They’re very easy to talk to and have conversations with aside from doing their jobs, which they excel at! Experiencia fantástica: It has been a while, so I was setup as a new patient. Connie did the intake, and was very considerate when taking me through the steps of taking the different x-rays and the 3d-scan needed for the evaluation. Larysa did the manual checking of the gums and teeth, and was gentle and careful while doing so, I was impressed. Dr. Parupally was good, and quite careful with his evaluation exam, especially with the major tooth I came in for, and was happy to answer my questions. Afterwards, Megan was attentive and extremely helpful in answering my questions and addressing my concerns. It was a great experience. The initial appointment scheduling for this visit was extremely fast. I called yesterday, and they got me in at a desirable time today. The scheduling for my fist procedure is in a well-acceptable timeframe as well. Thank you all for working so hard on making the dentist visit a pleasant experience.

Experiencia fantástica: The whole crew today made me feel so comfortable and reassured me of everything that I had done. They were careful with all the procedures and made sure I was comfortable. I really appreciate all the extra care they take. It started with T with my check-in and my x-rays and then I believe I had to go to LA for my check up and whatever they call the procedure of checking the gums and everything and of course Casey was there for my receptionist and in a very nice job and was very polite, and I spoke with Rachael and got me all situated with my planned payment set up and Taryn finished it off the day with getting my molds for my teeth. All three of these ladies did a very nice job and of course my doctor her dentist who did my checkup did a fine job and was careful and made me feel comfortable too. I will always tell people about Aspen Dental and refer them here. Thanks everybody

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely terrible. Set up the appt Friday for an emergency on my bottom left moIar as it broke and and cant eat. I was told I could get there early and they'd get me in. 50 Mins later, 20 past my actual appt time I get in, no apology for waiting. They tell me they can't do anything about my 1 tooth today. I had an emergency with tooth and set the appt. On this premise. This is the only reason I set the appt. I'm in a lot of pain. I'm paying out of pocket and they insist I must go through their hour and a half exam. I can barely bite down for x-rays. The lady taken x-rays told me that's the only way people do it around here so I got up and drove to Smile on 32nd street. They are going to see me tomorrow and focus only on the one tooth that I'm having issues with and said that's not a big deal at all. At both places this would have been my first time as I just moved from AZ to Iowa. Aspen insisted they will not do anything but the exam today even though I haven't slept in two days and haven't eaten solid food in three days. It was not a good experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ll be honest—going to the dentist isn’t my favorite thing in the world. But after my visit today, I can genuinely say I’m so glad I came in. Connie was absolutely amazing. She’s down to earth, has one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met, and made me feel completely at ease from the moment I sat down. She even had some great music playing, which really helped calm my anxiety. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of me. Rachel was also fantastic—super kind and incredibly helpful. She took the time to clearly explain payments and billing in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming, which is something I really appreciated since that can often be stressful. Because of these two wonderful women, I would absolutely come back here for any dental needs. They made what’s usually an uncomfortable experience feel easy and welcoming.

Experiencia negativa: I have never been to Aspen dental before, I made an appointment because I was dealing with extreme pain in the lower right side of my jaw. I got there and after I filled out information they needed, I was taken back for x-rays, which was VERY painful. After that a hygienist came in and poked around in my mouth and that was painful also. After all this and sitting in s room for over an hour a doctor came in and said I had an infection and that my tooth needed to be pulled and I would need a implant or a bridge after my tooth was pulled. Long story short. They never told me what to do for the pain or the swelling in the mean time of waiting for my tooth to br pulled in a week. They prescribed me an antibiotic, which they forgot to call in to the pharmacy! So I went home still dealing with excruciating pain and I put an ice pack on it after I rinsed my mouth with warm salt water. I did this on my own they never told me what to do for the pain and swelling. This morning I wake up and my whole right side of my face is swollen and I am still in alot of pain! All in all they told me this process of the tooth pull and a bridge will cost me 2,000 even after insurance. I feel they could have done a better job explaining things and making it less expensive. I am not sure what to do at this point. I am truly not sure i want to return. I feel they care more about the money and not my well being.

Experiencia fantástica: Got in for a same day appointment for a broken tooth. Lauryn and Dr. P helped this dental anxiety patient feel more at ease. Very friendly and gentle dispositions.

Experiencia negativa: I went in for a minor cracked tooth with the goal of having it cleaned and bonded. Before scheduling, I specifically asked about conservative treatment and was told that bonding was absolutely a possibility, which is what got me in the door. Once I arrived they said I needed full films so they could determine if the crack was near a nerve. Since it clearly wasn’t, the dentist said the only option was to drill the tooth to “see” how close the crack was to the nerve, with the expectation that it would likely require a root canal. The treatment options presented in the office did not align with what was communicated beforehand. Had I been told upfront that exploratory drilling and a likely root canal were the expected course, I would not have scheduled the appointment. I found the inconsistency frustrating and misleading.

This transition was made so easy by this professional and friendly staff at Aspen. I want to personally thank Casey and Megan. Then there is El who actually did my teeth deep cleaning. Dr P who took the time to explain in detail all my options in a way I could understand. I highly recommend Aspen Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: No one necessarily likes the dentist but Aspen was great. I have a cracked tooth and came to Aspen for a treatment plan and/or options. Connie took xrays and was amazingly patient with me, Teri did my numbers explaining as she went, and Dr. P evaluated me. They were super kind and explained what they saw along the way, and what that meant for me. I know a lot of people don't want the judging associated with dental visits, but I'd give this place a try. It is clean and quiet and they kind of meet you where you are for dental work treatment. I appreciated their understanding and kindness when I am a bit of a mess (cracked teeth are not fun), but consider Aspen if you are wary.

As far as scheduling appointments goes I was double booked a few times and scheduling during the offices lunch break twice. I believe the people that do the scheduling are like a call center and aren’t actually working at the actual locations. Everyone at the Lindale location was extremely friendly and helpful though.

Experiencia negativa: I am uninsured ànd wanted to take advantage of their new client special. They ended up telling me I needed $1,000 worth of laser treatment before I could get a regular cleaning. I said no ànd went back to my previous dentist in town who was appalled that they suggested such an extreme ànd expensive treatment plan for me. I encourage you to go literally anywhere else. Aspen has a reputation for being a for profit corporation that does not have the best interests of its clients in mind.

I appreciated them all for their professionalism and understanding for my frankly poor health due to being disabled and give them kudos for working with me so well as I'm autistic and cannot maintain eye contact - they did not attempt to hold eye contact or seem frustrated that I did not - which I've had with other various doctors and such in the past. They were gentle, they took their time, made sure I had my questions answered, they addressed all my needs, and the wonderful individual in billing addressed my needs for billing insurance and making sure the visit was very affordable out of pocket (again, I'm disabled). I am proud to say I will be back, I currently have more appointments scheduled and a plan to take better care of things going forward. (ope, I reviewed under the account with only 150 some reviews instead of the one with even more. Oh well)

She quoted me over 12,000 and said that might not even be the whole thing. Stop wasting people's time and be up front with things, that was a horrible waste of my time that I could have spent trying to find real help.

Experiencia negativa: Made an appointment online and when I arrived they did not honor the appointment. They didn’t even try to accommodate me or try to schedule me for a different day. Pretty much just said you’re not on the schedule and we can’t help you further.

I had a horrible experience somewhere else a few years ago and talked to them about it, so they would know why I was anxious and nervous.
