Experiencia fantástica: Really grateful for pediatric practices like these. The whole place was tailored for a child’s needs, staff was incredibly kind, and Dr Evan was so efficient. Definitely making this our dental practice from now on.

Experiencia negativa: This is a profit maximizing practice if there ever was one. We feel (and a second opinion essentially confirmed) that they attempted to over-treat our son to maximize their revenue. When I asked them questions about the extent of treatment recommended, I got filibuster responses that were anything but reassuring. Visiting a different dentist generated a treatment plan that was ~50% of what Primary Teeth was trying to get away with. The treatment you receive and bedside manner here may be quality, but who wants to work with someone who will look you in the eye and say your child needs expensive invasive treatment that they actually don't?

Experiencia fantástica: I may have been more nervous than my kid the first time we came, he is pretty sensitive to sounds, textures etc. and also leery of new environments. Dr Evan and his team went at a kid friendly pace and explained everything, and he got to watch cartoons on the big TV and got a balloon afterwards 5/5 from my kid, he has asked a few times when we’re going back. 5/5 from me too, we got in a proper cleaning and the hygienist even got him to cooperate for the x-rays.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my son's first visit to the dentist ever, and Dr. Evan and his staff made it so fun and easy. Dr. Evan took the time to show him all the tools he would be using and carefully explained everything thoroughly to us as well. The office itself is so bright and filled with toys and distractions for the kids. The dental hygienist even made him a balloon animal which was a huge hit!

I have both my kids who are ages 3 & 1, so they were busy-bees and the office had many things to keep both entertained! Service wise, the dental assistant and the Dentist were gentle and even explained everything they were going to use and do to the kids!

He was very kind and patient to explain my daughter’s treatment plan. All the staffs are very friendly, polite and nice!! Dr. Chang’s assistant was massaging my daughter’s jaws when Dr. Chang was performing the procedure. The dental office is super clean!!! I immediately recommend Dr. Chang to my friends’ kids!

Experiencia fantástica: We've had a FANTASTIC experience at Primary Teeth! After leaving a previous office where our kids had to see a different dentist every visit, and lots of chaos with other patients in tight cubicles next to each other, we were so relieved to find Primary Teeth. Dr. Evan and his staff are amazing with kids and his office is a dream. They've thought through every detail to make kids feel comfortable and welcomed, from the waiting room with fun books about teeth and art on the walls, to the exam room with a ceiling TV for kids and benches for parents to sit and feel included... and even to the bathroom with a stepstool for tiny handwashers! We have been so impressed during both visits, first with both our 5 year old and 2.5 year old getting regular check-ups (and leaving the office with grins ear to ear, and balloons & goody bags in hand); and then with our older son getting a cavity filled after the disappointing news of tooth decay. It went so smoothly that I fear our older son won't even mind getting cavities since he had such a great time at the dentist! Dr. Evan explained everything to us and gauged our comfort level with his plan, and talked through alternatives, listing pros and cons. Such tailored care, so much compassion and so much fun. And Dr. Evan's whole team is extremely thoughtful, patient, fun, upbeat and professional. I can't say enough good things about them! And they're conveniently located with street parking available and easy to find. I wish Dr. Evan could be my own dentist!

Scheduled for 8:30am, arrived at 8:10(our fault), saw doctor at 8:55am, finished at 9:05am. Staff are friendly and the doctor is great, just very disappointed with the poor scheduling

Experiencia fantástica: Recently our usual dentist became out of network with Delta Dental so I was on the hunt for a new provider for my two toddlers. I was nervous to try a new place but it turned out to be a great experience. The doctor was friendly, knowledgeable, answered my questions and explained the process to my child & myself. They also had little buckets of toys that attracted my kids and made them feel comfortable in a new environment. The staff is friendly and we’re overall glad to have found this place.

Experiencia fantástica: I have 3 kiddos and this was our first time at Primary Teeth Pediatric Dentistry. It’s my understanding that the office is fairly new however Dr. Chang (Dr. Evan to the kids) has been practicing for over a decade now. We had to find a new pediatric dentist that would take Dental Dental and this is a gem of a find! The office is welcoming upon entry and the kids were excited to see their names in their assigned rooms. I loved that the office didn’t have any weird smells like another office had. The kids felt comfortable with Dr. Evan and although my youngest child had some trouble getting his molars x-rayed they were very patient with him until they were able to get them done. Dr. Chang explained the plan of care and made clear recommendations for each of my children which I appreciated. The kids loved the goody bags with the balloon (under 12 year olds) that had wooden handled toothbrushes, floss stick, floss string and even bubbles.

Experiencia fantástica: Best dental office I have ever been! Took my son there for a dental checkup (TK enrollment requirement) today. First the office is modern and clean. Checkin was a breeze. The dental hygienist was extremely good with kids-she was engaging, warm, firm and efficient. My boy went through the first dental cleaning and imaging in his life with nothing but giggles. Dr. Evan is super clear in explaining everything to me and also great with kids. The goodie bag with the ballon and stickers won my boy’s heart. He even got a sugar-free lollipop and I got a cold brew coffee as reward. I wish I could come here for my teeth too haha. My boy said I love to go to dentist (said no kid ever) can we go tomorrow again

Please ignore any of the negative reviews, they are for the previous office (Total Health Dental) that was at this location. This office is a wonderful space and everyone working there is great. Dr. Evan and the dental assistant Kayla are both wonderful with kids, and they gave us super helpful advice for caring for our son's teeth. I feel so glad to have found an excellent dentist for my son.

In contrast, this place just revolves around kids - from the decor, the toys, and most importantly how Dr. Evan and the whole team interact. Yes, my 2 year old still cried a bit but it was WAY better than expected thanks to their skills and tricks. We will definitely be coming here for all future dental care!

My oldest has some extra support needs and the doctor was kind, funny and patient. She left saying she had fun! My 2 yr old loved the office and had a blast playing with the toys. Not as excited about having a stranger look in her mouth. The dentist was so patient with her while she basically screamed in his face. He got her through the exam and she left with a smile on her face. So glad we found this place!!

Right from the first, the front desk staff calmed my nervous daughter down with coloring and asking her questions about herself. Dr. Evan was so good with my kids, explaining everything to them, and not prolonging the cleaning. It was their first visit, so both were nervous, and he was able to keep both them feeling safe and secure. He was very helpful with his advice, and I very glad I found them.

Experiencia fantástica: My kiddo had his first ever dental visit here a couple weeks ago and we have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Evan and his staff. The online portal is easy to use for paperwork so that when you are in the office you can just focus on your kid. It's a true pediatric practice, and Dr. Evan's ample experience with little kids was very apparent. Street parking was easier than expected and overall the whole thing was very smooth and stress-free for both mama and toddler. It's a newer practice and I'm glad we got in as established patients now - in the future I imagine these folks will get booked up quickly.

My two year old had never been to the dentist before, but he (and his parents!) were put at ease the moment we entered the door and interacted with the team, saw the nice office, and saw the thoughtful age appropriate toys and books to keep the kiddo entertained and distracted. My toddler was none too pleased about his oral exam (as expected), but he so enjoyed the overall experience that he happily said "Thank you, Dr. Evan" a couple of times on our way out. Experiencia fantástica: Dr Evan and his team at Primary Teeth are top notch! They were gentle, informative and supportive of my son who has ADHD and is usually very anxious at the dentist. They explain each action they are taking and give the child a chance to feel the sensation each tool causes prior to going in to do the work. I appreciate Dr. Evan taking the conservative approach to any areas of concern. And parents, (this is huge for me) they do not try and make you feel shame if your child has an issue!!! The office is in a great location and it’s clean, comfortable and cute, with a digital welcome sign for your child as you arrive. I could continue, but you get it, they are simply the best! (and this is out 4th pediatric dentist in 8.5 years, so we’ve seen some things out there!) Our family highly recommends Dr Evan and Primary Teeth⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Evan is the man. He had lots of tricks to help my 21 month old through his first dental appointment. He showed the dental equipment and explained everything, although that did not soothe my son the way some bubbles did later. You know that moment when the parent in you recognizes the parent in someone else? I had that moment as Dr Evan started singing "Wheels on the Bus" to my boy during his exam to try to help him calm down. I sang along. Dr Evan reported information to the assistant for the chart between verses. Two verses of Wheels on the Bus and one verse of Baby Beluga later- it was done. Some stickers, a balloon, and my son walked out of there a happy kid. I'm still astounded that this morning wasn't a complete disaster, although I'm convinced now that if my boy had a total meltdown it would have been ok. Dr. Evan kept everything light, easy, fun, and had a lot of compassion. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment.

Instead he got to practice brushing a dinosaur’s teeth and watched Bluey as they did his exam and cleaning. They explained to him every step of the process and made him very comfortable. They were very informative on continuing his dental care at home and included an info magnet for the fridge with further information.

There was a screen on the ceiling to watch and his approach showed expertise and patience. The first thing she saw walking in was a warm smile at reception and it didn'tstop there. Dr. Evan gave us tips and tricks for optimal care and he even had the Dental Dino from the Blippi YT. He is knowledgeable of the pediatric dentist community and even assessed previous conditions. It was a wonderful first time experience!

A virtual visit is not enough to diagnose a need for dental health procedures and they were going to charge us huge amounts for unnecessary work. The people who work here are so nice and I don’t blame them, but save your mouth and your money. (They ask you to rate the place in exchange for some custom mouth wash? Assuming that’s what many of the good reviews here are.)

Experiencia negativa: TLDR: Extremely overpriced, do your research! I started with Total Health Dental Care in April 2022. At my first check-up, they claimed I needed a deep clean, a night guard, and a cavity filling. The total charge for these procedures/items came out to over $2000 (and that's after insurance took a bite out). I was shocked but because I hadn't been to the dentist in a while, I didn't do proper research and accepted the charge. I then made the mistake of doing post-payment research. I discovered that their prices for night guards and deep cleanings were multiple 100s of dollars more than other dentists in the area. Moreover, during my deep clean, my hygienist mentioned multiple times that my teeth were in good shape and she didn't think I needed the deep cleaning. Needless to say, I felt like I had been majorly ripped off. I did not write a review when all this happened even though I was furious and felt like I had been taken. Today was my final straw though. I called to see how much it would cost to get a wisdom tooth removed. The quote came out to over $900. I called two other dentists in the area who both gave a quote of under $500 without insurance for the same procedure! When I called Total Health back to ask for their pricing rationale, they re-quoted me $345. I asked what caused the sudden drop in price and they did not know but said they would put me in touch with billing. When I called billing, they told me that I had actually overpaid for my procedures from earlier this summer and so I had ~$600 in credit. This means that they were going to automatically reapply my credit to another procedure without letting me know that I had the option to withdraw it. Obviously I did withdraw the balance, cancelled my appointment, and am booking an appointment elsewhere for over $500 less. Extremely crooked behavior.

Not only did Jose and Erica make me feel right at home, they made the process was quick, concise, and overall pleasant. Chelsea help me with my x-rays and everything was so smooth. Once this was done, I met with the dentist virtually and he answered all my questions. I left booked for my first cleaning and I am feeling good. Thank you Total Health Dentist Care!
