Experiencia negativa: They don’t have board games for Toddlers while We wait and on top of that the front desk girl is not even polite giving you a whole attitude I’m miss the girls from the Howell office always so polite and helping you in everything Lakewood office not good at all

Experiencia fantástica: We had such a positive experience today! My daughter is extremely fearful of the dentist, and the entire staff was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding with her. They took their time, explained everything clearly, and made sure she felt as comfortable as possible throughout her visit. I truly appreciated how informative they were with me as well and how they never made her feel rushed or embarrassed about being nervous. Their patience and compassion made what could have been a very stressful visit so much easier. I’m very grateful for the care they showed my daughter and would definitely recommend this office, especially for anyone with a child who has dental anxiety!

Experiencia fantástica: This office is a little farther from us than we'd prefer, especially since they relocated, but after trying their other branches, this one is by far the best. My daughter has always been treated with such kindness, patience, and care. She's still very young, gets nervous, and tends to fidget during appointments, but the staff handle her so gently and professionally every time. She always walks in feeling anxious, but they make her feel comfortable, and we leave with smiles on our faces. I'm so grateful for their kind, caring team that makes every appointment easy and stress-free. We even tried a few dentists closer to home to cut down on the commute, but we ultimately came back because this is the only office we've found where my daughter doesn't end up crying after her appointments. The extra drive is absolutely worth it!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent. We were rescheduled to go there from our usual Toms River location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tech was kind and knowledgeable and gave me lots of tips to help my three kids, who all had the same time appointment and were seen quickly and efficiently. Place was very clean and new, and if we didn’t live 30 min away, it would be our regular location. Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: A little disappointed. This office was dirty, smells, and had a needle on the floor. I asked for help with aid in getting insurance, I was told the front desk could help. Front desk said they couldn't help. I went home and researched. I had to take my son to another appointment for the free insurance that I was able to obtain and they also found he had impacted wisdom teeth and said that this may be the cause of his pains. Why did this office not tell me about his wisdom teeth also? I'm not only unsatisfied with the service and the appearance of this office, I'm also stuck with the bill from this office.

Experiencia negativa: I was disappointed with our experience at dentistry for children Lakewood location . The environment did not feel very kid-friendly, especially for younger children. During my 2-year-old’s appointment, my child was clearly distressed and crying, and even after I asked the hygienist to stop brushing, she continued. That was very uncomfortable for me as a parent. I hope they can improve their approach to make visits more gentle and responsive to young children’s needs.

Experiencia fantástica: It was my nephews first dental experience... and it was AMAZING! The staff from before we arrived to the end of visit was PHENOMENAL! He was nervous, fidgety and asking a lot of questions... they answered all his questions and made sure to prepare him to make him comfy and distracted in great ways for his first cleaning. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THE LAKEWOOD LOCATION! LOVE THEM!!! THANKS LAKEWOOD TEAM!!!!

They have laughing gas, and the work is done quick and efficiently, and the camaraderie is so pleasant and upbeat!!

My daughter has extreme sensory issues and my son has anxiety when visiting the dentist & the staff treats then so kindly! The staff as a whole are patient, gentle and truly the best. I highly recommend tbis office!!!! They have made my children’s dentist experience enjoyable vs scary!

The staff was very welcoming, quick acting and very friendly. We will be going to lkwd office moving forward and hope to continue to have visits like this!

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Lee was so patient and explained everything he did. I used to be very happy with this dentist. Until I made appointment and when I arrive my appointment are not in the system and when I need paperwork emailed it takes forever unless I go down to the office. And they make appointment for 3 kids at a time but then don't have time for all 3 and only get to see 2. The waiting time is very long and a 9 o'clock appointment can mean that I leave at 11 the earliest. I'm super annoyed

Fran, our dental hygienist was friendly, very thorough and patient with my non verbal 6 yr old son who has autism and my toddler. Very satisfied with the cleaning. She also educated me on better strategies on how to deal with my son's oral care. Definitely would recommend this clinic especially for kids with special needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Both of my sons aged 10 and 3 left there aftering having a wonderful experience. From the office staff, to the nurses, and dentists we were all treated so kindly. Both the nurse and dentist were very kind and informative about what was going on and what needed to be done. No judgement was passed and they were so sweet with my 3 year old that I was shocked by how well he did!! They are all definitely in the right profession. I highly recommend Dentistry for Children in Lakewood!!

Experiencia negativa: Worst dentist I have ever seen and experienced in a very long time. They have very poor customer service. Bad attitude to kids and parents. My kid was scheduled to go to the hospital for dental surgery. She woke up with a fever that day, so they couldn't do the surgery. Now they banned me from the practice because I canceled the app for non emergency! Do they put a kid on anesthesia with a fever. Seriously?? Ridicules! I would not recommend this practice to anyone! Stay away! Nasty.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled an appointment for my daughter on January 21st for 4 pm on Friday, march 14th. I had to take time off of work, and I pulled my daughter out of school early to ensure we got to her appointment on time. I pulled up to an empty parking lot but still wanted to check to see if they were open. The office wasn't, it was locked. I'm so glad I scheduled an appointment online almost 2 months ago, used my PTO, and pulled her out of school early to show up to locked doors. Thanks for the phone call, email, or even a text would've been nice. Update your online scheduling if you don't work past a certain time. I will obviously be looking for another dentist because this was such a waste of time.

We've been to a few dentist who couldn't get xrays, they made her so comfortable they got them done. She was so happy when she was done and proud of herself. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Wouldn’t come back! Not a great experience for children. Radicalized dental hygienist wouldn’t allow 2 parents in the room with their own child, which is what I assume her attempt to hold onto “Covid” distancing policies in 2025. Shameful

Experiencia negativa: Only giving 2 stars because the hygienist is wonderful and very sweet and kind. Everything else about this office is terrible! They insisted my son has 12 cavities. Thankfully we switched to another office where it became clear that he had only 2! I know many others had similar experiences here. They will try to get as much money as they can out of you or your insurance plus you get lots of attitude too! Stay away

Experiencia negativa: My experience with this office since day 1 has been a nightmare. Yes I understand offices have “policies” but when your policy means leaving children unattended in the waiting room and or with the dentist that is unacceptable. My youngest son was getting a cleaning, I let him go back for X-rays alone because I wasn’t going to argue AGAIN why he shouldn’t be alone. Once X-rays were done and I was able to go be with my 4 year old I was told my other child had to wait in the waiting room. ALONE WITH STRANGERS. Yet another gentleman was pulled back right before me to go be with his child and he had other children with him. If this office would actually book ALL children in ONE family the same day most of us wouldn’t have this problem. They have all these signs not to leave your kids in the car, but think it’s totally acceptable to leave a MINOR unattended in a waiting room or to have an exam. I could understand if my son was being gassed and or having a procedure but that wasn’t the case, it was just a cleaning. So if you don’t have a village to help you babysit I wouldn’t choose this office to go to.

Experiencia positiva: The hygienist was extremely kind with my toddler, it was her first dental appt. She was very informative and nice. She is the only reason why are going to give the office another shot. The dentist was not patient, extremely fast and acted like I was just another number. Didn’t even listen when I asked him a question. We are fluoride free and he didn’t even look at our chart. Told me to wait and he’ll be right back to polish her teeth and he didn’t come back. They told me next time they’ll do a full visit. I drove 48 minutes for that.
