Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience I have had with Dr. Basar and the entire office staff at Advanced Smile Dentistry! I had my consultation for upper implants a little over a month before my wedding. For years I had issues with my teeth, but I wanted the happiness on my wedding day to show in my smile. Dr. Basar explained the whole process to me and 6 days later I came in for my procedure and left with a new smile! They have state of the art equipment and Owen designed my temporary implants amazingly and my smile looks completely natural. Lauren was also wonderful in helping with the business side of things. My smile hasn’t left my face yet!

Experiencia fantástica: Please let me preface this review by saying I am a current patient of Advanced Smile Dentistry, not a fan on going to the dentist, and am not getting paid for this review. I am over the moon by the service I am receiving by not only Dr Basar but his entire staff. They are considerate and caring. I am in the process of having “snap in” upper implants. People always ask me “isn’t that costing you a fortune.” My answer is “it’s not cheap but I don’t want cheap.” Implants are somewhat expensive but well worth it. My teeth were in terrible shape, so bad I could hardly eat and would not do a lot of smiling. I felt it was worth the money to be comfortable again and have a nice smile.

Experiencia negativa: To all just beware of this place It starts out welcoming & warm but as a patient last Nov Dec vg but New Year Feb March with all of a sudden Blood pressure testing (good for me ) you get blindsided by stuff no follow up on my situation by office staff & don't call office to have a call back from Lauren because she doesn't all truth experience no sour grapes. Also Dr Basar you never meet

Experiencia negativa: I reached out to Advanced Smile Dentistry after seeing a message that they would provide pricing for dental implants via text and email. Sounds convenient, right? WRONG. Instead, I got a message from some AI bot named “Tom” telling me they can’t send pricing and that I’d have to schedule a consultation. So basically, they lure you in with false promises and then immediately backtrack — classic bait-and-switch. If a dental office can’t even be honest about how they communicate prices, how can you trust them with something as serious (and expensive) as implants? Transparency matters, especially when it comes to medical care. The trust is broken before you even walk in. If you value honesty and clear communication, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

The main reason for my visit was for a cleaning, which I must say was probably the best dental cleaning experience that I’ve had in a long time. Experiencia fantástica: I was 1st scared to go to the dentist but after 4x going to different dentist offices I found Advance Smiles to make me feel comfortable w/ the friendly staff & Dr David to do my teeth w/ pulling my 9 teeth on the bottom at once & no bloody mouth. Same day gave me temp.bottom denture to use while my mouth heals.Then next week I went not being nervous they started to do mouth impressions on top & bottoms. Few weeks later they started implants 5 of them & 1 bone graft, had to wait 3 months for bone to heal to my mouth then got another implant there.weeks later.Then we had to do several settings of top & bottoms to match together, it took me 1 yr to do my tops & bottoms, pick the color & able to finally eat the way normal people eat & smile. They offered financial loan too. I definitely will tell all to go to Advance Smiles in Tom’s River, they are my dentist for life-Thank you to all for my new mouth & teeth

Experiencia negativa: About year ago I went to have a 66 yr old, extremely loose, & ready to fall out tooth that I wanted removed. Dr came out to take a peek for about 5 min of his time. Told me it needed to come out. I agreed. When assistant came to go over the paper work, she explained it would cost $600. My jaw dropped & I told her I wouldn't pay that price, she tried to negotiate the price down to $500. I left the office & went to another dentist down the road on rt 37 East. Paid $280, & it took less than 5 seconds, didn't even realize the tooth was out so fast. DON'T ALLOW the high tech decor fool you. He's a money hungry rip off.
