He was very pleasant and welcoming. Having worked in a dental office for 30 years I must say the office is bright and clean, the staff is warm and friendly, and their office equipment is state of the art. Experiencia negativa: A Cautionary Tale After 15 Years of Loyalty I was a loyal patient of Gilbert Smiles for over 15 years under Dr. Swain’s care. He was exceptional—kind, thorough, and trustworthy. Unfortunately, since the practice changed ownership, everything has gone downhill. The new management failed to inform me that my insurance was no longer accepted. They proceeded with extensive dental work without verifying coverage, and I only found out when I received a full, unexpected bill. When I reached out for clarification, they were completely unwilling to work with me. No apology, no accountability, just a demand for full payment. Despite my long history with the practice (my entire family were patients), they sent the bill to collections and refused to negotiate. It was a shocking and disappointing end to what had once been a great relationship. I’ve since moved to a new provider who actually values transparency and patient trust. Gilbert Smiles, under its current ownership, has lost mine entirely. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Well Gilbert Smiles you have done just that, you have given me all these from all you amazing people. From the scheduling with Beth or shall I say the miracle woman, to Tiffany at the front reception who makes you feel comfortable as you first meet Gilbert Smiles. Then you are brough back to the room to be put in the chair and feel like you are at home chilling on your favorite lounger. Then you are given the golden treatment as they use their new technology for Xray's, no need for that heavy radiation stopper. Dr. Swain then enters and gives you the low down on what the reality is for your dental needs. The other reviews are true, Dr Swain is a straight shooter with the words he speaks, it makes sense. Now you get the pleasure as I did by working with Kris for my bottom teeth for a deep cleaning then my next visit with Stacey for the top teeth. How cool is it that you get treated with respect, the work they perform is the best I have had in my 40 years of visiting dentists. No pain and and a job well done. It has been a pleasure to build such a strong start to our relationship. I have got to know you, like you and trust you. The old dentist I saw made an already problem tooth worse for me which is when I came to Dr. Swain and his team. Thank goodness I did because they are seriously the best. Not only is all the staff incredible and remember who you are, they don’t oversell you on stuff you don’t need which is something I find that’s very hard to come by with dentists and medical professionals in AZ. Dr. Swain gives you options, never pressuring you one way or another. No crazy wait times, the staff gets you in and out in a timely manner and they are all just lovely to be around. He has done root canals and crowns and even stayed late when I came in and needed a root canal which turned out to be complicated. He is also my grand kids dentist since they were very little.
