Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking my daughter here for years and I feel like they always do a great job. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist is very nice and gentle with my child. They are always willing to explain things and we are never rushed.

Experiencia negativa: I have some concerns regarding this provider. They have been really pushy with the referral to the Orthodox, but never expressed any concerns. Additionally, when in the office, they put on gloves, then started touching and opening cabinets, and then proceeded to work on my kid. The tech had done some sealants and something else, but needed some special strings. Another tech gave her 4, but later she realized she had asked for two. The other tech was informed of this. She put on gloves, then took the additional 2 strings and carried them away, but never threw them in the trash next to us. The next morning, my daughter woke up vomiting and with horrible stomach pains.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great experience! They started our appointment a few minutes I have to wait. The hygienist was very quick and efficient they build our insurance so no payment was due upfront. We will return soon for some teeth to be pulled and the estimate was very reasonable.. This was a huge relief! Our daughter has some special needs, and it is not easy to take her to the dentist.

Experiencia negativa: Watch out cause 2 weeks ago they stopped accepting our insurance, but made no attempt to reach out, just let us know when we showed up for the appointment scheduled for the last month. To anyone that has Solstice Insurance, figured I'd do my part here to let you know that since they don't want to do that job :)

Experiencia negativa: The dentist did not inform me that she was putting fluoride on my daughter’s teeth (something that I am against) even after asking her twice what the tube was. After the fluoride was applied, she then apologized and tried to lecture me on why I should not be concerned. She took away my right to choose and that was totally unacceptable.

We loved the cleanliness of the office, and the professionalism of the staff, and watching how kind and patient everyone was with our girls. I can't recommend Islands Pediatric Dentistry enough to other parents! Definitely go for a great, safe, and informed experience for your kids!

Experiencia negativa: Took my son here after some misunderstanding with a recent dentist and an unpleasant experience with another in mesa. So after some searching I found this place with good reviews. At 1st very nice, kind, and friendly. Made my son comfortable and everything. Took him in for surgery came early and ended up waiting over an hour for my son to be called back. Than after surgery found out I was reported. So don't let this place fool you.

Experiencia negativa: First time coming here a week ago. Front desk team was rude and short with me. Waiting area does have much for kids to do while waiting. Cleaning room is very small and crowded. Cleaning was 5 minutes and doctor didn’t ask much about my son.

Experiencia fantástica: I can't recommend Islands Ped. dentistry enough! We came after having a horrible experience at Kidtastic dental in Mesa. Islands made sure my son was comfortable every step of the way, even if it took them longer. No one ever acted like he was an inconvenience and have even scheduled his follow up work for extra time to make sure he can calmly take the sedation medicine. I plan on sending all my friends here with their kids.

I didn't feel like she was in a rush mode. I definitely recommend taking your kids there.... plus the office was super clean and Nice.

Experiencia fantástica: Very cute decor! The Dentist and staff were very friendly. My son is young and did not have any hesitation with letting the Dentist look in his mouth. He also liked receiving a coin and using it to get a small toy. Overall, I would recommend.

Experiencia negativa: We arrived late for a 3 child dentist appointment; and they canceled our appointment because we were late. They said they only allot 30 minutes per child; which should alarm any parent first off (what kind of dentist only has a 30 minute appointment block? A practitioner that cares more about money than care). Im disappointed because the manager didn’t have any empathy with pulling 3 children from 3 different schools and then fighting construction on the way to being 13 minutes late to an appointment that was booked 6 months before. They weren’t kind and seemed happy to have lost 3 patients for years to come. We should have bot been late; but there’s a way to do business , oh and we also called to alert them that we were running late due to traffic. There’s no reason why this dentist practice couldn’t try a little harder to be more helpful. They could have suggested another time; or perhaps been empathetic to the situation. I refuse to do business with companies like this anymore because there are too many other options.

They provided options for her treatment, and there was no pressure on our choice of treatment. Thank you for providing a great stress free office visit!

Experiencia negativa: We were on time for our appointment and we had to wait 30-45 min after our appointment time to be seen. We also had to ask them to bring out new utensils because the ones they tried to use on my 12 month old were sitting out when we got there and did not look clean. The cleanliness was not what you would expect for a dentist office. This was our first and last visit.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Rez and his entire staff are the friendliest and most professional people I’ve encountered. My daughter went in for a procedure, and the entire staff made sure to address her and ask her how she felt. Nothing makes a mom feel better than seeing others care for your child. I was thoroughly explained everything being done as well as the after care. The best part, my daughter (4 yrs) isn’t afraid of the dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: Such a great pediatric dental office! Our 3 children are patients and never fuss about going. Our son just turned 4 and needed a cavity filled a few months ago. He's a very shy/nervous child and he did AMAZING! The entire staff was fun, kind and explained everything to him. He didn't cry, fuss or whine once. He was fully awake during the cavity fill and we genuinely couldn't believe it. The staff is amazing here and the doctor's are quick and thorough (perfect for kids).

Experiencia negativa: We went a total of maybe 4 times over 2 years to this office, because they were in network. The main dentist, Dr. R?, seems to have sold and moved on. Though I didn't terribly trust him either. He kept pushing that all my children had a tongue tie and needed surgery but our pediatrician kept saying no way. So has the other dentist that we have since switched to. No tongue ties. Big red flag for me. About a year ago we had an routine check up with him and without any communication it was a different dentist who was old grumpy and told me he was back from retirement. He barely looked at my kids teeth for 5 seconds. They also had a whole new office staff and procedures that seemed a bit much. As stated before, we have since switched to someone else and have told Islands multiple times that we have switched and they will NOT stop calling and texting me to set up new appointments.

Experiencia fantástica: Edit: we went in today to get some extractions and caps put on. The dentist was amazing same with the assistant. They made sure she was okay and they allowed me and my dad back during the dental work. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful atmosphere. Education was given and much appreciated. They made a scary time not so much. I brought in my child in today to get a dental plan started. They listened to what my child had to say and respected her choices. Everyone was so kind and the dentist educated me as well. I’d highly recommend this office. I was informed that dr. Rez no longer works there and the main dentist is on vacation at this time but I’m sure she will be amazing.

Experiencia negativa: Our original appointment was scheduled under my husbands name instead of my daughter (who was actually being seen). The appt was then canceled. We never received the paperwork via text to fill out which delayed our new appt time. I attempted to schedule my daughter for her stays x rays procedure and that was the most difficult part, the lady scheduling the appointment was very difficult to deal with and eventually I told her I was getting annoyed and to cancel everything and me and my daughter left, with no follow up appt, they then sent my husband a text for an appt in Feb of 2025. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Experiencia negativa: BE AWARE! Worst dental clinic EVER! I had both of my kids do fillings there, and I have a very good dental insurance. They front desk calculated the amount due to be $874.6 (and it was paid upon service). When I got my dental benefit statement, the amount I owed my dental provider was $397.2 (for both kids). I had called numerous times, left messages and sent emails to the billing department to issue me a refund for the amount they had me overpay for my kids' fillings and despite the promises of resolving the issue especially after I talked to the billing department team lead "Danielle", nothing has been resolved as of now, and not even a phone call back letting me know of an update on the billing discrepancy. Service was done May 2nd, and I started calling the. About the discrepancy in the amount 2 weeks after! I even went in person one time to resolve the issue, and they made photocopies of the statements, but all I got was promises and nothing done(claiming that the billing department is in a differnet office and i can call them about the issue, despite the fact that they made copies of the statements). Would never take my kids back to this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my nervous yet excited 4yo in for an exam, X-rays and cleaning. From reception on through we had an exceptional experience. The hygienist modified the cleaning so as to not cause any further fears and I know that made her experience so much better. We have to go back again soon and my daughter is so excited about it. I am incredibly grateful for our experience because going back isn't a scary thought.

Experiencia negativa: Made an appointment as a new patient over a month ago. I received several text reminders and text asking me to confirm appointment. Showed up today at 830am for confirmed appointment and they are closed! Call office and was able to speak to someone who just said yeah sorry we aren’t open on Saturdays. What?! We will not be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: We love coming to this dentist office. The location is perfect to where we live. The pricing is reasonable and they take our insurance. They give us back to back If not same time appointment for both our kids and the office is clean and neat and staff are friendly. Highly recommended.

Experiencia negativa: Of course I’m going to come here right after my children’s dentist appointment to write a review. It is a shame I have to give this place one star, solely because of one person. Everyone was friendly except for the dental hygienist, Kylie Fountain. Because of her my daughter left in tears, and the reason why children are terrified to go to the dentist. She was rough with my daughter and spoke to her very aggressively. I stood up for my daughter at the end up of the appointment, but she did not take accountability or apologize. Instead her response to speaking to my daughter in a rough manner was, “you can only ask someone something so many times”. And the closest thing to an apology was, “I’m sorry your daughter is upset because her mouth hurts”, when I had just told her my daughter was crying because of the way she treated her. She saw my daughter cry after she finished with her teeth, and no matter how much she denies and doesn’t take accountability, I know that deep inside she knew she was in the wrong because when she went to clean my son’s teeth, it was a night and day difference. Actions speak louder than words, and she really deserves to be fired. If this practice values their reputation they will do that, but if not, Kylie Fountain, I hope that you will mature enough one day to reflect on your actions of 5/29/24, and call us to apologize because that is the human thing to do. I know it was probably embarrassing and difficult to be made aware of your behavior in front of your coworkers, but you and I both know the truth, and if you can’t learn from this, PLEASE change your career. I hope your coworkers don’t turn a blind eye because they actually seem to be kind to children.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter needed 2 caps and 4 fillings. Our insurance is changing end of the month so the doctor squeezed us in immediately to help us out. She did a great job and my 3.5 slept through most of it after relaxing with the oral sedation. Everything went so smoothly given our last minute predicament.

My son had to go under anesthesia they didn’t call to confirm appointment days before as it should be, they call the actual day of 25 mins after appointment just to reschedule. They have cancel two appointments on me for no insurance assuming I couldn’t pay for my appointments! Now I’m sure there’s anything I this point to save my son teeth! None of my 4 kids going back there

Experiencia negativa: Wish I could give zero stars. Horrible experience. First off they don’t tell you when they have a new dentist and your child won’t be seeing the previous dentist. Then the gal who was supposed to clean my child’s teeth during her check up was extremely rude and rushed and reminded me that they are going to lunch soon. She didn’t even clean her teeth, just brushed it with a tooth brush. Kept saying she was only doing that because my daughter was scared but she only was scared because of how she was being treated. The only reason our appt was during her lunch time was because they were 30 mins late to getting us back. The dental assistant scarred my 5 year old daughter and now she is scared of going to the dentist, thanks for that. After I called the office and explained my experience , there was no return of payment or any care. I had previously spent $5,000 here because my daughter had a falling accident and broke 4 teeth.

Experiencia fantástica: My sweet girl had her first appointment at the dentist and did so good! She’s 15 months old and the team at islands pediatric dentistry were amazing with her. She cried just a bit but those tears quickly dried when the dental assistant gave her a toy and while I talked to the dentist. I’d recommend this office to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Siddique was amazing as well as her assistant. My daughter has terrible anxiety and had to do oral sedation. Even with that she was still nervous. They said all the right things and treated her wonderfully with care.

Experiencia fantástica: We've never had a bad experience at Islands, the entire team is amazing. Two dentists there have said that they got into pediatric dentistry because they had bad experiences at the dentist when they were kids, and wanted to change the experience for other children. You can really see how much they care for their patients. Wish they treated adults!

Experiencia negativa: The office staff is always super friendly and the place has a really cool theme and my kids love it. However I am not pleased with our service. My daughter had crowns, fillings and lots of dental work done and was put under anesthesia and when we got home I noticed that one of her very front teeth that has a cavity was not touched. I called the office and sent a picture and they got me in the next day. When we went in the dentist told me it is not a cavity and that it was just tooth discoloration. I am no dentist at all, but I knew it was not just a stain. He offered to “dig” out some of the tooth and put something in it to make it look better but why dig into a supposedly fine tooth? Whatever was out in it ended up falling out about a week later and I took her to a different dentist who right away said it was a cavity and showed me the xray and said it was clearly a cavity and filled it right away. I understand she had lots of work done and maybe with everything going on that tooth was missed, which I would have been completely fine with but to lie and say it was a “stain” and just “discoloration” when it was not just did not leave me with a good feeling and I just do not feel comfortable with my child in the hands of a place that would blanatantly lie.

Experiencia negativa: My kids have been patients of islands for about 6 years and it used to be phenomenal, everyone was extremely kind and Dr Rez was amazing with my girls and being able to talk to them and calm them down. Over the last few years there have been several other dentists in the office literally every time we have gone in there has been someone new. Our appointments get cancelled/rescheduled regularly with little warning after they’ve called/emailed me/text to confirm the appointment 6 times. I’m really upset that this dentistry has gone down hill. When we expressed our concern all we were told was that our file would be notated after our recent appointment was cancelled 30 minutes prior to the appointment

Experiencia fantástica: My son had an amazing experience. The staff was so nice and incredibly understanding of his needs. The dentist (my son called him "that cool guy Dr. H") was very gentle and offered great information to me. We will be using them going forward for all my son's dental care.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst place EVER!!!! The dental assistant was great but the dentist was horrible. He immediately numbed my son with gel, did not wait a few minutes, injected the needle to numb him, then immediately grabbed the drill to start drilling his tooth. He was not numb and could fill the pain. He was crying and freaking out. The dentist said he was numb but gave no time for the numbing medication to start working. Then because my son my was crying his eyes out, told me he could not work on him and that he would need to see a specialist. We left there with my son in pain, all because this dentist that should not be working on any child’s mouth. Horrible!!! Not to mention, he was rolling his eyes and huffing and puffing when I told him obviously my son was not numbed and could feel the pain. He has had dental work before and there was never an issue. Clearly it was this Dentist!!! Stay away!!!

Great attention to detail and such an amazing job keeping my daughter distracted and happy during her cleaning and X-rays. Love this place!!! :)

Experiencia negativa: Horrid experience today... for the 3rd, Yes, 3rd time in a row I got up and got ready me and my 5yr old to go to early morning dental visit... Only to be informed he'd been canceled on AGAIN! How fun. I just love setting aside time to do something, wasting my gas and energy, only to find out its been in vain! They also bold face lied each time saying they called, we even gave number again to be sure and nope still no call. This experience has been absolutely horrible. No thank you, we will go elsewhere.

Dr. Singh is the best with my daughter and makes her feel the most comfortable that she can be in a dental setting. My daughter did need some dental work, and we went for GA. That experience was the best option and I’m glad we went with it as she did super well before, during, and after the treatment. Dr. Singh did a fantastic job and my daughter cant wait to go back. He truly cares about his patients and it is shown at every visit, thank you! The entire staff is awesome, every single person! They made us feel welcomed through every door. Experiencia fantástica: Our pediatrician recommended Islands Pediatric Dentist office. At 3 weeks old we decided to take our baby in because he was having troubles eating, sleeping and was very fussy. My husband and I came in to have our son checked for a tongue tie. And we found out our little guy has both a lip and tongue tie. Dr. Singh was amazing he explained the procedure from a Dr’s prospective and then also being a dad. And made us feel good about making the choice to have our son’s lip and tongue tie released by Dr. Singh. They got us in the next day and it only took bout 5 mins and it was completed. And within a few days of the procedure our little guy was eating and sleeping so much better because he was able eat enough food to fill his little belly. I would highly recommend Dr. Singh he knows exactly what he’s doing and he’s just all around an amazing Doctor. We couldn’t be happier with the results and can’t wait to keep bringing our son to islands pediatric Dentist Office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Singh Has been great to our family he is so very patient with kids and such a great doctor he has helped two of my children with Tongue tie procedures .He is always so great to explain things to us . One of my son had speech problems and after procedure we have already seen a great improvement in his speech we are so greatful and thankful to have found him. It's true of what they say once u find a good doctor not to let go is hard to find good ones out here . Not to mention we live in maricopa and go to Gilbert to get treatment that's how great he is 100% recommended

I take all of my kids there and my kids have had such a good experience. Recently my youngest had a lip and tongue tie procedure and the outcome has been smooth!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely wonderful! As soon as you step in, the office smells great and you are greeted by the staff who are extremely welcoming. Our visit with Dr. Rez was phenomenal. He was kind and took the time to explain not only the dental work that needed to be done, but also offered preventative measures and shared some of his own personal experiences from his childhood and from working with kids. The dental assistant is awesome with children! She used a portable x-ray machine (how cool is that??) to quickly get the imaging that needed to be done, while being cautious of the sensitive dental area bothering the little one. The office even offers an option to text any paperwork directly to them and makes every bit of the process as smooth as possible. I am so glad we found Dr. Rez and his team. If you are looking for a compassionate dentist, with not only technical knowledge, but bedside manner, look no further! =)

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome friendly staff. Wonderful dentist. My son 4 year old has sensory issues which resulted in speech and feeding delay. The Dentist recommended the tongue tie surgery for my son and I have to say there has been so much improvement in the last six months we have gone for 100 single words to 300 different word and sentences. If your pediatrician is for it and dentist recommends it I think it could be a wonderful procedure to help a kiddos in need.

Experiencia fantástica: Best experience for both of my children! My son was so excited to go to the dentist and he was getting an extraction can you imagine! They made my kids feel safe, comfortable and they were able to relax to the point where my kiddos felt like there were at a spa! The staff goes out of their way to accommodate and communicate with insurance, appointments, reminders, and follow ups. Super happy I made this decision and my kiddos are as well! We will be coming here for years to come!

Experiencia fantástica: I could not have asked for a better experience. We went in for a first appointment and also had some concerns. My concerns were addressed and we came to a informative conclusion that a lip and tongue tie release was needed. We ended up going forward with it. The morning of the procedure I was nervous as a mother, but knew I had to be strong for baby. We arrived and every staff member to assistants to the doctors were so kind, patient, informative, and caring. The provide was done in 5 minutes and went over everything. Hours after his appt they called to check on my child and see how he was doing. So kind. I recommend this office to ANYONE. Best pediatric dentist office around. 10/10!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Rez is absolutely phenomenal! I could not even imagine there being a better pediatric dentist on the planet. I began bringing my son here at 11 months old for his initial dental check-up after having multiple teeth break through. Dr. Rez was extremely gentle and kind during the whole visit; both him and his staff worked exceptionally hard to make my son as comfortable as possible. At this visit, he informed me that my son had both a tongue and a lip tie. I had nursed my son for 11 months at this point, and I just assumed that nursing was somewhat painful because he was gaining weight fine. I scheduled that day to have his tongue and lip tie released the following week. Upon arriving at the appointment to have his tongue and lip tie released, Dr. Rez came in and reassured me of all my concerns personally. My only regret about the tongue and lip tie release was that I didn't have it done sooner! It makes SO much difference! My son began to make sounds he never had previously and nursing became something that was a good experience for both of us. I was so thankful for this operation that I insisted that my sister take my niece to be seen by him for the same operation right after my niece was born! My son is currently 2 and a half and we have seen Dr. Rez five times since that initial visit and everytime is just a wonderful experience. My son actually has multiple cavities and is scheduled to go under this week to have them taken care of, and I cannot be any more impressed with the office! My son has a blood disorder and they were extremely thorough and worked directly with the hematologist for the right course of care for him that day. They were accommodating to the fact he will need to receive an infusion at Phoenix Children's prior to the appointment and helped me schedule accordingly. I have nothing but confidence that my son will be completely fine going under on Thursday and he will be treated with the utmost care. A+ to Islands Pediatric Dentistry team! I highly recommend (if you couldn't already tell) Dr. Rez for lip and tongue tie releases to just general pediatric dentistry work. Very pleased!

Experiencia fantástica: My child had to get a tooth extracted, he was unable to handle our normal dentist and Dr. Rez was recommended. He was very caring and did a fantastic job of explaining what was going to happen. Through out the entire process they kept me informed and even though I was anxious everything went well. We will be coming back for general cleanings for both of my younger kids.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing experience with Islands Pediatrics Dentistry... All the staff are very welcoming, gentle, and helpful. Dr. Rez had a wonderful personality and you could really tell he loves working with the kids doing a great job. My son at 2 weeks old went to him for a lip tie (upper and lower) and tongue tie laser surgery. I of course was being a Mommy and just nervous in general, Dr. Rez helped relieve some of the nervousness. We walked into the room and his heart just melted when he saw my son. They took him and said a blessing and I knew I was in the right place. Everything went fine and my son healed very quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Rez and his team any day.

Experiencia negativa: Never again. Today my son who is one year old had an appointment that we submitted all paperwork and insurance information prior to our visit. My husband took our son to his appointment and an hour later had still not been seen and was sweating so profusely with the baby because there was no air conditioning in the office. When my husband asked how much longer for our son's appointment he was told it would be at least 15 minutes longer and it's longer and would a different time work better. He mentioned our scheduled appointment worked great. No one called or mentioned at check in how far behind they were in an office with no air on a 110degree day. Never Ever Again

Experiencia fantástica: I bring all my children here. My two older kidos 8 and 6 recently had work done and the entire staff has been so good to us. This is an amazing team! Dr. Rez is so awesome with the kids they love him and feel comfortable with him he really makes their dentist experiences go smoothly. My youngest daughter is 1 year old she has had her first check up with this facility and despite the fact that she cried the whole time because she had no clue what was going on the staff handled it well and did everything to calm her down. I STRONGLY recommend Islands Pediatric Dentistry!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience!! Dr. Rez did our little boy’s laser lip and tongue tie release procedure when he was a week and a half old. The difference it made in breastfeeding and his overall quality of life was DRAMATIC. It is evident that Dr. Rez is an expert in his field when it comes to laser procedures, and he was so great with my little guy in general. The entire staff and facility was top notch and I couldn’t be more happy with our experience here!

I haven’t stopped recommending him to my family and friends since I’ve visited his office to help my baby with lip and tongue ties. The care Dr. Rez took with my infant is unmatched and he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to help us understand and feel knowledgeable about the procedure, aftercare and information in general about what we were experiencing. Dr. Rez really exceeded my expectations and I appreciate that he is constantly working to further his education and helps others feel educated as well! It was a breath of fresh air as a new parent to feel like our doctor not only cared about my infant, but me as the parent as well. The rest of the staff is just as amazing as Dr. Rez and everyone was so kind and patient. Before coming to this office I was convinced that I would bring my child to the pediatric dentist I saw as a child (whom I adored), but after my experience here I don’t want my baby or anyone else I love going anywhere else. Experiencia negativa: I have two children and our previous dentist was a bit of a drive from the home we bought. I did some research and came across Islands Pediatric Dentistry. They were a lot closer to us, friendly when making the appointment, and had a high rating based on reviews. The office was clean and the staff was friendly. The doctor came in and the first one up was my almost 4 year old. He opened his mouth and within literally seconds the doctor started asking questions about his eating, speech, and so on. He told me he is lip and tongue tied, quite badly. He recommended having his ties revised. The only problem is that my son had his lip and tongue ties revised at 9 days old. They were done incompletely so we saw a second, more highly recommended specialist and she revised his lip and tongue again at 9 weeks old. We followed up with her several times over the course of his 1st year and his ties always looked great. Our previous dentist was the one who did it at 9 days old (incomplete) and even at his previous dentist appointments she said his tongue looked great. My son has always been advanced in his speech (not just saying that, the pediatrician did), has no eating problems, and the only "picky" eating he has is that he's 4 years old and at times won't try new things... but he has no issues with textures or anything. I told him that his tongue was revised TWICE and he was still recommending a third revision... I said I'd get a second opinion from someone whose opinion I know I can trust (just saying it was my first time meeting this dentist and while he seemed nice, there's no relationship for trust at the first meeting). When he did the exam for my daughter he didn't mention a tie, but I also told him she was already revised too. During both of their exams he was overly nice and I can tell he was just trying to make the kids comfortable but the language and words he was using was very weird and uncomfortable to me (telling my kids he loved them, calling my son "papa"). This practice has plenty of people who are not uncomfortable with that based on the reviews so I am sure it is just him being a very friendly person. just worth mentioning in case you're someone like me who finds it odd when strangers are super lovey towards your kids and tell them "I love you so much" during an exam. It wasn't my kids 1st time to the dentist and they actually do well so it wasn't like he was comforting a very upset child. ANYWAY - it is also worth mentioning that my son does grind his teeth and the doctor said that was due to the tongue tie and that it was because his brain wasn't getting enough oxygen so the grinding was his brains way of getting his body to wake enough to breathe... the things he said surrounding that definitely freaked me out which is why I reached out to get a second opinion and I even told them what he said and while they said a tongue tie COULD cause that, it's less likely the issue. I'm only writing this review too because earlier this week I was in a group on FB and a poster was asking for pediatric dentist recommendations. In her post she said she went to Islands Pediatric Dentistry and that her 4 year old was grinding her teeth, was told it was due to a tongue tie, and had it revised... she said it had been 2 months since the revision and her daughter was still grinding so she wanted to get another opinion. My heart sank because reading her post - that could've been us. I would've been so upset if we did a THIRD revision on my son only for it to not do a darn thing. I don't want to deter people from trusting this doctor because I know that tongue and lip ties are 100% an issue... I just really can't recommend them to anyone in good faith based on my experience. Office staff did call and text several times to set it up but I just ignored it and they never bothered me after 2-3 times. Like I said, the staff was friendly, the office was clean, the doctor was nice... just wasn't a fit for us. We will continue making the drive to our previous dentist because she's worth it. We took him back to get a procedure done, and everything went fabulous! Dr. Rez and Dr. Singh are great! Would recommend to anyone!

The front desk staff are amazing at scheduling and keeping you informed on how to prepare for your visit. Dr Rez is amazing with the kids and keeping them calm! Thank you to this amazing office!

Experiencia negativa: EDIT : As you can see I used to be very pleased with the office. Unfortunately the service has degraded to the point that I'll be taking my kids elsewhere. The front office staff is horrendous and unhelpful. They're incredibly rude and lie straight to your face when you're in office. I imagine with the extreme lack of service now happening this office won't be open much longer. It's sad when competent doctors hire incompetent staff and it destroys their business. Definitely DO NOT recommend, especially if you're a busy, working single mom with special needs kids. This office just doesn't care about the kids anymore. We recently started seeing Dr. Rez and both me and my son are very pleased. My son has special needs and has lots of sensory issues. The staff was extremely patient with him. They talked him through everything but what was impressive is how they talked him through it. They weren't short with him or dismissive because he's a child. They made sure he was completely comfortable with what was going on. Dr. Rez was fast and efficient but not so much that we felt rushed out of the office. We were able to talk about my son's previous dental history and what we should be expecting in the coming months. Overall, it was a great experience. I'm so glad we decided to start going here.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a pediatric nurse and work with pediatricians daily. I was extremely impressed with the gentle and kind demeanor of all of the staff members, particularly Dr. Rez. They all truly know how to work well with children. My daughter felt safe during a difficult procedure, and I felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands. I am very impressed and highly recommended this office.

We have several children who see Dr. Rez and one of my sons has significant anxiety when it comes dental work. The staff was amazing during his hour and a half procedure and Dr. Rez was so compassionate throughout the whole thing. We’ve recently moved over an hour away but will continue to commute to Gilbert to see Dr. Rez and his awesome staff, because they’re just that good.

From the girls up front to the staff in the back everyone was phenomenal and I have high expectations since I used to work in the dental field before moving to AZ recently. We referred for an extraction from another office and Dr.Rez was amazing and has such a beautiful soul not only did he help my son but our family was blessed as well. We got to the car and my son said mommy are you sure my tooth is gone, I didn't feel anything! I highly recommend you taking your children to this wonderful office, you will not regret it, I PROMISE!

The entire staff is friendly, competent and always makes my little one feel special. We have had a couple of bigger procedures done and had a wonderful experience both times. Dr Rez is very professional, compassionate, patient and always takes the time to explain what he’s doing (to both parents and kids). The office atmosphere is also very fun (my daughter is a big fan of the TV on the ceiling!). We would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Islands Pediatric Dentistry is a phenomenal dentist's office. I brought my son and daughter in for limited exams. Due to Dr. Rez's thorough examination, it was discovered that my two children (ages 7 and 10) had a wide range of problems with their teeth that, much to my dismay, went undocumented by their previous dentist office. Both of my children required a very intense, extensive treatment plan and Dr. Rez and his crew delivered the highest quality care and service that I have ever witnessed. My children felt extremely safe and comfortable throughout the procedure, and my 10-year-old son reported that he loved the fact that Dr. Rez told the truth. I am excited to bring my two younger children, 3 and 5, in the future. Keep up the quality work Dr. Rez and company!

Experiencia fantástica: I took my 2 year old here to get a lip and tongue tie revision. They were fantastic! We've tried so many things to help him and this finally worked! He's really not a fan of doctor's offices and was pretty upset, but the whole staff from the dentist himself to the receptionists were so patient with him. If you think your little one may have a lip or tongue tie, I would absolutely recommend bringing them here.

Experiencia fantástica: It was my 5 year olds very first dental visit, and I am so happy that we chose Island Pediatrics, and that we were accommodated by Dr. Rez. Such an excellent doctor, because the experience could not have been more comfortable and relaxing. He made me feel relaxed and at ease, and my child was very comfortable with all the treatments he had. And we had a lot, because my sons case was pretty bad. Dr. Rez was very understanding and kind, and treated my child as if it was his own. My son is now able to rest peacefully at night because all the bad teeth had been taken care of, and his speech is much better with the tongue tie surgery by Dr. Rez. All these surgeries were done at once, and although I was scared before the whole operation, I was at ease during the whole operation. I was absolutely grateful and very impressed by his work, as well as his whole staff. Very friendly and professional atmosphere. I recommend Island Pediatrics and Dr. Rez and his staff to any parent out there that wants the best for their child, and peace of mind. He’s an excellent doctor, with an excellent staff, and you won’t be disappointed.

Experiencia fantástica: My 3 year old had to have a few baby root canals by Dr. Rez back in May. I was pretty nervous as he needed to go under. Dr. Rez and his staff helped me be as comfortable and confident as I could be. They took awesome care of my baby. Today we had a check up and everything was good to go. So glad I found him, and my son loves him. He’s so gentle and speaks very kind to the kids. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel like family as soon as you walk through the door!

Experiencia negativa: I was referred to this dentist office by a relative and immediately I was drawn to it. I liked the way it smelled and how comforting it felt when you walked in. Dr Rez and his whole team did a great job in making my two little ones comfortable by explaining the different tools to them and explaining to them what is going to be done but of course in a friendly non scary way. The front staff was preofessional and very pleasant when making appointments etc. The kids even liked the office and said they preferred this one over another one we were considering. So far we have been impressed, and certainly hope to maintain a great relationship with this office. Update: I don’t like using their office anymore. I brought all three of my kids (12, 7, and 2) in and every single one of them was supposivly having a lip tie issue. And this was when the dentist was heavy advertising that he’s now doing lip tie procedure. I just felt like it was another sales tactic! On top of it he kept telling my two year I love you I love you to calm Her down. It was weird and rubbed me the wrong way.

His reassurance and praise during procedures really makes my girls happy. Couldn’t believe it when he said he didn’t have any children of his own because the man would be an absolutely amazing father. If you want someone that cares about your kids and their health and you want top notch customer service this is the place. Clean, fast, and amazing at what they do. Couldn’t imagine taking my kids anywhere else for all of their dental needs.
