Experiencia negativa: If there was a zero star, I would give them zero star. My mom needs an Oral Surgeon for her teeth extraction. I knew this office because I called my mom's insurance to find out that this office is in-network. I called in 2 weeks before the appointment date to make sure that her insurance was accepted and they really have an Oral surgeon. I confirmed everything and they set an appointment for my mom and we were informed that Oral Surgeon is only available ONCE a month. On appointment date, we went for the service as a new patient then they said they don't have my mom's name on the appointment list and they didn't have an Oral Surgeon available that day. They have general dentist who just takes Oral class. I told them my mom was already pre-medicated for her dental work as she had knees replacement surgery before as I already discussed on phone. They went to ask doctor and we started filling out new patient form. It came out that they couldn't find my mom's insurance is In-Network with them. I asked what should we do as my mom already took 4 antibiotic pills. The office responded if we wanted to do it, we had to pay out of pockets because she couldn't find my mom's information. While I called my mom's insurance on the spot and Insurance said my mom has active Dental Quest and he recommended the office to call Dental Quest, the office lady said she didn't have much time because she was tight and busy. The insurance agent told and convinced her to call but finally she did for us. Then, she found my mom is in net-work. Finally, they have to re-schedule as it's already late for the day (3:40pm). I would say they are really unprofessional, and unhelpful. The information provided was not accurate. I wouldn't go to this office again. I am not sure why this office has good rate but NOT for me. It WASTED my time.

Vinetta is very nice and never try to upsell like most dental places out there. The previous dental office I used for my kids always came up with procedures that is not covered by insurance. So I had to pay a lot out of pocket. Not at Excel Dental. They have not done that even once. So I am grateful to have found a good honest dental office. They also remember my work schedule and automatically schedule my next appointment to a day and time that works without me saying anything. They are the best.

Experiencia negativa: I had my first visit to Excel Dental at the Lowell location, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. My appointment was scheduled for 9:00 AM, and I arrived at 8:30 AM. Upon entering, I attempted to check in at the front desk, but the receptionist instructed me to take a seat without greeting me or asking for my name. After a few minutes, I inquired if she knew who I was, and her response was that she needed to log into the computer. The dental assistant then brought me in to prepare for the doctor, and I mentioned my experience with the receptionist. The assistant acknowledged the situation and apologized for the poor attitude. Overall, the doctor was pleasant.

Experiencia negativa: Me and my gf both decide to go to this place and at first I thought nothing of it but after reading some comments the mouth guards were def pushed on both of us cause we both grind our teeth apparently. I've gone to this place for some years cause I'm not one to hop from place to place but every doctor here is very heavy handed and will not adjust to your complaints. Reason I'm writing this review is because I made an emergency appointment yesterday which I had to cancel today due to unforseen circumstances and was charged a 50$ cancelation fee, which is absolutely fine and understandable. They then notified me that I would no longer be able to make appointments and I would have to walk in and hope they were available. Basically kicking me out for my first ever cancelation in years of going to this location. I dont recommend this place. I should have left when my gf did when they canceled her appointment cause she didn't confirm the last of 50 confirmation texts/calls.

I would have rated the visit 5 stars had the assistant been more prepared for the doctor’s procedure. Perhaps they do not work together often to know the nuances of the doctor’s techniques. From the office crew to the hygienists to the Doctors...so friendly, kind, gentle and caring. The office is very clean and equipment is all state of the art. Crowns, bridges, implants are all done in house. There work is excellent. See for yourself!

Experiencia fantástica: I was beyond nervous coming in to get my wisdom teeth out, but upon arrival the staff were just so friendly and so communicative that I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr.Harry was literally the nicest person ever - he was constantly checking in to see if I needed a break or if the medicine was working. All the while, he very patiently answered all my questions and was exteremly helpful. Not to mention that Ms.Amy was a true joy!! Her friendliness and jokes are what helped transform the experience into a really positive one as they worked together to create a positive and safe environment. For anyone whose on the fence, there truly is no better place!!! 10/10 recommend to all

And when you do get in, Dr. Sharma will push a night guard on you relentlessly, even after you've said no. It's clear she's more interested in making a sale than actually caring for patients. Zero stars. Take your business (and your teeth) elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: I just had my first visit at the Lowell office on Wood St. with Dr. Vineeda Sharma Razdan, She tried to bully me into paying $450.00 today for some day time mouth guards, because she could see some damage to my teeth due to clenching my jaw. she said my insurance wouldn’t cover them. I explained that I didn’t have the money and that I was self conscious about wearing those. I asked if we could move forward with the visit and touch that subject at a later visit, that at this time it wasn’t an option for me. I just wanted to focus on getting the fillings I need, and anything else she wanted discuss about my x-rays. She became agitated with me at this point and said “well you have two options, either you wear a mouth guard, or you continue to destroy your teeth” I told her “I’m now feeling overstimulated and want to change the subject.” She then responded with “listen, let me explain something, if you’re willing to listen.. if you don’t trust me we won’t be able to work together.” I told her “I completely agree, I’d like to see someone else in this office. I’m now uncomfortable and don’t want to work with you moving forward” she said “that’s fine, let me see if anyone is available to see you” two minutes later the receptionist came into the room and told me all the dentist were completely booked and couldn’t see me. That I would have to find another office completely. I made a grievance against that dentist with my insurance and also a request for non payment for my visit since she didn’t do anything besides try to hustle me out of $450.00. STAY AWAY FROM EXCEL DENTAL WOOD ST, LOWELL MA!

Experiencia fantástica: If such fantasy world existed, this is a place where magical tooth fairies roam. I could tell everyone was genuinely happy to work there. The receptionist, the dental assistances, and everyone there were wonderful. They were not putting on a show face for when you’re there. Dr. Swagat Patel has a real compassionate heart, wanting me to go to oral surgeon to take wisdom tooth out when I didn’t want to go. I still prefer to get knock out by Mike Tyson though than get my wisdom tooth taken out. The med he prescribed for me for the swollen gum is working! Now I can close my mouth, breathe through my nostrils, and bite down on food. Dr. Patel’s a real life hero, not all heroes wear capes. Anyway, awesome magical place. Highly recommended. Don’t be afraid to make appointment there

The doctor was extremely knowledgeable, patiently answering all of my questions. I came in for an appointment with my toddler, and the team was so understanding and patient, allowing me to tend to my child when needed. They even offered to distract and play with her so I could get my X-rays done, which was such a huge help. This is truly the best dentist office I have ever been to, and I can’t recommend it enough. Out of all the places I’ve been and the doctors I’ve seen, this one stands out by far!

No matter what is going on, they always provide a listening and empathetic ear. Even though I no longer live nearby, I still go to Excel- it’s a “safe place” that wants to help you as the patient rather than judge or criticize!

Experiencia positiva: Giving 3 stars because I’m still unsure how I feel about my visit. The staff was nice and easy to deal with but the amount of confirmation calls I received was a little excessive especially because if I confirmed it the week before and if you don’t confirm the day of the visit wouldn’t be guaranteed. Every time I have been to the dentist I have always left with a bag of goodies like a toothbrush, floss etc. this place does not do that so if you are expecting that this is not the place for you. I had 3 visits here a visit to take X-rays and give me a treatment plan. I needed a deep cleaning so that had to be broken up into two additional visits. just seemed like a lot of appointments to me since any other time I went to the dentist some work was always done on the first visit. I’m currently not working because I just had a baby and I expressed that the one thing that would be out of pocket I couldn’t do and I felt like I was being pressured to utilize their pay over time services. Overall it was an okay visit but nothing to write home about so make sure you ask questions when scheduling your appointments so you aren’t surprised at time of visit.

Dr. Razdan was honest and up front about treatment options and clearly had my best interest in mind. Experiencia fantástica: The oral surgeon was very friendly and understanding of my fear of having my wisdom tooth removed. He gave me plenty of time to mentally prepare (a reasonable amount of time within my appointment time frame), and he was very quick and smooth with administering the needle to deliver the novacaine. I barely felt anything when he did it, and the whole surgey itself was very smooth, fast, and painless. I really didn't feel any pain at all, and that was my biggest fear which caused me to put off oral surgery for 5 years. I am so glad I came to this place. It was clean, and a great experience overall. Even the staff were very friendly.

Scheduling an appointment was quick and painless, and I was able to come in within 48 hours. Dr. Sharma then helped me put together a thorough treatment plan for other work that needed to be done, all of it has been done well, done quickly, and my experience with Excel has been excellent.

Experiencia fantástica: I went here couple weeks back due to pain in one of my back teeth, come to find out it was badly decayed and needed to be removed and have a bone graft put in so I could get a implant done, I didn’t have the money at the time to do the bone graft so we did a work up and did everything else and once I did have the money saved up we would do the extraction and bone graft. Well yesterday I woke up at 230am with the worst pain because of that tooth so I made an appointment for today and when I got there the dentist asked me if it was with the same tooth and I told her yes and I told her that I only had $450 saved up for the bone graft so I didn’t know what we could do and she told me that she would give me a discount cause she really wanted me to get this done so that I could get the implant and I also really wanted that because I’ve been struggling with my teeth for so long. I had a good experience with this dentist office before this and I just had to share my experience. She is very nice and isn’t pushy and doesn’t tell you what you need to do and it should be done she explains it to you and tells you what the best options are! I would recommend going to see Dr. Razdan!

Experiencia negativa: i went for a cavity filling, for a whole week my face was swollen and bruised. they wouldn’t take me into the office for an emergency visit, they only said that i needed to shave the filling to make my bite leveled. this was a lack of care for me as a patient, when dr saw me a week later, she shaved the tooth and told me my cheek was bruised because i needed a root canal on the tooth behind the cavity they filled along with the tooth they filled. completely dismissed me and made me feel like it was my fault that i was bruised and swollen. she gave me a reference to go to an endodontics and prescribed me an infection medication and advil 800. i went to another dentist who specializes in that as well (Dracut Dental Group) and there was a hole in the cavity filling Excel dental supposedly filled, dr ruben had to redo the cavity excel filled along with the tooth behind it. i did not need any root canals and it’s so unfortunate that i had to go thru pain and miss work because of a neglectful dr. i would not recommend going there and especially bringing children there, they don’t know how to fill cavities correctly, dismiss and misguide their patients.

Dr. Golnazarian explained everything thoroughly, gave me options, gave me time, and was patient and kind. I had two teeth, one of which was a wisdom tooth removed. Very little pain to follow thus far. I do not fear the dentist any longer. Thanks Dr!

My crown fell out from a previous dentist and he refused to cement it back and then tells me to go to CVS and buy some glue to glue my crown myself. He was not only rude to me and raise his voice he was rude to his staff and embarrassed the staff member while the office was full of patients. He is Unprofessional!!! I have never experience this situation before.

I showed up for cleaning/ examination in Am. Even though the kids appointment were scheduled for later in the afternoon they saw us all at once. The dentist and the staff worked well as a team and explained everything. They didn't seem to rush to finish work. But treated people wonderfully well! Pls keep up the good work! Our 6 month follow up went great today -12/23/22. The facility continues to be clean great employees who are friendly and take pride in their work!

So now I have to spend the long weekend in excruciating pain, and I can barely function due to the pain. I don't understand how a dentist is unable to pull a tooth- like isn't that lesson one in dentist school? She was also very nice, but quite useless, and I left in agony and tears because I thought they were going to help me, but they wouldn't. SO I wasted the entire morning for nothing when I could have been at a dentist that would actually help. Wouldn't recommend this place for anything beyond a cleaning as they seemingly lack the skills to do anything else

Experiencia fantástica: I went to this place for the first time and they make me feel like a king, I had 3 dentists around me, after the X-ray the specialist came and explained to everything about my teeth and the treatment plans, he also answered all my questions, and cleaned my teeth without any pain, I would recommend everyone to go to this for any kind of dental work.

Experiencia negativa: I went here today and had the worst experience The doctor had the audacity to scrape at my gums and was telling me too stop eating carbs and drinking soda people struggle with eating disorders The doctor said do you have a problem after I moved away when he hurt my gums and yes I actually do have a problem saying I cannot eat carbs and the foods I enjoy. absolutely disgusting. Experiencia positiva: Went to get my four wisdom teeth removed the staff was nice and friendly. And the procedure was quick, but I wish I didn't have to wait over and hour in the waiting room.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in for four wisdom teeth to be pulled and it went a lot faster than I thought it would. The staff was kind and very informative and the Doctor explained everything every step of the way. I was a bit uneasy about getting my teeth pulled but they put my fears to rest and as a plus there was no pain.

Experiencia fantástica: Let me tell you, I feared going to the dentist SO MUCH that it took me about 6 years to finally see one. I was recommended to come to Excel Dental and I was EXTREMELY skeptical about it since I’ve had so many bad experiences with other dentists in the past from other offices. As soon as I walked in I was hit with so much hospitality. The receptionists were super friendly. I had 2 wisdom teeth that needed to be removed because they were extremely painful. The dentist knew I was scared and started cracking jokes just to make me feel better, but then assured me that I will not have a bad experience and they will remove my teeth pain free. The dentist removed my teeth so fast and so painless that I was still laying there waiting when he told me “ok you’re all set! Now that wasn’t so bad was it?” I and told them “ha, nice try. Come on doctor please finish the procedure so we can get it over with.” He responded “you’re all set! The teeth have been removed!” I couldn’t believe it. These guys are literally the best I’ve ever worked with. If you’re a person like me who fears going to the dentist because of the pain, let me tell you, these guys make it so painless that it literally feels like you’re going for a visit to lay down and relax and enjoy the wonderful company of the staff. It’s truly the best experience I’ve ever had from any dentist. Highly recommended!!!!
