Every member of the team was professional and compassionate and they made the procedures I needed affordable for me. Im still in the process of booking ky extraction procedure but they took immediate action to fix my pain and get my oral hygiene back on track.

Experiencia negativa: June 4 2026 8:45am Aspen Dental Hampton Va called several times back from a woman named Jennifer at 8:45am. I returned her call within 10 minutes but asked her, going forward, to please not call 4x back to back ONLY because of my severe anxiety and I am disabled. My anxiety is disabling. I was very clear on that. I was on an important call. I heard her voicemail and the call was returned within ten minutes. She wanted my insurance information. And that is ok. But it was uploaded to the website, and although I have no problem verbally confirming it, this woman took it upon herself after she apologized and said, “your appointment is cancelled” and to have a good day. When I went for my appointment at approx 9:30am, I was met by Jennifer who was still rude in person, passive aggressive, and rude even in the communication style of telling me to have a seat. I spoke with a woman who said her name was Tammy and was the manager, who stood and grinned at me the entire time, ignored my statements about respecting my personal boundaries and trying not to call 4x within 10 minutes due to being disabled, and said she heard the conversation. I asked her to then play it, because I knew she did not personally have it. She told me Jennifer was right in calling me 4x back to back to confirm by insurance information even though it was in the computer and uploaded by me, to include screenshots of my health insurance cards. She was passive aggressive and smiled and asked if I’d like to be seen. And towards the end, she told me she thought I was rude to her employee. What a sad individual. One of the people you have to pray for to avoid feeling the hate towards her in your own heart, because there is enough in hers. For asking that my right as a disabled person, 100 percent disabled veteran be respected, I was told I no longer had an appointment and a manager thought that was just. When I spoke to their corporate office, an agent by the name of Brian L. documented the case for me, told me his own family doesn’t call 4x back to back, and that he was truly sorry for what happened. That it should not have happened, over the phone and in the office. He stated that she had an obligation to call, but not 4x back to back within 10 minutes. I have a call log showing I did return the call within ten minutes. I made it very clear that the only reason I was saying anything, going forward, was because I have a service connected disability and my anxiety is severe. I made it clear while on the phone I was disabled veteran and I was trying to set my boundaries. The first woman, Jennifer, did not want to hear that. So I repeated it. I was very clear. The manager, Tammy, appeared as if she wanted to laugh, and she never stopped smiling. She never took the complaint seriously. I felt so stressed and humiliated and ashamed, I wanted to kill myself. Seriously. She doesn’t know what effect she had on me. Brian L., the corporate call taker reassured me and told me that my feelings were valid and that the situation was wrong on many levels. My civil rights as a disabled veteran were violated. To cancel my appointment because I stood up for myself and my boundaries is a violation. I wasn’t screaming, I was clear and respectful and I tried not to “reprimand” the woman, that is why I carefully used the phrase, “moving forward,” can you not call me back to back like you did. No respect whatsoever was shown. But my civil rights due to my disability were violated when you cancelled my appointment. Same thing, in the office, my disability did not matter to this manager, Tammy. I read on the wall that if you violate my civil rights due to my disability, and they did, that I should report it. My emergency dental appointment that was booked this morning was cancelled because I asked Jennifer to respect my boundaries by not calling in a harsssing manner “only” because I have an anxiety disorder and I am disabled from it. No one cared and I was discriminated against.

Experiencia fantástica: I have never been to Aspen and they were amazing. The staff was extremely friendly. The woman who did my xrays was patient-I hate having those done? Dr. Michael was very thorough and explained my treatment. The hygenist-I can not remember her name-but she was the absolute best hygenist I have ever had!! She was so thorough in explaining what I needed to do to get my teeth in the best shape!! And finally, Tammy was amazing! She was able to help me get financing for the treatment I need and she was very very helpful and responsive in getting me scheduled in a timely manner. Thank you!!

I had a filling fall out two days before and I was looking for a dentist to fill it quickly. From the time I walked into the door I was treated with professionalism and friendliness. Not only did I get a full exam and Xray's, I was able to come back early afternoon the same day and get the filling replaced, along with a filling right behind that one that I didn't even know was missing until they showed me. I now have a new dental provider; Aspen Dental in Hampton!!

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled an appointment In pain because of tooth chipping or decay idk I told them it was an emergency and I wanted a deep cleaning to get things over with … all I got was an exam and hygienist review NO REPAIR left still in pain i was there from 130-530 still in pain , they said I needed an tooth extraction and cleaning which would total 9000.00+ STILL IN PAIN they would not do it the same day the lady was nice but the services and pricing is crazy I went to another family owned dentist yesterday and got a cleaning and crown for 320 after my insurance coverage 320 vs 9000+ is crazy

Experiencia negativa: I had 5 or so appointments here. They all began about 30 minutes late each time, causing me to reschedule/ miss other commitments. The office told me I needed to pay $30 to get my fillings, then billed me for $1300. When I asked for a copy of the quote they said I signed to be sent to me, they never did. The assistants and hygienists I dealt with were lovely, so I can’t give a 1 star.

Experiencia negativa: I apologize for being a bit late in posting this. I went to Aspen for dentures. My first experience was with the front office staff who were not only rude, but it was clear that they genuinely hated their job and were annoyed by people who walked through the door. I had two insurances at the time one that had a network and one without. They absolutely refused to entertain the no network insurance even though it actually reimbursed at a higher rate. This was an ongoing argument. With that said the clinical staff were amazing and professional. Once you entered the door to the back it was a total night and day difference in treatment. The doctor and all the assistants were competent and personable. On my final visit I was told I had a balance and once again offered that they bill the second insurance. I was told not to worry about it and that I would most likely not pay it and it would go to collections. That was the last time I went and unless absolutely necessary I probably won't. The disgruntled office staff ruined it for me.

Well after calling and calling had to tell the lady the date and time she gave wont work gave her my availability and she still tells me when can you come im like I gave you my availability. Then she rescheduled the appt and ends the call with have the balance paid before or with you at time of service. Man it took alot for me not to cuss her out. I called NN location explained and stated heck I will go back to basic just to leave them.

Experiencia negativa: I have appointment last Thursday with Aspen Dentist on Mercury Blvd in Hampton Va . I had an appointment for a deep scaling for the right side and she also touched up on the left side that was done back in June 2025. The second part of my appointment was to see the dentist. I had two cavities in my two front teeth. The dentist came in and the procedure when I left the dentist office. Of course I was numb. That’s normal after the ominous were off. I thought my upper lip was still swollen. It was not my two front teeth was now proceeding out outward the lining on my front teeth have been otter. the dentist brought my two front teeth out now they were sticking out and it was how to close I’m very upset by this very disturbed at this thing did this she did a very poor job. My teeth has discoloration to the side teeth now has discoloration and I can still see the cavity between my two front teeth. I called the dentist office back on Mercury Boulevard in Hampton, Virginia talk with the office manager not Customer Service was there. She went to tell me she talked with the dentist and the dentist asked me with everything OK when I laugh when I left the dentist office please know my mouth was numb. I could not feel my awful level. I did not realize the hours later. My two front teeth were protruding outward and I have a lot of discomfort in my teeth now I’m taking a lot of Tylenol three at a time to control my pain, which is really not being controlled again. The office manager was no help. No one followed up with me. That was last Thursday today’s Monday new week. I went back into the office today, which is Monday. I got the number for the corporate office, which was really not the corporate office. I called the number I talk with somebody. I gave them a complaint. No one has followed up. Maybe it’s too soon. I will say to anyone before you go to this practice. Please do your research on aspect in it. Talk with the dentist before they do work on you find out how long they’ve been doing this work again I went in because I had two cavities in my two front teeth, which is bothering me very much cause I was very self-conscious about this. I didn’t like to smile. I still have the two Cavities in my two front teeth. My two front teeth, nail stick out in a more self-conscious in the left side. I am in discomfort of in pain. The sad part is no customer service. No follow up to check to see how the patient was doing. Any concerns how can we get this resolved? I will get my teeth fixed by another dentist and I know we have to take this to court to get my money back and I’m also gonna file a language with a better business role. Please do your research go online read the Before you go to this location or to any dentist when you pay your hard, earned money to get work done for this You have a right to get what you paid for and customer services key in any business again this work was done last Thursday. No one followed up with me Friday say Mrs. Al How are you doing? Nothing I find that very disturbing. I will do my research to find out how to get my money back and that file official complaint. I urge you be careful in going to this location. Do you research do this for yourself? I wouldn’t therefore a simple procedure to have two cavities fixed now my teeth stick out in my front teeth on the left side in a lot of pain the lady that I spoke to today when I went into the office was very kind. But that does not fix the problem. Please be careful of this location.

Experiencia negativa: Aspen Dental should be investigated. I switched from the Suffolk, VA office when Dr. Tyson cursed me out in front of an office full of patients because his office manager charged me for a bite guard that I paid for, and I insisted that the error be corrected. However, although I moved to the Hampton, VA office, I had to watch every transaction. Then, I go in to get a crown re-cemented; when I told the dentist that the bite was good, she drilled on it some more, so when it was X-rayed, there was a mysterious hole that prevented it, and I was told that a $1500 new crown was needed. Then, I go for that appointment and was told, a cavity had appeared under the old crown, and I would have to have that fixed, or need a root canal, or any extraction, if the crown was not possible! When I explained that I had already contacted the insurance with my concerns and nobody showed me an X-ray with the mysterious cavity, I was told that all of the previous appointments would be refunded, and I was referred to a “crown specialist.” WHAT?!!! Watch and question everything because they are skeptical! Leona

First of all I was greeted with a smile by young lady at the front desk she helped assist me with the tablet and preparing for my consultation prior to the after me going to going through the confrontation I met Troy, which was so delightful she is so delightful she made me laugh and I forgot about that I didn't like the dentist office and then after that was done I met another the dentist is that her name and she was just like her and then at the end of it all that's who I ran into I'll say the best for life and her name was ayanna all the staff there was great if you wanted to ever go to a dentist and if you don't like this come here and I guarantee you you will love it have a blessed day thank you again Aspen clinic for making me feel like family be blessed.
