Experiencia positiva: I was a patient at Rana Dental for over 15 years. While the staff is friendly, I consistently experienced issues with billing and upselling of services. On more than one occasion, my crown procedures were billed incorrectly, and I had to dispute charges to get them corrected. Rana Dental is listed as a “premier provider” with my insurance, which allows them to charge higher rates than standard in-network providers. During my last visit, after being numbed, I was told I needed an additional crown and agreed to the procedure. At checkout, I was presented with a bill that was $1,000 more than I expected. I paid, but I was not given an itemized receipt and had to call multiple times to obtain one. After review, the office refunded me $900 due to errors. While the office is modern and offers many amenities, the costs and repeated billing problems led me to find another dentist. Patients should be aware of potential overcharges and the importance of requesting detailed receipts.

They take great care of my teeth, offering specialized solutions without the pressure or sales-driven tactics that I’ve experienced elsewhere. Experiencia fantástica: I had my first visit with Dr. Rana’s team today after a chunk of one of my teeth unexpectedly broke off. I haven’t been to the dentist in years, and after pregnancy and breastfeeding, my teeth have really been struggling. From the moment I walked in, the entire team was so kind, welcoming, and considerate. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, informed, and at ease. Their exam was incredibly thorough—every tooth was carefully checked, and they used a wide range of advanced equipment to make sure nothing was missed. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of care they provide. The only downside was that I was hoping to have my broken tooth treated the same day, but they weren’t able to fit it in and offered me appointments for the following week. That was a little upsetting at first, just out of worry that things might get worse. I considered reaching out to other offices for a second opinion—but not even an hour later, they called me back and said they were able to move things around and get me in the very next day. I was so relieved and grateful. This office may be a little more on the expensive side, but it’s absolutely worth it for the level of care, attention, and professionalism they bring. I genuinely trust that I’m in good hands here, and that means everything.

Experiencia fantástica: Saw Vivian for my cleaning today. She was kind, personable, and caring. She took great care cleaning my teeth and checking on me multiple times to make sure I was comfortable. She offered me items off their ‘comfort menu’, which was appreciated. There was also a new lady (at least since my last visit) working the checkout who was happy with a positive attitude! Loved seeing a couple new faces today! March 2024 visit: We saw Tina for a cleaning today. She is always so great with my daughter. I love that my 7 year old gets so excited every time she goes to the dentist. Also got to meet Michael for the first time and he’s just as amazing! He was patient while taking photos and X-rays. Love that he talks directly to my daughter when asking questions instead of just getting mom’s answers. The entire team at this office is truly special. I’m thankful we have a dentist the entire family loves! July 2025 visit: Had a phenomenal experience with Sharon for my cleaning today. She is highly skilled and so knowledgeable! Talked to me like we’ve been friends for 20 years! She also has some unique techniques in her cleaning methods that seem very effective. A nice bonus is she has an Amazon list of products she recommends for her patients!

Experiencia negativa: So in 2019 my daughter was a patient with Dr. Rana. We had transfered her to another dental office due to a rare issue with one of her teeth that she needed a specialist for. My daughter is now an adult and wanted to return as a patient to Dr. Rana was scheduled and then called by the staff and let her know that she is no longer able to be seen there due to her parents transferring her to a different dentist. The facts are that my oldest daughter worked in her office for 6 years and after they parted ways some years back she is now retaliating against my younger daughter. This is so wrong to deny my younger daughter the opportunity to help her with her dental needs because of Dr. Rana's petty grudge against her older sister. THIS SHOWS HORRIBLE INTEGRITY!!!! She has shown the actual care for the patients isnt there.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently underwent a transformative dental experience with Dr. Rana and Dr. K, and I couldn't be more grateful for their expertise and care. Due to my bite issues and acid reflux, my teeth had become severely worn—thinning and chipping over time. It reached a point where I needed crowns on all my teeth. However, my bite was so misaligned that there wasn't enough space to place the crowns properly. Dr. Rana first addressed my bite with Invisalign treatment, creating the necessary room for the restorations. Then Dr. K meticulously planned the entire case for crowns. Yesterday, I underwent the crown procedure under sedation. The process lasted 8 hours, but Dr. K and her amazing team, Tally and Sam, made the experience incredibly smooth and comfortable. They were professional, caring, and attentive throughout the entire procedure. To my surprise, it was completely painless! The post-op instructions were clear and easy to follow, giving me confidence in my recovery process. I currently have temporary crowns, but I can already see the remarkable difference. Thanks to the immaculate planning and skill of Dr. Rana, Dr. K, and their team, I am truly excited for my new, healthy smile. I am confident that the final results will be nothing short of amazing. For anyone facing complex dental issues, I highly recommend giving Dr. Rana and Dr. K the opportunity to take care of your dental needs. Experiencia negativa: First off, I will say that everyone at Rana dental is very kind and welcoming. With that said, I would never recommend going to Rana Dental for treatment. I do not write this review lightly, or without great thought. I feel the need to write this review so people have the knowledge to make an informed choice. I have always been fortunate to have very healthy teeth. After moving to the area I had found Rana Dental, and believed that I had found a trustworthy dentist. I no longer believe that. They found more problems with my teeth than all the other dentists I have had added up throughout my entire life. I was presented with a plan which included new fillings, replaced old fillings, and orthodontia work (my smile is BEAUTIFUL, but should my bite continue on, my teeth will erode to the point of no return). I had braces when I was a teenager which of course was a long time ago, and had no intention of going through that again. However, I was told that all of this work was necessary to preserve my teeth, and was presented with a quote which totaled close to $20,000. I was preparing to move out of state, but was told that I could continue my treatment with the office, and would just need to schedule my appointments when I visited. I will be honest that fear of my healthy teeth becoming damaged did get the better of me, and I asked what was the most crucial at that point before I moved. We scheduled two old fillings to be replaced at one visit approximately a week and a half before I moved. I remember after the old fillings were drilled, I felt the holes in the teeth, and commented on how deep they felt. My teeth were immediately sensitive after the new fillings, and I went back to the office after a few days. The gentleman dentist (can't remember his name) did an adjustment, and said this should help. I moved away, and my teeth continued to go from sensitive to painful. I endured through the holidays using sensitive toothpaste, and hoped that the problem would miraculously go away. When it didn't, I was fortunate enough to find a wonderful (conservative) dentist. Sparing all the details, but four months of horrible pain and sensitivity, approximate $2,000 out of pocket when I add in what I paid Dr. Rana for what she charged for the "needed filling replacements", pain treatment, a root canal and crown on one tooth, and the other tooth is now being watched which only time will tell if that one was drilled too close to the nerve too. Do I now believe that the old fillings should have been replaced? No, I don't. Did I authorize it? Yes, I did because I trusted Dr. Rana. Did she play on my fears? Well, that's a good question. Do all dentists believe that old fillings need to be replaced? I guess each dentist has their own opinion. In my research and discussions, I have now learned caution should be given, and that old fillings don't necessarily need to be replaced unless there are issues. Consider the old adage "If it's not broke, don't fix it." I prefer a dentist that is more cautious, and until Dr. Rana, have been able to be under the care of one. I understand that every time you disturb the tooth, you take a chance of infection or causing additional issues. I am the proof of that. I have a few fillings, not many. As I said, I have very healthy teeth. I have never had an issue with any of my old fillings, so why I let Dr. Rana talk me into replacing the old fillings is beyond me. It is a lesson learned. I hope by writing this review it helps someone give thought before they make a decision they might regret. It is a decision that may cost someone a lot of pain, and money. I have contacted Dr. Rana, and let her know what happened. I told her that I believe that she owes me a refund and the reimbursement for the procedure. She denies this, and stands by her diagnosis. Everyone has the right to make choices for what is best for their bodies, including their dental health. I would advise anyone to get second opinions before you spend the kind of money that this office quotes for their recommendations.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Rana was on vacation at the time so I saw an associate and had a filling and crown placed same day. The crown has a gap and is not flush with the adjacent tooth structure. The buccal side of the filling is not smooth either. I know I will have to have both replaced and lose more tooth structure.

She really took her time and gave me a lot of advice on how to take care of my teeth and gums. The assistant Sergio had a welcoming and warm presence that made me feel at ease as soon as I walked in.

Experiencia negativa: I don't know how this place has hundreds of 5-star reviews. My experience with Dr. Rana and their techs has been great but the front desk staff is terrible at scheduling. My second appointment was cancelled and rescheduled last minute three times and I was beyond frustrated. I decided to give them another chance and scheduled my third appointment. I called one business day before the appointment to confirm but when I showed up, they say I am not on the calendar. I have now taken time off of work to drive to an appointment that was confirmed day before. It is not one person in the office but multiple that have messed up my appointment on numerous occasions. I will not be going back. I am very disappointed with the organization of their staff.

My diagnosis was other than I expected, and made great sense to me. I'm now on the way to resolving some old issues with TMJ, and it was discovered that I had two extra small cavities to fix. They is high-tech equipment to clean your teeth and have other accommodations to keep your teeth clean like the bacterial Lazer treatment.

They were very concerned about my comfort level every step of the way and layed out a detailed treatment plan at the end of my appointment. I definitely recommend this practice to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I showed up to get a crown done but after a second look by Dr. Rana, she decided we could get away with a couple of fillings instead. I appreciate that she didn't move forward with the planned crown when it wasn't needed. I got to spend a lot less time there than I expected and was charged a lot less money as well. Iris, her new assistant, was excellent. They have a great rapport and made me feel very comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: Michael, my hygienist, was excellent, however, you have to warm up to him. He communicated effectively (plain speak, clearly) about every step of the process with my cleaning/x-rays. He explains things clearly, but at times his communication style can come across as short and rude. He is definitely not neither, so warm up to him and you will have an excellent experience. He will ask all the pertinent questions to ensure you are properly cared for during your visit. All issues with my teeth were explained thoroughly (why, what and how to address). Michael’s performance (laser bacterial reduction, X-rays and cleaning) was excellent. Again, he is direct, but not in a rude way. Also, he was very knowledgeable of potential issues (bone loss, etc). Thanks and keep up the great work.

They really prioritize individual patient care, comfort, and explaining everything they’re doing. They are kind and attentive and truly care about their patients. I called for an urgent appointment and they got me in that day. They did everything they could to make me feel at ease. He and the assistant did a wonderful job making sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment and explained each step of the procedure to me. Dr. Kavin was very gentle and did and excellent job!

Experiencia fantástica: I have always been afraid of going to the dentist but completely trust and feel comfortable at Rana dental. I had a teeth cleaning and a cavity taken care of and a brand new tooth cap, they make the tooth in house so they don't have to send away for it :) The technology they have here is amazing. They have this laser machine that does amazing things pain free. They explain everything to you in detail and show you pictures of everything that is going on in your mouth during the process. I just have never felt so safe and taken care of at any other place. They are affordable, top of the line skills and technology. I wouldn't try any other place. Experiencia fantástica: I haven’t been to the dentist for years. I got some scans from Dr. Rana and then scheduled my cleaning. This team easily tossed aside my anxiety and any fears I had, made me as comfortable as possible, and walked me through the process. Tina, who took me for my cleaning, is a gem of a human and told me some comforts that were offered (neck pillow, blanket, etc), and gave me a way to communicate my needs for break while still checking in every so often while cleaning my teeth (thoroughly, she’s basically a magician).

Experiencia fantástica: I had several of my teeth done for surface anterior and didnt feel a pinch when Dr. Kavin Patel was injecting numb shot into my gums. I get nervous with needles but he did a nice job and the process was quick and pleasant. The assistant with tall, blond hair gentlemen was knowledgable and assisted Dr. Patel very well, (sorry couldn't remember the name). Again, Rana Dental staff makes me feel at ease on every visit.
