Experiencia negativa: My experience at Comfort Dental with Dr G and the hygienist, Kerry, were great! I broke a tooth and needed to come in asap and they got me in the next day. Dr G is knowledgeable of TMJ and made the examine as comfortable as possible and gave me options so I could choose what works best for me. When returning for a cleaning, I was anxious because of my allergies, but Kerry worked with me in the best way I could imagine. Being mindful and listening to my needs. They worked with me to give me the care I needed and compassion for my conditions. This is, unfortunately, unusual in most medical and dental practices. I highly recommend them! EDIT 2/23/26 Every time I go into the office I get a migraine. The overwhelming amount of air fresheners and fragrance is awful. The plug ins are squirting out fragrance every couple of minutes. Plus the music is always way so loud that I have to practically yell for them to be able to hear me when I check in. The last time I went in there was about a week after a snowstorm and they did not have a pathway shoveled to their door. I had to climb over a huge mound of snow to get in. Dr G is no longer with them. Which is unfortunate. Kerry is still great with my allergies. Even though I always schedule with her, they tried to put me with someone else last time and I had to push to be treated by Kerry. I love my hygienist, but I will not be returning. This last time was the most inaccessible visit to any medical treatment I've ever experienced. It took me 3 days to recover from all the fragrance, plus I had to wash my jacket 3 times to get the smell out.

Love the treatment today also from the front desk to the staff on the office .lysbet ,Manuela and the other lady always welcome you with a smile and office very clean I even got the wall spray they have for the smell in the office .

From when I walked through the door the space itself both the music playing to the actual decor are designed to soothe and comfort .the people at the front desk. were courteous and professional I had a difficul time understanding them due to a hearing loss on my part but they were very patient and kind and extremely professional the young woman assisting the doctor who's name I tried desperately not to forget (but I did and I apologize perfusly)was one of the most pleasant people I've encountered in some time even worker's who were not dealing with me directly made eye contact with smile's on there faces as for DR .Sanchez herself she took the time to explain everything in detail and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable . after sharing with her something I had in common with her son (singing)she shared a little bit about him and even played him singing in the background nothing could have put me more at ease I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning for any and all procedures.GOD Bless each and everyone in this establishment thank you so very much.

Experiencia negativa: I went to Comfort Dental after a bad experience at another dentist who tried to convince me I had a cavity I didn’t. Unfortunately, this place gave me the same vibe. I booked my appointment through their AI system, which was fine, but then the office called a few days before to move the time. I was supposed to get a cleaning and consultation, so I adjusted and went in. The hygienist was great — super kind and said my teeth looked excellent. She mentioned one tiny cavity and some gaps from not wearing my retainers, plus that they offer Invisalign. All good. But then I learned the doctor wasn’t even in the office that day, so I had to schedule another appointment just to get the exam and filling. Fast-forward a week: I arrived after confirming through their text system, only to be told my appointment was actually for the following week and the system “messed up.” Second scheduling issue in a row. I finally went back the next week. The hygienist barely spoke two words and didn’t explain anything, then started taking photos even though I had X-rays done already. The doctor came in, glanced at my teeth for maybe two seconds, and suddenly I “needed” a root canal, a filling, and Invisalign. This was shocking considering the hygienist two weeks earlier said nothing close to that. The doctor immediately launched into a sales pitch — Invisalign, promos, lines of credit, monthly payments, the whole thing — without letting me speak. Before I could respond, they walked me to an office and asked for my ID. I assumed they were checking insurance, but I watched them pull up a banking site and start applying for a credit card I never agreed to. The entire thing felt incredibly pushy. I finally spoke up and said I wasn’t moving forward with Invisalign or any financing. Their tone changed instantly. They asked if I wanted to do the root canal (which magically became a crown) and filling “today.” I agreed to the filling since insurance covers it, but they came back and said never mind — they wanted me to come back after verifying insurance. My wife and I work in insurance. We know exactly what our plan covers. This just felt like they were trying to overcharge the insurance and get me into a line of credit for their kickbacks. Overall, I will not be returning. Between the scheduling issues, the aggressive Invisalign push, and the doctor’s attitude after I declined, the whole place felt shady. The fact that the doctor also runs a lip injection “beauty bar” next door and keeps a Peloton in the exam room says it all. Something is off here, and honestly, the RI State Board should take a look.

Experiencia negativa: My son went in to have a root canal. The doc saw a small infection but continued with the procedure. Had crown put on right after. Everything looked great but 2 days later he woke up to his whole left side of his face swollen and pain has not gone away. Called on call to have someone contact us. Messages left back and forth with service that his situation was worsening with absolutely no call back with them putting it in as serious to reply to us. Spending my Saturday night in the hospital ER and staff here shaking their heads. They took one look at his face and rushed us right in. An abscess was seen and seeing pediatric tooth doctor. If they called back he could have been prescribed an antibiotic and most likely this would have been avoided. Shame on them!!! Never will I have anyone I know go to this place ! So unprofessional and unnecessary this all was.

Next having to wait an hour and thirty minutes “twice” after I was rescheduled for the first appointment and left both times after they told me I’d be seen in 5mins just sad. The expertise of the X-ray revealed that my tooth due to a prior filling had cracked my tooth all the way down, and a root canal would not be advised. I agreed. Follow up appointment with the surgeon today to extract my tooth with the surgeon on staff. The collaboration is on point THE Ladies that work here are very in tune and diligent with their services Professional, Respectful, knowledgeable and accommodating the client needs is top priority for them. Experiencia negativa: I had an emergency root canal done at Comfort Dental in 2023. At the time, I trusted the work was done correctly. Unfortunately, I recently started experiencing pain around that same tooth and went to my new general dentist for further evaluation. After a 3D scan, I was told that the tooth has a fracture and is beyond saving. Now, I have no choice but to have it removed and replaced with a dental implant — a procedure that is very costly and something I never expected to go through after already investing in a root canal. I am extremely disappointed that the work done at Comfort Dental ultimately failed and has led to an even bigger dental and financial burden for me. A root canal should preserve a tooth, not lead to extraction within such a short period of time. I would advise anyone considering treatment here to be cautious and seek a second opinion.

It’s been tough because not many Dentists take our insurance so my kids who have ADHD and Anxiety have had a real rough time trusting dentist and staying at the same practice and feeling comfortable. They are feeling comfortable now and Yesterday we received a letter stating their Dentist is not taking our Dental plan yet again. He went there on Monday to have a cavity filled and they never told me he was not covered by his Dentist at of the first of the month. Gggrrr. I better not get a bill. I did look up more covered dentist and they do have a few more dentist in their practice that takes their insurance. So we hope there will be a smooth transition. Over all It is very clean and modern and we are always met with a smile.

Experiencia positiva: I called to make an appointment for a root canal, made one very fast. I get here for 9:15 appointment is at 9:30. Didn’t get seen until 10:00, got X-rays taken and then told “Insurance doesn’t cover root canals” (I called and confirmed earlier the day before) I say okay (Being broke) and walking out. I don’t drive so for me it was a 40 dollar round trip to get to the appointment. I get a call ON MY WAY BACK saying “Sorry we actually do cover your root canal can you come back at 12:00?” It’s almost 11:00 already but I say YES. I come back and get seated I was NOT fully numbed for my root canal. I felt the pins and everything happening I was slightly numb but not enough. No suction was used during to process so I choked on my own spit and water coming in. The water spilled all over my shirt and down the back, I do not recommend at all. I am furious. I wanted to edit this: It’s about two years later I need more dental work done. I came back, very pleased! The front desk woman and the doctor who I saw was Extremely kind! It made me feel very welcome and calm. I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name who spoke to me at the front desk but he was very kind! I highly recommend!! Especially if you’re nervous about root canals or even fillings like myself! I believe I quickly met Dr Kaplan! Overjoyed with my experience!
