Experiencia fantástica: July 14, 2025 Dr. Abrams & his Assistant did an excellent job with my two temporary crown/bridges procedures. Dr. Abram’s made sure I was in no pain during the whole process. His assistant was very thoughtful & pleasant in asking if I needed a break & constantly inquiring about my pain level. Dr. Abrams has a very reassuring manner to help explain procedures clearly. I'm very pleasured with my temporary crown/bridges.

Experiencia negativa: The worst Dental Clinic encounter that I've ever had in my life. I called the Dental Clinic 2 weeks in advance to confirm the procedure of my appointment. I was informed that I was to have a simple cleaning. The Dental hygienist left the room to consult the Periodontist on duty ( not the original one for my initial consult) it took a total of 15 minutes before they came back to room. Iwas informed that the basic cleaning couldn't be performed. I had driven 90 miles for nothing. I had received a service that they recommended 3 months prior. I spent 6 months for an initial appointment through Community Care (VA) just to get a routine cleaning. Very unprofessional and grossly inconsiderate encounter.

Experiencia fantástica: I didn't know until I arrived that the anesthesia was a twilight anesthesia and I wouldn't be asleep as I thought. Not a good experience as I heard the drill and the doctor talk to me. Next time I need to be put out all the way. I have a horrible phobia about the dentist which causes me so much anxiety. I got my snap in dentures on Tuesday and I love them!! Dr. Thakkar and Dr. Abramson did a great job overall. I'd see them again and again. Other than having a very hard time getting my new snap in denture out. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone considering oral surgery and snap in dentures.

Experiencia negativa: I had an 8:00 AM cleaning appointment today at Southeastern Dental, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. On Thursday, the office called to remind me of my appointment. During that call, I informed the associate that my insurance had changed and provided all of my updated information. She told me she would verify my out-of-network benefits and call me back with the cost before my appointment. I never received that follow-up call. When I arrived this morning, the woman at the front desk told me I no longer had insurance. I explained that I did have active insurance and had already provided the updated information. She then told me my visit would be “well over $300.” I told her there was no way I would agree to that so she reached our to a coworker to verify coverage. She reached out to a coworker to determine the cost. I even showed her a screenshot from my insurance portal stating that preventive care is covered 100% out-of-network. I was asked to take a seat. At 8:15, I was called back to the front desk and told they would need to cancel my appointment because they still did not have insurance verification. I was offered two alternative appointment times that conflicted with my schedule, and the next available appointment after that was June 29 — four months away. That is essentially skipping a cleaning altogether. While rescheduling, insurance verification finally came through. I asked if I could still be seen since it was only 20 minutes past my appointment time. The front desk associate asked the hygienist, who said no. This situation was not caused by me. Had the office followed up as promised when I provided my updated insurance information, this could have been avoided. I took time off work to be there for my scheduled appointment, only to be turned away due to their lack of follow-through. This was unacceptable and demonstrated very poor customer service.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ashley did my root canal. He and his assistant Jo did an excellent job. From start to finish, he was checking up on me, making sure I was doing alright. And he was explaining in simple terms what he was doing as he went along. I was done in 30 minutes, and I felt very little discomfort thru the entire procedure. An added bonus, Dr. Ashley is a very funny guy!!

I Greatly Appreciate the Care I received - AND, I look forward to my future visit At SE Dental. Deja and the Doctor took time to explain my next steps - To Include The Oral Procedure involved. Scarlett made me feel comfortable from the very beginning of the appointment which I was not looking forward to at my age. They are a great team.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in to have two teeth pulled and both had an abscess. I chose to get put to sleep for the procedure. The staff was excellent and I was treated with dignity. The doctor explained what would take place and gave an estimate of the amount of time it would take. Everything went well and I grateful that I can move on to the next phase of my dental plan.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Southeastern Dental Specialists to remove 4 of my wisdom teeth under anesthesia and I couldn’t have went to a better place. The receptionists were super helpful and welcoming. The assistants were amazing and thorough with all the questions I had, and the doctor Bhushan was amazing. Came in and was ready to work efficiently. The anesthesiologist was also very delightful and make me feel comfortable. Everything was set up and I was told that the IV sedation was going to start and I was out not even 30 seconds after and the next thing I remember is waking up and the procedure was done and they were already coming with the wheel chair to get me out. I got all four wisdom teeth removed with two of them impacted and two not even visible in the mouth yet, and I was done in 45 minutes. My healing process was quick and I didn’t swell the way I thought I was going too. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend anyone close to me to get their wisdom teeth checked out and removed at Southeastern Dental Specialists

Stated she has a student in the room with her which was very attentive. For my husband who doesn’t like to go to the dentist due to 24 years of service in the armed forces and now having t go through so much work being done. He said Beth put it on him but his mouth has never felt so much.

We got there and everyone from the front desk to her procedure room explain everything to me and was very nice. She came around 40 mins later in a daze. The nurse explained to me everything went well. We proceeded to go get her prescription came home after an hour of being home. She ate some applesauce, took her pain meds. She’s complaining of a little bit of pain now but kudos to Dr. Thakkar. Thank you very much.

Experiencia fantástica: I arrived early. I was called back about 10 minutes after my appointment time. It was understandable because it was near the end of the day and some previous appointments may have run a little longer. The dental assistant was very friendly and knowledgeable. The dentist was very personable. Everything was explained well, my questions were answered. When I left the exam room everything was covered, appointment for the procedure, my cost and instructions for the day of the procedure. Unlike my regular dentist office where you have to go back in the waiting room, then be called back to the desk for future appointments and any copays (ridiculous).

We explained that wife works and to schedule appointments through husband and they called and refused to schedule with husband but insisted on inconviencing wife at work. So far they have given zero consideration to our situation.

They were thorough, professional, funny, kind, and the work done itself wasn’t bad. It was a very relaxing experience aside from the sounds of the tools. I was very at ease and it was a very easy procedure. They were very supportive when I was getting the injection of novicane to the roof of my mouth (that part sucked pain wise) not the worst pain in the world. I could do it again if I had to but they were calming and helped me through it and after the numbing was done I was set and ready to rock and roll!! I had a stellar experience!!

Experiencia fantástica: On 12-29-2025, I (Daniel Leen) was referred to the Sotheastern Dental Specialties by Dr. Lee at the DOCS Dental Clinic on Fort Bragg, NC to get a tooth extracted after the crown cracked off on 12-24-2025. From the time I arrived I was professionally welcomed by Melissa at the front desk. From there she talked to DDS Anthony Maioranna who fit time into his busy schedule to assess my issues. One of the staff (Mrs. Teah) who took my X-rays prior to talking to DDS Maioranna and DMD Abramson was also very professional and put me at ease answering any questions I had. After speaking with both doctors and weighing my options on how to fix my multiple issues I left with knowing I'll be getting many dental concerns fixed with a very professional staff. She’s an absolute perfectionist in the best way possible. She takes her time, explains what she’s doing when needed, and makes sure everything is done right, not rushed. You can tell she truly cares about her work and about her patients. On top of that, she keeps the appointment light and comfortable, which makes a huge difference for anyone who doesn’t love dental visits. I’ve left every appointment feeling confident in the care I received and grateful that she was the one working on me and I'll do everything in my power to keep it that way.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly and personal staff including the anesthesiologist which was most excellent at his job and the dentist himself. I was offered a warm blanket. Everything was explained to me step by step. Everyone was very gracious and made me feel at ease about being put under intravenous sedation for the first time in my life and having four teeth surgically removed. LOL He explained to me that the sedation takes approximately 15 seconds to take effect and the next thing I know I'm waking up and the procedure is done and I don't even remember falling asleep. The absolutely best outcome I could have hoped for. Highly recommend!!

The only down side to my visit was the rather matter of fact way I answered when asking if my insurance was accepted. I don't believe the person was purposely being rude, but the way she answered was rather off-putting.

Experiencia negativa: Saw the 4.7 star reviews and thought this place was going to be amazing for my daughter, it was not, the orthodontist sent a referral and told us to call to make an appointment, the lady that made the appointment was nice she confirmed they had the referral and gave us an appt date, the day of consultation the First Lady at the front desk was very rude, she asked for my daughters insurance but tried to run our TRICARE, when I told her that it was not being paid for by TRICARE, then she wanted me to pay a $200 dollar fee and kept acting like I knew about the fee, she was very rude and sarcastic, we waited over an hour and finally had to leave because we were running short on time, I called her orthodontist and told them of the horrible experience, they already knew exactly who I was talking about because other patients have had the same bad experience with the same front desk person, we will not have to return because the doctor is sending us to another place, I usually ask to speak to an office manager but I’m sure they are aware of exactly who we are talking about, I work in the medical field and most times the complaints are never taken serious, people get to be rude to patients and keep their jobs, I will not have me or my family serviced at an establishment that has rude staff especially front desk staff, also the orthodontist office stated that the referral had all the information that was needed so her arguing with me about insurance wasn’t necessary all the information was already provided.

The Doctor was also very polite and welcoming. I feel great knowing he will be performing the root canal. He was honest and I felt heard as well as understood. The staff was so polite from the moment I walked in until I left. All of the documents were electronic and easy to sign. The doctor explained everything clearly and addressed all my questions and concerns. I did not feel rushed at all. My X-ray was on a big screen and could be referenced while discussing the recommendations for care. I was pleased with the service I received and will be back .
