At this point in my life, I’m needing more care just due to aging. Hedgeco has impressed me from the very first visit. I feel that I am receiving world class care! Every person there has been kind, and compassionate. My husband thinks Dr Logue is the best looking dentist we’ve ever had…lol. She is adorable, but honestly, she’s just the best! Her assistant has been fantastic as well. Even the finance gal is so knowledgeable! They make a difficult, stressful, experience the best it can be!

Experiencia fantástica: I have reviewed this practice before, but I felt compelled to do it again. ♥️ I just left getting a cleaning and since my regular hygienist, Jackie, had a scheduling conflict for my appointment next week, they called and asked if I would be able to come today and have Jordan clean my teeth. I was more than happy to accommodate the change. I can’t tell you how many times I have called with some issue I had, and they ALWAYS have worked me in to help me! Jordan is new and said she has been there for 3 months. You would have never known she was new. Very confident, very proficient and a sweet personality. She did my x-rays and cleaning wonderfully and I enjoyed getting to know her. We joked about one test that was new to me, and I called it the 2-3-2 test. That is not its name, but that was my score for all my teeth and I think I passed that test!! Of course I missed catching up with Jackie and I love her so much! I always enjoy seeing my team here at Hedgecoe including my dentist Dr. Logue. She is simply the best dentist I have ever had and it is comforting to know she is taking care of my dental needs. She is so very sweet! In addition, one of my very favorite people there is the office manager, Anne Smith. I love her. What a great person she is and exemplifies the term “Ambassador of First Impressions.” Outstanding customer service is what everyone there delivers—and that starts with leaders of this practice! It's not often you go to the dentist with your kids when they were little (my youngest was 2), they sit on your lap while you get your teeth cleaned and then when you are done they ask if it's their turn! Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love going here! There’s a Dental Hygienist by the name of Jackie, and she is the absolute best at what she does and never fails to make my teeth look/feel flawless! The staff are lovely people and the place is an overall vibe, I suggest!

Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment they asked for my insurance information. I gave it to them. Never once did they mention anything about not being in network with any insurance. After my appointment, I get a letter in the mail saying I owe $410. I contacted somebody that said some of it was covered by the insurance. But what wasn’t covered was around $190. I got off the phone to process how I felt about the situation. Feeling blindsided since I didn’t know upfront I would have to pay out-of-pocket for a cleaning. My insurance covers 100% of cleanings that’s all I got there. Anytime I’ve gone to a doctor or dentist I’ve always been told upfront if I would have to pay something and If they took my insurance. That’s usually said when you’re exchanging insurance information. It’s also in the best interest of the Business as you don’t wanna take anyone that can’t pay. You also want to be upfront so that your patients leave with a good experience. Instead left confused and upset about a bill they weren’t prepared for. I contacted them as a courtesy to say I would not be making the payment since I didn’t find my experience to be transparent. No one mentioned they didn’t take any insurance. I don’t appreciate the way Melissa gaslit the situation. Somehow, I owed 190 but now I owe that +140. Are we just making up prices? If someone had said to me, we don’t take anything in network. I would’ve never gone to this appointment. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that they do tell people upfront. If you forget to tell a patient over the phone and you usually tell your patients. Imagine how I feel that you forgot to tell me. Then imagine how I feel when I’m being told I signed a blue paper that does not mention they don’t take any insurance. AS IT SHOULD. At the very least transparency should be the standard for any business to uphold. I think there’s a lesson for both of us here. Hopefully going forward they’ll be more transparent and conscientious about a patient’s experience and finances. I recorded our conversation and I’m thinking about going public because I wanna know what the people think. Not telling people upfront can make you look like you’re intentionally not telling patients this information. I’m left wondering if this is the case. Update: I contacted my insurance to find out that I was charged $140 for a panoramic x-ray that this dentist office said they would check & make sure it had been long enough since my last one that my insurance would cover it. Never once in that conversation did they mention they weren’t in network with anyone. Nor did they check. Delta dental disagreed with them not disclosing the fact they don’t take any insurance. Delta also said dental office have started to not accept an insurance bc they make more money. I’ve got a lot to say about my experience and I WILL BE GOING PUBLIC AFTER SPEAKING WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND REALIZING I ABSOLUTELY WAS GASLIT BY MELLISSA. IM FINDING MORE SHADY BEHAVIOR FROM THIS PLACE! I WILL BE FILING WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ALSO!!!! BUSINESS NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. TO INSURE PATIENTS ARE FAIRLY BILLED AND NOT TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. I WONDER ONCE I SPEAK OUT IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I traveled 3 hours out of state to see Dr. Hedgecoe. I was greeted by name upon walking in the door even though it was my first visit. We were given a tour of the facility and met the friendly staff and providers on the way to our treatment room. Our hygienist Melissa was thorough and informative. Dr. Hedgecoe spent a copious amount of time with us to ensure we understood all aspects and options of my treatment plan. Scans and x-rays were completed with state-of-the-art technology for immediate results. A restorative dental plan may be daunting and trepidatious but not at Hedgecoe Dentistry. Highly recommend!

From our initial call for information and advice to schedule with a dentist, to our initial visit and checkout, our entire experience was amazing! I learned of this office years ago and thought of them when my fiance wanted an office who could do a cone beam scan of his mouth and teeth. Not too many offices in Fayetteville offer this service. After he checked in with Danielle, Kalia our dental hygienist gave us a tour of the beautiful facility and introduced all staff. Their office was extremely clean and smelled good. Everyone look nice, happy and very professional. The atmosphere was very welcoming and calming. From the paint, decor and office plants, the atmosphere really set a calming vibe for a patient who was already very anxious to be at the dentist. The office and bathrooms were exceptionally clean. They also have machine to create your very own personalized crown on site instead of you teeth being drilled out and crowned weeks later. If you need a permanent crown, they can do it same day! Dr. Barrett and Kalia were very kind, calm, and patient. They did not rush my fiance with any of his concerns. They made him feel like he was their only patient. Dr. Barrett covered all concerns and problem areas and gave him an action plan for what to expect next. He also reviewed cost via a printout before check out. I have never seen any dentist in all my years bother to do this as most docs avoid discussing pricing with patients. They also offered chapstick if needed. These people TRULY CARE. Their customer service was exceptional. At check out Danielle was very reassuring and patient again with questions regarding charges and dental procedures. Everyone is very well informed and educated. We did not leaved feeling unsure or questioning the value of the service or information we received regarding his dental concerns. Trust was definitely built today. This is something hard to come by in any type of medical care now a days, especially in Fayetteville. I have attached some photos of the office. I had a dental emergency with a broken resin veneer right before the holidays and a different local dentist I was currently using wouldn't see me. Not only did Hedgecoe dentistry quickly get me in to be seen (even as a new patient!), but they fixed the broken veneer and made it and my whole smile even better than it was previously. Based on the amazing experience with Dr. Barrett's terrific quality work and expertise and the kindness of the entire staff (including Dr. Hedgecoe, Ms. Margaret, Kalia and team), I have now switched my care to Hedgecoe Dentistry and am highly recommending them to all my military friends needing any sort of cosmetic dentistry or dental care in general.
