Experiencia negativa: The care is fine, but they’ll book 6 months out and then don’t have the courtesy to let you know (even when they know) they’re running AN HOUR late for appointments. People take time off work and have other requirements during the day, like getting kids from school and daycare - it’s outrageous to keep people waiting for so long and when asked, say things like “we had a late start today.” Calling affected patients at least lets people make arrangements or reschedule if they have to.

It’s been 5 years and I’ve never had a bad experience. Now don’t run out to request her I still need to be on her semiannual schedule.

She’s professional, warm, and always goes above and beyond to make sure all of my paperwork is completed and submitted correctly. Her consistency and kindness make every visit smooth. And of course, Dr. Ayema continues to provide excellent care with expertise, compassion and some humor! I can’t say enough about Lane & Associates. Experiencia negativa: We moved to Gray's Creek and changed dentists to Lane & Associates for myself and two kids. On my first visit, I was seen by a hygienist and then the dentist for a cleaning and check. During my cleaning I told the hygienst I had just had my first filling ever the year before but that one of my other teeth was bothering me. At the time of the visit with the dentist, I was informed I now had 5 cavities in different areas of my mouth that needed filling. They scheduled me out over 3 visits for those, never specifying which teeth were being filled where or inquiring to which tooth was filled the year before so I went forward having no idea they planned on fixing the first filling. One month after my last filling appointment I received a bill. Through investigation I discovered that it was due to my insurance denying the claim for the tooth that had been filled the year prior. I attempted 4 times, 3 via phone and once in person, to speak with their finance department about the fraud, waste and abuse of this specific case. About 3 months have passed with my calling the 3rd & 4th time, to receive a text message from a debt collector. I will be relocating my family to a new dentist who is willing to communicate through issues to which no one person is at fault but I will also be sharing my experience whenever it comes up.

I will admit it did take a while upon initial request to get an appointment, I requested in April but the earliest cleaning available to me was December, with a separate appointment for an exam in July. But I got in early on a cancellation, and was able to go in before then. Alex, my hygienist, was a kind, friendly person and chatted with me during my x-rays and cleaning. My cleaning was fast and thorough, which I always appreciate, and my exam by Dr. Opsahl was speedy. She was also very nice and answered all my questions. I'm glad I made it in, and happy to have found a dental office I feel comfortable going to after moving to a new state.

Experiencia negativa: Took my son in for a damaged front tooth. During the initial examination x-rays were taken and we were informed that he might need to have a root canal and a crown done to fix the tooth. A week later we went in for another exam to confirm what treatment needed to be done, x-rays were take and again the Dentist informed us that a root canal would need to completed to save the tooth. Took my son to a different dentist two days later for a second opinion, were informed that Lane and Associates had sent the x-rays from 3 months earlier but not the ones taken within the last week. After new x-rays were taken the Dentist informed us that the was not major damage to the tooth, a root canal was not needed as the nerves within the tooth were fine. Bonding material was added to the end of the tooth to repair and strengthen the tooth, no surgery, no major work was needed to repair the tooth. I asked the front desk at Lane and Associates about sending the incorrect x-ray and was told if they did not send the correct x-ray the other dentist office should have called and informed them, I feel that your incompetence should not be pushed to other people and you should accept that you failed to provide the requested service. Found a new dentist for entire family.
