Ideal Dental as a whole (friendliness and competence of the staff, cleanliness of the whole place, modern equipment, etc) is on another level that other offices just can’t touch. They made me feel so welcome, didn’t allow me to feel self conscious of my own issues and were just simply flat out amazing! I really feel like I got lucky by finding this place. I’ve had issues with my teeth since I’ve been 5 years old and since then I’ve been to more dentists than I care to mention and I don’t see myself going to another dentist in the foreseeable future! I give them 10 stars ⭐️ and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a dentist!

I was provided with alternate choices for my treatment and there was NO pressure from the dentist, Dr. Grewal, to do what he wanted me to do. I was given my options for dental as well as financial and the decision is left up to me. I am quite pleased with this new approach. Experiencia negativa: Highly disappointed. Went to get my wisdom teeth extracted. I went in being told that all my wisdom teeth could be taken out because they were affecting my plan. I get there and he only got one tooth out. Not to mention they do not sedate you so I’m wake for this painful procedure which is ridiculous! Dr.Grewal was friendly but when it came to the procedure it took over 3 hours and half of it was me sitting in pain waiting for them to come back. By the time they finished they didn’t get anymore teeth out , & cut open my gums just to say we couldn’t get it out ! Sent a referral to a place that couldn’t even take me !! So I had to find another dentist office that could sedate and do things right & got all my teeth out. ! Honestly if it wasn’t for Dr. Aviv at the hope mills office I wouldn’t be with ideal dental for as long as I have that’s only because she goes above and beyond and makes time for you. Other than that I’d still have braces getting the run around because they NEVER have an orthodontist & advertised they worked weekends and don’t , so I had to switch to Invisalign. Once my treatment is over with that I’m leaving and never going here again ! Luckily the dentist office that pulled my teeth out right were amazing and I will be switching !

Experiencia negativa: IF YOU LOVE YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS, DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TOOTHLESS AND OUT OF THOUSANDS!!! If you want to get absolutely SCAMMED and possibly have your perfectly fine teeth ruined, Ideal Dental is the perfect place for you! This is long but it needs to be said so other people don’t have the same horror story I do with this absolute CHOP SHOP. Never in my 30+ years have I ever had a cavity, tooth decay, or any other general health issue regarding my mouth. When I went into the office for my regular cleaning, I was a new patient. They said they accepted my insurance and were in network, so my cleaning SHOULD have been $0. To my surprise, my cleaning was hundreds of dollars. They claimed I had gum disease and I needed a special cleaning. Of course I paid it…who wants to have gum disease? I come back and once again I was going to spend hundreds for a “special cleaning” for gum disease…gum disease that I find out, I NEVER EVEN HAD. During this time, I also had a small cavity filled. No big deal. But, as I was chewing gum my filling fell out. My fault! I immediately call and go in, and they claimed they couldn’t fill it again because that tooth was so decayed “it pushed the filling out”. They offered a series of solutions, all of which where thousands upon thousands of dollars. Teeth extraction, crowns, dentures. These verbal suggestions seemed ridiculous for a simple cavity. The dentist came In and looked at my teeth and by just looking at my back molars which are seemingly white with no decay, said he saw so much decay (on teeth that did not even show cavities on my scans) and I would need dentures in the future. I opted for a $12 temporary filling because I couldn’t afford the thousands of dollars of treatment they were pushing hard for me to do, for this newfound extreme decay they apparently saw. The temporary filling was not put in properly and fell out while I was in the parking lot leaving, and the unprofessionalism from the staff with this situation was outstanding-but that is another story. Now. This is what set me off that this was a complete SCAM. My teeth are white. They aren’t loose. My gums are healthy and pink, and I have no foul smelling odor coming from my mouth or any other signs of decay and something felt so WRONG about this place. I immediately switched dentists. At my new dentist, I find out these things: I have no gum disease. I have no tooth decay. I do not need partial dentures, no need for crowns, or any kind of surgical adjacent dental procedures. My only issue? A small hole from where my filling fell out, and that they over drilled the hole which is why the filling kept falling out. Not because of extreme decay, but because of chewing gum and an improper initial filling. I got that problem fixed for a reasonable price at my new dentist and my mouth is now otherwise perfect. Im pretty sure these people are running some kind of insurance scam, if I could give them zero stars I would.

He helped me put a plan together which may bring the bank, but of course I knew it would because of how long it’s been since I’ve been in to see a dentist. He really was so so easy to talk to and I trusted his judgment. I will be back for sure! I left off a star because I was early for my apt at 9:30 and didn’t get seen until almost 10:30 and out at 1130 and no cleaning was involved. They were super busy which I understand but they should never assume anyone can stay for 2 hrs without knowing upfront. I know to schedule first appt only for sure.also, no hygienist on Saturday?! Please note that on your website before people schedule. I do weekend appointments because I work full time days during the week. I definitely can’t commit to 2 hrs unplanned visits during the week.

Experiencia negativa: Don't go here unless you want to get ripped off. I have never had a cavity in my life. I also go to the dentist regularly. Had to switch dentists due to insurance changing and decided to go here. Where they told me I had 8 CAVITIES. This was before even inspecting my teeth. Just purely based off of X-rays and a 3D photo. They told me I would have to get them all filled and could do it the same day. $700 WITH insurance!! Yeah no thanks! Needless to say I went and got a second opinion and paid out of pocket for it. Got all my "cavities" thoroughly checked, X-rays and all...TURNS OUT I HAD NONE! Just staining. Not sure if they are pulling scams or just have no idea what they're doing. Either way if they tell you that you have an absurd amount of cavities...GET A SECOND OPINION.

Experiencia negativa: I had an emergency appointment, due to a broken tooth,last Saturday which I booked online. Needless to say, I got to my appointment 15 minutes early, and sat in the waiting room over 35-40 minutes. Just to get in the back to sit another 35-40 minutes for basically no reason. Nothing was done ,but an X-ray! They wanted me to wait almost 2 weeks for an appointment!!! I booked an emergency appointment for a reason!! I have a broken tooth with an sharp edge. The doctor that saw me is the weekend doctor only. So I asked to be seen by another doctor, I had to wait until the following Monday,which I had to call,to find what the hold up was. And that was a fail as well, because the other doctor said something totally different, and all of sudden my insurance doesn't cover, what she wants to versus what I was told, that could be done!! This place doesn't care , they just want money! So now I am currently looking for a different dental place to get my dang gone tooth fixed. I really wasted my time with this in general, I should have known it was going to be some bs, when I got there and seen how the waiting area was dirty, the coolers with the bottled water was almost empty floor dirty, magazines all over the floor!!!

After calling 5 times the receptionist picks up and rudely say can you hold while I’m assisting my customer that was my confirmation that she was purposely hanging up and avoiding the call due to assisting a customer in office. So unprofessional finally got to speak with someone name “TAJ” who proceeds to tell me I’m not in the system. I have been a customer for a few years so i am definitely in the system. After spelling my name and providing my date of birth a few times and saying i just got a email she “suddenly” find me in the system. If you own a business and want a class on how to treat a customer please go here and learn. They are very attentive to my needs. They fully answer any questions I have. They are really flexible with my schedule since I work nights. There are staff that will come in the room just to speak even if there not the ones treating you. There attention to detail is amazing. And even the billing staff goes out of there way to help. To notch all around and hands down the best dentist I have ever been to. I actually look forward to my appointments. Thank you so much to the doctors and staff at Ideal Dental on Ramsey street.. please if you need Dental work done go here they are amazing. Dr. Mc Michaels is such a lovely person. Experiencia fantástica: My only complaints are asking for a referral takes a long time and it's a shame they no longer take dental discount plans. Other than that they're amazing. My tooth broke and they got to it very quickly. They also keep a good eye on cleaning needs. I got a 3D scan for free and got to keep the file so I can make my own prosthetic theatrical teeth at home with my 3D printer! They have done a very good job of getting to see me during emergencies, like I can't eat, or am in pain, or my temp falls off, which it has done a few times. The lady in charge understands when I literally can not chew/eat, or when I am in pain, and helps to squeeze me in for a quick fix. My husband and I have both needed and still need a lot of work, and the doctors and assistants there are very kind and helpful!
