Experiencia negativa: They're liars and always respond to patient reviews with the same answer, presenting themselves as a good place to go, but the truth is, THEY AREN'T. Look at what they told me—and they did it today, right after I went back to the office looking for improvement—and I left even more dissatisfied. According to Brandon, my two options today were: 1. get an extraction at no cost, and 2. see an endodontist because, according to him, I already have an exposed nerve, and he's sorry, but they can't do anything more. As I understand it, if they treat a nerve and put in a filling, you won't have any problems. But for them, that's not an option. How unprofessional to tell me this now, when they should have done an excellent job from the beginning. If they saw that the nerve was already exposed, why did they put a crown on me only to tell me 15 days later that I need another procedure and have to pay more? Respect the people who come to your office and don't take advantage of their lack of knowledge with prices, service, and deceptions, just to make them pay for additional services that you know you can treat adequately from the first appointment.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience ever. I really think it’s a scam and I left with my gums bleeding I’ve never had anyone stab me multiple times and make me bleed like that. I was also told I can get a single tooth pulled, that they needed to pull multiple teeth at a time. That’s crazy.

Experiencia negativa: I would like to express my gratitude for contacting me regarding my initial visit to the office in Huntsville, Alabama, on February 21, 2026. My appointment involved an examination, X-rays, and an initial cleaning that was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Upon my arrival, I was promptly greeted, which I appreciated. The nurse conducted my examination efficiently, completing it in approximately ten minutes, and she was very accommodating throughout the process. After the X-rays, I was placed in a room where my gums were assessed. The nurse identified a few issues and indicated that I would be prescribed a mouthwash for my use at home. Unfortunately, after her departure, I experienced an extended wait of one hour before I was attended to by a billing representative. The receptionist informed me that I could either return for a cleaning at a later date, given the time I had already spent in the office, or I could undergo the cleaning during my current visit. I opted to remain for the cleaning. During this discussion, the representative indicated that due to supposedly plaque buildup on my permanent retainers, I would be required to pay $150 out of pocket for an extended cleaning. I clarified that I am a member of the military and have maintained United Concordia as my dental insurance provider for over twenty years, during which I have never been responsible for the cost of an initial cleaning, as it is covered by my insurance. The X-rays confirmed that I did not have any cavities or require fillings. I explained that the presence of permanent retainers, a consequence of my previous orthodontic treatment of braces, contributes to some plaque accumulation, which is not manageable on my part due to the retainers. I have utilized various dental offices due to military relocations, and I have never encountered this situation. I requested to utilize my insurance coverage for a standard cleaning; however, the receptionist informed me that this would not be possible due to the recommendation for an extensive cleaning.In conclusion, I was dissatisfied with my experience during this visit, as the office denied my requested services based on their recommendations rather than addressing my specific needs as a patient.

Experiencia fantástica: I had the best experience and i have an unusual fear of the dentist. Everyone was extremely nice from the time I walked in the door until I walked out. They all noticed my anxiety and did everything they could to ease me and make me comfortable. I even broke down in tears and Steven was amazing. I was so upset about the cost and he worked his magic to make it happen. I kind of look forward to going back and will definitely recommend to everyone I know. Very accommodating to couples as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely fantastic service, completely overjoyed. I was incredibly nervous going in, not because going to the dentist makes me nervous but because I have no insurance hadn’t been to one in several years because I couldn’t pay for it. Turns out staff at Aspen will actively work with you to get you the best deal they can! For new patients without insurance it’s only $29 for the scans from Yaya (the fastest X-ray tech in the American Southeast), hygienist Chelsie checking gums and making sure you’re comfortable the entire time, and a doctor checking your teeth up-close and personal. It was a massive relief to find out I only had gingivitis and a couple of budding cavities, and they were able to squeeze me in for the gingivitis cleaning + antibiotics the same day. The financial desk applied discounts in the system without me having to even ask about any, they have financing plans available that aren’t restricted to those with insurance, and they even had translations available at the financial desk for pretty much any language you can think of. Aspen Dental is sincerely working toward getting dental work to any and every person who typically faces barriers to comprehensive care. I feel a little better about the world than I did a week ago. Experiencia negativa: This was the first visit at Aspen located on Bob Wallace, Huntsville, AL. The appointment was very thorough. I never had so many x-rays. It took a very long time before I received my final dentures. After I got them I had on two different occasions a tooth fall out within the first few days of having them. After the second one fell off the dentist checked the bite and I have not had any fall off. I can’t eat pork or beef because I can’t chew it. I can’t bite into food. I have to cut what I’m eating with a knife, even sandwiches that have bread other than soft loaf bread. I’m disappointed because my aunt can eat anything with hers.

Experiencia negativa: I had oral surgery to extract 3 teeth yesterday and I left the office afterwards to go to the pharmacy and my meds (which were to include pain meds, antibiotics, mouth rinse and something else) was never sent in. I had to call the emergency after hours hotline to complain about this. No pain meds as my mouth is killing me! They are somewhat incompetent with there practices. And they never answer there phones during regular business hours which I don't understand at all!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve found my Dentist! The Doctor is so kind and gentle, the office staff are respectful and made me feel comfortable. I came to the office with a toothache and left with sense of belonging. I needed to call at least 3 different times to get all the details correct and I was met with compassion and understanding. While I was there the office staff were super friendly and engaging. I feel like they really care about my teeth as much as I do. It was such a great experience my sister is now a patient too. Thank you to the Doctor and staff for loving on me so well.

They are never friendly, never return phone calls and definitely never file your insurance so they can keep the cash you had to pay out of pocket up front. Office manager never return phones calls and never follows up with insurance claims.

She says that’s for holding and silence, first person to speak loses. So mind you I’m over here in all of this pain from this tooth and having to lead a conversation. There was never how can I assist you ? Or oh no I’m sorry you’re dealing with tooth pain let’s see what we can do for you. Nope, it was more like you can schedule so we can see what’s going on. Of course I would like to schedule an appointment my mouth is in pain. Now here we are, I’ll never use aspen simply because of a phone transaction. Yes, my tooth still hurts problem not solved. Experiencia negativa: I had dental coverage and verified with Aspen Dental in Huntsville that it was accepted there. Brought my dental insurance card with me to for them to have for my routine cleaning/check up in summer 2025. Afterwards, I received a bill stating that my dental insurance company didn't cover them. I called my dental insurance company and was told my policy is active and they haven't received a claim from Aspen. I called Aspen 7/31/25 and verified all my information, was told they would process it. I received another bill. I called Aspen 8/19/25 - they're still working on it. I received another bill. I called Aspen 9/3/25 - was told the member ID was invalid even though they had the information before I went to my service and had the physical card for them to copy. Was told they would resubmit it and to give them a month. Surprise, received another bill. I called 10/3/25 and was told they were still working on it and to give them a couple more weeks. Today, 12/1/25 - I received a notice from a collections company stating that my bill is unpaid. I called my dental insurance company - they confirmed my dental insurance has been active since 5/1/25 and they haven't received a claim from Aspen. I literally had to get a 3-way call going today with Aspen Dental and my dental insurance company who verified with Aspen that my dental policy is active, verified all my member ID numbers and information. Aspen claims the birthday was wrong - what?! I told Aspen it is very inappropriate my bill should be sent to a collections company because of their mistake - I have never been late on a bill in my life.

Should replace the young lady who is rude and doesn't know how to check insurance coverage.....until this is done GO ELSEWHERE!

Experiencia negativa: I was informed by my dentist to see an endo dentist for a exam for possible root canal. I chose the Huntsville-Bob Wallace location. The service was great until after my oral X-rays. I was informed to wait in the lounge, then I was escorted to the check out desk. I was informed by the financial personnel I needed a root canal and how much it will be. I was very disappointed and informed her a doctor never came in to explain to me what he or she seen in my xray that’s causing my issue or that I even needed a root canal, my risk and benefits of a root canal-nothing! She looked confused and went to speak with he or she about my concerns. Guess what? He or she still didn’t do their job. I was too pissed to even get a name. And to think I am going to spend my hard earned money or even allow a dentist in mouth who doesn’t care-I think not!! I will be searching for another endo dentist who actually cared. I will give this establishment a 1 star due to Hannah’s great customer service.

Experiencia positiva: I was scheduled for a Saturday morning, which is not a regular tooth extraction day, or so I was told by the guy in the front. I only wanted my tooth extracted! I had been in pain for 3 weeks. I do not currently have dental insurance, but THANK GOD! I was approved for a little financing. However, that's all I wanted at this point, but the guy at the front was trying to sell me on allll the other options that I had available to me. Saturday's appointment was AWEFUL!!! I mean, I was already in pain and swollen. The 2nd dental hygienist had caused me more pain when she put the numbing gel on my painful, swollen tooth and gum. Just a little aggressive, I felt. Anyways, my blood pressure shot up even higher than it normally is, and Dr. Smith refused to do my extraction because my blood pressure was up. Fast-forward to Tuesday's appointment. SHAKENYA is simply amazing! I met her on my first visit on Saturday. She was very sweet and gentle. So this young guy walks in, with a headlight on his head, mind you, he didn't introduce himself! To my surprise, it was the dentist who was going to do my tooth extraction. It was Dr. Stock. Lol Tuesday's appointment went a little better. They both were extremely kind and gentle, even though my blood pressure was a little high, he proceeded to get the job done! I felt instant relief! I was prescribed antibiotics on Saturday, but nothing for pain. Today is now Thursday, and I am still swollen and in a little pain. I've tried calling the office and didn't get a successful response. So I will continue taking OTC meds until this pain subsides.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give a negative star I would. My husband and I went in as new patients in June, everything was great. We then set another appointment date for someone in the office to call and ask if we could come in early to the office we are not able to. A few days later I called to reschedule an appointment no answer left a voicemail no call back. I did this for about 2 almost 3 weeks. Finally someone answered to get us scheduled but the time slot and days they had did not work for us. So she kindly asked if I can call back next week to set an appointment due to the hours of operation changing soon. I called back left voicemails no answer, mind you this was maybe early September. I called and left voicemails with no answer. To finally at the end of September set an appointment for October. “at this point I’m frustrated” I got a call today to confirm my appointment and realized that I had a few questions prior to previous conversations. I had to call 5 times to finally have someone to answer. I truly understand being shortstaffed or just busy, but this is highly unacceptable. I will absolutely never go back. If I could keep going I would. Trust me there’s more.

Experiencia fantástica: Dropped top plate and had a fracture 3/4” down the side. No teeth were loose. Made an appointment and they were able to fix the fracture perfectly. Dropped off at 8:30am on a Monday morning and they were ready same day at 3:00pm and was only charged $49.00. Excellent service. Highly recommend and would use again

Experiencia negativa: UPDATE: I went to another dentist for a second opinion. Everything was covered by insurance as stated in my benefits book. ALSO the 3 fillings and extra cleaning they said I needed were completely unnecessary. The second opinion told me that me teeth looked great and that there was some minor tartar but nothing extreme. HOW are these people going around just giving unnecessary medical procedures on people!?? AVOID AVOID AVOID Extremely overpriced. What they quoted me didn’t add up at all with what my insurance should cover per contacting my insurance company. More concerning is the lack of attention to patient charts and communication between team members. I put in my paperwork that I am pregnant and also told team members. However it wasn’t until the end of my appointment when looking at the itemized break down of cost and asked specifically if something was safe during pregnancy that they said they would need medical release from my OB. They said they did not know if the medication was safe and “it’s a good thing you told us you’re pregnant because we were going to do that today” (in reference to the procedure) even though that was the second time I verbally confirmed pregnancy and also had it in my chart. 0/10 won’t go back.

Experiencia negativa: Appointment was for 8:00am. Had to leave because issues with their billing/ insurance system. Had to call back at 3:00pm because they never called back. Whoever answered the phone is telling me that I need the “recommended deep cleaning” instead of the basic cleaning covered by the insurance. “Talks to the manager” and said because the hygienist recommended the deep cleaning I have to get the deep cleaning done otherwise they can’t do the cleaning. They are forcing to get treatment that you have the right as a customer/ client to decline. Update as of 8-12-2025 the office manager has not returned my calls. Always is “he’s on a consult and will call you back”

Experiencia negativa: Getting my upper teeth pulled was a smooth process and hardly no pain but, after that it all went down hill. Wore my upper denture longer than the normal time. Which i had to live off of fixadent to hold them in being promised that my permanent ones would fit better and tighter. Well I got my permanent one and I'm still having to live off of fixadent. I can't even open my mouth to say HI without them falling out. 2 times I have talked to them about my issue and they keep pushing implants. So I was told implants (which who to heck can afford them) and/or they want to cut out part of the top of my mouth cause the crown is not letting my denture set properly (I'm sorry but I thought theat was what the bit block was for was to get a good form of my mouth) So here I am they not wanting to try and fix my denture but wants me to pay more when none of this is my fought and I paid all in good faith with credit left over. I think yaw should make this right. I have went from 160 lbs to 137 because it get tired of trying to chew. So Sad Oh and while I was sitting in the lobby there was another gentleman that was complaining about the same thing and apologized to me for me having to hear what he said and, I politely said I'm going through the same thing. NEVER ONCE DID THEY OFFER TO TRY AND PUT A PAD IN OR REMAKE THEM OR JUST MAKE IT RIGHT.. BUT WANTED ME TO PAY MORE OUT OF MY POCKET. AND my credit went from umm 700 to 300 after that visit when I asked for a refund.. Trays that they did not tell me that I was going to have to pay for and I asked why they were taking xrays And they never once told me I would be charged for them Oh I could go on with alot more but I'm stopping there

Experiencia positiva: It was ok everyone was pleasant. Found out that dentures weren't covered by my insurance. My insurance company told me I had coverage but that's my problem to straighten out. One thing that bothered me was I was told they couldn't make me a set of dentures that I wouldn't have to use dentures adhesive. I have Warren dentures for 40 years and never had to use any type of dentures adhesive. In the past 3 months I started use dentures liner that's why I wanted a new set

Experiencia fantástica: Went to them couldn’t get ahold of a dentist within my network for my dental insurance, needed some work done cause I haven’t been to a dentist since transferring back to the area, they got me in and started right away. Key things to keep in mind dental work ain’t cheap and be prepared to pay for the work you want done. Insurance is a plus but dental work still ain’t cheap… their service is Great staff is friendly, I would recommend as long as you go in with the mind frame of having dental work done and understand that it cost a pretty penny to get that tv smile that you want and maintained.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience ever. So I make my appointment and get set up for a cleaning and xrays. After that they sat me down and went over the bill and what my out of pocket would be after my insurance. . They seemed far, so I decided to work with them and that's when it got bad. So I went I. For the first real appointment and I couldn't stay work emergency. So I rescheduled. When I went in for the appointment the dentist was a bit unfriendly. But it happens humans have bad days. So we went forward with the rest of the appointment. The crazy part was he never explain what we would be doing until i asked exactly. After that I went in for the next appointment to finish everything else. They also informed me I had two cavities which they did include in my estimate. So I asked when that would be done they said 3 months out? I was extremely confused about such a long wait time. So they set me up, I waited and then they called/text for my appointment confirmation which I did confirm. I even went as far as asking them to confirm the cavity appointment which she did. So I show up and they inform me this appointment is for a cleaning. I almost lost it but I didn't so I made another appointment. There was so much back and forth over everything it was insane. So finally I get an appointment and then they call me out of the blue they had an opening so I changed everything around for that appointment. Come to find out the original doc didn't want to repair my cavities cause I get to nervous so he didn't want to deal with me. Cause the shots they give you make my hands shake and my heart race which I did inform them of that. So I get another doc from another town. Best dentist even but he only goes there once in A while. I wish I got his information. So after all this they send me a letter say I owe them an insane amount. So im going to call them today. And I will definitely keep the internet update on this practice cause I am feeling like this has to be illegal.

The lady in the office said she had never heard of this ad…lol. Idk. But if u got dental insurance or the extra money to spend, they seem really nice and like they know what they’re doing. Experiencia negativa: Filed my insurance wrong, mischaracterized my patient history, and then attempted to overcharge me far past my insurance deductible. Xray tech was not taking proper self-exposure precautions while taking my images: Set one foot outside room in order to trigger machine, never fully removing themselves from exam room. Somehow, despite not being asked any questions about smoking, the examining tech stated that my gums were in their condition "due to smoking before covid." I have never been a smoker. There was also a large insistence to commit to procedures with a baffling asking price, though a "payment plan" was available. Oral exam for $100, asking price for cleaning was over $1000, despite my major services deductible being $500. Despite the dental staff's competency, I decided to leave for another practice and get a second opinion due to the upsell pressure I experienced at the desk. Would not reccomend Aspen Dental Update: a locally owned clinic got my cleaning done for $107 and I am now a regular patient there.
