Experiencia negativa: If I could give 0 stars I WOULD!! I received a letter stating that I have an unpaid balance of $169. I should not have a balance at all. I was insured through my employer  at the time of the visit.  I scheduled that visit as an emergency visit. I was experiencing excruciating pain from a broken wisdom tooth. I had come in maybe weeks before and had my routine done which included a full mouth xray. At my emergency visit I informed the assistant which tooth I wanted extracted.  The assistant ignored my wishes and wanted to focus on another tooth. I explained to her that that tooth was not the one bothering me it was my wisdom tooth. Again, she ignored what I said and stated that she was going to have The Doctor look at the other tooth instead. I became upset and told the assistant that I did not want to continue services if she is not going to listen to my concerns. I informed the assistant that I wanted to leave and ask if she could take the dental bib off of me. The assistant then proceeded to tell me that I am not leaving and I can’t leave until the Doctor sees me. I got up and removed the dental bib myself and left. I informed the front desk that I will no longer be returning. Not only did your employee disregard my concerns, she tried to prevent me from leaving. I am very disappointed with your practice. I am extremely disappointed with the service that I received. I am requesting that someone reach out to me by mail or email with a written response in regards to this matter. If not, I will be submitting an official complaint to The Board of Dental Examiners.

Experiencia negativa: This office was amazing under Dr. Murphree, but it’s not the same since he left. I gave it a few years to see if things would improve, but unfortunately they haven’t, and I will not be back. The biggest issue is the lack of time spent with patients. Visits feel rushed and impersonal, like you’re being herded through as quickly as possible. It often feels more about the dollar than about patient care. The attention and concern that used to make this office stand out just isn’t there anymore, and it’s disappointing to see how much things have changed.

I loved how caring everyone is and the steps that are taken and explained to assist individuals like myself who suffer from dental anxiety. The dental assistant was one of the best individuals in a medical setting I have ever encountered she LISTENED which not a lot of people do anymore it made me feel heard and appreciated. Dr. James is great I loved how he took the time to explain everything in detail so I understood what was going on and why certain things needed to happen with my teeth, he was also very light handed.

They had a new patient welcome board, gave me a tour, and even presented me with a gift. The entire staff was incredibly kind and friendly. I came in with low self-confidence because of my teeth, but I left feeling hopeful, confident, and comforted with the treatment plan they created for me. Dr. Denny was absolutely amazing. She was not only beautiful inside and out, but she made me feel so reassured and kept telling me, “We got this.” Her assistant who took my X-rays was just as wonderful. She explained everything clearly and made sure I understood every step she was amazing after the planned I was introduced to another lady that would be doing my cleaning she was amazing. I truly appreciate you ladies. I will definitely be referring everyone I know. Simply amazing — the best dental office I’ve ever been to. Everyone is smiling, and it shows!

Dr. James and Sammi were very compassionate and thorough in their exam and care. The whole staff was very polite, friendly and professional. I was able to see my own x-rays and photos of my teeth in real time during the appointment too.

Experiencia fantástica: First visit to Dr Denney at Huntsville Dental was very revealing. they have the nicest and most competent hygienists and Dentist that I have ever stumbled over in my 80 years on "the third rock from the sun". Why does that sound familiar? I have been a dental hysteric since a very early age. My first experience with the dental arts was as a five year old. Dr. Dennis the dentist was a sadist, I suspect. He did not administer local anesthetics before he drilled on my teeth, causing expected screams of pain and fear. As a result, he would hold his hand over my mouth to stiffle any sounds of protest. I took four years of criminal abuse at his hands before my parents became convinced that felonious assault was occurring at each visit. Since that time, I approach the dental arts with fear and valium. I have been forced to become a connossieur of dental care for self protection. Dr Denney and staff are a pleasure to deal with; painless and superb practitioners of battling mean ol' mister tooth decay. I sincerely and highly reccommend Huntsville Dental at 4240 Balmoral in H'ville.

Experiencia negativa: Dental hygienist was a fill in. Did the minimum. No gum check. Scraped a little on the back teeth. Only polished those. Did not get that clean teeth feeling after I left. Extremely disappointed with the care there. But the same since Dr Murpree retired.

Experiencia negativa: We loved Dr Murphree but it’s not the same since he left. I gave it a few years try but it is just not the same. The final straw for me was when I called twice for the office manager. She never called me back. On a side note my daughter was still going to Huntsville Dental but also will not be going back. She had to put her very sick dog to sleep so called to reschedule her appointment. They told her they could but there would be a fee. I understand the fee for cancellations but I also feel there are times these fees can be waived. This was one of those times.

Experiencia fantástica: If you have bad anxiety about going to the dentist, this is the place to go. I went for my first checkup in a long time and they were very kind. When filling out forms, you can let them know ahead of time that you have anxiety and they will account for that during your visit. I was shown around the entire office before being taken to my exam room. They are conscientious about hygienic practices, and let you know what they're going to do before they do it. Both women who took care of me today were excellent, and the staff out front is very kind and professional.

Experiencia negativa: My husband came in got a tooth pulled that had been hurting him. He left there with NO gauze to cover the fresh open hole in his mouth and DID NOT receive any kind of antibiotics or anything for pain. For those who have had teeth pulled, after the numbing wears off the pain is intense and nothing helps except prescription meds.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely amazing dental office! I typically hate the dentist but I actually enjoyed this visit! Everyone was very professional and explained everything throughly. They definitely go above and beyond with how thorough they are with the cleanings! Typically my gums are sore and a little swollen after dental cleanings due to sensitive gums, but I’m perfectly fine after this visit. Kim was my hygienist and she did amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone I know!

I had previous work done by my former dentist of 17 years that was horribly done. My hygienist and dentist at Huntsville Dental were incredible. Superb job in listen to the patient, determine a plan of action and having the visibility of know what the cost would be for work to be done. I have never felt more calm and sure of any physician I’ve ever been too. By far the best choice for a dentist. And finally a dentist who cares.

The front desk staff was kind, courteous, and handled everything with extreme care. I was allowed to sit with her throughout her entire appointment, something we haven't been able to do before which is where the anxiety comes from. Our hygienist/ assistant, Ms. Langston was phenomenal. She was so kind to my moody teenager. She explained the entire process to her and really just went the extra mile. She's a traveling hygienist, so she will not always be there, but she was truly a Godsend today. Dr. Denny was just as amazing. She also took the time to explain things to my daughter, what she was going to do, why things are the way they are. Considering the meltdown we had prior to the appointment, I couldn't have dreamed of a better experience. When we walked out, my daughter even sung their praises. I highly recommended!
