Groat Pediatric Dentistry - Christopher A Groat, DDS

Experiencia fantástica: We saw Dr. Groat for my son’s first dental visit and the process went so smooth. Everyone was so friendly and made sure to make my son feel so comfortable and at ease.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent work. Thanks Groat’s staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Our daughters LOVE the dentist because of Dr. Groat and his remarkable team! Seriously, they get excited when I tell them they have an appointment! Thank you Dr. Groat and amazing team for always making our daughters feel comfortable and confident during their cleanings!

Experiencia fantástica: They were very nice and fun. I also liked how they educated us about our teeth. They helped us with our teeth care so much and we appreciate that.

Experiencia fantástica: Best pediatric dentist in all of California, highly recommended

Experiencia fantástica: Staff was amazing and very friendly. Patient with my 2 year old and explained everything as it was happening. Took extra time to sit and talk to us about anything and everything. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Our kids LOVE going to the dentist, everyone is so wonderful with the kids from toddlers through high schoolers. Can’t recommend more highly.

Experiencia fantástica: We love Dr. Groat and his staff they are always so friendly and welcoming. My two littles love coming here. I love how patient they are with the kids, answering every one of their questions and mine.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my son here for a second opinion on some potential cavities and I'm so glad that I did! Dr. Groat and the team took such good care of my little boy! He enjoyed every visit even though he was getting a lot of work done. They were able to squeeze us in for all the appointments before we move across the country. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love Dr. Groat and his team! Everyone in the office is so kind, friendly, and genuinely great with kids. Shout out to the front staff too. Everyone is always polite, patient, and welcoming. They're also incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to insurance and costs, which I really appreciate. Everything is explained clearly and upfront, so you have time to make informed decisions about your child's care. My favorite thing about this office is their focus on prevention and education. That was something we were completely missing at our previous dentist, which was really geared toward adults. In fact, when I asked about educating kids on dental care there, I was basically told, "Yeah, we don't really do that here." At Dr. Groat's office, it's the exact opposite. Almost every visit includes reminders and encouragement about brushing and flossing, and I love having the dental team help reinforce those healthy habits. Sometimes kids listen a little better when it isn't coming from Mom! The office itself is so much fun. They decorate for the seasons, the atmosphere is welcoming, and they even have a retro Pac-Man game that my son loves. I've also never had an issue with wait times. I've brought my son in for a cleaning during my lunch break and made it back to work on time with no stress. Compared to our old dentist, where I practically had to budget an extra hour and a half for every appointment, that's amazing. If you're looking for a kid-friendly dentist who truly prioritizes your child's comfort, well-being, and overall experience, this is the place. Dr. Groat and his team have made going to the dentist a positive experience for my kiddo, and that means everything. Thank you, Dr. Groat and team, for all that you do!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Groat and his staff are very kind and patient. They were all wonderful throughout the entire visit. This was by far, the most calm my child has been at the dentist, ever! They kept my child and I informed of what was happening every step of the way. I really liked that they encouraged autonomy by allowing my child to select her preferred flavor of toothpaste and fluoride as well as the color of toothbrush that she liked best. They also helped my child understand that certain foods and drinks are not the greatest choices when it comes to dental care. They even gave her a tooth snack guide that delineates common food and drinks and the likelihood of causing cavities. Furthermore, the business website was easy to navigate. I was able to read about Dr. Groat’s practice and also request a callback all via online. I was contacted the very next morning and my child was scheduled to come in the following business day. The pre-visit forms were also easy to complete. The online fillable forms were accessible via a link sent to my cell which was very practical. I didn’t have to print the forms and bring them to the office at all which I appreciated. I also like the appointment confirmation and reminders via text. More importantly, I loved that there is parking on site! I highly recommend Dr. Groat’s Pediatric Dentistry office!

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. Groat. My child had been severely traumatized by previous dental experiences, and the thought of another visit was a source of great anxiety for both of us. However, our experience with Dr. Groat was nothing short of transformative. From the moment we walked into the clinic, the warm and welcoming environment immediately put us at ease. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and understanding, taking the time to explain each step of the process to my child in a way that was both comforting and easy to understand. Dr. Groat was exceptional. He was patient, gentle, and extremely skilled in handling my child's fears, making sure my child felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire visit. What stood out the most was the genuine compassion and empathy shown by Dr. Groat and their team. They took their time with the kids, they explained everything in a way the kids would understand and let them see and touch the tools. Julie was so sweet and helpful in keeping mommy calm the entire time. They gave us some very helpful tips and each child received a little prize for doing well with their visit. I’m so thankful we found someone that does so well with the kids! My 5 year old said “they’re a fun dentist and they get 3 thumbs up! So I’m going to need 2 people for that!”

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Groat and his Staff are wonderful. This has been our second cavity procedure with my young children, and it was stress-free for my son…and me!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Groat and all his staff are so wonderful! My toddler absolutely loves going to the dentist because of how nice they are - he gets to ride up and down in the chair, they explain to him everything that is going to happen and give him a sense of control, he gets to pick out a toy from the treasure box, etc. He feels like such a big kid when and last time we left, he told me he wanted to go back again tomorrow. At one point he complained that his tooth hurt, and Dr. Groat's office was able to accommodate us for an appointment the same day. I also really like how they do not push unnecessary treatments. Choosing a pediatric dentist is essential for young kids and their comfort level and it's obvious that this dentist's office excels at making a trip to the dentist a positive experience for kids.
