J Han Dental Design

Experiencia fantástica: Mr. Han was an absolute blessing to my husband today who’s also battling cancer and needed an emergency extraction. He actually came in on his day off last minute and performed this procedure for him and we couldn’t be more grateful! Dr. Han and his assistant were very warm and welcoming! MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED 10/10

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Han and staff have helped my teeth issues with great care and painless results.I am glad to be a patient in this office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Han is a very skilled dentist and for those that have anxiety going to the dentist he will do everything he can to make it easier.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Han and his whole team are outstanding. They are caring and kind and I highly recommend them

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Han and his staff are very friendly, caring and professional. I can always expect wonderful services and care when I go there! When I leave, I am happy because my issues have been resolved.

Experiencia fantástica: With professional and capable leadership at its core, Dr. Han and his staff offer excellence and cutting edge dental care to discerning patients. Well Done ! William Turenne

Experiencia negativa: Dr Han is a nice and competent dentist. I was presented with a nearly $900 bill after being a patient for over a year. It was blamed on the former office manager. I found it incredibly unprofessional to throw this person entirely under the bus while also demanding I pay this insane sum. I ended up making a payment plan that I immediately regretted. I should have instead had them bill my insurance again and go about my business. I will never return and will tell my friends and family the same.

Experiencia fantástica: I am pleased to have Dr J Hahn as my Dentist Every staff member is above the normal quality generally Found! The fear once expected no longer is an issue Thank you so much Dr Hahn!! And my Smile is right sweet too✅

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely the best experience we've had involving dental work both professionally and with empathy for our special needs. I highly recommend and wish to thank Dr. Han and staff for their services.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Han and his team was very informative and compassionate. Being that that I was goings discomfort he fit me in when other dentist turned down. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I did not have a dentist in Richmond when, on a Sunday night, a bridge came loose from its moorings. My wife has been going to Dr. Han for years and called to get me in on Monday morning. Although they were fully booked, they graciously saw me that day. Everyone was very polite and professional and kept apologizing for my wait time even though I didn't have a scheduled appointment. I was very impressed with the way I was treated and am glad to say that I now have a dentist in Richmond.

Experiencia fantástica: Caring, compassionate, focused on making every visit pleasant.......yep...... I am describing a dentist and his staff. Dr.Han and his team take the fear out of going to the dentist. His knowledgeable and specifically designed solutions for me and my husband provide us with the comfort of knowing that our health is greatly benefited while creating an atmosphere of actually wanting to go to the dentist. Dr. Han’s recommendation for an alternative to the sleep apnea machine that my husband used to use has been the best solution to prevent his snoring but also provides a happier sleep because there is no machine anymore I personally had the whitening done on my teeth and happily enjoy smiling more than ever. I just cannot express enough wonderful experiences that we have had. He and his team actually create a desire to want to go to the dentist and we are grateful for that.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly staff and Dr. Han was easy to talk to and he explained everything in detail. They made you very comfortable. Would recommend him to family and friends.

Experiencia fantástica: Professional, caring, knowledgeable. I can’t recommend this office highly enough as you’d be hard-pressed to find a dental experience better than the one Dr. Han and his associates provide here in Richmond. I wish I could go more than twice a year!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a crown come off and Dr. Hahn fit me in the next day. I'm extremely anxious about going to the dentist and he took his time with me.

Experiencia fantástica: Compassionate, comprehensive dental care. Impressed by Dr. Han and his team. Fixed a failed root canal and crown from another office. The dental hygienist was excellent. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Gentle and excellent dental care. I recommend J Han wholeheartedly.

Experiencia fantástica: I visit Dr. Han on a regular basis because I trust his knowledge and skills and I trust him to make each visit a positive experience. He has excellent credentials and I know he keeps up-to-date on the latest technologies and services. And I appreciate that Dr. Han uses the latest technology and tools in dentistry. Why is that important to me? I spent my professional life in healthcare quality and risk and so I understand that modern techniques and equipment improve diagnosis, treatment and recovery and they help ensure the highest quality care. And I like that he explains procedures to me, answers questions - sometimes lots of questions- and, gives me options that allow me to make decisions that fit my needs and my budget. Dr. Han not only has excellent skills but his warmth and calm manner, as well as the availability of sedation, when I need it, help make each procedure a calm and painless experience. I recently decided to have porcelain veneers and crowns applied to most of my teeth. I'm glad I had Dr. Han do this rather than going to one of the larger discount store-type dental practices because veneers and crowns are costly and you don't want to end up with an out-of-the-box smile that looks artificial and doesn't really meet your needs. Dr. Han worked with me to help me select a custom color and to understand and make decisions about other custom adjustments possible with veneers to enhance the appearance of my teeth and improve my smile. And, he made sure I was relaxed and comfortable throughout the procedures. Thanks to Dr. Han, I now have a smile with bright, well-shaped and natural looking teeth that make me look and feel younger. And who doesn't want to look younger? I can't finish without saying that Dr. Han's staff from the administrative staff to the hygienists are every bit as wonderful as he. Whether its navigating the mysterious web of insurance reimbursement or helping me improve my dental hygiene, they are great. If you're looking for a dentist for your routine dental needs, major dental care, and cosmetic procedures, you need look no further than Dr. Han. Go visit J Han Dental Design and you will discover that you've found the right dental practice for you.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff are all very professional and friendly. Dr. Hahn explains everything and I've been pleased with the care I have received as well as my 3 kids. I was very impressed with all the safety measures in place during this time of covid-19.

Experiencia fantástica: I don’t like going to the dentist, but Melissa and Dr.Han made this visit very comfortable. I would recommend trying this practice to anyone that needs a knowledgeable and caring dental family.

Experiencia fantástica: Great Dentist! Fantastic Hygienist! Awesome staff!

Experiencia fantástica: Just moved to Midlothian and was referred to Dr Han and the search for a dentist is over. Everyone at the practice was very friendly and thorough. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: The staff and décor are fantastic. They made a GREAT first impression. I'll be glad to go back :) Dr. Han is awesome also :)

Experiencia negativa: My first time as a new patient at this office, service was horrible. I wasn’t greeted and I was scheduled when everyone was on break. Not to mention the dentist himself rushed me out the chair without any treatment and no answers for anything. As we talked, his main focus was getting to his other patients and saying he didn’t have time to help me. He didn’t explain what was on the X-ray. I had no idea of what I was looking at. I do not recommend this Dentist office to anyone. I was forced to give them 1 star. They don’t deserve any.

Experiencia positiva: J Han Dental Design provides 5 star service.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst experience I have had with a visit to the dentist. if you cannot pull a wisdom tooth do not attempt send your client to a surgeon. My cheeks and gums are butchered. Thankfully Dr.Padgett at Richmond oral and cosmetic removed my tooth in less then 15 minutes. Do not put yourself in this type of pain unless you are into torture. Do not go for wisdom teeth Do not go for wisdom teeth Do not go for wisdom teeth and I repeat Do not go for wisdom teeth.

Experiencia fantástica: I always enjoy the friendliness of the staff as well as Dr Han. Everyone is always so very nice!!

Experiencia fantástica: Im visiting from out of town and needed a last minute emergency appointment. This by far is the best dental Experience i have ever had. Not to mention I had to have a root canal. But he made it a great experience. Staff really nice as well

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Han, I’m taking this opportunity to thank you for a most delightful experience! When I entered your beautiful and spacious office I sensed this was going to be a unique and special experience, I was so right. Your staff was personable and engaging. When I first met you, I felt a sense of confidence. Your relaxed demeanor and thoroughness established immediate trust and credibility. I can honestly say that I am looking forward to my upcoming visit. Thanks again for a unique and pleasurable visit. Austine Flynn

Experiencia fantástica: He is amazing! Had 2 teeth pulled and he was so patient and understanding. I didnt feel a thing! Kelly the dental assistant was the sweetest thing. I will definitely be going there for now on.

Experiencia fantástica: Great thanks for the service I received at the office. It was the first time I felt comfortable and in care hands. It was one of the most pleasant visits to the dentist office since I was a kid. Much thanks to the staff for taking care of me.

Experiencia fantástica: He did absolutely great I had a emergency wisdom tooth needed to be pulled and he took me right away.

Experiencia fantástica: Melissa is a wonderful dental hygienist. She is always careful, gentle and thorough, and takes time to interact with me about both my oral health care as well as me as a person. Dr. Han has always answered my questions and made sure that I understood any concerns before I left.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in desperate need of some pain relief when I ran across Dr.Han. I had been up all night due to my tooth bothering me. He got me right with same day service when my reg dentist didn't have any openings. Everyone was so helpful and friendly im so appreciative.

Experiencia fantástica: I would give more than five stars if I could. Dr han’s practice is amazing all the staff are super friendly and take the time with the pt. Laura at the front desk is amazing . Melissa the hygienist is one of the best hygienist you could ever meet, I got my teeth cleaned with her and let me tell you what a great Service . She took her time I never feel rushed with them at all. I highly recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: Staff at this office were amazing, I had an emergency dental appointment was able to be seen the same day, the staff was polite, friendly, and welcoming they even gave me a tour of the office where I was going to be seen. When it came down to the exam I was offer a dental plan and given options, and lastly the price was affordable since I was paying out of pocket. I can truly say I have found my dental provider.

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional, great knowledge, took care of my problems

Experiencia negativa: Mr. Han is a good dentist but he was so unprofessional towards one of his staff. He told her that he didn’t like the way she was standing right in front of me. How could you be so unprofessional? I’m appalled and I hope that his employees learn to stand up for themselves because no one deserves to be treated sh!tty!!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Han, and his staff are the best. Great follow up, text, and call notifications to confirm appointments and future visits. My family and I will not go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: First of all, let me say that everyone in this building was absolutely amazing. I had a dental emergency and couldn't get ahold of anyone to see me today. I googled emergency dentist and this practice pulled up. I called and the receptionist set me up for a same day appointment. She was very helpful and friendly. I got there and almost immediately went back. I have extreme anxiety, I absolutely hate going to the dentist. Every single one of the assistants and Dr Han were so encouraging and helped to calm my nerves. I couldn't have had a better experience. They were just unbelievably nice, down to earth and genuinely kind. I left there with my tooth fixed and my anxiety decreased. I will definitely be going back and bringing the family to this practice. Not only were they friendly, caring and genuine but the office was clean and relaxing. I highly recommend this practice, Especially if you have anxiety or fears of the dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: I would like to thank Dr.Han for being so humble with me he was patient and he took the time to explain to me about implants, thats what I really want as need and other options financially. He has a caring nature so I pray that it stays that way and I do have to give credit also to his receptionist and his nurse they were very nice and caring.....I

Experiencia fantástica: I enjoyed my visit even though it was for an extraction. The staff was very nice and personable. The dentist was also nice but not afraid to tell me what I needed to hear. Overall a hard but good experience. I will be going here for all my dental needs moving forward. 5 stars and well deserved.

Experiencia fantástica: They were very caring and understanding. I will never go to another dentist after today’s visit!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Han is phenomenal! He and his team go above and beyond to provide the best possible care and we can’t recommend them enough!

Experiencia fantástica: These guys are wonderful. They get how freaked out I am at the dentist, and do everything possible to put me at ease!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Han and his friendly staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and that I was in good hands today on my first visit. I’ll be back.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Han is the kindest, most compassionate dentist. I have high dental anxiety, and had let many issues go unattended. He and my hygienist Ashley are patient, friendly, and non-judgmental. I’ve needed significant work done, and they’ve been fantastic every step of the way. I appreciate the broad range of pain and anxiety management (I’ve tried a little of everything to find the right combo). They are thoughtful in the little details too- a blanket when I was cold and nervous, and a protein drink after a particularly long procedure. I still don’t love the dentist, but I do love Dr. Han and his staff!

Experiencia fantástica: J Han Dental has been doing an excellent job since I began seeing them earlier this year! They have been with me every step of the way and explained every part of the treatment process to me as well as the bill, for those who made have a difficult time understanding these things (lol). All the staff has been great any questions I had while not in the office was promptly scheduled and taken look at often the same day if not the day after. Could not reccomend anyone better . Reviews and the service should spean for itself . And special props to Laura, consistently, al looking out making sure i get the proper information on billing treatment etc. If you need to see a dentist this is the one!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Han and his staff were very friendly and made my adult, autistic son feel very comfortable. Ashley was very patient and professional in getting all of his x-rays done. Dr. Han was willing to work with us on a treatment plan that was a little different from the norm due to my son's autism. I highly recommend J Han Dental Design.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Han was very informative and explained all of my options thoroughly. He took his time with me and did not rush through our appointment. This allowed us to come up with the best treatment plan. He is a very gentle and humble spirit, which reassures your comfort and confidence in him.

Experiencia fantástica: Omg. This experience far exceeded our expectations. The entire appointment was amazing. My daughter and I learned so much about her particular dental issues. The atmosphere is so caring and supportive. Staff was incredibly helpful. The treatment plan factored into it my daughters personal needs. I highly recommend this dental practice.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Dr Han was excellent. I had two teeth extracted and implants installed the same day. It was painless and they did everything possible to insure my safety and success. I like the way Dr Han explained everything step. I would highly recommend Dr Han!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Han along with all his staff are really easy to talk to, knowledgeable, friendly, and truly have your best interests at heart. They do their work with professionalism while accommodating the needs or wants of patients. I have never been in another place of business where I was treated so well. Dr Han tells you the truth and doesn’t sugarcoat it and takes the best course of action with your benefit as the number one priority. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a dentist especially anyone who has had bad experiences before or think of their teeth as a lost cause.

Experiencia negativa: I went to Dr. Han with an open mind and Faith that I was in good hands. However, I left the chair with a big hole in the side of my tooth “which later I found out that the nerve of the tooth was exposed”. He proceeded to tell me that it was always there. “This hole happened after he went poking around that particular tooth. He was very defenses when I asked him about it. After getting a second opinion from a different dentist office, it was told to me that my tooth was soft in that area due to it having a cavity and could have easy cracked if poked. If Dr. Han would have told me this instead of trying to aggressively convince me that the hole was always there, which it wasn’t, I would’ve received that better and trusted him.

Experiencia fantástica: Great staff and everyone is super helpful and friendly I felt very comfortable looking forward to my next visit

Experiencia negativa: The front desk staff is really great but we had a bad experience with the dentist here. He took over a holistic practice and his website claims to be the same but he is not. In fact, when we brought up something claimed on the site, he contradicted it and said it was not true. If you're looking for a holistic dentist who is conservative with treatment (ie: does not overtreat or rush into treatment), go elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Laura is the best! I don't dread going to the dentist like I once did. One day she will even get me to floss like I'm supposed to!

Experiencia fantástica: Another excellent experience visiting with J Han Design! I received such a thorough and painless dental cleaning yesterday. Thank you Melissa!

Experiencia fantástica: This is an amazing facility. I felt welcome from the moment I stepped across the door. The office set up is warm and inviting. It has been beautifully designed from the paintings on the wall to the marble chest pieces sitting on the table. Every employee was knowledgeable and very welcoming. I was given a tour upon being called back for my appointment. The Doctor was amazing, and most importantly he was knowledgeable about his craft. I would and have absolutely recommended this office to others.

Experiencia fantástica: Phenomenal experience here. Dr. Han was an artist, and prices were really good. Staff was warm and caring. You should go here.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an appointment today and 2 weeks ago and I am excited about Dr Han and Dee his assistant professional manner . I would highly recommend this practice, been going there over 20 years to Dr Pranee White when she was the owner, but she has left me in good hands, gentle dentistry is the key, and that is what they provide and excellent work.

Experiencia fantástica: Great staff very understanding and willing to work with you.

Experiencia fantástica: Always have the best experience with Dr. Han and Dr. White. Prompt, professional service with a smile; and they truly CARE. (corny, but true...and what else would you want in a dentist?) Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: No one wants serious work happening inside their mouth... but the Adult in me, knew I needed to get this long procrastination resolved. Cant say there wasn’t any pain... but my imagination had it at 8+ (moments before the procedure began). When it was all over, the dastardly deed done... the reality was more like a 1.3. And that is all about technique and skill. It was complicated. More time spent than expected. But I had veterans at my side throughout the entire event window. I felt safe. I miss that wisdom tooth and so too his three remaining brethren. That I also know the names of his fellow team (hi Melissa, hi Laura) is because they too have been delightful and who doesn’t want to remember the names of those who helped make your day more bright. More shiny.

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend Dr. Han and J. Han Dental Design! Dr. Han is professional, informative, and has an excellent chair side manner and his team is phenomenal!

Experiencia positiva: Pros: The office was extremely clean and very beautifully set up. The staff, dental assistance and the dentist has amazing bed side manner. I could not have been more pleased. Cons: We were told there was a "free consultation" which was very misleading. I had to pay $250 to get an Xray and be told nothing they can do for me and I have to go to an oral surgeon. Had I of known that I would have gone elsewhere as there are many dentists that include xrays in your free consultation. Mind you this is uninsured, I cant speak for what it would cost insured. As long as you don't mind spending the money on Xrays then I would highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough good things about my experience at J Han Dental Design. All of the staff were wonderful. Everything was explained so clearly & everyone was so attentive & professional. Dr. Han was just great. He made sure that I understood all the procedures needed & answered all of my questions. I would greatly recommend Dr. Han & his staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Confident staff, excellent service, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dentist

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is very professional, always happy, and a pleasure to interact with. I never thought that I would say that it’s a pleasure to go to the dentist . . . but it truly is - Thank you!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had an excellent experience at J Han Dental Design- all the way through from the appointment booking, a great and informative first visit, and the staff is all wonderful and professional!

Experiencia fantástica: The best dental facility I have ever been in Great dentist great staff

Experiencia fantástica: More than likely the only dentist office that I will go to from now. The staff is amazing, caring and so comforting. The office itself is very clean and they take the proper precautions needed to help avoid COVID which is great. Dr. Han is so informative and seriously knows what he’s talking about. Great experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great visit earlier this week. As always, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Han is great about addressing any concerns. I look forward to my next visit.

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional and friendly. I'm extremely happy with my results. Dr. Han and Ashely made me feel really comfortable and safe. Really everyone in that office was professional, great staff. I recommend this office!

Experiencia fantástica: I've known Doctor Han personally for some time, but only went to him recently due to COVID-related scheduling issues with my other dentist. Dr. Han noticed a chip in my front tooth, and in the space of about 3 minutes showed me how it would look if he fixed it. Holy cow. Take the time to give him a call. Plus, he's an easy guy to chat with who will give you the straight story on your teeth.

Experiencia positiva: I have been going to Dr Han’s for my dental needs over two years and have always enjoyed exceptional service.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. J. Han and staff provide exceptional dental care in a safe and welcoming environment!

Experiencia fantástica: Just a great experience from start to finish. An old filling from a previous dentist blew up and I needed a crown. Everything was super smooth - I was really impressed by the team and the office. It was the first time I felt relaxed with a dentist after years of struggling to find someone I could trust. Highest recommendation.

Experiencia fantástica: Always a friendly greeting here. Staff are professional and well equipped to operate safely in this pandemic. Laura did her utmost to work out lower payments for me vs my insurance payouts. Ashley is such a friendly and personable technician, even seeing me when the office was closed. It was to replace a temporary crown of mine that was beginning to loosen, but showed their true commitment. Dr Han took the extra time to carefully remove my broken tooth so as not to damage my jawbone, meaning I didn't require a bone graft. I was glad to be in such professional and friendly care for my bridge procedure. I would thoroughly recommend this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was so friendly, Dr. Han was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: Thanks for making me as comfortable as possible while at the office. Dr. Han has impeccable bedside manners and the staff was very polite.

Experiencia fantástica: I love Dr. Han and most importantly, the whole staff. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming in a super clean and comfortable environment. Love receiving a clean blanket and tinted glasses to make my dental appointment more comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: John’s assessment was the most in depth and thorough in my dental experience. He explained well in detail and gave me a great education. I am now well equipped with his diagnosis and knowledge to make an informed decision. Thank you, John!

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful experience.I have hard time going to be treated at any Dentists. I now have extensive work to be done Dr Han chair side manner is excellent, and will have all my improvements done Here!!!! I have. Found my lifetime Dentist. It seems impossible but his staff is even better than him (sorry Doc)

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly and organized staff! They make it easy to schedule appointments and they always send reminders! Confident in the dental care that I receive!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a sinus lift and an implant. Dr Han is very professional and skilled. I would suggest to anyone that needs an implant that they should go talk to him. he has a very clean and beautiful facility and everyone there goes overboard to make you feel comfortable. I felt no pain whatsoever, not even the needle stick for the lidocaine. Thanks Dr Han Tom

Experiencia positiva: I was very impressed with my first appointment at J Han Design Dentistry. Dr. Han has a wonderful bed side manner and communicates his care for his patients better than most! It's a progressive practice with state of the art technology and equipment.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best place ever! Can't stop looking at the mirror lol

Experiencia fantástica: Very pleasant staff and excellent dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband has been a longtime patient at this particular office since he was formerly with White&White. By default I came to the office just because we didn’t feel like switching to someplace closer to our home in Glen Allen. What a totally amazing surprise in this entire experience! Wow! I came in to see Dr. Han and his staff for a deep cleaning and a root canal and crown. The office is beautiful, the staff are the most friendly people on the planet, and the experience was just completely different from any other I've ever had in a dental office. If you like modern equipment, Netflix/Hulu on demand while you’re in your chair (they have awesome taste in tv btw), Down-to-Earth staff, great conversations, and the best numbing perfectionist I’ve ever met- GO SEE DR. HAN! Oh, P.S. His kids bake the most ridiculous chocolate cookies that he keeps in the front checkout. Seriously, Goodie Bags and awesome teeth to chew them with! Thanks Dr. Han!

Experiencia positiva: My kid and I are new patients and the professionalism and the personable touch exceeded my expectations. Not to mention, all the plans in place to deal with anxieties.

Experiencia fantástica: I only have wonderful things to say. The staff is second to none and the personal care and attention is nothing short of outstanding. I have had a lot of work done, and each visit was better then the last. I am very pleased with the quality of care I have received. Joe V.

Experiencia fantástica: When your dentist has a better sense of humor than most stand up comedians and is smarter than the average bear, it’s a great experience all around. Two thumbs up.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic experience. They took great care of my daughter when we had a bit of a dental emergency.

Experiencia fantástica: The Han Dental team makes your dental experience as smooth as possible. They will go out of their way to fix your dental issues and explain them throughly.
