Experiencia negativa: I have been going to this dentist for years. Made an appointment to get two fillings done over a month ago. Received multiple appointment confirmation text messages and I spoke to a representative over the past week with no concerns. Today, I show up for my appointment and they stated they don’t have my insurance on file. After providing the information they told me to have a seat. About 10 minutes later I was told they no longer take my insurance. This office new I was only in town for a short period of time and needed this work done. This was never mentioned once over the past month. I have also had multiple fillings in need of “Replacement” over the years. I was never happy with the oral work that was done on me or my wife. The ONLY reason why I kept going to this office was because they have a hygienist named Barbie who is amazing. If it wasn’t for her I would have left years ago. I can not be anymore disappointed in the lack of professionalism from this office staff. UPDATED - 10/15/26 Well it took over 4 years for a reply from this dentist and they want me to call to speak to them privately. I would give you one minute of my time. Again, this is the WORST dentist I have EVER been to. I guess they think after 4 years I would forget about the hate for them. Nope..and according to other reviews I'm not only one you apparently want to speak to. Thanks for the reply 4 years later I needed the laugh today. Palacin Dental, you are a joke

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience — I would not recommend this place. I waited over an hour to have a tooth fixed that should have been done properly during my first visit. I was left sitting in the chair with no updates, and when I asked how much longer it would take, no one could give me an answer other than “the doctor is busy.” Extremely disappointing service and poor communication.

Experiencia negativa: I wish I can give this people zero stars, they are only a scam. They will not accept Florida Blue insurance. That includes the x-ray complete analysis. They will ask you to pay for the analysis for new patient and if you wanted, you have to wait, I absolutely do not recommend them!!

Experiencia negativa: I strongly advise against using this dental office. From the start, the staff focused more on pushing unnecessary services than addressing my actual needs. The situation became unacceptable when I requested a form required for an organ-transplant evaluation. I was repeatedly assured it would be completed, yet over a month passed without receiving anything — not even a blank form. The repeated false promises, lack of communication, and complete failure to provide a critical document demonstrate a profound disregard for patient well-being and professional responsibility. This office has shown neither reliability nor respect, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient for years and love to see how technologically advanced the office has become. Luis is awesome!!! Best dental hygienist I have ever had. He is always professional, gentle and eager to make the experience as painless as possible. My only complaint would be the 3.5% charge for debit/credit card payments. I personally don’t mind paying with Zelle to avoid the extra charges but the business has a high end appearance. I personally think this isn’t a good look for new or existing customers. A business that is high end and top notch that can’t pick up the 3.5% credit card charge, just isn’t a good look at all.

Experiencia negativa: Don’t trust these ppl ! They will talk to you nice in the beginning and at the end, I’ll sit you down like a car salesman and try to get you to pay thousands of dollars for things you don’t even have in your mouth!

Experiencia negativa: Disappointing Experience – Seems Too Focused on Money I recently moved to Florida and chose this office because it's close to home and the environment initially looked clean and welcoming. The hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth, so I was hopeful. However, despite having good dental insurance, I was surprised that I had to pay out-of-pocket for a regular teeth cleaning. Being new to the area, I thought maybe this was standard practice. I even encouraged my husband to try this office as well. After his visit, he told me he felt the office was primarily motivated by money. At first, I didn’t think much of it. However, when my husband visited another local dental office, he was not charged extra for a regular cleaning, a very different experience. Based on this, I decided it made sense to switch providers myself. When my new dentist requested my records, I called Palacin Dental, only to be told there was a $35 fee just to send my records, a charge I have never encountered before. As an average working-class American, I know dental care can be costly, but I also take good care of my oral health. I’m disappointed with these extra charges and the overall money-driven atmosphere of this office. Sadly, I cannot recommend Palacin Dental based on my experience.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely appalling experience — if I could give zero stars, I would. My father had seven veneers placed at this office about two years ago. Veneers — especially porcelain — are expected to last between 10 to 15 years, and even composite veneers have a lifespan of 4 to 8 years. Shockingly, four of his veneers have already fallen off, two fell off the day after the initial placement, TWO days! This is clearly indicating clear issues with either the quality of materials or the technique used by the provider. Most reputable dental offices offer a warranty or service guarantee, especially when a restoration fails multiple times within such a short period. But instead of taking accountability, this office charged him $100 just to glue the veneer back on. When he mentioned this should be something covered considering the amount of time it’s happened, the doctor replied “well then, figure out who’ll replace it”. That kind of charge for something that was clearly a result of poor workmanship and the doctor’s response is unacceptable and unethical. To make matters worse, the staff is rude, unprofessional, and has a habit of speaking negatively about patients in Spanish — while those patients are sitting right there in the room. It’s demeaning and entirely inappropriate. This place may promise cosmetic results, but what they deliver is poor quality work, no accountability, and a toxic environment. I strongly warn others not to trust your dental health — or your money — to this office. Look elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: I suffer from severe anxiety and more than anything the thought of sitting in a chair with the dentist examining my mouth caused me horrible anxiety, but since I entered the clinic and saw that they greeted me with a big smile, I felt calm, when I went to the office they put on music for me to relax, the chairs have massages and they were patient with me, more than going to the dentist to take care of my teeth, I went to live a magnificent and gratifying experience, everyone treated me spectacularly and I recommend them 100%

I don’t care if you like what people look like or care about what they do with their hair but your employees should not be talking about or laughing at them especially when they represent you

Experiencia negativa: Don't go here. They did all kinds of unnecessary work on my teeth including four poorly done crowns to test their crown-in-a-day machine. I spent more than $12,000 here. Then they redid work and still charged me. I have always taken meticulous care of my teeth and never missed a dental appointment. The teeth with the crowns all had to be extracted in an emergency procedure at another dental office because they were done improperly. I complained about the pain, but was told it was normal. My new dentist was appalled at what he saw under them. Teeth ground to nothing. I now have to get partial dentures. What was the point in taking care of my teeth and doing what the dentist told me? I paid $36 for my dental records, and they sent me four recent x-rays. They are protected by Florida law. Run from this place.

Experiencia negativa: I was told I needed FOURTEEN (14) cavities at this place. The dental assistant was over-explaining and making sure I “saw” all the trouble areas, something in all of the dental appts throughout my lifetime across 8 different states have never done before… Then, they take me to an office to discuss pricing for these procedures like if they are about to run the numbers for a car pricing plan. I don’t have history of dental issues, so went to get a second opinion - they found ZERO cavities. I was so confused so I asked to see the head doctor at the new clinic, and he saw me for free and reassured me I had zero cavities. He did mention I could get a childhood one refilled but he said it was absolutely not necessary. Very interesting experience.

Experiencia negativa: I was very disappointed with the service and the attitude of this dental office. My wife needed some dental work and was told that our insurance did not cover any of it, so she had to sign up for a loan with Cherry. Later, we found out that our insurance did cover the services and was paying the office. They wanted us to pay the difference which was higher than Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from our insurance said. We tried to resolve this issue with the office manager, Ivan Puyo, and the accountant, Celina Palacin, but Ivan was very uncooperative and rude. He wanted us to pay more than what our insurance required us to pay. Ivan was very aggressive and even slammed the table in front of me. I though he was going to hit me. After a month of phone calls and visits, including calls with my insurance, we finally managed to pay only what our insurance stated in the EOB, which was $4000 less than what they initially charged us. It was a horrible experience that I do not wish to anyone. They have no customer service skills and only care about money. I am also concerned about my wife's ongoing orthodontic treatment, which is already paid in full, and how they will treat her in the future.

Experiencia negativa: In my 60 years of being predisposed of having bad teeth, this is the worst dental group I have ever encountered. I had five fillings done and within 6 months four of them fell out. I was told I could come back pay for an exam and x-rays and then pay to have them redone. The price was pretty good though I'll have to admit. I guess you get what you pay for. Bargain basement dentistry at its finest.
