I have extensive dental work that needed to be done, and the staff was so friendly and patient with me from the time I walked in the door until I left. Keera (I hope I’m spelling it right) was especially kind and made me feel very comfortable and kept me laughing. She was also very knowledgeable and was able to help guid me in selecting the best treatment plan for me. I overheard her having to deal with an unpleasant patient, and she handled the situation with tact and professionalism! I think his mood even lightened as a result of interacting with her and the rest of the staff. The dentist was equally as kind, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. My hygienist was excellent. The office manager was so pleasant, professional, and funny! Everyone was just great. One of the best experiences at a dentist office I’ve had in a long time!!! Thank you so very much!!!

Experiencia negativa: My husband I went for our annual cleaning and paid out of pocket, up front expenses and then continued to receive bills on the backend in addition to them billing our insurance. I was charged for an electric toothbrush that was just handed to me in a bag. No explanation or notice saying I would be charged another $100 for it. Never going back.

Experiencia negativa: Go somewhere else! They’ll tell you they can help and that they have an oral surgeon just to get you to book! Once at the appointment they get you in the back for X-rays and charge you for them but say that they don’t have anyone there qualified to assist you so they would have to refer you to someone else… left with more problems than I walked in with! Still no refund either! When booking I specifically asked for an oral surgeon and assured me the office had one! Lies on top of lies.

Experiencia negativa: BEWARE of this location. I went to this location on 05/20/21 for a deep cleaning. Total charge $814. (Based on their policy, my insurance supposed to cover ¼ of this charge) My responsibility for the remaining charge was $558. After reviewing the charges I decided to cancel a follow up due to their billing department being irresponsible on the charges. (I was over charge from a previous visit with no explanation, as well as being charged for a COVID charge…) I called repeatedly to get a credit in which I am owed. My insurance contact them as well to request for copies of my x-rays, & a breakdown of the services that were provided, they never responded back to my insurance company, nor myself. Spoke to a woman name Shannen (Billing Mgr) several times (10X) trying to resolve the billing charges as well. . I still have not received a courtesy call back. Called the corporate office as well, left a message on the Patient relations voicemail in regards to this location. No one called me back either. Two months later, I am paying for a service that I never received. These people doesn’t have the courtesy to return patient phone calls, as well charging people for services they never receive. If you want ok service, and you don’t mind wasting your time and money, visit this location. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. ***FOLLOW UP**** After 11 months of the first review, and the run around from Coast Dental, I have not received my refund. I was due a refund from an overpayment for deep cleaning. Here are the names of people I have spoken to, Shannen, Rhonda, Patient Assurance (4 times) and my file was escalated to the Regional Manager for this location. As of today, I have not received ANYTHING from this location. This business lack basic etiquette (communication, professionalism, and decency) to assist any patients who patronize their business. If you a consumer who wants to be treated with the utmost respect, & time please go somewhere else where you will be treated well. I will see Coast Dental in court!

Experiencia negativa: This entire dental center is highway robbery. They bill us for the things they advertise as complimentary. They charged my insurance, I paid out of pocket and then got billed again by mail. They extort people insurances if I was you I’ll stay completely away!

Upon entering the parking lot, there were designated parks for dental customers. That was a plus. Entering the office I was greeted by a friendly and professional front office. The waiting room was clean and well organized. The wait was not long at all, even though, I arrived early. Each staff that provided service for my dental care was outstanding. Every procedure was explained. The hygienist and the young lady that took my X-Rays made me feel comfortable. This caused me to calm my nerves. They were both friendly, respectful, attentive , and professional. I scheduled my next appointment before leaving. Thank you, Coast Dental, for a job well done!!!

Experiencia negativa: Staff ladies where lovely, but I needed a nice dentist after he shot me with Novocaine at the roof of my mouth, after he pulled my two teeth I thought my leg was sleep, but when I got home I could not move my leg, I am still waiting for a email response couldn't leave a message. When I was told my out of pocket was $400 I should have left, but they lowered it to $100 but total bill was $1,191 to pull 2 broken teeth one just fell out after he touched it. Now my insurance is will make me pay for service I need shame on you coastal dental

Experiencia negativa: (No stars for all the stress)Where do I begin I started going to the Morrow/Lake City location 10/2019 in 8/2020 there was a new office manager. I had a procedure done paid my required amount outside of my insurance and a year later I received a bill for that amount of money I paid. I went to that office the office manager Will at that time submitted the incorrect codes for billing and he was supposed to resubmit it, we’ll Will was no longer shortly after that. So, again I get a bill I went to the office on 3 different times trying to resolve the issue as to what was going, also the bill was 862.00 which wasn’t the portion that insurance was supposed to pay. The office manager never called me I left copies what was explained as my amount to pay also the insurance amount and receipts. Still nothing now they sent the bill to a collection agency ( I work hard to maintain a excellent credit score )I sent information to them and now they have fabricated charges (fraudulent charges if you ask me) which are not what was initially agreed upon. I have now filed a complaint with my insurance company on Coast Dental of Morrow Hopefully I want have to get an attorney. Coast Dental management understand this you have made a great dentist look bad (Dr. Katz does great work but the office staff will make you think twice) Lack of submitting accurate billing and lack of communication. I would never intentionally get services that I was not able to pay for. My procedure was planned and scheduled accordingly. This office is now on their 4th office manager.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled an appt for 12.23.2021. I sat in their office for about 20 min and got called back, I was given mouthwash to go rinse my mouth. After coming out of the restroom the staff was startled and asked me when was my appt. I responded uhm today! they said no your appt was yesterday. I have emails and text messages that indicate my appt is in fact for 12.23.2021. The staff was so confused and said no. I pulled out my phone and showed them. They had no words and tried to make plenty of excuses. Then they went on to say ooh well we dont have a hygienist today. So I booked a cleaning and theres no hygieniest. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I walked out with no intentions of having someone just look at my mouth without cleaning my teeth. I do not recommend them

Caroline helped me with my financing she was great because I didn’t know how I was going to be able to afford the work that I needed but she told me about all the payment options…I recently transferred from their Alpharetta office because it’s closer to where I live. Experiencia fantástica: First time visit. Front desk was pleasant & welcoming. I told the Dental assistant, Kira about a problem I have & she was extremely mindful, patient & offered a solution! Dr. Katz was extremely thorough from the exam to the explanation of my next steps. Kira’s follow up was great as well! It wasn’t a rush visit thanks to Kira I didn’t feel on edge about being there.

Experiencia negativa: This is a highly unethical dental practice that will defraud their own patients. I had also received dental treatments and was informed by the billing manager Shannen and dental assistant that my insurance won't cover the expected coverage amount and I'd have to pay 50% up front. They began rushing me when I asked them to explain further because what I was hearing made absolutely no sense. Given that I had a deep and painful cavity and had taken time off of work for treatment, I reluctantly paid and proceeded (big mistake). The office had assured me that if I was correct about the billing, they'd happily reimburse me. The problem is that my insurance DID pay 90% of my treatments, while I was made to pay that 50%. As the other reviewers mentioned, I got turned around in circles and nobody wants to return my calls or talk to me in person to issue a refund. It has become clear that this mess was intentional. It is FRAUD and I will also contact the Better Business Bureau. This office should not be trusted period.

After losing our days pay for dental appointments they canceled mine and moved his closer to 12 noon. So unprofessional and poor customer services Coast Dental in Morrow offer we will never again enter their building or recommend them. The manager was very unappreciative of service we were willing to give them. This would have been our first visit. We should be able to give zero star

Experiencia negativa: I am highly displeased with Coast Dental Morrow's lack of customer service. I made several attempts to have someone verify my insurance in advance/prior to my appointment. I wanted to know how much I will be paying for the service I receive on the day of my appointment. The receptionist told me that she find that information out and contact me before my appointment. However, she didn't. When I arrived, she apologized. I believe I was very understanding and humble. I told her it was okay. However, what was not okay was; I waited two hours for them to verify my insurance and to inform me that they have a 4:00 and they have to see that patient first. I was told "we will see if we can see you after our 4 o'clock." My appointment was at 3. I arrived at 2:30. They called me at 4:25. Very unprofessional! I do not feel that Coast Dental Morrow provided quality service and their lack of effort did not align with the company's core values. They failed to provide achievement and exhibit a positive culture. I would love to make a complaint to headquarters. Also, they lacked empathy and the ability to make me smile. I highly recommend training.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience ever I went in to have my teeth cleaned and the hygienist told me that I wouldn't be able to get my teeth cleaned today because it was her lunch hour after waiting 2 hours. That was very unprofessional. I waited over a month to be able to be seen. Also, office is not clean and unorganized. Don't understand how they have 4 stars.

My appointment was scheduled for 8:30 and at the scheduled time I was in my chair being counseled and prepped to have 4 teeth extracted. From the beginning to the end of my visit I must say the staff was very professional. Dr David Katz and his assistant were awesome. I felt no pain and for me that's amazing. I have never been so comfortable in a dentist chair as I was today and I would reccomend Coast Dental in Morrow to everybody. I look forward to the completion of my dental work. Editing my review due to recent service as initially they were transparent went back to get check up on fill-ins to receive & to get routine cleaning. Was quoted over $200 stating it’s because I maxed out my dental insurance for the year. As it didn’t feel right, I contacted my insurance, then got a 2nd opinion at another Dentist & ALL was covered under same insurance with no out-of-pocket costs. Be careful folks going to this practice, majority of staff is pleasant so courteous comment still stands, you just might be over charged for no good reason.
