Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient of Dr. Redie well over two decades now. I began seeing him when my offsprings were little, and now they are adults in their 20s and 30s—and they continue to see him as well. That kind of longevity speaks volumes about the trust my family and I have in him and the quality of care he has consistently provided. Dr. Redie is straightforward, thorough, and very serious about the care of his patients. He believes in tough love and will tell you what you need to hear, not simply what you may want to hear. At the same time, he is willing to listen when I have questions, concerns, or a different perspective, and there has always been mutual respect. Although he can be firm in and out of the treatment room, he also knows how to reassure and console you, making sure you understand that everything is going to be okay. Over the years, he has completed a variety of dental work for me, and he has consistently done an excellent job. Most recently, he completed my permanent bridge, and I am extremely satisfied. It fits perfectly and looks absolutely beautiful. He was not happy with me for keeping my temporary bridge in for as long as I did, and he made that very clear. However, he also acknowledged that I had taken very good care of it and that everything looked good. That is part of what I value about him—he is honest, direct, and does not sugarcoat anything. I also value the understanding he showed while I was navigating a very difficult period in my life after the loss of my husband. I genuinely value his honesty, the quality of his work, and the care he has provided to my family throughout the years. He has not let me down yet, and I am truly grateful to have him as my dentist. I also have to acknowledge April, who has been there for as long as I can remember. She has always been calm, peaceful, professional, and dependable. She is quiet and no-nonsense, but she gets the job done and has always treated my family and me with kindness and respect. Her steady presence has been an important part of our experience with the office throughout the years.

Experiencia negativa: I rarely write bad reviews because I know that companies have bad days. But here’s the thing, the behavior of the dentist was totally unacceptable. He was not very nice to other patients while I was waiting in my room and when I told him I was in pain when he began my procedure, his reaction was “do you want more anesthesia, or are you just not going to get your filling done today. Those are your two options more medicine or no filling.”. I told him that the pain was bad, he invalidated me and said it was just the vibration, but I know what it should feel like since I’ve had more than one filling done in the past. This was very painful and difficult to bare. Then when I was uncomfortable I said, not today because it was painful, he abruptly left the room and didn’t show concern for why I was still feeling pain after two shots of the numbing medication. If you’re concerned about my overall health, that was an inappropriate response. I left in tears from the pain, but mostly from the disrespect that I felt because I trust his practice and this was an emergency to get done. The only reason there are two stars instead of one, is because the receptionist as well as the dental hygienists are very welcoming, sweet and helpful. But Dr. Redie should be more mindful of how he speaks to people. Unfortunately I won’t be returning, even after being there for 6 years as a loyal patient.

Experiencia positiva: I was glad to be fitted in so quickly because of tooth discomfort. The staff was pleasant and patient, but the dentist was hurried. That was not a pleasing first impression. . However he seems to have alot of patients coming in. I overheard him making friendly conversation with another patient. I will give him the benefit of doubt because I was an add on. Maybe that's why he was hurried rushing in and out. I did not like the fact that he kept asking me about my insurance. How long did I have it. First he said he didn't take hmo, but later came back. He would ask a question and didn't give me much time to answer. Like I said "hurried." He did, however, ask me a few times if I had any questions.

Experiencia fantástica: I was very nervous and kept tensing, but the doctor tried to help me relax enough to get my wisdom tooth extracted, which was quick and took about an hour for everything.

Experiencia negativa: I came in with severe tooth pain and was told I needed extractions. Due to the waiting period on my insurance Dr. Redie sent me home with motrin and penicillin. 3 weeks later I came back because the pain was still getting worse and I decided to pay out of pocket. The day of my appointment, he was very rude, terrible bedside manner, didn’t tell me what he was about to do or what I was about to feel, just started putting needles in my mouth in a rough manner, started to pull my wisdom Tooth (without warning) even though I told him more than once that my mouth wasn't numb enough and I felt pain...he continued to try to pull my tooth anyway telling me it was just pressure and everyone that comes to him feels the same thing and is fine…when I made any noise he would rudely ask questions like “Do you wanna get put to sleep somewhere else for thousands of more dollars or take 2 minutes of pressure” or “Dont you want the pain to stop” … The last attempt I tried to take the “pressure” but made another noise since it was still hurting.. he gave up and dropped the instruments like he was annoyed, took the gloves off and said he’ll refer me somewhere else while looking away and did not acknowledge me again. I went to a different place next day and it was amazing . Numbing worked and tooth was out in 30 seconds. Didn’t feel a thing.

Experiencia negativa: I went for a fill in and a tooth to be pulled , he was rough and wasn’t patient . He kept telling me to open my mouth wide but it was already open as wide as I could get . I came with no pain and left in pain . 0/10 do no recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a real review. Not compensated at all. I have visited Dr. Redie’s office several times throughout the years. He and his staff are always pleasant and welcoming. I have severe anxiety about getting procedures done. However, Dr. Redie calmed me down, assured me that everything would be ok and talked me through each step of my tooth extraction. I will not let anyone else work on my teeth.

Experiencia fantástica: Daniel Redie Family Dentistry 1849 Hwy 138 SW, Riverdale, GA 30296 - I had my bottom right tooth 31 extracted TUE 02APR2024. Dr. Redie and Staff were AMAZING. I was in and out, roughly, 40 mins. The only complaint that I had the assistant kept pressing the suction tool against my lip. Ouch! Next time, I will take my lip balm.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you, Dr. Reddie. I went to you this morning trembling and afraid to get my tooth extracted, though I knew it had to be done! I was so afraid! As the good Lord would have it to be, you extracted that tooth with such expertise and precision that I felt no pain. While he was pulling the tooth out, he was calming my fears. In less than 3 minutes, it was out, with 0 pain. It has been almost 3 hrs. and still no discomfort. And his staff are simply amazing! Kudos to you and your staff!

I have never had any issues with his staff or the quality of work that he does. He is willing to answer any questions that you have and recommend what is best for your situation and not necessarily what is best for his pocket.

Experiencia negativa: My first impression of this dentist was great. I got my tooth extracted with quickness. I like this place because I didn’t have to be sent away with antibiotics because I had an infection prior to the extraction like my previous dentist did! They got it done and sent me home with the antibiotics. EDITED: April 12, 2024- This dentist does great procedures, but he DOES NOT HAVE COMPASSION towards his clients when it comes to getting tooth extractions! The first visit I ignored some of the rude things he said about my teeth WITHOUT asking about my dental history, but this time was just as bad, if not worse! He assumed that I didn't clean my teeth at all, and he said that all my teeth would fall out. That's not true at all, and he wouldn't let me speak up for myself when I tried to tell him about my dental habits. Then, the whole time during the extraction, he badgered me about being still in the chair (which I was) and continued to criticize me about 'causing problems'. Mr Daniel Redie is rude to women (possibly only women of color) and doesn't exhibit passion at all. If you're a woman of color who has decayed teeth mostly due to having many children, more than likely, you might be in the same position. I won't be returning to this guy.

The doctor talked to me the tech talk to me about my teeth . it did not take long I was in and out in less than an hour. Great job ! I would recommend this Dentist the prices are really good.
