I was a new patient today and I got a very warm welcome from the nicest lady that checked me in. Friendly and very positive!! I received complete dental X-rays from up to date dental equipment. I have a few dental issues and I was so nervous going into this exam. Dr Brar presided my complete dental cleaning!! And the nicest cleaning hygienist name Helena finished with fluoride treatment. Experiencia negativa: I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience with this office, which is especially upsetting because I had a great visit here last year and was very happy with their care at the time. This year, leading up to my annual cleaning, the office called me multiple times throughout the week asking me to move my scheduled Saturday 12:30 PM appointment to an earlier time (around 10 AM). I clearly explained each time that I work long hours and that 12:30 PM was the earliest I could come. Despite this, they continued to pressure me to change my appointment. On the morning of my appointment, they called again and told me they needed me to come earlier because “the doctor did not want to wait two hours for my appointment.” I was also told they “usually close early,” which makes me question why they even offer later appointment times if they are unwilling to honor them. I was then told that I would need to reschedule, even though I was fully willing and able to attend my original appointment. I had already rearranged my schedule and stacked multiple medical appointments on my only day off that week specifically to accommodate this visit. Like many working adults, I have very limited flexibility during business hours, and I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect a healthcare office to respect a time slot that they themselves scheduled. As someone who works in healthcare, I found this extremely unprofessional and not patient-centered at all. When I later decided to cancel because I no longer felt comfortable with the level of professionalism, the receptionist simply said, “Okay, I will cancel your appointment and inactivate your account. Goodbye.” No apology, no attempt to address the issue, no basic courtesy. Patients should not be made to feel like their time is less valuable than a provider’s convenience. The lack of respect, communication, and professionalism throughout this entire interaction was shocking. I will not be returning and would not recommend this office based on this experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been coming to Smile Craft Dental for around two years now, and they've been fantastic the whole way through. Dr. Brar is professional, personable, and competent. Her staff is very friendly, and care about their patients: they even remember small things like the artwork I do and recent trips I've been on. It goes to show they pay attention, both in dentistry and in general! I also wanted to add that if you're looking for wisdom tooth removal, Dr. Brar collaborates with the surgeon Dr. De Simone, who comes into SCD's office for the procedure. He was also excellent, and recovery couldn't have gone better.

Not a bad thing, though. I had a deep cleaning and was given laughing gas and novacain...still hurt with the needles but experience will vary due to pain tolerance. My smile looks amazing. For the first time in over 10 years. They do offer payment plans if it all is too much at once. I still have my wisdom teeth removal and some fillings to do, but I look forward to getting it all done! Thank you Smile Craft Dental! (ALSO: Bonus points cuz they let me watch SpongeBob on their TV and listen to it while my teeth were being worked on.)

Experiencia negativa: The office is very nice and clean and the receptionist or office manager was fantastic! My tooth hurts for weeks and they said they would take my pain away. Waited 30 minutes past my appointment others came in after me but were seen first then i go in get one xray and the dentist says oh thats big ill refer you to a specialist. She never said hi, or introduced herself just that i need a specialist. I talked to the specialist and they want 250 up front for another Xray and thats not the total amount it will be closer to 1k total rip off. I think they just do cleanings and have too many patients to care.

Experiencia fantástica: My first time at Smile Craft left me satisfied because Dr. Brar and her staff are kind, empathetic and communicate effectively.  They explain what needs to be done, and describe in detail the recommended timetable in terms of  immediate action needed versus procedures that can wait.   They also took the time to itemize each cost and explain what insurance does and does not cover to determine out-of-pocket costs.  The perioscaling / prophylaxis (deep cleaning that removes plaque, tartar and stains from the teeth) was done smoothly and efficiently and the root planning (smoothing the roots of the teeth so the gums can heal and reattach better) was very much needed and appreciated.   Dr. Brar used resin-based composite, which is white and blends in with the tooth when fillng cavities in both the top and the side (two surface), which can slow the threat of a cracked tooth that could lead to a crown or root canal. If you're in north, suburban Dallas and are currently driving  to someplace far away  and are looking for a dentist that is close by and is trustworthy, competent, and compassionate with good availability and an efficient online check-in in a less congested, upscale environment, I can recommend Smile Craft Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: best dentist i’ve ever been to, recommend it to everyone i can. they accepted my insurance and made it very easy to be seen as a new patient. they were also very flexible when scheduling my future appointments. they even offered payment plans to help make my care more affordable! above all, the actual dental experience was comfortable and seemed genuinely good. they used the pressurized water to do my cleanings instead of just the metal tools and i’d never want to go back to anything else. this location seems like an honest place and they do good work. even convinced a family member who’s had terrible dental experiences to go, and they seemed to take good care of her :) i believe they even offer pain management in house for certain services if they believe it will help with patient comfort. i think this location is good for any age or fear level, and they are affordable, especially given their top notch service. moved away from the area and am looking for a new dentist; i dont think anywhere will be able to replace the experience i had going to Smile Craft Dental Flower Mound

Experiencia fantástica: I came to this dentist because she was well recommended on Reddit. I felt very confident in Dr. Bear’s assessment of my teeth health. I am protective of my teeth and dislike dentists who want to give me aggressive filling plans. She recommended for me to have one of my fillings redone and it turned out to have a large cavity behind it. Ironically, the dentists who were so aggressive to have me fill my small cavities completely missed this one Dr. Bear helped me with. I recommend the laughing gas and she quickly did my cleaning and filling within 30 minutes. I think one of her assistance is new but everyone in the office is very friendly and accommodating.

Full set of X-rays and a deep cleaning, after insurance was $104. Return in a week to have three fillings replaced. Dr Brar was very friendly, gentle, to the point and did not attempt to over sell. When I got to the office for my appointment, I was greeted by two very friendly and helpful ladies at the front desk. Regardless of being a new patient and having to fill out paperwork, I was seen very quickly. My dental assistant, who name was Angelica, was thoughtful and kind. She did everything she could to make me feel comfortable (she let me put Master Chef on the TV! How cool is that?) Angelica and Dr. Brar were both very thorough and transparent with explaining the plan for my appointment and why they recommended certain procedures. I had to have a few fillings and a deep clean of my gums. During the procedures, Dr. Brar and Angelica were a fantastic team and were super patient with me entire time. Im excited to come back and I would highly recommend Dr. Brar and this location to anybody looking to get their dental health straightened out!

My original dentist advised me to wait almost 3 weeks for the endondist but I was in excruciating pain. Dr. Brar was able to see me ASAP and ordered an tooth extraction during that visit. Since my insurance has changed and covers less than it did previously, both my wife and I have been pushed to the limit with the entire staff peddling unnecessary treatment to increase revenue. This morning my wife showed up to her regularly-scheduled standard cleaning and was turned away after waiting 30 minutes because she would not agree to a deep cleaning and some sort of laser treatment that they claimed to be essential (not to mention hundreds of dollars out of pocket). It was an uncomfortable experience, and not our first at this location. As of this morning they have officially lost my business and I discourage anyone else from using Smile Craft Dental in Flower Mound.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Brar and her entire team are truly amazing. I had the best experience at this practice. I have spent so many thousands of dollars on treatment during the last ten years and I am only 23 years old. I have had so many Doctors take advantage of me and sell me treatment I actually never needed. Dr. Brar took a very pragmatic approach to my case and was so incredibly patient with me. Her team was caring and compassionate, fair and very accommodating. Working with the business team in the front office was a pleasure and Amanda was so accommodating with allowing me to set up a payment plan. Claudia made me feel so at ease at all of my appointments while undergoing two new cosmetic bridges. These were long appointments but truly the easiest of my entire life. If you typically feel anxious about dental work you have no reason to at this office, Dr. Brar and her team made it so pleasant. Thank you so much Smile Craft Dental! I have finally found my dental home for life.

Experiencia positiva: Update: Many of the below issues have been resolved. The practice reached out to me, which I appreciate. The woman who spoke to me about my night guard on my most recent appointment is the reason I will not be returning to this practice. She sold me on a $500 night guard because I said I was unsure if my previous guard (which is not old) fit anymore. She said my only option was to throw the upper night guard away and buy a totally new lower night guard. When I came to pick up the lower guard, I voiced my concerns to her that it felt too tight. It felt like my teeth were shifting with it. She had an attitude and was very condescending. She disregarded my concerns. Now I have a useless night guard that I paid a fortune for. She said worst case, throw it in boiling water for a minute. I didn't pay all that money for a guard that doesn't fit that I would have to remold myself. And if the boiling water were an option, why was I not told this about my upper guard? Additionally, I have been feeling very rushed the past few times I've come in. and I've been getting inconsistent advice on my dental concerns. Now it has progressed to the point that I have to go see a specialist. The hygienist who flossed me recently was also extremely rough. The night guard situation was just the last straw

Experiencia fantástica: Doctor Brar is absolutely outstanding! I originally visited her office having a dental emergency and she fixed it in no time. Her staff was equally outstanding! They have always been super accommodating with scheduling as well! I’m so glad I found her! I cannot recommend this office enough!

Experiencia fantástica: Nice clean office, staff were friendly. The dentist was really nice and you can tell she enjoys what she does. She was educating me on different teeth tips and facts and it was kind of cool to listen to and learn, while she was also working on my teeth. She explained everything really well and I will definitely be returning.

She took her time to answer all our questions patiently and gave us very honest advice. By far one of the best experiences we have had at a Dentist office. We would definitely recommend Dr Brar.

Experiencia positiva: Today it was my last day in this practice so I feel like I can leave my honest review : I have been going to this location for a while and I truly adore the dentist and the dentist cleaning team! I’ve been there and treated 8 cavities, did couple cleanings, Fluor treatments etc on this past 2 years I’ve been going to this practice. When I went today something was off tho, the new people working In the front (two white ladies) acted the whole time as sales people and had that commission driven pushy vibe. The dentist said my teeth was good she just suggested a night guard because I complain often of sensitivity, the person that came to talk to me about the prices tho had a certain attitude about her that reminds me of mint dentists that care about profit more than people. Very condescending said my teeth had fissures and I would need crows if didn’t get this 500$ month guard. Today it was more crowded than normal too so I feel like that VIP treatment I normally get (also that cozy neighborhood office feeling when people now you by the name and stuff) was gone and the whole appointment was just rushed. Please bring this practice back to the old ways when customer service was great and people didn’t look down on you for refusing a 500$ month piece they will probably forget to put on. On the way out they tried charging me for a service I didn’t get, which I had to clarify I didn’t get it and they took it out of my bill but also the vibe the whole time was just off! Never had this issue until recently. Thank you for the care provided and best luck to you all.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing dentist and staff! I’ve lived in 5 different states and can say hands down, this is the best care I’ve received. They work quickly and efficiently. Are extremely transparent and honest about services needed. I am always so comfortable in their hands and I am someone who would avoid the dentist if I could. Highly, highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I have struggled for many years to find a dentist that I liked. My search ended @Smilecraft dental (FM). Dr. Kamal is very warm and welcoming. She takes time to explain everything. During my visits she answered all the questions and made me feel comfortable. She is very reliable and trustworthy as she doesn’t impose extra procedures. Her staff is very friendly and my hygienist is also thorough . I have experienced flawless billing and explanation of dental billing challenges. I would highly recommend Dr. Kamal to anyone who is looking for a dentist.
