Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend the techs and dentists! It’s been a good Invisalign experience, although slower than anticipated, but we are getting there! I will say I am disappointed with the receptionist. When I’m there for my 6 month dental cleanings/check ups and refuse a treatment, she is very condescending and disapproving. Since it’s my choice, it’s none of her business what I choose to have done. Also, my last Invisalign appointment was at 8am. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment and had to stand outside the locked front door in the cold until she came to open it. No apology, nothing. Then, contrary to EVERY other appointment I’ve had for the Invisalign, she simply handed me the new trays with no explanation at all. When I asked if I was going to see a Tech, she just said no and didn’t even look up. Very rude. I was never informed of a procedure change and I should have been told. These are training issues and need to be addressed.

Experiencia negativa: If youre looking for quality work, I would look elsewhere. I went in for a denture consultation and was talked into spending thousands of dollars out of pocket, past my insurance coverage, to have all of the teeth repaired and crowned instead of pulled like I wanted. The teeth that were "fixed" look and feel absolutely awful. One of my front teeth that was crowned looks like a chiclet. Its sheet white, perfectly square and half the size of any surrounding teeth. This crown put pressure on my other front teeth causing them to shift, in which one cracked. I went in for a secondary visit to have it looked at and to get fixed and nothing was fixed. Was told that the original dentist that crowned it would have to call me to schedule a time to come back and have it looked at, but never received a call back. Real convenient they received all of my money just fine, but cant call me back to make things right and fix their mistake. So now im out of the money I had saved and set aside to have my teeth fixed and feel worse about them now then I originally did. Im ashamed to smile and really disappointed with the work done at Independence Family Dental Care. The front desk staff were nice, so ill give 2 stars instead of one.

They know you by name and are super warm and welcoming every visit! They frequently have specials and deals that you can’t beat. I literally left thinking “I don’t think there is a better dentist than the one I have.”

Experiencia negativa: I thought i had found a great dentist office. Nope. They are like other greedy people. I have excellent dental insurance but they would not take less than 200 00 a month payment for three months. Who has 200 dollars a month to pay on a bill outside of house or auto. Not this hard working woman. Greed pure greed. Even the hospital works with me for less than that and I owe them a deductible. Do not bother going to this dental office.

I have been getting my teeth cleaned at this location for about 2 years now, & every-time I go in the staff is extremely nice, non judgmental and very flexible. Going to the dentist can be really scary and humiliating for some. I hate to admit this but in the past it has been hard to show up consistently to my appointments at other Dental Facilities. During my first appointment a treatment plan was laid out for me & they gave me plenty of options and referrals. I could really tell they cared about my oral health unlike other dentists that just provide you a treatment plan then send you on your way. I’m feeling more confident about my smile now and will be seeing them in 6months for my cleaning.

That brought my anxiety level down to the minimum. I came in worried and left happy. Thanks to the receptionist whom I met first, to book my appointment. Kudos to all the staff who attended to me. Experiencia positiva: Had a temporary crown put on one front tooth and cavities filled on the other front tooth Thursday afternoon.Dentist didn't wait for numbing gel to work before giving shots,still sore 3-days later. When doing temporary crown the material they used overlapped to the tooth beside so unable to floss. I am unable to get dental floss between the two teeth Where the cavity was filled on other tooth I tried to floss and it got stuck, didn't realize to that evening. I called first thing Friday but because my dentist wasn't in I have to wait until Monday morning. This is my first time going there and I'm hoping that they can correct the issues.

Experiencia positiva: I booked an appointment with this office because they could take me the soonest. I was dealing with some extreme pain due to a wisdom tooth infection and needed to be seen immediately. The staff were very kind. I deducted a star because they were a little too pushy trying to sell me on Invisalign when I was in so much pain. They were able to help me be seen by an oral surgeon elsewhere same day to have my top wisdom teeth extracted.

I tell them every time but they still try. This time they told me fee would be 60 and when done they said it was 90. 30 more for a sealant that they never even asked me if i wanted. Prior to coming to this office i never had to pay any fees. Insurance always covered my visit.

Even though my 2yr old was not ready for the dentist, my dentist and hygienist was still really good at educating and giving me at home techniques that I could do with my 2yr old to better care for her teeth and dental hygiene. Our family loves Dr. McClain and the Independent Family Dental Care team/family. They put great work and care into making sure that you have a better smile that you will be glad to have.

Experiencia fantástica: I am really glad I found IFDC. They got me in a dentist chair and explained everything they was doing and why. The Dentist and hygienist worked really well together. It was like team work. I can't wait for the final results .

Experiencia fantástica: Sometimes you get so busy with every day stuff you put off things that need to be attended to, but you never seem to have the time until you're forced to do so. Such was my case. What got me to call them was the fact that they take my insurance. They're also very close to home, so I went online and set up an appointment. I've done a lot of dumb things in my time, but this isn't one of them. The minute I walked through the door I was greeted then the lady introduced herself as Makayla. She set about doing whatever it is she had to do and the process got started. Later we talked a bit and not only was she very nice, as are everyone I've met so far, she's got a good sense of humor. I'd never seen a dental office set up that way so I took a good look, as much as possible. The more I saw and learned, the more I liked the set up and the way they operate. Nobody like going to the dentist; but the atmosphere there is professional, but it's also very relaxed and that makes me relax. They answered every question that I had whether it was about a procedure or a piece of equipment I'd never seen before. I just got home from another appointment. This time, I didn't dread going. I was actually kind of looking forward to it. My compliments to the staff. Good service, good atmosphere, great staff!

Experiencia negativa: The staff that works on your teeth are great the front of the office where they take care of your bill are awful. They ALWAYS try to squeeze more money out of you NO MATTER WHAT! It’s insane how often they try to overcharge. I suspect they do it to make a profit of some kind. I find it hard to believe it’s not intentional. You can prepay for a service and when they walk you to front after your appointment the people at the desk say you still owe something. Gotta watch the people in the front.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently brought son, who is on the spectrum here. He has terrible anxiety after very bad experience at a different clinic. He also has a horrible gag reflex. The entire staff was very patient with him and set aside plenty of time for his visit. They explained everything that was being done to him and gave him some advice to help with gagging. All of the staff here is amazing and I am so grateful that we found it.

Experiencia negativa: Makayla always has an attitude every time I go there. Everyone else has been amazing. The doctor is amazing and all the hygienist are also so amazing. But Makayla is very stuck up and just doesn’t know how to talk to people and remain professional, in person, and over texts to customers. I’m traveling and trying to get established with a dentist while I’m in Missouri, but this might not be the one. Walking into the building is so dreadful because you never know how you’re gonna be treated by Makayla. Sucks because everyone else is great

Experiencia fantástica: As a child of parents that never took me to the dentist, I went to the dentist for the first time when I was 20 years old. As a result my entire adult life I’ve been chasing dental health and trying to recover from inadequate dental care. Dentists have not been ideal, I grew to be anxious and somewhat fearful from a pain, monetary, and mental perspective. My time with Dr McClain and her staff has changed all of that. While she has had to do quite a bit of work, her and her staff have always been helpful, friendly, informative, and provided different options for treatment. I no longer fear the dentist, and I’m actually quite chill and trusting. In fact, the last root canal was damn near relaxing. And she knows her stuff. During my last visit, she said you’re gonna wanna get this tooth looked at, I’m not gonna be able to handle it so I’m gonna give you a referral to an oral surgeon. I asked her how long I have and she said maybe two months you’ll wanna get that taken care of before the end of the year. I got busy and sidetracked and I’m not joking. I could feel my tooth start to hurt almost 2 months to the day. I also went through an Invisalign session with her and and completely happy with the results. I honestly cannot imagine a better turnaround of perception. If you have work to do, they seem to run several promotions a month and their front office. Staff are super knowledgeable and are very good at communicating with you about scheduling and appointments. So I don’t have enough good things to say about this practice and its staff. A lot of their hygienist have been there a long time so it’s good to continue conversations from visit to visit like they know and remember you.

Experiencia positiva: The Dentist Dr. McClain is awesome. The front office staff and billing department is terrible and rude. I have been a patient here for a number of years and have never had a good experience with the front desk staff. They have always been rude and lack empathy for the patient. They always appear to be money hungry and could care less about the patient situation or financial status. They are prejudice and rude. When discussing payment options they always have a attitude and more than once have had the office manager come out like a sergeant to scare me into paying as though I wouldn’t pay my bill. If it wasn’t for the Dentist I would not continue to visit this location.
