Experiencia positiva: Ive been going here for over 10 years During the tenure of the last 2 dentists that has been here. I went today for a cleaning and I can honestly say it was a 3 star experience, maybe even 2 if it was not for the great receptionist. The new dentist did my cleaning and I could not tell he was the dentist other then his introduction as such. While doing my cleaning he appeared to be rushing and hurt my gums at least 6 or 7 times and kept saying "little sensitive huh" before i had to stop him and asked him to take it easy. He also did not have a grasp on how to handle the suction and water cleaning device at once. I literally left with my beard, top of my shirt and face soaked. Ive never, ever had thay before in my adult during a cleaning. While finishing up and doing the ending flossing, he press too hard down on my permanent retainer on the back of my teeth and caused my bottom row of teeth to tighten and it hurt. He then said "oh, I cant go down due to that thing". At the end of this cleaning, the dentist actually told me to youtube flossing videos. I was floored. After over 10 years, this new guy ruined Hometown for me. I also work with someone else whom had a similar experience with him last week. I only went here as i had a good relationship with Hometown and the receptionist but after moving years back and now this experience i will not be wasting my time and money to have a lackluster experience. Prior hygienist and the prior dentists where amazing.

The hygienists have changed often over the years, but overall have been very professional and thorough. My dentist (Dr.Kaltz ) has been handling things superbly for me for well over a decade! The front office folks are generally efficient and understanding. I have defected once or twice over the years, but always return knowing that HFD is one caring and well run dental office!

Experiencia fantástica: I have not seen a dentist for almost 10 years because of an extreme irrational fear. A bad experience has kept me away for a very long time. Due to this I experienced a dental emergency last week. I called everywhere and the only practice that could and would see me was Hometown. When I arrived I was greeted by Cierra who is extremely warm and friendly. I was called back on time and met my dental assistant Shawny(sp?) who was so very gentle and sincere. When I was told by the dentist I needed a root canal I was anxious but reassured by their calm demeanor and their appreciation for my fear. I will be going back to this practice for all my care and world highly recommend them in the future.

Hygienist was awesome, took her time and made sure everything was perfect. Doctor came in and went through all the xrays with me and made sure I completely understood my issues. Experiencia negativa: I was a patient to this practice for a long time. Recently had a bad experience to where I was having an impression done and it got stuck in my mouth and it took approximately 30 minutes to get out after the dentist needed to use a SAW. It was a very traumatic experience that I would not wish on anyone. I never received a call from the office to check on me to make sure I was okay. A month later I called spoke with a new front desk person explain what had happened and she got the office manager Ciara involved. Ciara made sure to also reach out to the owner of the Business Michelle. I thought all of that was very nice I received an apology and move on with the next steps per our conversation in good faith to receive a check of the full payment of the money I had paid for the partial. Well let’s say that did not go that way. I never received the check and had to reach out not once but twice and not till I contacted my insurance company filed a “Grievance” which every patient has the right to do so was something finally done. Let’s be clear it was never about the money it was the principal. To top it off,Michelle got nasty as per her own words. “ please call the office with your credit card so we can close this chapter and both move on.” Ciara is calling you for your card. I’m on vacation with my family so I just want to move on from this so this is how we’re going to handle it so you don’t have to reach out. Thank you! Michelle Where is the empathy? Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: I get very anxious going to the dentist for anything. But today when I went, I was greeted by a very nice receptionist and then my hygienist was Brionna. Right from the get-go, she made me feel so comfortable and at ease. The whole time she was cleaning my teeth I felt calm, which is unusual for me and then I met the new dentist. Doctor Michera, she was very nice and caring. I came home and told everyone that was the best dental experience I’ve had in a while. The receptionist, hygienist, and the doctor all made me feel very welcome and at ease. I would highly recommend going to this office if you need a dentist.
