Experiencia negativa: ZERO STARS! Backstory: Brought my mom here for to get cleaning done and dentures since they provide prosthodontic care. After the first visit, they said they’ll get authorization from insurance about the dental cleaning and denture fitting. There was no issue with the authorization for deep cleaning, but they kept saying that the insurance hasn’t approved the denture fitting which takes about 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I call again, this time they said they just sent the request last week and it will take 2 weeks for insurance to approve. I called the insurance and said that they never received an authorization for dentures. I gave this dental office the benefit of the doubt and kept calling, each call they kept saying that they sent it last week. I asked for an explanation and they said it just wasn’t done. At one point it was the manager that answered and said that she is sending the authorization request as we’re speaking. A month gone by, I call again and got the same answer - “We sent it last week and it will take about two weeks to be approved”. I’m irate at this point, I called the insurance and said they never received any request for authorization at all After 4 months, multiple phone calls, patience and frustrations, we were just left hanging about this. Idk if they were lying about sending the darn request or they’re just too incompetent to provide care. If you are reading this, I strongly DO NOT recommend this office for your dental care. TL;DR Went here for dentures for my mom and they kept us on a loop of waiting for months for them to send the authorization request when in fact they never sent it.

Experiencia fantástica: OMG! This place is phenomenal. I came in needing assistance with my dental care and when I walked in to the establishment I was greeted with smiles and a great attitude. I was attended on time. When I walked to the back Cristy guided me to my room and worked on my teeth with Janet and my experience was nothing short of amazing!

Experiencia negativa: Here is the TLDR (Even after making an appointment got pushed two hours later and if you’re not careful about listening, they will charge you and make you pay out-of-pocket) I’m giving this place a one star based off the service I had. I was trying to find a new dentist due to my insurance changing. I had An appointment scheduled By the office for 12:30. Three days before the appointment(2 of the days they are closed) They asked me if I can change my appointment to 10:30 AM which is fine as it didn’t really affect my schedule and I was able to move things around to get in earlier. When I show up, they tell me it’s gonna be another 30 minute wait. I then don’t get seen until 12. Then on top of that It’s about 12:30 at this point And they ask if I would like to get my cavities filled and teeth cleaned today? I said yes and they told me they will have the office manager, come talk to me about my insurance and what it will cover. I she gave me all the quotes and I told her I don’t want the special care treatment and I said “ well I don’t want anything that my insurance doesn’t cover” Then they replied well that’s $400 out-of-pocket .So after about 5 to 10 minutes of me, trying to figure out why my insurance does not cover normal cleaning They finally said yes $400 is for the special care treatment. They said “you can brush and scrape off all The buildup, but without the special treatment, it’s Useless.” So I said that’s fine. I just need the cleaning. I don’t want the special stuff. The response I got was “ OK oh well, it’s up to you. It’s your mouth and teeth“. So after I denied the $400 Out of pocket charge, apparently the doctor that was going to do the cleaning is now “on lunch” So now they can’t do any work and they’re gonna have to set an appointment and the next available appointment is A month out.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst place I’ve ever been to. You will wait a minimum two hours for a simple x-ray.. we’ve rescheduled twice and I’m not the only one I’ve seen four people reschedule since I’ve been sitting here. Do not waste your time coming here. It is a joke.

My wife showed up for a cleaning, they told her she had 10 cavities and said “if you don’t agree to treatment now, we’ll raise the price on you when you return.” We decided to get a second opinion. She had 0 cavities. We will be reporting to the BBB.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience at Western Dental Menifee! Dr. Hassan was very careful and gentle when he did my cleaning. The dental assistant Venessa was very diligent and helpful. The other dental assistants were also very friendly and alert. They knew my name and quickly rebooked me for my next 3 month appointment. It was a very good visit all around. Thank you. I highly recommend this office. 7/16/26 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Return visit for deep cleaning to prevent bone loss by Dr. Nguyen. I’m glad Dr. Nguyen is back from maternity leave. She is very thorough and professional.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Nguyen and Venessa did a great job. Always a good experience and no hard sales lady at end of appointment. Good Dentists and Staff. Alway helpful and I never feel like a hard sales person is next. They do a very good job acting as dentists not tin man sales practices which I have experienced many times. First dentist in 20 years that actually shows real bed side manner, care and understanding from staff to dentists. Highly recommend!!

Experiencia negativa: I’m giving this location one star because zero stars is not an option. This is the second time I’ve had a bad experience here. The first time, I waited a very long time to be seen, which is why I didn’t come back for almost two years. I decided to give them another chance, but unfortunately, nothing has changed. I scheduled my appointment yesterday for 3:30 PM and arrived at 3:35 PM. The front desk person was very nice, but I was told there was a 1.5 hour wait and asked if I wanted to wait or reschedule. That makes no sense. Why schedule appointments if you can’t honor them? I understand waiting 15 or 20 minutes, but an hour and a half is completely unacceptable. They clearly do not respect people’s time. I will not be coming back, and I do not recommend this location unless you are okay with long waits and poor scheduling.

Experiencia negativa: Who ever is the manager in this dentistry should be fire, because customer service horrible and unprofessional. I tried to call them in the office so I can talk to front desk people regarding about my medication information and it seem no one picking up the call which I know the fact they dont want to pick up the call because they are too busy having a chit chat and gossip with other coworkers. I saw this in person when I go for my appointment which is unprofessional.

Experiencia negativa: No stars. They are horrible. They take your insurance benefits, then ignore you. I never had a good visit. I’m out an extra $1,000 my insurance didn’t cover, and now I have to redo two root canals and extract another tooth they worked on. They left a temporary crown on for a year, even after 6–7 emergency visits to replace it. The doctor told me I still had an infection and needed the crown ASAP but refused to prescribe antibiotics for months. Eventually the tooth broke in half and became so loose and painful that I would literally scream if I hit it. When I came in ready to pay for a bone graft, the doctor told me to book ASAP, but the front office refused to schedule, saying they “didn’t know his schedule for a month” and would call me later. They also refused to book the crown that was already in. I never got a call back. When I called for a week, the office never picked up; once I waited 45 minutes only to be hung up on. It was a nightmare. They also made me do five full‑mouth X‑rays in about a month and a half just for temporary crowns, with no clear explanation. Later an X‑ray tech said they kept cutting off the tooth in the image so insurance denied it—yet my new dentist got a clear X‑ray on the first try. When I mentioned the radiation, the tech laughed it off but couldn’t explain why she hides behind a wall if it’s “no big deal.” My new dentist had to redo a cavity filling because Western Dental didn’t remove all the decay. I now have to redo one root canal, extract another, get a bone graft, and eventually an implant—very expensive, and all because their work was done poorly. I strongly recommend going to New Smile Dental in Lake Elsinore instead. They get you in the same day, communicate clearly, do quality work, treat you like family, and cost less. They also take Medi‑Cal. Western Dental Menifee is horrible all around. Do not go here!

Experiencia negativa: If you want to be treated like your human and your life matters. You had better pay for all the upgrades that you insurance doesn't cover. Including letting them put dead people bones in you after an extraction. If you don't they will not take the time to do the job right and string you along to nickel and dime your insurance with follow up appointments. They will get their money one way or the other. And not care about what it is doing to your physical and mental health. This is their PR team trying to save face, the reply below is a lie. They have never tried to remedy this. They just want me to book an appointment so they can bill my insurance more. Do NOT trust them.

Experiencia negativa: This was my 2nd time in there I got a tooth pulled out and put in a bone graph with stitches and they messed up again for not sending my medication to the pharmacy im in so much pain. That I can barley think. I feel like there in such a rush to get out that they forget to send the medications over it can't be that hard. I will be going back in person tomorrow to have them send it to pharmacy. Im not sure if I really want to keep going with them

Experiencia negativa: They use a call service in the phillipines to schedule appointments. I gave my insurance and insurance number and the idiots scheduled my appointment. They didnt tell me I wasnt In Network. I took the day off, wasted my time to find out in person that they were out of network. After I left called a dentist down the street, spoke to an american in the actual dental office and found out in 2 minutes that I was in network. This is what happens when you outsource. Dont use this place.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely atrocious dental office. They knew my child’s age well in advanced to us coming here, when we got here they tried to they wouldn’t be able to fix any cavities or so any treatments her because she’s not 11 and then they tried to backtrack and say oh we can see her as long as she acts right. Then they had us sitting in the waiting room for an hour, moved us to an exam room just so we’d stop asking how much longer, then just had us endlessly sitting in the exam room as well. We’re currently here still waiting in the exam room. Absolutely awful customer service and no consideration for their patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Hasan and his staff were extremely gentle and kind with my daughter and I. No upselling just told us what we needed. I’m not a fan of going to the dentist but I look forward to visiting again.

Experiencia negativa: I can't recommend this place, especially if you're Black and have braids. During my initial visit for a 2 PM general cleaning, I wasn't seen until 2:35 PM. They took 32 X-rays, then told me I needed a deep cleaning and had to reschedule. This first appointment took an hour and a half, just for X-rays and scheduling. At my second appointment, scheduled for 11 AM, I wasn't seen until 11:39 AM. The hygienist who performed the deep cleaning was very nice and finished by 12:15 PM. This office seems to overbook, leading to rushed work and missing spots. Since my time is valuable, I won't be returning.

Experiencia negativa: Western Dental and Orthodontics has some of the worst customer service I have every experienced. 11 months ago I took my son in to be assessed for braces and all in the same day they put on his braces on the top teeth. I paid in full, not a good idea. The next week I realized that our insurance actually does cover a portion of Orthodontics. They said it would take 30 to 45 days to resolve. From May until the end of 2026 I would ask about the refund at every apt., which feel like we in there constantly with us and our two teenagers.They always responded like they were still waiting for a response. So I just passively let it go thinking it probably an problem with the insurance company. Only to find out 9 months later they never sent in a request until November. All.the times I asked they just paid me lip service. My insurance promptly paid in less than a month at the begining of December. We are now going into March and they still have not refunded my money. So they charge my insurance for a service I had paid them in full for and don't seem to have the ability to refund me. They office manager gave me a number of "Corporate"I would have to call to take care of it and that she could do nothing on her end. The number to "Corporate" is a number to their collections department. They of course had no idea how to help me and said they would need to speak with a person at the dental office. I happened to be in their waiting room and gave the phone to their office manager. She took the call to look at me a laugh and say this isn't someone from billing. I told her they said they had to speak with someone at the dental office. A few moments later. CRYSTAL gave my phone back and told me that I would just have to keep calling that number until someone could connect me to billing. Well countless calls and hours upon hour of phone calls. They just send you in circles. Saying the people in the office need to put in a request or that that is not what their job is. The office would have to refund me. I went into the office in person and once again the manager dismissed me and said their is nothing she can do. She didnt offer an "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, no avvepting accountability for their lack of followthrough. Blamed it on the manager before her. Nightmare. I hope no one has to experience the crazy that is Western Dental. Now I have to report them and insurance fraud is a big deal. It's a medical office not only can they receive hefty fines but also loose their license. I don't think it is fair to those Doctors and nurses, but 11 months without a resolution is a total lack of competence. Today I had to feel out paperwork to the California Dental Board, California's consumer Affairs, and the BBB. Sad, not sure why it has to come to this. No fun.

Experiencia negativa: My appointment was at 10:30, I wasn't called in to the back until 12, no one came back into the room until 12:30. They also pulled about 5 people to the back at the same time (I'm assuming they did this just so they wouldn't walk out). I would say they are mismanaged but thats a gross understatement. This dental office only cares about the money they are making and not their patients. Why would so many people be scheduled on the same day when there is obviously not enough staff to handle the amount of volume. I ended up walking out after I was asked if I had been aenesthesized yet, the answer was no because the lady was more interested in getting me to pay for some other treatment than doing what was already agreed upon. Ridiculous office and horrible care. I guarantee someone is not doing their job properly or management is trying to get their profits up at the cost of losing patients, well you just lost one. Definitely will be talking to my insurance company and making sure no charges are filed. UPDATE: DO NOT GO HERE

Experiencia negativa: I came in for an emergency situation & had an appointment & was told "that my insurance needed approval for an emergency extraction" & since I couldn't get the approval at all. So I told them this is an emergency & I will pay out of pocket & the receptionist told me "all we can do today was just an exam" & can not extract my tooth today even though they knew my appointment was for a tooth extraction, I ended up having to go to my old dentist of mine & was told "this is without doubt an emergency & needs to be extracted a.s.a.p" had it not been extracted it could have led to a fatal situation. DO NOT USE WESTERN DENTAL

Experiencia negativa: This woman dentist (The Main Woman Dentist Their that runs that place destroyed my 2 front teeth FOREVER !! she DRILLED my teeth to POINTS cause she said I can get crowns 2 times they were sent back for not fitting right. these were not even six months on. about a week ago one of my tooth was sensitive to the touch 3 days later it broke off. I have a new dentist now and I had to have a root canal done and now have to go see a specialist on this tooth I expect the other crown to fall off since she drilled it to a point also so now I walk around with no tooth a tooth that nothing was wrong with it only a ridge at the tips.had an appointment for cleaning all they do is pick at your teeth and run that electric tooth brush with some tooth paste and your done it’s a ripe off im waiting to see the specialist dentist cause of this Dentist woman which I believe is the one in charge there small Asian woman dentist. I also plan on going to the state board on her. Will see how my appointment goes with the specialist.

Experiencia negativa: For the love of God, stay away from this clinic. Dental assistants are incompetent and don't even know the machines they are using. They just click and go without knowing anything about it. I'm not gonna go into details. Even the Dentist prioritizes doing extra stuff on you so they can get more money out of you (or your insurance). I'm sick and tired of these businesses trying to squeeze money out of you. This is not a good place for yourself or your kids. Go somewhere else. You've been warned. They are need here for your dental health. They are here to take your hard earned money. * They will reply here and apologize and give you a resolution or something but in reality, it is just for show. Don't buy that. They will still do thesame thing over and over again. Incompetence cannot be changed. They all need to go back to school and really study. They can't wing this and pretend that they are really good at their job. * Do yourself a favor, read all the negative reviews here. It will tell you more about this clinic and how they respond to things. If people are still complaining even after they said they will address the same issue, that means nothing happened from the case months ago. It is not hard to put two and two together. * one more thing, my appoint was the very first one of the day. I was there when they weren't even open yet. Guess what? They called me after an hour and a half of my appointment. Unbelievable. If you call this efficiency and competence then we are doomed.

Experiencia negativa: Rude and confrontational. Didn't get my questions answered and charged unexplained additional charges. Went in for a check up and bullied into paying for a deep cleaning. Dentist was condescending and disrespectful. Never coming here ever again. I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at this dentist’s office was extremely disappointing. The dentist rushed through the exam and didn’t take the time to answer my questions. I left feeling unheard and frustrated. I won’t be returning and wouldn't even recommend this office to my ex girlfriend. There was no care or compassion, just a rushed and impersonal experience. Two thumbs down. No stars ⭐️

Experiencia negativa: Staff is absolutely disrespectful. I’ve gotten hung up on twice and I talk very monotone and just wanna get stuff handled and nobody wants to help me. And don’t bother Making appointments with the call center apparently they don’t go through so if you are planning to reschedule, make sure it’s with the main office. And if you’re showing up for an appointment, make sure you’re prepared to sit in the lobby for an hour. Nothing is done Quick and efficient it’s always quick and half done and rushed. The staff at the front never wants to help you just always tells you to sit down and wait even if you’ve been waiting for over an hour or if you have to reschedule an appointment they’re always extremely rude. 100% suggest going somewhere else. Also, as someone who can only afford somebody like Western dental, I would still rather go to Mexico or pay to get my teeth done then going here

Experiencia negativa: I had an extremely frustrating experience at Western Dental that left me questioning the professionalism and ethics of their orthodontic department. We were there for almost two hours, with over an hour spent just waiting in the lobby. The front desk staff took us off the patient list to "run our insurance"—even though I had already provided that information when I made the appointment earlier that same day. When I asked why they asked for the info earlier if they weren’t going to use it until now, they had no answer. Then I was told, “Oh, we don’t run insurance for same-day appointments.” So… why ask for it in the first place? After I asked when we’d be seen, the front desk person admitted she forgot to put us back on the list after removing us. Her response? A casual “lol what?!” Unbelievable. Once we finally got called back, the ortho doctor rushed the entire visit. He barely looked in my son’s mouth (with his eyes only, no X-rays), mumbled something about a treatment plan in about 3 minutes, then ran off to another patient. I asked the assistant (who was the only helpful person there) if the doctor would be doing X-rays before recommending such a painful and invasive treatment. She kindly asked the doctor to reconsider, and he came back visibly annoyed, saying he didn’t need X-rays to know what was going on inside the gums and that he was saving my son from radiation. Then, he accused me of “shopping around for quotes” from 6 other offices, just because I had gotten one other quote that was half the price of what they were charging. His tone became increasingly defensive and condescending. I mentioned I’ve had braces myself and have put several of my children through orthodontic treatment, and never has a doctor suggested something so extreme without properly examining the patient. He became even more arrogant and dismissive. At that point, I asked the assistant to just print out the quote then there was a bit of pressure to sign the deal or the price cut they were giving me would be off the table same day if I don’t sign today (lol they were charging double so I can pay the same amount after deductions from insurance as if I had no insurance at all) and let them know I would not be moving forward. The entire experience was rushed, disorganized, and completely unprofessional. The treatment recommendation felt irresponsible and unethical given the lack of proper examination. I will absolutely not be returning and would strongly advise others to avoid this office, especially for orthodontic care.

Experiencia negativa: Melissa works here at the front and is considered a Manager , she is rude unhelpful, and always has an attitude. I have an issue and asked for help and she told one of her assistant to help me while her assistant went ahead to help me get my tooth brush I was promised when I got my kids braces here when they were going to give it to me she jumps back on the conversation and tells her that is wrong information . She does not want to help in anyway . She has the worst attitude and never wants to help . This is coming from multiple patients from this office. It’s time to reach out and find a solution . Experiencia negativa: They wont tell you all the charges at once. My husband and I went for our initial check up. The lady told me my copay for the deep cleaning. When I am about to settle the amount because they won’t give you an appointment unless you pay upfront, the price was higher from the one that we discussed. I was surprised and asked why. The lady is so rude and she asked me what is my concern. I told her MONEY. I almost told her that lady money doesn’t grow on trees. The amount you are telling me now is higher than the one that we discussed. Then she told me about this additional fee for treatment. I feel like they are not being honest. I don’t like hidden charges and that feeling of being taken advantage of. That’s what that lady made me fell. I made a payment for my deep cleaning copay and she asked me if I still want the treatment and she told me that it was covered by my insurance. Of course I said yes if it’s covered. Then when I was looking at my receipt there is a $140 additional charges aside from the deep cleaning copay. I really don’t mind paying for as long as I am told clearly all the charges that I am paying for. This dental clinic is very sneaky. The people in front are so rude and intimidating so you won’t ask questions. Overall my experience is not pleasant. We will just finished all the treatment that we have paid for and I will be looking for another dental clinic. STAY AWAY!!!

Experiencia negativa: They constantly overbook appointments, make you wait in the lobby for hours and hours past your appointment times, to be in and out of a room in minutes. Nobody in that building knows what is actually going on. Some of the office workers are apologetic about the wait, where others are snobby and act like they are bothered by you being there interrupting their court room/political views they inappropriately play on the lobby TV.

Experiencia negativa: Bring your lunch/ snacks/ dinner with you if you decided to visit this office. Be ready to lose a whole day! 3-4 hours just to be seen, and after they finally called us to the back they ended up telling us no X-ray tech available at the office. More than an hour wait in the treatment room just for the dentist to give my husband a prescription for antibiotics so there was no treatment done! I cancelled my appointment hoping to make it less wait time for my husband since he was in a lot of pain but it didn’t make any difference. They obviously over book. Regardless if you have an appointment or not, you’ll be treated as a walk in.

Experiencia negativa: I’m nervous for my appointment this Sat. I hope all my dentist instruments are cleaned without any fecal matter on them and he is careful with his lidocaine measurements, other than that I know I have issues I feel I may be in danger but I could be wrong.

Experiencia negativa: DON'T TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE Made a appointment because my daughter has a tooth ache and is in pain. I took off work and got my daughter out of school. We waited a hour and then was told the dentist wasn't there and we would have to reschedule. So today I had to take off work again and take her out of school. We waited 2 hours and then the assistant told my daughter that we should just leave and wouldn't be seen because they over booked. The receptionist is the most rude and unprofessional person ever. You can tell she hates her job and the people that need help. What happened to this place? It used to be good. So now we have to scramble and find a dentist that actually has a dentist so my daughter can be out of pain. This place needs to treat people like humans with empathy instead of a assembly line. Office management should have someone pose as a customer to see how unprofessional and rude the receptionist is. I have spent over 10k at this place getting my daughter braces and it's a shame what it's turned into.

Experiencia negativa: .i would like to warn people about wasting their time with this office. After the first initial visit in which included x-rays and quote, i was scheduled for the repair of a fallen filling. when i show up they refuse to provide service if i didn’t receive a full mouth deep cleaning and get mouth guards. the front girl insisted that they explained this circumstance before but then she remembered that she didn’t explain it to me because she didn’t schedule me in that moment. ..i waited a week and called back and scheduled the repair of the filling and they didn’t say nothing- they confirmed the appointment as a filling repair -billing even called me the day before to confirm and i even repeated the out-of-pocket cost and she said “ok”.. what a waist of time

I made an appointment for a cleaning for my kids, when we arrived they said they would only have an exam and we would come back for the cleaning, but if I rescheduled for a Friday, they could do the cleaning. So I rescheduled. They called the night before to confirm and asked if any of my kids had cavities. How would I know that- isnt that your job?? When we came back, they said they didn't know if they would have time for the cleaning. The front office staff is rude, disorganized and not trained. The girl doing the x-rays kept asking other office staff how to do it, how to work the machine and how the read it. What a mess this place is. We won't be back.

She's very receptive to my questions and forthcoming with answers. I always leave with a smile. An improved one at that.

They have been through multiple orthodontist since we've been going there, several months now. The first orthodontist put her brackets on crooked and until I finally brought it up AGAIN for the 10th time, they actually fixed them. It's messed up her front teeth even more. I would never recommend them. I get weekly calls to pay off her balance in full "for a discount". We pay month to month. They are the worst orthodontist I've ever been to. Absolutely beware.

The entire staff, including the doctor/dentist, himself, is unprofessional, rude, and rough. The upscaling is outrageous. Three female staff members loudly discussed patients' financial and insurance info in a very undisclosed manner within earshot of the entire office. I was so embarrassed for that woman as they sat there and discussed her business out loud, and as I quote, 'No no, don’t do that. Don’t give her that, she can’t afford it. Her insurance doesn’t cover it, I mean, well it’s whatever the doctor wants to do,' in the most snarky way. When it was time to reschedule my children’s. No mommy please No. as my teenage daughters this close to me how rude and rough and then my 10-year-old comes out, straggling, wobbly by herself with no assistance.

Experiencia negativa: Garbage no matter what you go there for they want you to get a deep cleaning it’s always something to charge you I just got a deep cleaning not even 6 months ago somewhere else and I keep explaining to them but the other day when I went and they wanted to do a exam because I hadn’t been there in over 6 months they said I have to do the exam I said I couldn’t wait I’d come another day and I left they called and said the doctor said you can do a deep cleaning this is before I even did a exam and not being there for more than 6 months and I said no I’ve done a deep cleaning already in fla I just need my 3 month the lady says oh no we wouldn’t be able to do that but you can come and do the deep cleaning that makes no sense.

Experiencia negativa: Update* Your staff is rude and they talk down on you for asking legitimate questions about your teeth. When you call to explain your having issues they don’t offer any solutions to help- for example : the sutures from the extraction site are too long and are cutting my mouth and soft palate, I can’t eat because of it causing more irritation- they tell me there’s nothing they can do about it and to wait for them to dissolve in 2 -3 weeks. They never offered to have me come back to adjust it so I cut them off myself after days of them not doing anything about it. Crown was made too big didn’t fit - I sat in the chair for 2 hours while the dentist kept trying to make it work when it was clear it needed to be re done as it was just not done properly but was made to feel stupid asking me “how do you know it’s too big? How would it be wrong size if it’s a mold of your tooth?” — At the 6 month recall the doctor didn’t diagnose a tooth with obvious signs of decay so. I asked her to please diagnose that tooth but she just looked at me like I was crazy, asking me if I had pain because nothing was there. I told her that there is visible signs decay and I need her to diagnose it. So when she double checked the X-ray , looked in my mouth I asked if I was right and she confirmed diagnosis about it needing treatment. she made a big fake smile and walked out saying that the front office will come up to go over the treatment plan, then schedule me but two days go by and no one calls me so when I call the office to find out what exactly we’re doing they tell me basic response “fillings” and that the treatment plan should have been discussed with the doctor at the exam. She just went over her findings (which is why I asked her to diagnose a specific tooth she missed at that time) So I explained to the front office how the doctor walked out on me during the exam Saying the front office will do that but you tell me the opposite. Karina specifically responded with attitude that that’s how our office works. We don’t know What treatment we will do until you are in the chair and That they don’t do treatment plans, the doctor decides what they want to do and where to start at that time and they bill as they go. Ive worked Dental front office, dental back office, treatment coordinator, lab apprenticeship and I’m not familiar with Surprise treatment plans or treating patients this way. You don’t even follow up with patients after any major procedure. Shouldn’t you call to check on a patient a few days to a week or so after they have an RCT or XB or to say how’s your crown feeling? Nothing? You expect the patient to jump through hoops just to contact you yet don’t do anything about it when they do. It just shows lack of care for your patients and It’s all business. Your office is disorganized and is completely unprofessional In many aspects and I do not recommend this office to anyone. She’s Complaining that her workload is “too much” for her than she needs to figure something else out because projecting her attitude on patients is very rude, unprofessional and off putting.

I went in for something I was very concerned over and they didn’t communicate it at all to her so I had to bring it up repeatedly. They gave me a referral and said call around and see who would take my insurance then tried to get me to schedule further appointments with them. Never going back.

Experiencia negativa: The front desk ladies are incredibly rude and impatient, I am pretty sure her name is crystal. The dentist is nice but a horrible dentist. I had a root canal done and everything went ok but the dentist used a hot tool of some sort that’s included in the surgery but they touched it to my lip accidentally and burned my lip very very bad. When the root canal was over it was time to put in the permanent filling (which took about a month to approve) but they failed at that 4 times… I’m not joking. Every attempt to put the crown on they drilled my tooth and they have drilled it so much that’s there is barely any tooth left! DO NOT GO HERE!

Unfortunately, this is not the case both times we have come to this office. We have had over an hour wait with the front staff, seeming to not care at all. Todays Review: I was able to get an appointment today and called to confirm everything at 12:00pm. I gave them my insurance info, reason for the visit, and promised I would be there. My appointment wasn’t until 2:15pm and I showed up at 1:50. The first clue should have been when they asked if I was there for braces, I told them no, I needed a new patient exam and then I needed to see the dentist for some mild pain. Apparently, someone had scheduled me for braces even though I don’t need/want them. After completing all my paperwork and handing it back in prior to my appointment time I proceeded to sit in their little waiting room with not enough chairs and waited. Then I waited and watched person after person come in, check in, and then head back. Finally after nearly an hour I walked up and asked what the holdup was. Apparently they were still waiting on my insurance confirmation which I gave them 2 hrs prior to my appointment time. They said they received the fax but had since lost it and were trying to get it all updated. After a brief discussion I finally just told them that I would like a new appointment and to call me when they had their act together. They rescheduled me for Friday. So stay tuned for an update if I even give them another chance. Oh and one more thing, they were literally in my chart to write the appointment and still spelled my name wrong as they were reading it off the screen. Zero attention to detail. UPDATE: So Friday came and they called me back saying that I am not in their insurance plan even though I found them through my insurance providers website. Sooooo we are done. We moved to a different provider.

Not to mention they mixed up my documents with a person who has the same name as me but different middle names. I'm very frustrated they pressured me into getting a $2,000 toothbrush and toothpaste. I will admit SOME of them are friendly but now I need to remove this random person off my credit report because of them and I still need my wisdom teeth removed after 8 months of me waiting to hear back.

Since my initial visit, our insurance company was charged twice for a service, a different claim was filed improperly (costing us more money), and follow-up visits have turned out to be for a service other than we were originally told. We've also needed replacement dental gels that are rarely in stock, then had to justify needing them to a snarky representative! Recently, we were sent home with a defective electric toothbrush. When we returned it the next day, we were told a replacement would be sent in two weeks, but it never arrived. A month passed; we followed up, and were told to call the manufacturer ourselves. We did; the manufacturer had never received a replacement request from Western Dental. ORIGINAL POST: Emily at Western Dental is an exceptional assistant and stood out to me among her more experinced co-workers. She was professional, pleasant and genuinely friendly, but not overly so. She informed me in advance about every step in the process that she would be taking and what I could expect. She went above and beyond to ensure that I remained at ease. She seems like a naturally positive person who enjoys her work, which makes a trip to the dentist a little less dreadful.

Experiencia negativa: The dentist’s office is highly unprofessional. They’re consistently overbook, and the staff often have rude attitudes because of it. The receptionists all tend to use overly casual language (as in being “hip”), and it’s clear they lack professionalism. Over the past year, the service has drastically declined. Appointments get confirmed only to be abruptly rescheduled at the last minute, often in a dismissive manner. #VeryUnprofessional The newer, younger dentist (whose name I don’t know) is incredibly rude and condescending. She doesn’t explain procedures and goes straight to numbing and drilling. Her attitude is dismissive and snobbish, so be prepared. Because of her poor communication, I ended up with unnecessary fillings (on my wisdom teeth). Seems as if she was using me for practice. And let’s not forget, they often suggest services that you might not actually need. So be mindful.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been going here for a couple years for pretty mediocre service. Wasn’t thrilled with them, but it was tolerable for the basics. The reason for two stars instead of one is for the assistants that appear to genuinely be kind while handling a high volume work load, as well as the dental hygienist I saw once. The doctor was nice enough, but always seemed in a rush to get in and out. Today was my last time going, however. After 50 minutes in the lobby with lots of other people, I was called back to have x rays done. From when I was called back, I waited an additional 45 minutes for the doctor to come in. I ended up going to find someone to see how much longer it would be approximately. She couldn’t tell me and pointed to a screen that showed names of people to be seen. I asked where I was on the list and she said it didn’t go in order so she didn’t know. At that point I told her I was leaving and went to tell the front desk. They said they could reschedule me, so I asked if I could schedule my cleaning and have the doctor give her input that day as well. Sure, but making an appointment for a cleaning doesn’t guarantee they’ll actually get to you. I asked if I could schedule then that morning call to see if it looked like they would have time to see me, when I have an appointment. Nope, they can’t tell me the day of either. You just have to go in at your appointment time and hope for the best. Like everyone, I have a busy schedule so when I make an appointment, I expect to actually be seen and have my time respected. I don’t know what kind of ridiculous business model this is, but I genuinely hope there are changes in the future to do better for your patients.

Crystal was amazing explaining everything to me and what was covered and what I would pay out of pocket for my services. I unfortunately had to have two teeth extracted and Dr. Batool and was so amazing. She not only waiting for me to be completely numb before starting,. When I told her I could feel pain she stopped and numb me more and explained she could give me so much numbing medicine and explained why. Once I was completely numb again while extracting my teeth she kept asking how I was doing the whole way through the procedure. Her associate who was helping her also kept talking to me and say I am doing great through the whole procedure. They both made my anxiety go completely down and I was very pleased with everything. I would recommend this place to family and friends. I am definitely coming back for more services.

So, I have been lied to, gone without teeth for almost 6 months, not seen when I have appointment, and now my implants are missing. Do not waste you time here. I am out about 10 grand and have nothing to show for it and no hope in sight. Hey but I filed a grievance, I am sure that will fix everything. What a complete joke. Instead of going here just smack yourself in the face and throw a few thousand dollars in the trashcan, then waste hours on the phone and driving back and forth to the office and its just like you went to this office.
