Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been alive for 52 years this week and in those 52 years had a chipped front tooth fixed twice. Today I had to have it fixed again. By far this was the best experience ever in getting it done and by FAR the best work by a dentist I’ve ever experienced. From the shot in the gums to the rebuilding of the chipped tooth this dentist was an artist. Extremely fast and good at what they do. Highly recommended.

Experiencia negativa: I was referred to this clinic for two fillings. I stated to them that I have issues with my jaw, it locks when it’s open for long periods of time and I can’t accommodate everything and I might need breaks during. I understand that that can make difficult during dental visits, but they assured me that they could accommodate. During my filling, they were very rough, put way too much pressure on my jaw, and the dentist was very rude and continued to tell me that “ i am just fine” They had to fix one of the fillings three times because it was done incorrectly. The only good thing about it was that it was quick for two fillings but afterward, I am in so much pain and I’ve never been in so much pain for just a filling and my jaw hurts. I would not go there again.

Experiencia negativa: The anesthesia was not strong enough for a person who has severe anxiety and the pain management system seems to be compromised by the epidemic and they treat everyone on the same basis even when expressed strongly by the patient. I was even willing to provide documentation to support my need for stronger meds management and was completely ignored. I cried for almost 10 minutes after the procedure due to having a panic attack in which I knew would happen from pain management. My normal prescription for anxiety is stronger than the medication given for anesthesia. I will not be spending almost 2000 dollars for a place that doesn’t take my pain seriously. I do understand the medical history states that a certain demographic has a higher pain threshold but that is totally incorrect and discriminating against people and leads to complaints filed with the board of health. I hate having to suffer because my concern is not taking seriously and I definitely have to speak out because in order to correct this places need to here this. I had to go to the hospital following the procedure just to not have a full on panic attack due to severe pain and anxiety from my experience and I was so disappointed in that .

Everyone from the front office ladies , the young lady taking my Xrays, the dental assistant and the Dentist where top notch. They had a true family atmosphere. I can't say enough great things about the atmosphere. My last dentist missed some issues I had even though I explained the issues to them. Not NWS, they told me everything that needed to be done, performed the work immediately, fast and efficiently. Best experience I have ever had at a Dentist office. I will never use another dental office!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve gone here twice now. Both times with Dr. Joung. I do not recommend this place at all. First of all, the dentist is the one that cleans your teeth, which I thought was strange. The first time was back in Sept 2025. It was a good experience, not many complaints. It wasn’t the best cleaning I’d ever had, but it wasn’t bad. However, they tried to bill my insurance twice for my cleaning. My recent cleaning March 2026 was awful. My teeth were not clean after leaving this place. My appointment was at 4, the dentist started cleaning my teeth at 4:06, finished cleaning at 4:14 and I walked out of the office at 4:24, to give you a perspective of how rushed everything was. I take good care of my teeth, but never in my life, have I had a cleaning that only takes 8 minutes… with majority of that time being focused on my bottom front teeth because I have a permanent retainer there. If it weren’t for that, the entire cleaning probably would have been 2 minutes. She was extremely rough and not thorough at all and rushed the entire cleaning, clearly with the time window. She just did a quick once over on all the rest of my teeth with the waterpik but kept scraping my gums with it. I kept flinching and pulling my head back because it hurt and I don’t have gum sensitivity. I could taste a bunch of blood in my mouth. My gums were sore and swollen for the next 2 days. When she said she was done I was shocked and looked at my watch, like no way she’s already done. Then the hygienist didn’t polish the front of my top teeth. I was so eager to get out of there. I was looking at my gums when I got in the car and there was something brown in between two of my teeth… tell me how you leave a dental cleaning with a piece of food still stuck between your teeth… absolutely awful experience.

Experiencia negativa: I was sent off base for a few small surface cavities, and the whole experience was awful from start to finish. The front desk staff came off cold and unfriendly. The dental hygienist had a rude tone, and the dentist wasn’t any better. They polished my teeth like they were on some desperate quest for the Holy Grail, then rushed through the entire process like they had somewhere better to be. When the dentist came in — Dr. Waung, or whatever her name was — she was immediately off-putting. She barely gave any warning before jamming the needle into my gum line like she was trying to win a javelin competition. Then she switched sides and somehow managed to poke my lip too. Hope she took first place. Right after that, she immediately started going to work on my teeth with a drill or some kind of tool without even telling me what she was doing. Everything happened so fast it felt like they had money riding on a horse at the Kentucky Derby. Honestly, it made me question whether they even knew what they were doing. As a service member, I expected much better care. Military dental facilities have treated me far better than this place did. Their patient care was terrible, and they seriously need to step their game up. I had appointments made for my kids as well, but after this experience, I think I'll pass.

Experiencia fantástica: I moved to WA and had to find a dentist and from day 1 BTY staff was amazing! I had to have many extractions for dentures and the first set I complained that they didn't give me a way to manage my pain and this time when I went in they went above and beyond, it was snowing and they brought me a blanket and a heater and even made sure I had pain meds ready at the pharmacy. I am very impressed with BTY and their dedication to making their customers happy!

The practice demonstrates a lack of empathy toward patients and charges excessively for their services. Additionally, they have difficulty retaining employees, including dentists, which reflects poorly on their management. The staff often exhibits rude behavior and provides substandard customer service. I recommend avoiding this establishment. OWNER- I find it challenging to fully accept or trust your explanation. Regardless of your elaboration or sincerity, your words do not align with the reality I have encountered.

Experiencia negativa: I visited (Nov 2024) last year for an exposed premolar tooth causing pain, but Dr. Hwang refused to fill it, claiming it "doesn't look hurt." Instead, she insisted I needed an deep cleaning (scaling and root planing). When I expressed concern about getting a deep clean, referencing a previous bad experience, the doctor's reply was shockingly dismissive. She stated, "I don't care, we just send the patient to a Periodontist." This comment was personally hurtful and showed a total lack of concern for my comfort or prior history. Ultimately, the only thing done during my visit was taking X-rays, and the main issue I came in for was ignored. My problems continued nearly a year later (11month later)since last week, when I started receiving highly suspicious text messages and emails demanding a $119 payment. The communication was alarming: it arrived 11 months later, was under a new, unfamiliar name, btyDENTAL, and provided zero detailed information about the charge. When my husband went to the office to settle the bill and get an explanation, the staff told him the $119 balance was due because I had taken "so many X-rays" that my insurance wouldn't cover. This was immediately proven false by my insurance. (my insurance confirmed us I was well within my annual limit for X-rays.)Furthermore, the staff discussed sensitive claim details with my husband without my permission, which is a serious breach of my medical privacy. Finally, even after my husband paid the full $119, the office still refused to provide a proper, itemized receipt or an Explanation of Benefits (EOB). The combination of negligent clinical care, the doctor's unprofessional and dismissive attitude, the serious privacy breach, and the lack of basic billing clarity and professionalism is completely unacceptable. I caution anyone considering this office to be extremely careful with their administrative and clinical standards.

I’ve been to many many dentists, and this spot will be my last. I will be back most likely for the rest of my life for anything i need for my teeth. Thank you guys again so much! Made me feel very confident about the job they were doing that’s for sure.

It was really rough on my gums and induced a headache for the rest of the day, which has never happened in any of my dental cleanings in the past. The dental light needs cleaning or replacing.

Experiencia positiva: Completely new staff and team here from the last time I came in. The dentist cleaned my teeth faster than anyone I have ever experienced. So I question the thoroughness of the cleaning. Usually the hygienists will clean and polish but the new team does things a little different. They gave me another estimate for crowns and no education or reason why I should get them just an estimate for $1k out of pocket with insurance covering their portion. Very little personal interaction. I’ll give them another chance in January when my next 6 month cleaning. The receptionist was very nice and receptive when I came in.

Experiencia negativa: Front desk staff was very nice and she tried to help at the end as best she could I do appreciate her and her kindness but the doctor was not great she spent 15 minutes stabbing into my teeth making my gums and month bleed. Then told me I need a deep cleaning I told her my insurance didn’t cover that I only came for a basic cleaning and I need to have that done nothing more she refused and kept push the more expensive cleaning which after now calling around wasn’t necessary. I spend most of the visit doing uncomfortable x-ray which they had to retake to “get a better angle” and having my gums stabbed into and bleed because she was so rough. I changed my work schedule to come to this appointment to be told no to a basic cleaning. I now will have to take another day off of work to reschedule a cleaning elsewhere. Would not recommend this office they will waist your time so they can try and get more out of your insurance

Genuinely could not of been happier with that whole experience. Felt very much like I was receiving relevant and personal care while I was there and in the formation of my treatment plan, but; also after my appointment when I needed specific things to provide the referral company the office team truly went above and beyond to quickly help me provide unusual documentation, despite the fact it only was a benefit for me to personally receive an incentive. They created a specific document to meet the needs for my incentive the same day I sent an email about it and their reply was not only friendly but also very much like a reply I would of received from a friend. 10/10 I would and have recommend these guys to any and everybody with teeth or dental needs of any kind.
