Experiencia fantástica: First time to see this dentist ... entrance to reception area was very warm, welcoming w/waves and greetings from Jen and another woman, sorry, did not get her name, she was on the phone ....we (husband and I) filled out initial paperwork and then we were both seen, Ken by McKenzie and I was seen by Sylvia. I can only speak to Sylvia as I spent an hour w/her. Very knowledgeable and excellent in taking time to explain everything, from oral anatomy/teeth to procedures being done and why... I generally ask lots of questions, but she anticipated many and was patient w/those I did ask. In addition to that she was personable, made me laugh and I immediately loved her ! Though younger, she was very experienced and gentle on this old girl's teeth and mouth... the dentist, Dr. Mike, came in to see me while she was doing the 1-2-2-3-4 exam... I was impressed w/him simply because it was the first time in over 70 yrs of dental care that a dentist came to check my teeth before they were cleaned by the hygienist!!! He was also polite, kind w/pleasant personality as well as gentle in my mouth while checking... Ken was impressed w/his care as well, but is not as wordy as I .... all in all, an excellent crew and Ken and I have decided that we won't mind driving down from Iron Mountain, MI twice a year to see these folks for dental care !!!

Experiencia fantástica: My first time in 20 years since I went to a dentist. That's my fault. I required a deep cleaning and three sessions to fix my numerous cavities. I could not be happier with my experience. The entire staff are absolute professionals. The only negative that I can add, is that the building is not cleary marked. They share the building with another Dental Practice. On my first visit, I walked into the wrong office, and I was re-directed into the correct one. It's the door on the left. All-in-all, a great experience seeing a dentist.

Experiencia positiva: Interest wing to Me that I recently had my teeth cleaned and didn’t get feedback on periodontal disease from that dentist (switched to you due to insurance ). Now I have to pay more for cleanings which is concerning. This should be an option. Not a requirement (higher cost cleaning )

She checked in with every now and then to make sure I was okay. Dr. Mike was nice and also made sure I stayed in the loop on what he was doing during the exam. After he was done, Stacey explained everything that was said in the exam with Dr. Mike. Minus that I have 4 cavities, I was very pleased with my first appointment. The ladies at the front desk are very kind and friendly. My husband and i are happy that they accepted our insurance as well. Plus, they're just 5 minutes down the street from our home, so that's a bonus.

He ended up doing so well that they were able to do a full cleaning! This was important too, because it was clear that they based their treatment that day on his readiness, not a policy or procedure. Dr. Mark was very kind and had an excellent bedside manner! I will be back with my other children soon!

Experiencia negativa: I've only been onetime for a routine cleaning and x-rays. When checking out I applied zero pressure on the receptionist and even asked what I owed...it must be something. Nope she said, all covered by your insurance. Great I thought - finally my special bone insurance I pay for on top of my health insurance is providing some value. Several months later they decide to send me a bill for $XXX without any invoice attached or break down of services rendered. It's like a petulant child sticking their hand out with a pouty face saying "gimme dat" and looking at your wallet. I wish I could just go back on my word and invoice strangers without explanation!

Experiencia negativa: I paid 6Gs to get my teeth straightened with sure smile. I lost my 2 plastic 3d printed retainers that cost $0.50 to make, after a year of use. They tried telling me I needed a new scan because my teeth could've shifted, and it would cost $400 for that and the new plastic trays. Meanwhile, if I hadn't lost them, I would have used the same retainer set for many more years without them worrying about if my teeth shifted. The scan is unnecessary. Just order me a new set of the same retainers I had without price gouging. Lost me as a customer. I'll find somewhere that actually takes care of their customers...or is at least reasonable. *Edited to say, I already found a way to pay less than half for what BPS charges, and I get 2 sets. Don't let this dentist milk you of your money. My ortho expenses are paid thru my union dollar bank, so it's not even out of my pocket. Still, I won't let this dentist scam me like that based on principle.

Experiencia fantástica: Great visit. Sylvia was my hygienist and she was a good teacher/good explanations. First time I had the ultrasonic treatment for cleaning and I liked it. Saw Dr Brett for exam and he was thorough and kind. Only negative was that our family had been patients of Brodhagen’s for ~25 years and then an insurance change (Medicare) required a change to another dentist for past 4 years. Now we’re back - another insurance change! Unfortunately due to that break in service, I was unable to continue to get my “Whitening for Life” gel unless I paid a reinstatement fee of $99. Disappointing.
