Experiencia fantástica: I usually don't write reviews, but in this instance regarding Monarch Family Dental, I am making an exception. A few months ago, I relocated back to Denver, Colorado and needed to find a dentist to have what I believed to be some minor work done. I had thought that my previous dentist at a prior location was a very good dentist. However, I discovered a lot of very critical and potentially dangerous dental work that had been overlooked. At my first appointment, because of the Monarch Family Dental practice/team and their sophisticated equipment, they discovered a considerate amount of dental work that needed to be done, which has been completed over the past few months. After evaluating my dental needs, they prepared a detailed line item of all inclusive cost estimates broken down into phases with the complete cost and spent time walking me through all the details of the cost estimate and provided alternatives. Midway through getting this dental work done, I had a heart attack and was in the hospital awaiting major heart surgery. The two doctors at this practice, Dr. Rojas and Dr. Razz, are both highly skilled and both did work on my procedures. Both were accommodating to help me get my procedures done prior to having my heart surgery. Because of the heart attack, they took special precautions to protect me and keep me safe while completing the procedures. Both doctors were very attuned to eliminating as much pain as they possibly could. They were very conscientious, caring and they strive to make the patient feel comfortable and have the end result of the procedures reach perfection, and in my case they have succeeded! - Steve

Absolutely no one is more afraid of the dentist than I. My teeth were cleaned by Ali on the 2nd visit. She was really thorough and gentle. I love her! My 3rd visit was really scary, I needed surgery on my upper right and a tooth extracted. Dr. Rojas was so gentle and what was supposed to be fairly quick, removing the infection and adding a sinus membrane took 2 1/2 hours. He and his assistant, Mallory were so patient, professional, and gentle. I have no higher praise than this. Amazing humans! Well, fourth visit went like a breeze. Stitches are out, Mallory was so gentle, not even a tug. I have been praying for a dentist and assistant like this office. I used to love going to the dentist twice a year, and everything went downhill when I moved to Thornton. I won’t go into details, but Dr. Rojas, Ali, and Mallory (Cyndi too) are wonderful. Step by step I’ll have my dental health back! I can’t recommend a better place to go!

I was treated like a transaction, pushed toward decisions that didn’t feel right, and the customer service just wasn’t there—especially for something this personal and expensive. Then I met Dr. Rojas at Monarch Dental. From the moment my wife and I arrived, he set a different tone. He came out to greet us himself—no assistant, no rush—just a warm, genuine welcome. It may sound small, but it told me everything I needed to know about who he is and how he runs his practice. I wanted to keep my bottom teeth and only do implants on the top. Other offices told me “both or none.” Dr. Rojas actually listened. He respected my wishes and guided me through the best path for me, not the most profitable one for them. Throughout the treatment, any small issue that came up was handled with care and urgency. When I needed help on a Sunday, he met me at the office and took care of me. Who does that anymore? My wife is now fully finished with her implants and I’m in the final stages of mine. We both feel incredibly grateful to have found this office. The entire staff is kind, skilled, and clearly follows his example of treating patients like real people, not appointments on a schedule. I’m 64 and I’ve seen my fair share of dentists. Dr. Rojas is a rare breed—skilled, honest, and deeply caring. As a business owner myself with a 4.9 Google rating, I know what great service should look like. Monarch Dental lives it. Experiencia positiva: I was scheduled for a cleaning and a check-up. Cleaning went well with no severe problems. The dentist was called and asked me if I had any problems. I mentioned I had some sensitivity in some teeth. He looked in my mouth and said everything looked good. My question is how long do I go before these concerns are addressed.I don't know if fillings are required, or do we wait until a root canal is needed which is more expensive???

Experiencia negativa: I strongly advise staying away from this dental office. While my initial visits were positive, things quickly went downhill due to ongoing issues in multiple areas: 1. Scheduling Errors: I experienced repeated scheduling mistakes, including being called back to the chair only to wait two hours before the dentist saw me. I even lost paid time off because of incorrect appointment scheduling by the staff. 2. Billing Issues: There have been multiple billing problems. I was once overcharged by $600 without being notified — I only found out because a receptionist casually mentioned a credit on my account. In another instance, I paid for an in-office fluoride treatment and was instead given a take-home kit and told to do it myself. My most recent billing issue has dragged on for months due to an insurance input error made by their staff. I’ve had to follow up myself just to get updates. 3. Poor Communication & Documentation: Several times, I arrived for appointments and the practitioner didn’t know what I was scheduled for. They had to spend time looking it up or asking around, which was both uncomfortable and inefficient. 4. Physical Harm & Poor Quality Work: At my second-to-last visit, I was burned on the cheek by a hot dental tool. The assistant acknowledged it and apologized, but I didn’t realize how severe it was until i got home and looked at it in a mirror. I immediately contacted the office with photos, and the dentist was supposed to check the burn at my next visit. He never did. Instead, a different staff member placed my permanent crown. The burn caused three weeks of significant pain and difficulty eating, talking, and sleeping. On top of that, the crown was poorly placed — it has an overhang that’s inflaming surrounding tissue and makes flossing extremely difficult. I now have to pay another dentist to correct it. This experience has been incredibly distressing, especially given the cost and trust involved. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone.

I was anxious to FINALLY have my Invisalign removed today, and when I arrived, the assistant asked if I was happy with my progress. I said yes. However, when Dr. Roja assessed my teeth, he felt there was still more work to be done. I was genuinely impressed by his dedication to achieving the best results for his patients, even if it meant delaying my treatment. What stood out to me was his commitment to my results over profitability. I had already paid for my Invisalign, yet he prioritized my dental health without mentioning the negative impact on his bottom line. I think many businesses would have figured if I was happy that was good enough, since more treatment takes away from the profitability of my Invisalign. But he did not. This level of integrity is rare and speaks volumes about his character. I also want to give a shout-out to Mallory, who handled my rescan managing my expectations about occasional discomfort and was incredibly thoughtful in answering my many dry-mouth questions. Her help made the experience even better. If you're looking for a dentist whose office truly cares about your well-being, Dr. Roja is one to see!

Experiencia fantástica: I've had two 30 year old crowns replaced (yes people they don't last forever - and don't wait till they begin to cause pain, it may be too late) and three old fillings replaced. Dr. Rojas is so gentle. He never rushes. I hardly felt the needle. He takes his time, and has such a calming voice. When you are in the chair, he makes sure you are comfortable and his team is very friendly. Hands down the best dentist ever.

Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend using this dentist! I was looking for a dentist that wouldn’t charge an arm and leg for their services. Which is hard since 2020 and Covid. They were really nice here and gave me an estimate for work that needed to be done on the bottom teeth. The first procedure which the estimate stated my cost would be $694.00. After the work was done I had to pay $800.00. Then I had the follow up 2 weeks later to check and remove stitches. Then I was charged &154.00. I payed it. Then they left me a voicemail that their wifi was down when I made that payment and it did not go through. I called them back and I was told the front office made a mistake with the estimate and I owed another $873.00.I payed it and cancelled all future appointment’s. I was done with them. Now almost a month later I get an email stating I owed them another $120.00. Hell will freeze over before I pay them 1 more dime!!! Wish I could leave them a tenth of 1 star review! I payed them a total of $1673.00, which is almost a thousand dollars more than their estimate. Beware!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I needed to establish a new dentist since moving to this area. Walking in the door, the office was clean and did not have the scary dentist smell! The ladies at the front desk were fantastic and charming! The hygienist seemed very well educated, so kind, and not judgemental at all. I've had some dental history and can be very self conscious about it...but not here! Moving on to the dentist...he seemed genuinely concerned and determined to make things better! I feel confident in my treatment plan moving forward. They made me well aware of the cost ahead of time so in the future appointments to come i don't have to worry about any surprises. I am so glad I found them and highly recommend!

She was nice, caring and very easy to talk to. She’s like the Einstein of enamel, and the Picasso of poking your mouth and knowing you’ll end up with a masterpiece. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like royalty (minus the awkward small talk with a mouthful of cotton balls). The office is sleek, modern, and cleaner than my grandma's kitchen counters. But what really sets them apart is their superpower: making you feel comfortable while someone is poking you right in your mouth. It's like they're casting a spell of relaxation and you can’t help to feel at ease in your most vulnerable moment. All in all, I'm thrilled to have found my dental happy place. Experiencia negativa: Relaxing atmosphere and Doctor but was told they didn't have enough time for my initial visit and couldn't do a full cleaning. Scheduled additional appointments during my initial visit because they didn't allot for the time originally and asked for an additional follow up next day regarding finances. They followed up to confirm my appt but not about finances. Come to find out, dental rates were misinformed for out of pocket expenses and now I'm back at stage 1 of finding another dentist. Claimed it was my dental insurance rates, but I have been to 6 dentists with 4 different insurances in the last 10 years and have never had a dental repair quote come out nearly that high. Very disappointed and waste of my time. Edit since company response: the receptionist staff never communicated that I wouldn't receive a full treatment (tip: don't book new patients at 4 if you close at 5, not the patients fault for not knowing your operating procedures/times when it was never communicated) and they offered me an appointment 2 days before my original for a 130 appointment the same day. It is not responsibility to cater to your schedule. Because of your inaccurate and untruthful response, dropping it down to a 1 star. AVOID THIS SCAM!

Experiencia negativa: They attempted to reschedule me 3 days prior to my appointment due to scheduling changes which I did not agree to. 2 hours before my appointment they called me to cancel my appointment stating the dentist was sick. When asked if cancellation was also due to scheduling changes they stated they had not texted me previously regarding request to reschedule which is a lie. I understand people get sick but they should have the same courtesy they expect patients to have with them. They have cancellation fees yet don’t mind canceling patient hours before their appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: I came in and enjoyed their incredibly good first time special deal! Kiana took such good care of me I forgot I was at the dentist and thought I was at a spa! I had imaging done and careful work put into making me feel comfortable at every moment.
