Experiencia negativa: Some of that staff need to go back and re certify Had kids leaving with mouth still with blood in it! No gauze. Then they want u take ur child without you so they can slack off. However they get the job done, ( Dr Yu) is decent , but will find other care.

Experiencia fantástica: My 16 year old said that his hygienist was very funny. She did a great job and was kind. He enjoyed his dental cleaning. He said it's nice to see his dentist that always checks in on him. Great job guys!

Experiencia negativa: I took my foster placement here,since it seems like this is the only place in Columbus, GA that accepts their insurance. The wait time was ridiculous! Got there at 9;50 for a 10 am appointment, wasn't called back until after 11:15. Once in the back the exam was trash. The "dentist" didn't introduction herself, my concerns weren't addressed, and the "assistant" literally went across the child's teeth 3 brushes. No oral exam, no xrays, nothing!!

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!! I took my two daughters to this clinic and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Our appointment was scheduled for 4:00 PM, and we were instructed to arrive 15 minutes early. We arrived at 3:45 PM as requested, yet we were not seen until 5:00 PM. However, I'm certain that if we had arrived even a few minutes after 4:00 PM, our appointment would have been canceled. To make matters worse, my daughter suffers from allergies. The staff told us they would not see her because of her allergies and requested a doctor's note. I provided the doctor's note, but then they told us it was too late and that they were about to close. After making us wait that long, that response was unacceptable. The staff was extremely rude and dismissive throughout the process. As a parent, I expect professionalism, clear communication, and basic courtesy -- especially at a children's dental office. Based on this experience, I will definitely be looking for another dentist.

Experiencia negativa: If I could go somewhere else I would there are rules that are not known until you walk in building. I didn't know I had to confirm 48hrs. Cleaning appointment was canceled then we waited for 1.5 before was seen. I made sure to schedule braces consultation with cleaning and I was not seen for braces.

Experiencia negativa: FRANKLIN DENTAL is the WORST dental office you can take your kids to in COLUMBUS GA!! They’re unprofessional and rude to everyone that comes into their office. Today one of the workers told my 12 year old son that if he start brushing his teeth they wouldn’t look like that! Are you serious?? What in your right mind would make you say that to a 12 year old? On top of that they stated that it wasn’t that serious for me to be upset about anything that was said to him or what they do! This has to be a joke.. because there is no way that they’re still in business or the same workers that work there are still there.. They do not care about our children and enough is enough something needs to be done! It has to be someone the parents can get in touch with to put an end to this. There has been multiple complaints about them not only canceling appointments at the last minute but the way that they treat CHILDREN!! Please shut the done now!!!!

Experiencia negativa: This place is TERRIBLE! From the staff being VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, SHOWING NO EMPATHY OR SYMPATHY, NOT EVEN PROFESSIONALISM. This is the second time I have had a bad experience with this place. First time I came here I was scheduled for 8am and arrived early. It was people that came after me being seen before me. I was there for 4 hours and still was not seen. Then a staff comes from the back saying they are going to lunch and people can either choose to wait or to reschedule, due to the fact I had to go to work and was unaware that I would have to be there soo long I rescheduled. Now my appointment for my 4 year old son was set for 2pm today. I called before I left out because I have to uber to see if they have any grace period. I was told yes 15 mins and I said okay I was suppose to arrive by 2:00 based on the eta of my uber but due to unexpected road work on the way it delayed us and we arrived 2:11 which was still under the 15 mins I was initially told. I walk inside and try to check in and I was told my APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELLED . I said to the front desk agent hey I was told 15 mins when I called she “said oh the call center be telling people that I don’t know why they do that but we can reschedule you for Monday “ I proceed to tell her that I just took a uber there and spent money and my son needs this appointment for school since last time I had to get rescheduled unexpectedly after waiting 4 hrs. she did not care at all . I ask her to speak to a manger and she said it’s no managers on duty which is crazy because it shows in the picture here below the managers on duty Today ‼️ again lien to customers and still not trying to help. I even asked if I can just get a later appointment and just wait and was told no I had to spend money to uber back home with my 4 year old son without being seen from the dentist. I am highly upset , this is the worst place I ever been to in my entire life. When you call this place in advance to get a appointment they tell you to call the day before you want to come in. I have never ever heard anything like that before . This place needs new staff and management expeditiously. I also will be reporting this to the better business bureau this is not how a place should treat pediatric patients and their parents.

Experiencia negativa: I truly wish that there was a way to not give any stars at all. First of all the place was filthy and you can tell that it had not been cleaned in a few days. There is no reason why patients should have to walk in an establishment looking the way it did, especially with the flu being as bad as it is. Not only was the lobby a mess but so was the restroom that had a bad odor along with tissue on the floor. The staff is very unprofessional speaking about not wanting to deal with people’s kids crying. I also notice the short patience that they have with kids who have autism. I feel like if dealing with kids of special needs is a problem let us parents know once you look at the paperwork because it is listed for the parents to check off for any additional problems the kids may have. I don’t care for how things are handled. My son has been going here since he was one and I have never gotten a report from the dentist and/or the staff about the condition of my child’s teeth that seems quite odd. I feel because of the insurance that he has he receives the bare minimum which shouldn’t be the case. The wait time sucks!! My child appointment was at 9:00am, when I walked in all that was in the waiting room were parents waiting for their children. There were people who came in after me and got called before my child did and plenty of kids had already been released from the back. Overall I was not satisfied with the visit.

Experiencia fantástica: My appointment went very smoothly from start to finish. Our appointment time was 8:00 AM, and this was my first time using this particular insurance. I initially thought I might need to reschedule, but the front desk receptionist was absolutely amazing. She calmly reassured me it wasn’t a big deal at all, gave me the number I needed to call, and I had everything resolved in about three minutes. She was truly a gem. My son was in and out — X-rays completed, everything clearly explained, and the process was seamless. I didn’t even have to ask for a school excuse; they provided it without hesitation, which I really appreciated. Overall, the entire experience was efficient, organized, and stress-free. I had no issues whatsoever. While I can’t remember the receptionist’s name, she was truly chef’s kiss and set the tone for a great visit. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: This is the most poorly ran establishment that I have been to. My children were new patients to their practice. When making their appointments, instead of speaking with front desk staff I was speaking with a call center type of person, which I was fine with. She gave me their appointment information which was like a week and a half away which was fine. I was not told that I had to call them to confirm my appointment and honestly I did not even get any reminder txt or calls. They went to their appointments and were seen. The kids are called to the back in groups like cattle. Parents aren’t allowed in the back while they rush through the exams and haul in the next group. My kid had a follow up appointment, which I was never told that I needed to call them to confirm. Being that I was a new patient I was not aware of this rule. Showed up to the follow up and was told we did not have an appointment because we did not call them to confirm. I did not get any text or reminder appointment calls giving me instructions on what to do. Was just told that I needed to reschedule the appointment cause they were full and it was given away. I have never been to an establishment where I had to call them to confirm my appointment! It’s so inconvenient to working parents being that I had to take time off work, check my child out of school for this appointment that wasn’t given clear instructions on what to do to confirm.

Experiencia negativa: I highly recommend taking your children to a different dental facility! My son had his appointment cancelled with no proper communication three times. We went to the office twice only to be told "we didn't confirm his appointment" which we weren't informed of. We arrived for a final appt 15 minutes prior to his appointment time but wasn't called to verify paperwork until we sat for 30 minutes. 30 minutes after his designated appt time, he had not been seen, and his mouth was in severe pain. The front desk workers offered very little communication aside from "they'll be with you in a moment", and we continue to sit and wait. This is an unprofessional place of business. Why require an appt time for us to sit, wait, and not be seen at the time of the appt? Proper communication needs to be updated between the clients and business staff. Timeliness needs to be improved. The final touch was not allowing me to be with my child during his orthodontist appt "because we don't have space for the parent" and only allow parents to be with children under 6 years of age. I highly recommend taking your children to a different dental facility!

Experiencia negativa: Not sure why there's an appointment time when there's a 2 hour wait before the kids even go to the back. And then they sit back there for another hour. I was in there with my 2 kids for almost 4 hours. That is insane to have to be in a dentist office that long. Yall need to hire more people to accommodate the amount of people yall have scheduled.

From the front office to the point they over book everything is very unprofessional. It seems like maybe they hired family members to work for them because the entire operation is unprofessional. Experiencia negativa: Rescheduled my son's appt 3 times because of a technical issue that had nothing to do with me. Asked for a call from a supervisor twice and never got one cause they are apparently never in. Finally get to the appt just for them to rush my son in and out with no instructions given to him nor me after his fill in. Horrible service.

Experiencia negativa: Each time I go into this office it’s always something. Appointments being canceled because of mistakes of office staff and paperwork not being filled out correctly. This office used to run much better than this but now it’s just trash at this point. You could confirm an appointment and still come to the office to be told that your appointment was canceled. Time is not valued by the employees at all I am Disappointed to say the least.

Experiencia negativa: Take your kids to a place where front desk staff isn't rude. They don't overbook and tell you they canceled your appointment, even though it was confirmed and your appointment is 8am but so is 79,965 other people and you don't leave until 3pm. Oh and they only have one dentist.

Experiencia positiva: It was good EXEPT for the fact I keep calling to confirm my appointment, the office confirm it just to get a message saying “ make sure you confirm you appointment “ so I call AGAIN before the deadline just to show up and low and behold my appointment was never confirmed. I wouldn’t make a deal out of it if it was the first time but it keep happening. They need to have clearer communication between the office and the dentist place as the dentist place never seem to answer their phone.i called the same day I found out asap to make sure my spot isn’t taken.

Experiencia negativa: Why is the wait time over an hour EVERY time I visit. Some of the staff is rude, no customer service skills whatsoever. The confirmation for the appointments doesn’t work. Sometimes someone cans to confirm the appointment and if they don’t they require you to call them to confirm & if you don’t then they cancel your appointment and reschedule the next apportionment 2-3 months out. I’ve confirmed my appointment(s) multiple times only to be sent texts messages asking me to confirm again multiple times, along with being called and asked to confirm after already confirming! They are always overbooked and understaffed! This is by far the WORST dentist office I’ve ever been to. Would NOT recommend!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I am writing to formally complain about my experience at your office today regarding my dental cleaning appointment scheduled for 11:00 AM. At 8:00 AM this morning, I received an appointment reminder, which clearly indicated that my appointment was still confirmed. Based on this, I arrived at your office at approximately 10:30 AM. However, upon arrival, I was informed by the front desk staff that my appointment had been canceled. I was extremely disappointed to learn that the appointment had been canceled without any phone call, text message, or prior notification. This caused a complete waste of my time and was highly unprofessional. What made the situation worse was the front desk staff’s attitude. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was told that the manager was “busy,” and no effort was made to contact them or offer any assistance. The staff member appeared dismissive and indifferent, which is unacceptable in a professional healthcare setting. Patients arrange their schedules carefully to attend appointments. Canceling without notice and refusing to escalate concerns reflects a serious lack of responsibility and professionalism. I hope this matter will be taken seriously.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars I would this place is horrible. First time they canceled on me I confirm my appointment and when I got there after waiting 20 minutes they say they couldn't see my son because we didn't confirm an appointment time. Today after waiting an hour they canceled again on us because they're saying it's taken too long to verify insurance. I verify insurance all day long, if your RTE is not verifying you call the number on the back of the card it's an automated service for eligibility. It's obvious that the receptionist just don't want to do her job.

Happened twice already with one of my sons resulting in further un resolved issues that has snowballed into something bigger that they can't even fix. Experiencia negativa: I don't recommend this office at all. My daughter needed 2 silver caps placed on her teeth. I was physically present in the back with her with 2 when they were having issues with the adhesive for one of the caps. They shaved her teeth down but one struggled with one. Not even 2 days later the one that was giving the most struggle feel out while my daughter was at school. Immediately the next day. I physically went back up and was told I would be charge for another cap, co pay, and they would not be able to see her back until January like this wasn't an emergency situation her mouth literally bleeds every time they are brushed. Don't go HERE!

Experiencia negativa: It was a bad experience it was one worker that had a bad attitude towards me. She yelled at me for having my phone out. It was a better way that could have been handled because I told her to watch her tone she tried to kick me out and say I will not be seen. That I needed to reschedule my appointment mine you that I was in a lot of pain of a bad toothache. I as for a manager and she was so nice and said that she will address the issue and that she will make sure I got seen. She did just that checking out that same lady told me that I would have to go get my cleaning somewhere else then bring proof that I had a cleaning. The lady was still was picking on me and was trying not to schedule me for a cleaning

Experiencia negativa: The doctors are decent however the amount of time one must wait to receive care is ridiculous. Plan to spend at the minimum 4 hours and first 3 you are in the waiting in the waiting area which is enormous like a clinic or an emergency room. Seats are not comfortable ……terrible. Makes you feel very weird or very under class treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: Overall great experience. The wait time was what you expect with a first time visit so it wasn’t too bad. I do want to commend the Dentist Cindy Seguall who cleaned my son’s teeth, she was simply amazing. She was extremely gentle with my 4 yr which made him super comfortable and able to relax, which is BIG for us. The wait in the back was long but she was literally the only one being sure to get the patients in and out within reasonable time. She’s truly a charm!

Experiencia negativa: If I could for them ZERO STARS you better believe that’s what I’d do! This place is the worst! Every single time an appointment is made, we're sitting there for HOURS like a sitting duck. I called and the lady at the front desk what's the point in making an appointment if we're not going to be seen at the time of given appointment. That lady really told me because everyone showed up to their appointment. Like girl, what you mean everyone showed up to their appointment. That's the point of scheduling an appointment. They accept walk in's and appointments but you can't tell one from another because we're always situating a MINIMUM of 3 hours! They called 7 kids back at one time and my baby sat ask there for an hour before she was seen! They need more staff or better scheduling. I hate it there but I have nowhere else to take my child!

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience. The staff was rude. Especially the black staff. None of them wanted to work. They had extremely bad attitudes. Making the white dentist assistance do all the work and consulting. My appointment was at 9:15 to 11:30. For just a cleaning and x-rays which she was supposed to get work done on her teeth. They scheduled her appointment so far out that her X-rays expired and had to get new ones. It’s extremely too cold in the back. Which leading me to find my daughter a new dentist.

Experiencia negativa: This place is an absolute joke. After 3 rescheduled appointments, we STILL were not seen today. Overcrowding, lied to by receptionist yesterday so had to jump through additional hoops to try to be seen. Appointment was at 1:45 and had to leave the office at 3:30 to make it to another obligation on time. It’s absolutely ridiculous that the only excuses we were given was “oh it’s the call centers fault and that’s corporate policy”. 9/10 times the receptionists have attitudes and treat people that are trying to figure out solutions to our problems like we’re stupid. I will be finding another practice for my children, and suggest everyone else does the same.

I had an appointment scheduled for my son at Franklin Dental, only to find out the day of that it was canceled — with no call, no email, and no courtesy notice. What’s worse is that I still received a text that morning saying, “We can’t wait to see you,” so I showed up thinking everything was fine. When I spoke with the front desk, I was told they don’t see teens during their 11 a.m. or 4 p.m. slots. Instead of taking accountability, the representative casually told me I could “call next week to reschedule.” Excuse me? That’s completely unacceptable and unprofessional. This experience shows a serious lack of communication and respect for patients’ time. After reading other negative reviews, I should’ve taken them as a warning. Clearly, this office needs major improvement in customer service and scheduling processes.

Experiencia negativa: I should’ve known when I checked in and a mom of 3 was complaining and stated she taking her kids somewhere else because they are ridiculous. Waited over 90 minutes for them to come and get me to say that they listened to my 13 year old that he didn’t want his teeth cleaned because they took too long to get to him without referring to his parent and wanted me to reschedule when I took off work for this appointment. People who came in after us got seen already and I didn’t complain but this is unacceptable wasting people time and money for something that could’ve been cleared up.

Experiencia negativa: Just don’t. They overbook themselves severely, and idk if it’s because of corporate pressure or what, but it is glaringly obvious that the way they are operating is not good. The wait times alone show that. The poor workers are stretched so thin it is impossible for them to do their jobs in a decent manner, no matter what position they work. I have met some nice people that work here, but the way it is ran has ruined this place. I tried for 3 months to get my daughters referral taken care of, and it’s still not done. I am having to drive an hour away now for care. Please, if anyone is reading this, find another dentist. Do right by your children and take them somewhere where they can actually get decent, timely care. The people here try, but they will never be TRULY successful until they re-evaluate how many patients they can honestly handle. People are coming to y’all because they have to. Not because they want to. That is not a sign of true success. Most people I talk to hate dealing with Franklin Dental, but they are just desperate because they need care for their kids so they have no choice but to deal with this dumpster of an office! It’s sad. Do better!

Experiencia negativa: It really is a shame that since this office was sold to Franklin Dental the quality of care and consideration for the patient has completely went over their heads! I scheduled an appointment the day before for my son…we moved but had to come back for insurance purposes (drove 3hrs) for my son dental emergency (he’s 7 and in pain) and I get to the desk to check in… the lady states.” I’m sorry we haven’t been able to verify insurance this mornings”…..at his 11 am appointment I drove 3 hrs for, where was the phone call? This is the worst place EVER! I stopped coming 2 years ago for some bs they pulled making me wait and hour and here I am again wit the same neglectful behavior! Don’t waste your time bringing your kid here!!!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give 0 stars I would this was my second taking my goddaughter here and leaving with nothing accomplished the first time was about a month she was supposed to get a filing and after taking x-rays they determined she had more then 1 that needed to be filled the doctor asked the hygienist how they missed the other teeth that she had no answer so they rescheduled called her mom to confirm the appointment for this morning I get there and they say her appointment has been canceled I’m like why you guys texted her appointment time we confirmed and you text back make sure she didn’t have any to eat or drink because she will be going under general anesthesia and that the process could take 2 to 4 hours I get there this morning and you all say we need a verbal confirmation, this was never explained to us then one of the ladies said here is the piece of paper that you were supposed to get at her last appointment which would explain I guess the verbal confirmation that they need, but I explained that paper was never given to me because they said they would call and confirm her next appointment they did not make it the morning we were there. Now again I am missing out of work again this makes the second time. You all communication are horrible. We will not be back a third time

Experiencia negativa: They are OVERLY unprofessional I was literally 20 mins early to my 1045 appointment and when I got there they pushed it back to 1 but when I came back up there at 1 mind you I was the first person to get there they steady putting people in front of me who was NOT there before me, y'all need to do better Franklin..

Experiencia positiva: My daughter Sarah had oral surgery here yesterday, and the experience was very frustrating. Her original appointment was scheduled for 2:00 pm, but the office called the day before and offered me an earlier time at 12:00. I agreed, thinking it would help us get done sooner. We arrived at 11:40, checked in, and then sat in the lobby for hours. During that time, we watched nearly 10 other patients come in after us, get called back for surgery, and leave before my daughter was even seen. No one explained the delay or gave us any kind of update. By 2:00—the time of her original appointment—we were still sitting there, and the waiting room was almost empty. It was especially upsetting because my daughter hadn’t been allowed food or water since the night before and was already anxious about getting four wisdom teeth removed. The extended wait only made things worse. After three hours, we were finally called back. Once in the back, things did improve—the surgical staff was kind and professional. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the front desk receptionist, who never once apologized or tried to explain the situation. A simple update or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Overall, the surgery itself went fine thanks to the back staff, but the scheduling and front desk communication were terrible. If they offer you an “earlier appointment,” be prepared that it might not mean anything

Experiencia negativa: If I could give negative stars I would. This place sucks and it needs to be shut down. My 2 kids appointment were at 845 am and now it's 1150am and you want to reschedule my children cleanings because you are short staff and by one being a teen she was supposed to be scheduled at a different time of the day. What does that has to do with me. Your scheduler is the problem. Then tell me to calm down. How about compensating me for my job I left due to my kids appointment today. Its been back and forth for a year with them rescheduling my kids. I'm over this place and everyone needs to lose their jobs. You knew you were short staffed when you opened up this morning.

Experiencia negativa: The wait is entirely too long. My kids had 8 a.m. appointments. Been here since 7:55 and didn't leave until almost 11. But at least their teeth are clean.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible service!! Office smells like cigarettes!!! They said my appointment was at 11 and I came on time just for them to tell me they can’t see me because I’m supposed to come in 15 min prior… was not advised that info when I scheduled the appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: I had the best experience getting my sister braces with Dr. Williams and the amazing team! From the very beginning, everything was explained clearly and I always felt comfortable at every appointment. Tabatha, Kandece, and Kia were all so kind, professional, and patient — they truly made every visit smooth and stress-free. Dr. Williams is outstanding at what he does. I 10/10 recommend getting your braces done at Franklin dental.

Experiencia negativa: Rude, malpractice, traumatized, rough, waisting time. I have been taking my 2 children here for over 2 years now. Last month I had my daughter get some work done on her teeth. After getting her home she was still bleeding into the next day (pictures of that are below). We brought her back and Dr Yu had to add stitches to stop the bleeding. A few weeks later, one of the teeth they placed fell out. I brought her in to have it fixed, they scheduled an appt for the following week to fix it. That next appointment, they said they couldn't do it and I needed to bring her back. After having to make a scene, they had Dr Yu fix it yet again. I don't understand what has happened in the last few months, but they have changed for the worst. Dr Yu has went out of his way multiple times now to fix other mistakes, so I say thank you to him and his team. I do hope you look at the photos below and ask if you'd want your child to go through that, cause my daughter who enjoyed coming to the dentist.... is now traumatized to eat in fear of having to come back. Lastly, they said I could discuss this with the manager over the phone to prevent this from happening to anyone else. I'm still waiting on that call. Edit- this was supposed to be posted over 6 months ago... but since I attached the photos that would show the malpractice, it wasn't posted. Also, its the second time the crown fell off.

Experiencia negativa: My child appointment was at 2 we got there at 1:25. 3:09 my child still hasn't been called! So we left! Y'all really have to be considerate of people time! I missed hours of work for NOTHING! This is unacceptable!

Experiencia negativa: I made an apppointment due to my child having swollen gums and unablemto eat due to the swelling. We waited for an X-ray for 2 hours just for them to tell me he cant see the dentist until the swelling goes down. He got no pain medication or anything. Theu didnt even look at his teeth to see why this was happening. Terrible experience.

Experiencia negativa: I'm getting unsatisfied with the work y'all are doing on my son's mouth with the bracelet he has got them put in today and it fell off in about an hour before he left the dentist office I had left a mess with the customer service call center to have someone to call me back on this matter it get to the point it doesn't make sense every time he get the braces black in his mouth it tended to fall out I need someone to make sure they still make sure they are in stable and fix in correctly this is my complaint it's not the first time this happened

Experiencia negativa: As a new patient, the front desk service was good; however the wait was ridiculous. My kids appointments were at 9. We got there early because I knew there would be paperwork. I did not expect to be there until 12pm for a 9am appointment. After filling out the paperwork, we sat in the waiting area for an hour and a half waiting to get called back. Once in the back there was another 30 minute wait. I understand that sometimes there’s a staff shortage, then maybe don’t schedule so many appointments on the same day.

Experiencia negativa: I am unhappy with the most recent visit my daughter had at Franklin Dental & Braces. When she came out she immediately told me that the staff was making fun of her because she was in pain and she cried. Her face was streaked with tears!! I think that to be very unprofessional of the staff who did work on my child. She is 9 years old. The dentist is uncomfortable for adults so for a child I'm sure it can be super uncomfortable. She said they were rough with her while putting in her crown. She also said that they didn't wait for the numbing medicine to fully take effect and they kept teasing her saying; "your not a baby are you?! You're a lady, not a baby right!?" I would give NO stars for this visit if I could. You all should try to make the patient feel at ease and comfortable, not tease them about being in pain or uncomfortable!!! I will say, her first visit was good but this one was a total dumpster fire!! Do better and stop teasing children! ....or anyone else for that matter. I'm not sure we will be returning. The behavior of the staff that worked on my daughter was unacceptable.

Experiencia negativa: Takes long time to be called and they change your appointment as they please with out prior notice this happened to me twice the first time I arrive was waiting and then told to come back the next day because the Doctor had said it was going to be a long wait I don’t understand why they overbooked.
