Pam does a great job explaining what she sees and has a plan to keep my teeth in my mouth and not under a pillow for the tooth ferry. I have missed out on that extra change for 64 years and counting.

Experiencia negativa: I have been a faithful customer to this dentist office since the late 1990's when Dwight McLaurin was in charge. November 2023, I had a crown seated. From the onset, there were issues with numbing before the procedure to the ill-fitted crown placed in my mouth. There is a sizeable gap in myperfectly aligned teeth. No matter how many subsequent visits I scheduled to see the next steps to fix my crown, I was rebuffed and finally sent to another dentist for a second opinion. On the day of my scheduled appointment, I was informed by the office manager, I did not have an appointment and should have received correspondence in the mail. Seeing I was unaware of the situation, I was informed I had been discharged as a patient. Despite any pleas from me, he refused to let me be seen at his practice and subsequently refusing to refill my preventive meds for dental procedures, stating my behavior had been "kooky" lately. Unprofessional...

Experiencia negativa: This establishment used to be great a few years back, but recently, it's taken a turn for the worse. In the past couple of years, there have been instances where the doctor failed to show up for scheduled appointments. While such mishaps can occur occasionally, it's unacceptable that it has happened to me twice during routine cleanings and once for a dentist appointment. What's more frustrating is the complete lack of communication; no one bothers to inform patients when the doctor won't be available, despite the inconvenience of taking time off work and having to reschedule. The attitude of the staff suggests a lack of concern, and it feels like the doctor is frequently on vacation.

Experiencia fantástica: Personally, I think you should inform patients what their estimated co-pay will be BEFORE they come for their appointment instead of telling them after the appointment and services have been done. What if I didn't have anything to pay? You say you don't bill patients, but what choice would you have if the patient doesn't have the money??? Billing the patient should definitely be an option.

Dr. Johnson has fit me in for several emergency visits over the past few weeks as I experienced some significant dental issues. It is priceless to have dentists that see you as a priority no matter how busy their day is already. He is very informative and really educates you on the procedure and process. The best dentists are by far Dr. McLaurin and Dr. Johnson. They are among the elite!
