Fantastic experience: I’m so happy I found this office while looking for a new dentist! Kristen at the front desk was so nice and helpful, Nicole did a great job cleaning my teeth, and Dr. Kumar was so nice and did a great job fixing my filling. Everyone has been so friendly, and I’ve had such a great experience here. I’m really glad I found my new dentist!

Love Dr.Harry...been calling him this name since I started going there many years ago...I couldn't pronounce is name very well so said to call him Harry...this endeared him to me immediately. Fantastic experience: I've had great experiences with Toms River Smiles, all of the staff is friendly and accommodating! Fantastic experience: I can not say enough good things about my experience at TR Smiles! I found them through my insurance company and was very impressed with the amount of good reviews online. I had a dental problem and when I called they were able to fit me in the next day. The woman I spoke to on the phone was lovely! She was so friendly and patient! The office was very clean, organized, and had a lovely atmosphere. I was greeted with a smile and the staff was extremely professional and kind. The dentist was amazing!! He took the time to listen to me and explain everything. It was the best dental exam I’ve ever received! He also made the time to treat my issue so I could be pain free going into the weekend. I really liked that they made a treatment plan for me right then and there and the staff took the time to explain it to me and break down the pricing for everything. The dental assistant was absolutely amazing as well! She stayed with me the whole time, answered all of my questions, and was so kind and understanding! From start to finish it was a wonderful experience!

Negative experience: I went there for check up and cleaning about 7 years ago and the Dentist told me my implant which didn’t bother me was broken and had to be removed! I worried all these years about it and went back to the original dentist because it became loose! I took the two hour trip! He said the implant was not broken and tightened the screw! I remember the Dentist there at TR Smiles was nasty to me and said I would awaken one night and rushed to the Dentist! I give them one star the minimum but would go to zero! I tried to explain it was done recently and I had no pain at all! He became irritated and said it definitely had to be removed and he could install a new one but I had to go to the oral surgeon and have it removed! I never went back to TR Smiles! After all these years it became loose which is normal wear but it is definitely not broken and did not have to be removed! I did go to several other dentist through the years but they couldn’t tell anything and I had no pain so I decided to wait for the pain and abscess which never came ! It just became loose which is common after so many years!

Based on your description, it sounds like there may have been some confusion between the condition of the implant itself and a loose component or possibly a different tooth in the area, which can sometimes present similarly. Our goal is always to provide accurate information and recommend treatment based on what we see clinically at the time.
I’m also sorry to hear that the interaction didn’t feel as comfortable as it should have—that’s not how we want any patient to feel in our office. If you’d ever like us to review your records or discuss this further, I’d be happy to take another look and provide clarity.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to T.R. Smiles, it sure is named right. The entire staff was super friendly, and caring, that started with Sandra on my appointment phone call, leading up to Kristen at the front desk, and sadly I did not get the name of the woman who did my x-rays. Now Dr Kumar or as he introduced himself Harry ☺️ was very informative, explained everything in detail and made me feel super comfortable. With a lot of things going on with me a lot of things were wait and see, which made me feel real good, as he wasn't throwing a whole lot of do this or so that at me. We are taking care of what I need right now and will monitor other things! So I highly recommend T.R. Smiles Dental!!

Fantastic experience: The girls are always so helpful. I stopped in with out an appointment with a tooth that I thought needed to be pulled. They started X-rays on it before the Dr even arrived when he looked at it he said he could save it that it didn’t need to be pulled. I am so happy with that decision. Fantastic experience: Everyone that works at T.R. Smiles are so great. They are very warm and friendly. I've been going there for a while. I would recommend them to all.
Negative experience: I made an appointment for a second opinion. I expected to pay a fair amount. Unfortunately I felt I was roped into unwanted x Ray's, which I already had done previously with my dentist, and other unwanted misc. Long story short, it ended up costing me over $300.00. They wanted $300 for the visit. Then they offer you their insurance for about the same amount. I believe when you call and make an appointment for a second opinion, they should tell you at that time how much they charge for a second opinion. I would not recommend Tomsriver Smiles for a second opinion.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kumar is excellent!!! He also is very nice and explains ahead a time what he’s going to do. You couldn’t ask for a more friendlier and personable staff. Everyone greets you with a smile and says Hi, and they know your name! This means a lot to me! I haven’t had to wait for my appointment. I would definitely recommend this dentistry! I have having a lot of fittings with Sandra, so I just wanted to add how she has explained everything she is going to do and she is very good at her job. I’m so comfortable with her. This dentistry is your typical “family dentist” who cares!

Fantastic experience: All I can say is when I go there I feel like I'm going home the doctor is so good and when I say that he will not do anything to make extra money he'll tell you all the reasons why you don't need what you would like to have I love that quality in him. As far as the staff they're all very nice I mean really nice I get hugs I get kisses and a lot of laughter in fact today before I left I told three of them I would take them all home with me I guess what I wrote just says it all❤️

Fantastic experience: I never thought I would be someone who looks forward to my next dentist visit. I have anxiety regarding medical visits in general, but TR Smiles really does have me smiling when I leave. I have to have oodles of work done, but by the end of it, my mouth is in great shape, and that’s thanks to them. 10/10 service, and they’re also polite and pretty funny. Thanks for making me able to chew again! Update, had to go back in for an emergency root canal because I was in pain, and once again they made my visit calm, and helped me get to a point where I can heal, without being in constant pain. More kudos for TR Smiles
