Negative experience: I have had a lot of problems with these people whom call them selfs “Doctors” they mess up my tests multiple times but this time it’s serious I have an infection in my mouth making me dizzy and causing nausea they still have not made an appointment with a specialist like they said it has been 3 weeks and my antibiotics they gave me are all finished plus I have 2 other fillings that came out and 1 cavity I’m in pain ! I’m in so much pain physically and mentally with this so called Dentist office!

Fantastic experience: Dr Paliouras was absolutely fantastic with my son's root canals! My son has difficulty getting numb but the doctor took care of everything. He was very professional, kind, and put everyone's mind at ease.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the brick office and their staff. Both my daughter and I go for treatment and not only is the staff so accommodating, they are really comforting to any dental anxiety you might have. Kelly and Emily at the front desk are beyond helpful and the dental staff are patient and gentle. “No one likes the dentist” but this office has been a big reason I have returned for must needed treatment, thanks!

Negative experience: If I could give them 0 stars I would. Worst dental office ever. Just obtained insurance this year and my dental insurance is for this specific location. I made an apt for April that they called to notified me the day of my apt that whoever scheduled my apt made me an “existing patient” when I was a “new patient” and they could not see me and had to reschedule me. Okay fine. They told me they didn’t have anything open until July 6th(today). Sure I’ll wait over 2 months for an apt that your office messed up. I knew I had an apt today but never received a confirmation call, email or text ( I figured since it was the holiday weekend it was delayed ) I call today to confirm myself and I get told that I have no apt for today and that I’m not even in the system. I then explain the April incident and that’s when they say they see that in my file but they have no knowledge of an apt scheduled after that. The woman I spoke with advised me she had an opening at the end in the month in the middle of the day which I declined and I rather wait until the end of the year to change insurance policies. One mistake is fine but waiting over 5 months for a cleaning is diabolical. I rather wait another 5 to get into an office that has some brains. Whoever runs this place needs to be checked. Worst dental office I’ve ever experienced

Negative experience: Terrible office staff, didn’t send my request for Approval to my insurance for months, got seen dec 5th and they didn’t even receive the paperwork until the end of April. Finally came in for appointment didn’t see me for being 11 minutes late with an empty waiting room. (12:30, arrived 12:41) Made me reschedule for 2 weeks from now. Think they couldn’t be bothered to wait another 20 for lunch. Receptionist went outside and left minutes after I did.

Very caring and knowledgeable doctors, Dr Bahri, Director, and Dr Okany, oral surgeon both go above and beyond in caring for their patients. They work with you and ease your concerns every time. They head the “dream team” of dental, Evelyn, Latina/Lala, Colin, Angie, Emily, Kelly and Kathy!!!! Thank you to each and everyone one of you for taking the stress out of each part of taking care of teeth and gums!!!

Fantastic experience: The recent staff at Eastern Dental on 6/18/26 was as good as it gets. Lala was very personable and friendly as I had my teeth XRayed. Giovanna was also outstanding cleaning my teeth. She was incredibly steady and precise. No doubt the best cleaning I ever had at Eastern Dental. Finally Dr Badri came in for the check up and she was also very informative. Answered all my questions. I felt like a friend of hers for a long time. This is the best team they had in years. A fantastic staff at Eastern Dental in Brick NJ.

Fantastic experience: Update 2026: this office continues to be good for our family needs. We now take our two young children. They are very accommodating and sweet with young children, especially Dr. Badry. Would definitely recommend. 2023: I was assigned this office by my dental insurance and I’ve been very happy over the last few years. I’ve had regular cleanings every six months, and the office staff is polite, efficient, and thorough with cleanings. Only once did they try to upsell me on teeth whitening. Will gladly continue to go.

Negative experience: Where is dentist I’ve ever been to first they had the wrong chart and numbed up my mouth. Then after a lot of back-and-forth, they gave me a crown, which came out three months later bad service. I will never go back.

Everyone from the ladies at the front desk to the assistants and nurses were knowledgeable and friendly to speak with. The Drs.were also easy to work with and attentive. Great overall vibe. Negative experience: Appointment was at 11am. Asked at 11:15 how long the wait will be, was told "I don't know". She further went in to that they were backed up and there were others ahead of me. I asked to reschedule she then said she cannot guarantee there will be no wait at any time. I already waited 15 minutes I wasn't looking for no wait I was looking for an estimate. Why have appointments if they aren't kept? If you know your staff is running late why not call appointments ahead of time and adjust timing? Also waiting area didn't look kept up and staff having meaningless conversations while they are behind put the nail on the coffin for me.

Fantastic experience: Eastern Dentals staff, especially Dr Rishan are amazing. No matter how busy the office seems, I never sit long and I always feel like I have the full attention of the staff. Dr Rishan has been taking the time to make sure I am getting the proper treatment and that I am happy. Honestly, I feel that she is humbly fixing other peoples prior mistakes without taking credit. Fantastic experience: So I had a very bad experience at a dental office in Ocean township so I didn't go back to the dentist for a couple of years. I started to have tooth pain so my job helped me find Eastern dental in Brick I was very nervous but this place made me feel really comfortable and they where all super nice and they cared that my mouth was very sensitive they took really good care of me. I will definitely be going back. I really like this dentist office. I just want to say think you so much and see you again soon!

Fantastic experience: The dentist at this appointment was super compared to the ones I had before. She seemed like she really cared and even came in to ask the hygienist questions. She assured me about the need and safety of the X-rays. Debbie, the hygienist was awesome as usual.

Fantastic experience: Professional, courteous and relaxed and even fun. I felt very comfortable from the time I walked in to the time I left. My sister Mary Ann Lester was a periodontist in Rochester, NY and her practice was one of the best up there. My experience with Eastern Dental was on par with my late sister’s. Negative experience: Avoid! Deeply disorganized office. Took my 3 months to schedule an appointment. Waited for 40 mins for my scheduled appointment, before being told they could not tell me when I would be seen.

Fantastic experience: Gina Laird is the best. Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She knows her way around teeth. She completed my teeth cleaning efficiently and painlessly.

Positive experience: The technician was very good and informative. I would have given a5 star but I had an 11:00 appointment and was not taken in until after 12:00.

Fantastic experience: I’m a terrified person at the dentist, I’ve had terrible experiences in the past, walking in today I was full of nerves knowing I needed dental work done. Every single person from front desk, to Nikki the assistant, to Debbie the hygienist to the dentist herself and everyone in between was so loving and kind and make this experience so easy and good for me. I’m happy I finally found a dentist that I can trust and feel comfortable with!

Negative experience: **Update** As much as I loved that place at first for my son and we loved Evelyn being able to take his x-rays was out bothering him that’s literally the only good thing about this place is Evelyn. After spending over an hour in the waiting room going to see a doctor, they referred him to a Pediatric Dentist but to get the referral it took them two weeks till I had to walk in and asked for it and when I did that, that’s when they told me he actually doesn’t need a refer, but yet they made me wait two weeks then the Pediatric Dentist asked for his x-rays and short that also took a week after I filled the form. They asked me to fill and called three times. I had to walk in again to get this simple email sent to me with his throat and x-ray beside the fact the whole staff upfront had the worst attitude of their life. Even the manager had an attitude rolling her eyes at me when I speak to her. So if this place is losing business, you all should know it’s because of ur front staff ********************* Had an awesome experience today at my son’s appointment. He’s only 8 but everyone was so welcoming to him and loved loved the nurse that came and helped take his X-ray.. who knew she can get it without him gaging. I’m sad I didn’t catch her name but definitely once I find out I will update my review.

Fantastic experience: Today was a trying day. I had an extraction and the doctor explained to me why i was hurting. I actually thought it was infected but wasn't. Thank you to the caring doctors and staff at Eastern

Fantastic experience: Dr. Stewart is an excellent Surgeon, along with his Assistant. The extraction took less than 25 minutes, and there was absolutely no pain. I was in and out in about 35 minutes. My regular Dentist at Eastern Dental is Dr. Rishan, and she is also excellent. I recommend Eastern Dental. It's a very streamlined operation, with kind and helpful employees.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist was rude and quick to say to me that my insurance had changed. Then after we went back-and-forth about it. She said, oh, I'm sorry that you're not the patient that I was talking my mistake other than that, the dentist was very good.She gives me a thorough exam checking your tongue for cancer, checks gums for disease and the dental hygienist was extremely careful around the teeth as she removed all the tartar, she did an excellent job..

Negative experience: I’m typically not one to leave reviews, especially not a negative one but my experience with this dentist has been absolutely terrible. When I came in for an emergency exam, before I even checked in I saw a lady very pissed off with the front desk not thinking anything of it until I experienced this for myself. Now that I had my emergency exam; which they had me wait an hour for despite my appointment solely for a referral to an oral surgeon, it’s now been two weeks and not a word from them. I’ve called several times over the past two weeks because never have I ever had to wait over TWO WEEKS for a piece of paper. I’ve been basically drinking only smoothies because I’m in so much pain and I had to come into the office to re-request it even though over the phone they said it can take up to two weeks, it still isn’t ready. On top of that instead of emailing it to me they said I have to come back in again just to pick it up. Worst experience with a dentist I’ve ever had. I’ve been to several doctors offices, dentists, etc. that have given me a referral same day. This is absurd, don’t go here it’s awful and they don’t care about you.

Negative experience: Arrived early with all paperwork done, waited over an hour with no updates. Reception couldn’t even find my insurance, despite the card being accurate. Staff then claimed they had no paperwork for me and made me redo everything. Beyond unprofessional — absolutely the worst dental experience I’ve ever had.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an emergency exam due to pain on one side of my jaw and it was noted that it was my wisdom tooth which needed removal. Therefore, I needed another appointment, so I was hurting and prayed they could fit me in as soon as possible. I was so happy that they fitted me in for the following day. Dr. Bochner and Patty examined my tooth. Patty took the X-rays of my wisdom tooth that was so very far in the back of my jaw. Patty was so courteous and professional as she took the X-rays. Dr. Bochner was really nice and professional explaining the procedure. I was so scared about what needed to be done and didn’t want to feel pain during this extraction. Dr. Bochner was exceptional. He made sure that I was numb. I am so thankful that Dr. Bochner took care of my dental work.Eastern Dental with Dr. Bochner gives the best dental care with Patty, his assistant.Dr. Bochner, thank you so very much. You are a great dentist with a nice bedside manner.This is really appreciated because it really helps the patient. Patty thank you, because X-rays are painful at times.

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time showing up at your scheduled time. Last two visits all had to wait over 45 minutes. They don’t answer the phone, they don’t call you back.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental cleaning this past Tuesday afternoon (7/29). When I walked into the office, I was met with an “Hello Bradley” from the front desk person. That was a pleasant surprise since it was only the third time visiting this office. I had to wait only a few minutes before being called back. The dental hygienist was very friendly, thorough with looking through my history records, and explain explaining what she was going to do. The cleaning went quickly and painlessly. And the doctor to follow up her Cleaning came not long after and gave me a clean bill of health. All in all, it was very pleasant visit and professional courtesy was given.

Fantastic experience: Today I visited the Brick NJ location, I cannot express how great my experience was. My wait time was short and I was greeted by the nicest receptionists who were very personable. I saw Dr. Badri, she was so kind and gentle, I always become anxious in the dental chair. Her Dental Technician was kind and thorough also. Being it was my first time there, I was so impressed by Dr Badri who called me later that afternoon and told me she discussed my concerns with another dentist and they both agreed on a plan for me.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely awesome kind folks who truly took care of me. BTW I’m a retired ER NURSE so I know what great care looks like, sounds like and I certainly felt the caring of all the team.

Fantastic experience: Evelyn (Eve) was wonderful and quick to get the x-rays done. The dentist was nice even though my prognosis and work I need done is horrendous and expensive. My only complaint is that I was expecting a Rx for antibiotics to be called into my pharmacy. I called the office and was assured it would be called in by the days end but it's still not there and the office is now closed.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Deb and all the staff at Eastern dental in Brick are absolutely wonderful. In this day and age where medical care is sadly declining, it's refreshing to find a practice where you feel so comfortable and cared for. Dr. Deb was Very personable, professional, and kind. She also informed me of some extras my insurance covered that I didn't even know about. I wish she was my doc everywhere. Thanks Dr. DEB!

Negative experience: The experience for the emergency visit was spectacular. However, the answering service for eastern dental is the absolute worst! So unhelpful and unprofessional. I am disappointed as a whole, I feel the emergency was preventable. I don’t care for the work the initial dentist performed. The doctor who replaced my bridge did a wonderful job. No pain much better fit! I will be switching my Dentist for the future, for a “mom and pop” office. These Walmart doctor and dentist facilities have no personality

Negative experience: If I could give ZERO stars I would. This was my very first visit and at the end of my “visit” I was never actually seen. I waited an hour and 15 minutes to be called to the back and when I was called the nasty hygienist told me I’m not sure if they told you at the front but we won’t be able to clean your teeth today because we’re short staffed. My appointment was literally for a cleaning! No one called me to try and reschedule and neither of the staff members at the front desk bothered to mention anything to me even though I spoke with one several times while there. Not to mention they were overbooked with about 10 patients in the lobby at the same time. What an absolute scam of a dentists office. Instead of calling patients to reschedule they still take your money and make you waste your time. Not to mention the staff was very unprofessional in the way they handled everything. Maybe if the woman at the front wasn’t too busy on personal calls she would have remembered to mention they wouldn’t be able to provide me with a cleaning. Don’t bother wasting your time!

Fantastic experience: Had an issue with another dental office in a different state. This office bent over backwards to help me out with the issue. Set up an appointment and everything was handled professionally and without delay. Actually got me an early for an appointment when an issue developed.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rishan and her assistant Evelyn are absolutely amazing. They’ve worked on me about 5 times now together and every time I go, they make sure I am comfortable. They care and go above and beyond to make sure that I am not feeling any pain. They lighten the mood to make sure any anxiety is not felt. I am so pleased whenever I go and see both of them, honestly I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else. Dr. Rishan is gentle, does amazing dental work and her and Evelyn work amazing together. I absolutely cannot say enough good things. As someone who experiences extreme dental anxiety, never once have I felt it being in the hands of Dr. Rishan and it’s even better when Evelyn is by her side. Evelyn is compassionate and incredibly caring and talks to you to keep your mind off of what’s going on. Again, I can’t say enough good things about either one of them. I am so pleased to have both of them doing my dental work.

Fantastic experience: The dentist, hygienist, and the dental assistant Lena (I remember her name) she was very nice ! Made my first time experience there while getting my cleaning very smooth as we went between rooms, Xrays, etc. Very easy in and out the entire process . I can’t complain.

Negative experience: would give a zero if i could. they told me my wisdom teeth aren’t coming in when they were clearly visibly popping through and i was in pain. they told me that i would be wasting my time going to an oral surgeon so i trusted them. now a little while after my wisdom teeth are coming through my gums and im in excruciating pain. thankfully oral surgeon had a cancellation for this week. can barely eat or open my mouth. never going here again.

Negative experience: UPDATE: Everything everyone said was right. Most of the staff was OK but administration is awful because there is absolutely no communication. I had something get denied by my insurance and I tried calling Eastern dental for six months. I left 12 voicemails without a callback. Just had an issue with the staff as well arguing trying to get me to get a full set of x-rays after I just one a month ago: THEY REFUSED TO DO A ROUTINE CLEANING BC THEY WANTES MORE X-RAYS. The hygienist said she would get a supervisor to talk to me about getting my last X-rays forwarded to them.. since they lost the X-rays from last time. Then sent over the most trashy DENTAL ASSISTANT!!! No supervisor or manager on site!! After a terrible experience at encore dental 2 years ago, I was petrified of conglomerate dental practices and have been avoiding routine dental work because of it. However, my insurance stopped covering my old dentist; and it seems to only cover these large practices. After researching dentists, I decided to go to Dr. Bronner, at eastern dental of brick and I’m so glad I did. Everyone in this office, from the receptionist, to the Assistant miss Ev or Evelyn, the hygienist, Miss Deb to the dentist himself were absolutely fantastic. They were knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, empathetic and respected my right to choose which treatments I wanted to receive. I did not feel bullied, coerced or pressured into anything. My teeth were cleaned beautifully, and I’m not afraid to go back to get a crown on a broken molar. Thanks for being so professional , courteous, and kind. ❤️

Fantastic experience: So I have a horrible fear of the dentist since I was a kid to where I have a hard time sitting in the chair getting x rays ...everyone from the the secretary to the dentist made me as comfortable as one could be with such and big fear ...everything was explained well and all options were talked about and what was best for me.

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth pulled. Super friendly staff, excellent dentist. When the numbness wore off I had Zero pain. Smooth procedure and quick with no problems. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I plan on leaving a one star review on every single Eastern Dental office until they fix their crappy scheduling system. For some reason, the managers at the top think it’s a great idea for patients to have to call back and schedule their next appointment instead of allowing them to schedule the appointment while they’re at their Previous appointment like every other dentist does. The dumbest part about this is that their excuse for having this horrible system is that they don’t schedule appointments more than five months out. Meanwhile, when I call back, they aren’t booking appointments for the next eight months. WTH?

Positive experience: Dentist did not recommend a solution to buy to eliminate the canker sore in bottom jaw. Also. Did not go over the Xray of mouth. Tech had a problem with xray device. I will buy Smartmouth. Clinical rinse to eliminate canker sore before next week’s appt.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient, I am so happy to have found a dental team to take care of all my needs. It started as an emergency and in a couple of days it was all solved. Very confident with Eastern Dental, from the office staff to the doctors, great experience.

Negative experience: Had an appointment for a broken cap that went well, was told I needed a follow for a permanent fix. Scheduled an appointment2 weeks out was cancelled day of, rescheduled again 2 weeks out, cancelled again day of. I havent been able to eat normally for a month. Would not recommended.

Negative experience: Try to find somewhere else if you can. I had a cavity filling done, the dentist was rude and air-headed (like all the other male dentists I’ve had here) . He over-drilled my tooth, I knew something was wrong immediately after because I had extreme sensitivity to hot/cold or salty/sugary foods which has NEVER happened to me with any of the other 6 fills I’ve had in the past with a different dentist. When i told them something was wrong they just told me it was normal and brushed it off. I ended up being told I needed a root canal because the nerve was literally touching the crown of my tooth after that horrendous filling experience. I came back a while later to get my root canal with a different dentist than the one who did my filling, he was even more of an arrogant smarty pants. I just wanted to ask a couple questions and he rolled his eyes at me and tried to assume I was avoiding treatment when I just wanted to be informed. Front desk staff always have a bad attitude and NEVER answer the phone. Unless you have to go here because of your insurance, please save your time and go literally anywhere else .

Negative experience: Waited over three months for my appointment got text and emails to fill out the new patient forms. Drove to the office and it was closed. Would have been nice to get a call or email or text. Wasted 10 minutes filling out the forms and half an hour driving to and from the office

Negative experience: 0 Stars is literally what this place should have ratings of. This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional. I had an emergency and was placed on a wait for 2 weeks. On the day of my appointment, I called the hotline to confirm my appointment since in the 2 weeks I waited for this appointment, NO ONE called me to confirm. I have private insurance and was unfortunately assigned to this place. On the day of my appointment, I was told it was canceled. No reason just canceled, and no one in that office answers or calls back. Originally, the lady in the Howell office made me an appointment with this office because they refused to give me an appointment for an emergency and offered me one in 6Months. This place is TRASH.

Negative experience: Never in all my years have I encountered such an inefficient and incompetent Dental practice!! After REPEATED phone calls and messages to request a clearance form for major surgery (my husbands Dr required it) no-one answered the phone, and no-one ever returned our calls. the dr's nurse tried calling several times to no avail, we left explicit messages as to what we needed and why. Something untoward is happening in this practice, if anyone knows who I can contact that is in charge, I would greatly appreciate it. My husbands surgery came real close to being cancelled because of the incompetence of this organization

Negative experience: Terrible experience! I booked a cleaning back in July for sometime in the beginning of September. When I showed up for my appointment they told me that they didn't have me in their system since I made an appointment through their answering service and the systems are not linked. What does that even mean What's the point of having an answering system if it doesn't go into your system?!?!?! So they rescheduled me for 3 weeks later. But when I showed up again for my appointment they said the doctor had an emergency and they had to cancel. They told me they tried calling everyone on schedule for the day but I got no calls or messages telling me not to come. What kind of service is this? Twice they messed up with my appointments! I will take my business elsewhere!
