Fantastic experience: Such a friendly office.

Negative experience: Went in for a crown. They gave me the total of what it would cost for the work including insurance. I paid in full at that time. When I went back for a cleaning weeks later, they told me they didn't charge me enough for the crown and they wanted another almost $250! It seemed to me like a classic bait and switch. But for the approximately $250 i feel they extorted from me, they lost alot more in future work. So Floss daily and double check your bill.

No waiting time and the doctor and staff couldn't be anymore respectful and kind, I used to go to the office in Monroe NY and I highly recommend both of them.

Positive experience: My hygienist today was Maria and she was great! This was my fourth and best visit so far. Everyone has always been very respectful, but Maria made me feel like I was talking to a friend. She provided great customer service and did a great job on the cleaning as well! I would give my visit today a 5/5, but the practice overall a 4/5 given my prior visits did not meet the same standard as Maria set today!

Had to get a few fillings to get back to healthy and Dr. Katz made it super easy and painless. His office staff made it remarkably easy to set up all my appointments, and the subsequent cleanings with Dennis were quick and highly encouraging. I will be a regular patient at HF Dental Group.

Fantastic experience: I had to come in for what turned out to be an emergency visit due to a cracked tooth, and I honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. From the moment I called on Thursday, they made room for me the very next day. That alone meant a lot, especially being in pain. When I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and efficient. Marisol, the office manager, is truly a gem—so kind and reassuring. Amanda, the assistant, and the dentist were equally wonderful. They were gentle, attentive, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. What I appreciated most was how thorough and honest they were. The dentist took the time to clearly explain all my options—root canal, saving the tooth, or extraction with an implant—without any pressure. I was given medication to manage the pain and encouraged to go home, think things through, and make the best decision for myself. The visit itself was very reasonably priced, which was a relief. I didn’t leave feeling overwhelmed or stressed—in fact, despite being in pain, I left feeling cared for and supported. They handled everything with professionalism and compassion, and I’m truly grateful. I highly recommend this office. I have nothing but positive things to say.

Fantastic experience: My favorite dental clinic ever (except my grandfather’s clinic, of course)! We have used many dental clinics over 3 continents and 6 states and this is actually one of my all-time favorites. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and professional without being clinical and cold. The appointments are on time and efficient. The practice is in a house that is cozy and comfortable. I’m a fan of this practice and recommend it for sure!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best dental care. Doctor was friendly, smart and well versed. He found 2 dental problems in my mouth today and right away proposed a plan to fix them. I agreed with his proposal and did impressions at the same visit with follow up visit to fix the problems. Hygienist was gentle in my mouth and still accomplished the cleaning, as I felt cleanse after she was done. Can’t wait for my follow up visit to finalize treatment. Highly recommended and extremely satisfied.

The dentist was very impersonal, would not want to see him again, the dentist that I normally see was not in. Fantastic experience: This dental group is, by far, the best in the Hudson Valley. I had gone to a different dentist eith a terrible toothache and was told I needed a root canal. The earliest appt for that would be 3 weeks away. What??? I couldn't possibly wait. I called Highland Falls Dental Group and spoke to the nicest receptionist. She gave me an appointment right away, within hours of my call. Not only that, Dr. Marc Faber did the root canal same day! Painlessly, I might add. He immediately put me at ease and was very gentle. Not heavy handed like some dentists can be. His assistant, Amanda was great, also. She was so kind and friendly I will never go to any other place. If you're looking for a compassionate, gentle and professional practice, look no further! This place is it!

All procedures (X-Ray, photos, cleaning and exam) were explained and the hygenist (Dennis) and dentist (Dr. Kay) both spent time making sure that I was informed and satisfied. I can recommend them without reservation. Updated on 5/20/2025. I've been with Highland Falls Dental Group for five years now. The care has been consistently outstanding. I am especially grateful to Dr. Spector, who diagnosed my Trigeminal Neuralgia in early 2024, and that early diagnosis helped me get relief within months instead of years. I now have Sam as my hygienist and she's top notch! I continue to recommend them without reservation.

Positive experience: Professional staff, competent and safe care, clean and organized equipment, appointments are well scheduled. My only comment is that it takes some getting used to as there is a different dentist who examines the patient after all dental hygienist cleanings.

Negative experience: They don’t respect their appointments and lie about it trying to convince you that you are wrong. Even when you have all the appointments recorded and communicated with you via text messages. They are also fishy when it comes to adding services to the insurance.

Quickly was seen after my arrival and crown was ready for installing 40 minutes after initial prep work. Very little discomfort and dental team helps you feel comfortable.
