Fantastic experience: Tiffany, Bethany and Emily are so friendly! Tiffany does an excellent job of thorough ly cleaning my teeth. I really like the ultrasonic cleaning that gets all the plaque with no pain. Dr. Heckman is very knowledgeable. The whole crew are great!

Fantastic experience: Called last minute on a Friday and they got me in and took care of me. Great staff amazing care. Glad I found them. They will be my dentist from here on out.

Negative experience: Rude on the phone sad because we have delta dental. Usually delta members are treated more kindly.

Fantastic experience: Always a good experience! Gentle, friendly, and attentive.

Positive experience: Overall good but if you are a Medicaid patient be expected to be treated like one. All the employees know who pays with what insurance and it's acceptable with these low-creativity positions to classify people. In a sense, you're a little less than what they see as an acceptable person.

Fantastic experience: The office staff are wonderful. They were able to get me in immediately and start the process for my dentures. They fit wonderful and I recommend many people there. I absolutely love my new dentures, my self confidence has boosted, and I have a beautiful smile now.

Negative experience: I took my elderly mother for appointment. We got there a few minutes early and the door was locked. I looked for posted lunch hours and didn't find anything. Heckman Dental needs to post lunch hours. The website says 9-5. It's not really 9-5 if they are gone for lunch.

Negative experience: Shopping around for a new dentist called (Sept 16th 2024) told by receptionist not currently accepting new patients

Negative experience: i drove my friend all the way to ur location and u told her she could not be seen today because y’all messed up her contact info and used a phone number from 2010? like who does that? and then u tell her that u don’t have her appointment even tho she got a confirmation text. THEN you told her that there is nothing yall can do about it and to go see someone else. this place is absolutely unprofessional and should be closed down. you do not care about ur patients nor how they feel.

Fantastic experience: Chipped a front tooth that was damaged in a car wreck many years ago. Dr. Heckman’s office got me in lots faster than anyone else could. Took about an hour but he fixed me back up. And I think my tooth looks better now than it did! Clean facility, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, and quick and knowledgeable dentist. Will recommend to family and friends.

Negative experience: I had almost all of my teeth pulled. The guy left at least 3 teeth in that were supposed to be pulled bc they were being difficult, and it was past time on a Friday afternoon...plus I heard him say: "there's a chip in there, but I'm not gonna get it, it'll just heal.." Now my gums are throbbing with pain! No discharge instructions or any paperwork. Just a follow up to get the other teeth pulled BEFORE I GET MY DENTURES! So I'm going to have to wait even longer?! Just bc they wanted to get out on a Friday Afternoon...this place is in for one HECK of a phone call.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dental work, easy to get started with (even if it's been a long time since your last visit) and super nice. They got me back into the habit of getting regular teeth cleanings after 8 years of not going to the dentist.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming (shout out to Tiffany and Bethany) and Dr. Heckman's work has been excellent. The office is close to where I work but I think I'd drive the extra distance even if it wasn't.

Dr. Heckman is intelligent, kind, and honest. They are not looking to upsell patients, only help keep your teeth healthy. I had another appointment immediately following my visit and they were understanding and professional getting me out at exactly the time I requested. Fantastic experience: Love these people! Started going to them when I moved to Nicholasville 4 years ago, and have stuck with them since. I've since moved, but still make the half-hour drive because of the great, honest work they do. Dr. Heckman is extremely skilled, and his staff are highly capable and exude professionalism. They refuse to do unnecessary work for the sake of billing more to your insurance, so you can trust that you are getting an honest assessment from them.

Fantastic experience: Since I started coming to Heckman Dental I have never left disappointed! The staff take time to get to know you on a personal level rather than treating you as just another patient. It is very family oriented and they all seem to enjoy their jobs and get along well with each other. My entire family has started coming here as well and we all have squeaky clean teeth when we leave. The hygienists take their time to make sure everything is taken care of before sending us on our way!

Fantastic experience: This is a nice place. I go here regularly. It's great how they remember you and they ask about your family. I don't know of any other place that does that. Most importantly, Tiffany is awesome at her job! I didn't like going to the dentist before because it was painful for me. I have sensitive gums. Tiffany does a great job when it comes to that and she keeps my mind off of the pain. If you are looking for a good place for your chompers, this is it! LOL!

Fantastic experience: Tiffany cleans teeth using a vibrating magic eraser, the love of a new mother and tenacity of car salesman. She turned my dirty hobo smile into a Seacrest glamour shot. I've seen Tiffany rescue a kitten stuck in a tree with nothing but a roll of floss and a vinyl glove. Fact: Tiffany killed Voldemort. And Heckman is cool too.
