Fantastic experience: Another low stress, high quality visit. Great experience.

Negative experience: I took my father to get a toothfixed in a denture he had to pay cash for We have been there before this time they did some testing that didn't protan to what we wanted.these testing they didn't tell him that they were going to do so. So the vist was only to send denture out to get fixed and charged him for 3 diff test totaling 556.00 dont let them trick or manipulate that its protocol! It isn't!

Negative experience: They bait and switch you. My wife was told her final bill was 500.00. when we go in, they now say there's an additional 800.00 due. They said the 500 was for an old bill. What old bill and why wouldn't you say that when we called, asking you for the total bill, for everything.

Fantastic experience: Excellent care. No pain. I was stressed, but not because of them. Just remembered scary military dental services.

Positive experience: This was not my first visit at Audubon Dental. Previously, I had enjoyed this place because it felt safe and I liked the hygienist and Dr. Steele. My past cleaning in December did not go as expected. It felt like I was being Nickel and Dimed for a treatment that was not necessarily 100% needed/required, as my case was not that serious. After I refused the expensive “specialty” cleaning, I was disappointed at the “cleaning” I received. I did not receive an actual polish of my teeth, but just a scraping and flossing. To have to shell out $45 post-insurance, I was not impressed. My experience really made me not want to come back. It felt like I was being sold these treatments for something that was not as serious. It made me feel like a dirty, unhygienic human. I was constantly being asked if I was okay, and if anything was going on. To be honest, I didn’t owe them a response even if there was something going on in my personal life.

Fantastic experience: Great dental office! The hygienist Abby is awesome, definitely the best cleaning I’ve ever had! Dr. Steele did a fantastic job giving me my smile back!

Fantastic experience: My first time at the office, everyone from receptionist, dental assistants, and the dentist are all pleasant, nice, explains everything in detail, shows you what needs to be done and asks for your input!!! So glad they are going to be my new family dentistry!!!!!

Negative experience: Almost secretive about your final cost. A cancer screening that i didn't want cost me $85.00. Living in social security, it was unaffordable

Positive experience: The dental staff is phenomenal! However, the acting manager can be quite rude. I’ll never leave the practice unless I have to because the care you receive is amazing. They take time to explain everything they are doing and try their best to make things affordable. I do wish they would make their confirmation policy more known (since theirs is different than any place I have ever been to) and that the acting manager was more willing to solve issues instead of ignore them

Negative experience: Apparently I am above their pay grade. I do have chronic periodontal disease and bone loss and have been maintaining between my periodontists and dentist and hygienist. I have my teeth cleaned every 3 months and this office has been helping me maintain for several years, but at this visit they could not clean my teeth because my X-rays showed more bone loss than the previous visit and even though my health has not changed and had no complaints from me. So I will move on.

Fantastic experience: TLDR: These women cater to cowards! My first experience with Audubon Dental was amazing. I am scared to death of having dental work done as I had a very traumatic experience a few years ago. The women here are rock stars! They were so gentle and patient with me. Especially Dee. She was so good at helping me calm down. I was there for an emergency tooth extraction. The tooth was broken at the gum line and was abscessed. I'd been in pain for weeks trying to put off a trip to a dentist. I let it get to the point that I couldn't even function because of the pain in my head, ear, and face. The procedure was successful and I am pain free today (the morning after surgery). I don't even need Tylenol! I highly recommend this place! I will definitely visit them again!

Negative experience: Not at all pleased with this unprofessional dentist office. I had already visited a different dentist and knew I needed an extraction. I chose this place because they accept my insurance and offered nitrous. I explained to them several times that I cannot do the bite wing x-rays due to my gag reflex being horrible. I have always gotten the panoramic one since I was a kid. I had to tell the dentist this again the day of my visit because of the lack of communication that goes on here. The day of my visit, the dentist literally looked at me and said, "You have to get the bite wing, and if you don't like it, you can leave." She was not compassionate or professional to her patients' needs. She was in charge and wasn't afraid to let me, a customer essentially, know it. Will not return or recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Let me begin by saying going to the dentist is not tops on my list of fun things to do. I had a bad experience some years ago that deterred me from getting proper dental care moving forward. So needless to say I was due a visit and I’m grateful Audubon got me in so quick. As soon as I walked in I noticed it was a very nice/comfortable environment. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Erin was my hygienist for the day, she was great. She knew I was nervous and instantly began to help me with that by explaining what we were doing and by telling me I’m in good hands. Then it was time for Dr Hackett, who also knew how nervous I was. He was amazing. I had to have some root tips removed and didn’t feel a thing. He completely erased my fear of the dentist office in one visit. I’m so very grateful and look forward to going back to continue working on my smile. I highly recommend this practice for anyone.

Negative experience: The worst set of dentures I've ever had. This dental office received $3000.00 of my insurance money. I'm unable to wear the dentures. Buyer be aware. The worst dental service I've ever had.

Fantastic experience: I went to Audubon Dental and Implant Center with an emergency toothache yesterday. I called and they were able to get me in the same day and took care of me! I am so thankful that they make time for people who are in pain. They showed true compassion. Best of all, the cost was very reasonable, even being out of network for me!

They are so warm and welcoming, they want to do what they can to make you as calm as possible. They take time and give such attention to your concerns and your nerves. Fantastic experience: Tried another place for my tooth implant and cost was high and ran into some billing issues. Came back to Audubon and Dr. Steele and staff was so accommodating and willing to work with me to continue my tooth implant procedure. Very happy to be back.

Negative experience: See other 1 star reviews for the same thing below. Awful awful awful.. they try to force you into specialized cleanings that you have to pay for when I came in and ruined my whole day to get a normal cleaning. Not to mention the last two times they broke my permanent retainer and tried to make me pay for it… this place was great when dr hacket was here.. I was done last time after they broke my retainer but I gave them one more chance. They literally said I cannot get my cleaning done because I didn’t want to do an under the gum procedure. All they care about is getting the most money out of you possible.

Fantastic experience: Audubon provides qualified, professional, and courteous service. They got me in for a root canal the very next day, not 2 weeks later like another Endondontist to which I was referred. I’ll never go anywhere else for specialty dental work!

Negative experience: Not a good experience AT ALL! I have been in pain with a toothache for a week. I went to Audubon and the dentist said there is nothing wrong with my tooth and she sent me away in excruciating pain. I just went to another dentist for a second opinion and he immediately seen that I have an abscess and prescribed an antibiotic and a treatment plan.

Negative experience: After my visit this morning , I left this place feeling unhappy / defeated and because of this visit I probably will not go back to another dentist . The dentist was just really weird with a strange demeanor. She had a hard time speaking the English language and she struggled to explain herself. I went there hoping cosmetically they could fix the gap in my teeth with for example bonding, veneers , or lumineers as this is what they advertise they do. Instead , she offered Invisalign which is something I told them I did not want because I had already tried it. She acted like the gap in between my teeth was no big deal . I know my smile is not that bad compared to other people but, I just feel as though they did not want my business. There are lots of people who cosmetically want to fix their smile . I was not impressed with this place at all or the dentist . Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Negative experience: I paid $23.000 for dentures with 2 implants. One implant came out a year later. They have new dentist now that don't do implants yet so I was referred to another dentist and will have to pay to have the implant replaced. I have to say everyone in the office is very friendly and kind, but I feel as if I shouldn't have to pay again for a failed implant that was so expensive.

Negative experience: I went to dentist with terrible pain in my jaw, rated my pain 10/10, tooth was split in two. Hurt like that for close to a month, dentist did not care for my pain nor if I had an infection. Very displeased with this place. They don't care for their patients. Go elsewhere. Wish I never wasted my time going here, caused me more suffering and money.

Fantastic experience: While traveling in the area, the tooth I broke a few months back decided that even breathing as going to hurt. I am typically terrified of the dentist so I put everything off until it's unmanageable anymore. I could no longer put this tooth pain off. I called and they were able to get me in for an appointment that afternoon. I am visibly anxious as soon as I walk into the waiting room. The dental assistant was literally the best I've ever seen. She kept making me laugh so much that I forgot where I was located. She took my x-rays and handed me off to the dentist to get the problem tooth pulled. They were willing to give me gas to calm me down and even allowed me to have my ear buds in to drown out the dentist noises during the procedure. If I lived in the area, I would make this my regular dentist based on this experience.

Fantastic experience: This is the third time I have visited the office. It’s very aesthetically pleasing and clean. All of the staff members make me feel welcome and relaxed about my visit. I have experienced little to no waiting time and my hygienist is always very thorough when cleaning my teeth. They have email and text reminders so you don’t have to worry about forgetting your appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Hackett and his staff!

Positive experience: I received a denture implant about 6 years ago. I’m very happy with my smile now and how well the staff treat me as a client. I have had some ups and downs with 2 implant failures. I had one replaced successfully. I need a bone graft to fix the other… But Dr Tackett continues to help me work through my issues, in a professional, caring manner.

Negative experience: So I just was at Audubon Dental today. We were talking procedures in the 15 to 20k range. They told me I needed another $250 x-ray, but it would be taken off the 15 to 20k procedure. So I went to have the x-ray. After I did the $250 (that was not necessary, but was told I needed) they presented me with one dental plan of 36K and one for 42K. No where were these amounts ever brought up. I fully believe they sold me a $250 add on knowing I would not agree to a procedure 2.5x the amounts which were discussed. Beware and get a firm quote before you do any business with these people. They will promise you one thing, get you to accept additional services, and then hit you with an estimate 2.5x what you talked about.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very courteous and professional. Dr Hackett did a great job of examining teeth and explained everything in detail. Great place to go for dental care.
