Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Grimes for numerous times and the service I receive including that of his staff is exceptional and highly recommended. This exceptional service continues with Emerald Waters Dental Care. I broke off part of my tooth. They met with me quickly, fitted for a protective cap the came day with scheduled followup appointment. These are seemingly rare services found these days. Thank you!!!

Today was my 3rd visit after the last 2 were amazing, I had several cavities and broke it up into 2 trips ,very clean curtious kind, very gentle, I had know idea when he was finished because your relaxed and they do not hurt you, both trips very gentle and perfect results, and State of the art practices. ..I was blown away when I looked in the mirror I could not tell where the cavities were.. He is and artist... The staff at Emeral Waters treat you like family , they truly care about you.... I have never in my entire life been had the quality and care that Dr. Todd Ball and staff and also Dr Arlena Tapia... I feel so blessed a friend was going to them today was my 3rd visit,,, I feel like a new person your 2 front teeth are so inportant.. until my first consultation I had no idea I had been grinding my front teeth they started chipping I had grinded them so bad and Dr Todd made them strong and beautiful,, without the knowledge they had to correct this I have know doublt they would have chipped away... They look amazing... The staff at Emeral Waters are angels,, they make you feel like family I know with Emeral Waters I am in good hands, In my entire life no one compares to them!!! They truly care Wonderful caring and State of the art care!!!

Positive experience: The staff are very kind. I'm giving this rating because of the long wait time, 1.5 hours, beyond my appt time. Suggested that I could've been briefed on the delay and kept updated at least every half hour. They were apologetic to me about the delay.

Fantastic experience: I’ve seen Drs Allen and Brown since I was four years old. I really grew close to Dr. Grimes and his team of assistants, especially Alecia who is an exceptional dental hygienist. The front office staff has always been very personal, friendly, and professional. Throughout the years the practice has had a cozy vibe rather than a corporate feel. I hope things don’t change, not just for the patients, but for the dedicated staff that have been there for years.

Fantastic experience: I will miss my lovely hygienist Cassandra and Dr Marla Allen (retired) but I had my first appointment yesterday with hygienist Brianna and she did a thorough and great job cleaning my teeth, they feel so clean! I met my new dentist Dr Travis Ball and he was polite and professional and I’m looking forward to a great relationship with the new team!

Negative experience: Our experience with Emerald Waters Dental Care was frustrating from start to finish. After my husband’s extensive dental work, we ran into major insurance issues despite having both primary and secondary coverage. Instead of resolving why one insurer paid and the other did not, the office told us they submitted the same documents to both and left it at that. When I contacted the secondary insurance myself, they said specific documentation was missing. I spent six hours calling both insurance companies, gathering the correct codes, and resubmitting paperwork — work their office should have handled. We were also told my husband couldn’t schedule further visits unless the entire balance was paid, even though insurance processing was still pending. We paid an amount we weren’t prepared for just to continue care. A second billing issue involved our son’s cleaning. We were told his primary insurance paid only $6 because his student status wasn’t updated. When I asked how primary insurance is determined for a dependent with two policies, I was repeatedly told to “call your insurance company” instead of receiving a clear answer. The tone was dismissive and unhelpful. Shortly after, we were informed they had not properly adjusted the account and that we were being removed from the practice. Throughout this process, we were left to manage billing and insurance corrections ourselves. If you choose this office, be prepared to closely monitor your claims and advocate for your own billing resolution.

Positive experience: I have been a patient for several years. I have been extremely happy until my last visit a few days ago. Dr. Grimes is no longer at the office and it has changed the dynamics of the office tremendously. Going to the dentist is never easy, but he always made it less painful. Dr. Grimes was always cheerful, spent time with his patients and would happily answer any questions. He will be greatly missed.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure to meet Alex the hygienist. For somebody who suffers from severe anxiety with any dental procedure, I was very relieved about a very positive experience. Alex was very understanding and did an awesome job to explain everything she was doing.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown come loose and they were able to schedule me in for an appointment within one day of my call. They were efficient and informative about the process of putting the crown back on the tooth.

Negative experience: Went in to see Dr Grimes as I had a confirmation of my appointment. Wasn't told until the dental hygienist finished cleaning my teeth' which took 20 minutes only, that adr Grimmes was no longer with them. The Dr. I saw was very impersonate. All he said was let's see, open, close. Okay. Very disappointing

Fantastic experience: Best teeth cleaning I have had.we went for our 6 month teeth cleaning and my teeth are white. I had a lot of coffee and tea stains on my teeth now there white again.

Positive experience: My hygienist is absolutely wonderful. She does a great job always polite. Very unhappy about the firing of my Dentist. I am going to probably be looking for a new Dentist specially after all the help he gave me after going through cancer.

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth over the weekend and called first thing Monday morning to see if they could help me. They not only got me in that morning, but they were able to put a temporary crown on the tooth the same day. I go back in two weeks for the permanent crown. The staff a very professional and polite! A+A+A+. My only disappointment is that Dr. Michael Grimes is no longer there. He was one of the best dentist I’ve ever had.

Fantastic experience: I lost a crown, and Dr. Allen's office got me in within two working days (I had no pain from the crown loss). I've been a patient there for over 30 years. When I first started there I could not afford the work needed, and had no dental insurance. Dr. Allen and her staff worked with me so I could get the necessary work done. I'm not the bravest person around dentists, but everyone in the office there makes it as pleasant as possible when I go. I hope she realizes she has to keep practicing until she's about 96. I've gotten a little spoiled.

Fantastic experience: Had a crown come off and they got me within the hour and cemented back on. Needing a base built back up for better adhesion and did that the next day after a patient canceled their appointment. Everyone in this office is professional, friendly, cheerful from front desk to dental staff. Dental work is never a fun ordeal but the staff and Dr. Allen are A+, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: These guys are great, I need a fair amount of work done and they are putting together a plan for me and even potentially save me 3 trips to Pensacola, they didn't judge me for being a former tobacco user, staff was great and the Dr is all work?, he tells it how it is and I appreciate that, I hope the va continues to let me go there. Update: got the first of 2 teeth pulled and didn't feel a thing, it's 2 days later still minimal pain and gargling salt water is doing the trick and I'm brushing but not hard, the recommended philips sonicare 5100 is amazing as well as the waterpik aquarious, and they work great together... I haven't been to a dentist since 2006 and Dr Grimes and staff made me feel surprisingly comfortable, I plan on having all future work done by Dr Grimes at Emerald waters dentistry... 10/10. Update, got my first round of cavities filled and it was great, didn't feel a thing, it was good to see the staff and Dr. Grimes again, they are all really good caring people another update next round of fillings....... final cavity filled yesterday, im done for now but will always go to Dr. Grimes
