Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Very professional. Made me extremely relaxed even though I was scared. Had me laughing through the procedure with no laughing gas. Going to be moving soon so definitely hope to get the rest of the work I need done by then before I leave. I didn’t have to pay thanks to the VA. But gladly would have. I hate going to the dentist but am very appreciative of the folks who took care of me on my last trip here. Thanks you guys.

Negative experience: At first I enjoyed my experiences there. Through the VA I had gotten some fillings done. When I went back to the main dentist twice after expressing that my tooth still hurt and that I could still visibly see a dark spot where he filled he dismissed me and told me to use sensitivity toothpaste..well, some months go by and now EXACTLY where I told him I was still having pain, there are two discolored visible to the eye PAINFUL HOLES in THAT SAME TOOTH. I wish he had listened to me when I said something was wrong instead of brushing me off. I had to wait for my VA referral to be renewed and asked for any other place but here. It’s not ok to leave a healthcare facility feeling unheard but then for it to wind up detrimental was the icing on the cake. I’m able to go somewhere else thank goodness. I hope the dentist learns to put whatever ego that was aside and listen to his patients next time.

Negative experience: As a veteran who served this country with the honorable discharge for my military service. I was referred to this dental clinic through the VA Community Care program. My initial appointment and cleaning went well, and the VA approved the recommended dental work on September 2, 2025. Unfortunately, after receiving approval, communication from the clinic effectively stopped. Over the past nine months, I have made multiple phone calls, visited the office in person, and repeatedly been told that someone would contact me to schedule treatment. Despite these assurances, I have never received a return call or a clear explanation for the delay. My frustration is not only with the delay itself but with the lack of communication and follow-through. As a veteran relying on approved care, I expected timely scheduling or at least honest updates regarding the status of my treatment. If the clinic is unable to provide services within a reasonable timeframe, patients deserve to be informed so they can seek care elsewhere. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office due to the prolonged delay and poor communication.

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience. Dr. Boyce did a crown and fillings on me and Kimberly was my dental hygienist. They were very gentle, kind, and thorough. I highly recommend them for anyone who experiences dental anxiety. They are very calming and pleasant and make sure you always feel comfortable. They will put all your anxiety at ease. The dental assistant was also very nice, as well as the receptionists.

Fantastic experience: I have lived in 5 states and 4 countries. He is beyond a doubt the best dentist I’ve ever had. I have referred at least 5 other people to Dr. Pohl, all of whom now rely upon him for all their dental needs. Moreover, he is a man of kindness, integrity and principle.

Negative experience: Everyone was very professional. I've never had my eys covered for a dental appointment, however in the future I will ask for this everytime. UPDATE (from 5 stars) I switched dentists due to the OVERWHELMING DELAYS. More than 4 times my appointment went past 40 minutes before I was seen.

Negative experience: I went to Dr. Pohl to get bottom dentures because I was missing many teeth anyway. It has been 5 months since I've had bottom dentures. As of today, I have been back several times to get them to work properly and fit correctly. I cannot eat with them in, even with fixodent. I cannot talk to my customers without them coming out. It's very embarrassing. It's been several months. I have done research and I should not be having these issues after 5 months! I have called to get my money back because he obviously can't fix them. They will not return my calls. I am very disappointed spending approx. $3500 out of pocket. Go elsewhere!! He obviously does not care since he already got his money!

Fantastic experience: I have gone multiple times for cleanings and had my tooth filled this morning. The staff is always incredibly friendly and Dr. Pohl is amazing. He was so kind and spent time speaking with me, despite being very busy. He fixed my tooth and was super fast and efficient. I am very grateful for him and his staff!

Fantastic experience: I have a HUGE fear of any dental work. Visiting Dr. Pohl’s office felt welcoming and everyone was very helpful in answering my questions. I have anxiety in general but they were able to provide me with Nitrous during my filling and have these exotic birds you can watch ☺️ Having no insurance at the time, they were able to help me with payments. The nurses and staff are so nice! I will be back!

Negative experience: The worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. For 2 weeks I've messages for someone to return my phone call. You never can get anyone on the phone anytime of day. Not recommending this business.

Recently had an emergency when my better half lost a tooth. Temporary installed and perfectly matched replacement all done in time to meet a travel deadline. A plus!

Fantastic experience: He simply does great work! …And he is easy to talk to about expectations and the process of care. I first went to Dr. Pohl when I was looking for a “different/bette” answer to an over calcification of my daughters front teeth when she was 13 years old. He had an answer that no other dentists in the area had. He made a promise about the process and how long the “repair”would last and his promise has exceeded my expectations.

She always greets me with a wonderful smile. She takes care of everything at the front. She also is very skilled. That shows that he really takes care of his staff for them to continue working there for years. When you walk into the office, it has a family vibe. That feeling is what helps me relax. I could never compliment enough to do everyone justice. Not only has Dr Pohl taken great care of me for years, he also has taken fantastic care of both of my children. The best part is that Doc Pohl is working with the Choice program to help veterans like myself get the dental care they need, and that's something that was really needed in this area. Positive experience: The only problem is no one ever answers the phone, it takes forever to get a call back, and the answering message is incredibly long. The doctor, assistant, and office staff are all very pleasant and easy to talk to. They are all very professional.
