He listens to your concerns and discusses treatment plans when appropriate. The hygienist does a great job also. I have been going to this practice for over 20 years and plan on continuing even though I am moving out of the area (1 hour away).

My parents constantly told me they were great and I needed to give them a chance. Finally went for a check up and teeth cleaning, and now I will be regularly getting my teeth cleaned there every 6 months.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was with Dr. Balis's associate, Dr. Glenn Huddleston. I have been looking for a dentist in the CV for 5 years. I sure am blessed to have found Dr. Huddleston. The office is very clean, professional, yet kind and warm. Very calming to be there. Dr. Huddleston is so kind, caring, gentle, and you do not feel rushed. I have 22 crowns that have been replaced several times, I have experience. He removed a crown to replace it, and I swear I did not feel any pain. I think it is because they did not rush the Q-Tip numbing process. So thankful to have found a great office and Dentist, need a few more crowns removed. I told him this was a first time for me no pain at all. He said, "I do my best", and he does : )

Fantastic experience: Dr. Balis is highly efficient, attentive, and competitively priced. Finding the driveway to his parking lot can be challenging but well worth the effort. The doctor and his team are professional and personable. This is the best general dental care team I’ve experienced since we moved to the Coachella Valley 12 years ago.

Negative experience: The dentist and the hygienists are enjoyable to work with. However, I found the office staff to be very rude and abrupt. I wasn't told that the hygienists were out of network even though the dentist I saw (Dr. H) was in the network.

Negative experience: I would've given zero stars but am unable to. I would like to say that the staff was great, no issues there. But the lack of transparency is disappointing. I understand, as a patient, we are responsible to make sure dentist is within network - which the dentist that saw me is. But the hygienist is billed under the doctor that is not, how am I supposed to know that!? I called and am left with invoice, no compromise and blame gets put on patient. Look carefully and ask questions or, you too, may end up with having to pay for your visit.

Negative experience: Dr. Balis does good work. But watch your statements closely. I had a lot of work done with him and he recommended 2 root canals that I opted not to do as I had no pain in those teeth. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and ended up just getting fillings in these 2 teeth. Several years later, Dr. Balis sent me a bill for the 2 root canals. I called them and explained that I was charged for 2 root canals that I did not get. They said I did, in fact, get 2 root canals and the bills are accurate. It has been over 5 years and still no problems with these 2 teeth. I have x-rays showing no root canals at all. Dr. Balis has now sent me to collections and this is affecting my credit.

Negative experience: Apparently this office has dropped my insurance (Met Life), and they failed to inform me. So now I have to pay for the X-rays of my broken tooth that they took on Monday, and find a new dentist

Positive experience: Would have loved to give 5 stars since the office staff, Dr. Huddleston and hygienist are all friendly professional and competent. My only small complaint is I was asked to change my appointment time which I accommodated but I was kept waiting nearly 30 minutes for the appointment. For next time I would appreciate not to be kept waiting as I work and would prefer not to take extra time away from work.

He checked out the gums and took one X-ray and decided on a cautious approach. I’m a long time fan of Dr. Huddelston. I never feel like he’s pushing treatment. My teeth are in better shape because of his and Trish’s care.
