Over the course of my life I have had a lot of negative experiences in the dentist chair. I am so very grateful to have found Dr. Benstock and his team. Positive experience: I would definitely recommend Dr. Benstock. He takes the time to explain what he's doing & why, the staff is very friendly, & Dr. Benstock calls personally, after hours, if you've had a procedure such as a crown, pulled tooth, etc. to make sure you're okay and to answer any questions. He also makes sure you feel no pain and will continue to administer meds as needed for your comfort.

Fantastic experience: Wow! What a day at the dentist. Dr Benstock found a rather ginormous cavity that masqueraded as a tiny one. No one would be able to guess which tooth it was due to the excellent skills of Dr Benstock. I also received a full crown and a temporary. My mouth came home happy. I love my new smile.

Negative experience: I would give this office 0 stars if I could. Dr benstock has an overly large ego. He claimed he could put veneers on my girlfriend’s front 4 teeth and close her gaps and that it would look great and an easy procedure. Turns out he was just looking to make a quick buck like a sleezy car salesmen It was absolutely everything but easy. After putting them on for the first time, there was a sizable hole at the gum line that benstock acted like was just totally normal and as an observer and generally someone who doesn’t care about my teeth but it didn’t look like professional work. They offered to send the teeth back to the lab to resize them. They put temporaries back on which had already fallen off once, it seemed they were never secure even with my girlfriend being very careful of her eating habits. Time went by and eventually it was time to put the newly sized veneers on. They looked as though they hadn’t been properly resized as from a side view they looked curved and from the front they still weren’t properly fitted on the two front teeth. These concerns were expressed, as they should. After some time benstock hid like a coward and had his staff inform my girlfriend that he was incapable of performing a very simple front top two teeth veneer placement bc he didn’t have a enough self dignity to tell his client he couldn’t perform something that is expected of a DDS license dentist. They basically told her to kick rocks and find a new dentist and that they couldn’t perform what she wanted, which was a simple sizing and application of veneers. They also said they didn’t want to send the veneers back to the lab as they’d no longer making money. Putting money above customer satisfaction. Embarrassing and very unprofessional. My mother has veneers from a different dentist in a different state and they look great and fit very well and they continued to work with her and the lab until they provided the results she wanted and it’s sad that benstock lacked the sympathy and motivation to perform a simple duty expected of him. Do not go to him he’s advertised himself as a cosmetic dentist and he is anything but that, he’s sticking to the minor leagues of general cleaning and dental care, he’s not built for the big leagues.

Fantastic experience: I have major problems with my teeth, now that I’ve found Dr Benstock I feel hopeful, I am in good hands. After a root Canal today never felt any sharp pain and received a phone call this evening from the doctor just to check and see how I was. Who does that? When I had an extraction by Dr. Benstock, he called that evening also highly recommend him. I also want to add, everyone in the office is helpful and great to deal with.

Negative experience: Although I had previously rated this five stars, it was somewhat under pressure. Also, it was the first visit I had there. Once he actually did some work it turned out to be a nightmare. I wound up leaving this practice and going back to my regular dentist. The dentist at Benstock talks way too much. I sat in the chair for 3 1/2 hours to get impression for my crown. The crown was titanium and anytime anything touched my tooth it would send me into a tailspin. it took me six months or more before he took that crown out and replaced with a normal one. My whole experience there was a total nightmare. I have not heard any good things about that dental office except for their front desk staff they are absolutely lovely.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Benstock is the best dentist in WesCo, I hate needles, but his prep in giving shots for numbing is so gentle you won't feel any pain with his technic. Covid Safe! His office is Covid Friendly, and his staff checks each patient before they can enter. His attention to detail on what he is doing is amazing, I have been going to him since he started in his first building in SebTown. He will talk over with you the best options for your issues, he won't do anything that's not necessary, he is up front and honest, that's hard to find these days. But it's the whole staff that makes this all happen they are a Amazing Team, I'm Lucky to have found Dr. BENSTOCK, his attention to detail and perfection is unrivaled in my book, his office is state of the art with all the bells and whistles. Negative experience: I was thoroughly unimpressed with this dentist. The office was very dated, and they don't seem to take much care with upgrades. The entire intake process was clunky and relied on manual forms with no way to submit the forms digitally, and yet they took the liberty of using digital services to spam me with requests for a review, which demonstrates that their priority is marketing, and not customer convenience. The cleaning was very rough, and my gums bled several times, which the hygienist just shook off as normal. My gums basically never bleed during a cleaning, and they haven't bled on a subsequent cleaning, which suggests that the hygienist just wasn't very good at her job. The worst part was when the dentist was doing his exam, and everything looked fine (I haven't had any dental issues in 12 years), then his eyes suddenly lit up excitedly and he informed me that I have gum recession, and he gave me a bill for several hundred dollars to address it. I recently got a second opinion, and the second dentist isn't concerned about the gum recession at all. I'd be very careful about taking advice from this dentist without seeking a second opinion. I definitely won't be back, but I've already found a dentist that I like a lot better.

Fantastic experience: Dr Benstock saved my tooth. I was given a pretty dire diagnosis by my regular dentist who told me one of my FRONT teeth would need to come out. I was absolutely not ok with this... So I was referred to Dr. Benstock by a friend and he gave me much better news--it was just a cavity and he could fill it! He was very kind and professional and he did a great job on it! It looks so much better and I'll certainly go back if I need more work done by someone trustworthy. His office staff are also very sweet and caring and they didn't judge me for my terrible dental anxiety. :)

Fantastic experience: Dr. Benstock is not only a wonderful dentist, he's a wonderful person. My son is special needs and was being very difficult when we visited. Dr. B was kind, patient, and knew how to handle a challenging situation. He is very good with people who have a phobia about needles and pain. Highly recommend Dr. Benstock! Staff could not have been nicer as well.

Fantastic experience: Dentist and staff are friendly and welcoming. Im a new patient but have some known problems. Dr Benstock discussed each with me and took time to explain situation with me. Staff has been great for setting up appts and getting Rx sent. They use a pharmacy really close for convenience (2 doors away) but will call into a pharmacy of your choice. So far i am satisfied with my treatment. No pain after treatment and he seemed thorough (taking xrays for confirmation). Parking is easy. Office is clean. Overall i would recommend this dentist/practice.

Provided education on what to expect with crowns, and procedures with other dentists too. Also, culturally responsive and sensitive as well. Fantastic experience: I do not have a good (or even a reasonably good) track record with dentists. I have learned that over the course of much dental work. So imagine my surprise today when a tooth extraction was so close to painless that I couldn't believe it was finished when Dr. Benstock told me he was done!! I was in shock. And still am. I am so grateful to have found him that I am saying 'thank you' to the universe at every turn. Really. So go see this guy... you won't be sorry!!
