Fantastic experience: I had a temporary crown that fell out and needed to be re-cemented. I was unable to reach my dentist and upon calling woodcliff family dental, they fit me in later that day. Thank you to Dr. Perlmutter and the kind staff for seeing me so quickly and relieving me of this issue. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The attention to detail, caring mannerisms, and technical expertise is what prompts me to return to Dr. Perlmutter’s practice. This facility boasts new equipment infused with various calming practices to ensure patient comfort as much as possible. These practices include options like: noise cancelling head phones, TV set to your preferred channel, weighted blanket, non-weighted blanket, scented warm cloth to clean your hands and face, sunglasses for eye protection, etc. Having been a regular to various dental practices, this has been the best practice I’ve ever been to hands down.

My kids get upset if one of them has an appointment and the other doesn’t because they both want to see “Dr. Seth.” He makes what can be a rough doctor appointment one that is not just pleasant but fun!

Fantastic experience: I was in need of a new dentist and decided to try Dr. Perlmutter after reading the positive reviews. I liked him so much that my husband and daughter followed suit and also made appointments. He and his staff are top notch dental professionals, but they are also just very nice humans. When my husband was recently in the hospital unexpectedly, I had to cancel my appointment with Dr. Perlmutter. The office sent me an email wishing my husband a speedy recovery and had a David’s Cookies gift delivered when he was released a few days later. It made his day. I cannot imagine very many dentists going the extra mile like that. So happy we chose this practice.

At my most recent visit I was seen by Katherine the new hygienist and she gave me the most impeccable cleaning. She’s a great addition to the Woodcliff Family! Adding to my earlier review since I love the feeling of fresh clean teeth after visiting Woodcliff Family dental. My appointment was for 320. I was in the chair at 3:20 and out 30 minutes later no waiting around.

Fantastic experience: This week my son (17months) and I had our first visit. I wanted a family dentist and heard good things. My previous dentist was very dirty and often had to waits hours past my appt time. We had a great experience at Wood Cliff Family Dental. They were very patient with my son and did everything to make the experience enjoyable for him. For myself, they thoroughly explained everything and i was in and out within 45 mins, happy to find a new dentist for my family!

The clinic is clean, modern and it actually feels more like a spa than a dental clinic. The experience is tailored to each patient, you can choose to watch some netflix while you lay comfortably down with a weighted blanked and noise canceling headphones. The Dr. Always explains very well each step of what he is doing and is SUPER gentle. Who would guess you can actually enjoy and relax at the dentist’s chair? Well you can and that is the magic Dr. Perlmutter and his team provides

Negative experience: While the staff is good, and on a first visit everything seems great, at the end of the day I am NOT a fan. After being sent away due to “high blood pressure” while trying to complete a filling, I needed to show up to the office to be refunded. Who knows what they’re doing with the insurance company. My significant other discussed with the doctor their concerns and issues with anxiety, which he said he is willing and able to deal with, however what we saw in the office was the exact opposite. He had a “bad vibe” and spent “a long time” talking to her in advance, due to that, he refused to perform the service, and find dental care elsewhere. I’m absolutely floored by the lack of professionalism and bedside manner. I can’t stress enough that the issue here is the doctor, and perhaps his receptionist, meanwhile the hygienists seem to all be doing their best. Typically a good doctor is dragged down by a mediocre staff, meanwhile Woodcliff family dental is the exact opposite.

Negative experience: Woodcliff Lake Family Dental has now taken 2 full work days from myself and my husband. Both appointments scheduled and canceled IN the chair. Seemingly they have a certain clientele they wish to work with. One was due to “high bp” on a bp machine that wasn’t fitting, my husband is very muscular and the cuff wasn’t fitting properly (went immediatly to the doctor to confirm and no problem) we called to explain and they want a full cardiologist work up , for a filling. One was due to addressing dental anxiety in chair and the dentist simply wasn’t able to understand that and canceled the appointment while I was in the chair with zero explaination except he had “a bad feeling.” When we asked for the money back for the initial visit that didn’t have services rendered (they charge before appointment) they didn’t credit it. When we went to the second appointment and asked again for the credit (substantial amount of money) suddenly the tone shifted and he was very rude. We lost 2 work days because this guy thinks because he has weighted blankets he’s an “anxiety professional”. Horrible bedside manner when it actually matters. When we asked what specifically the issue was “you were upset when you got here” oh…okay. Thanks for knowing my day before I arrived and having zero understanding. They spend more time putting cute letter boards together than actually being medical professionals. Oh and never try to go on any number of days that he’s off which is MANY

Fantastic experience: I visited yesterday the Woodcliff Family Dental. This is the first time in my life that I actually enjoyed going to the dentist... It is obvious that someone very, very capable designed the Customer Experience (CX) from A to Z in a very attentive way, with great success. Do yourself a favor and move over to Woodcliff. I was sure it is part of a larger chain of locations, and was surprised that it is a single boutique location. Their attention to detail resulted in a supreme experience. Real pleasure. Weird to say that on a dental office, but it is a reality. Good job guys!

Fantastic experience: I wish I could put more than 5 stars. I'm personally not afraid of going to the dentist but I know a lot of people are. Those people should go to Woodcliff Family Dental. I went there for the first time yesterday and they went so above and beyond to make me feel comfortable that I genuinely walked out wanting an excuse to go back. When I first walked in, apart from the typical medical form, I was given a form asking for my personal preferences in regards to whether I wanted a freshly cleaned and heated blanket, a weighted blanket, or no blanket. I was asked about whether I wanted to watch something on the TV in the room (they had Netflix, Nature videos, or I could choose to have the TV off). I was also given a choice of the flavor of toothpaste they would use to clean my teeth at the end and the scent of the warm towel they would give me at the end. I was very pleasantly surprised. To add to it, when I got into the room I was surprised to see that the TV they had mentioned was actually on the ceiling above where I sat, so when I was laid back I could watch. I'd give this six stars if I could.

Positive experience: Woodcliff Family Dental provides a 7 star service and makes the customers feel precious. The little coffee corner, their warm blankets that are provided during dental work, the beautiful office are just some of the perks. Dr. Perlmutter is a family man who is very personable and a good dentist. Since I started going to him, my overall dental health has improved, thanks not just to the Dr., but also their outstanding administration who do not let me forget my appointments and rescheduling, and who send back any refunds once they reconcile their accounts.

Fantastic experience: It is always a wonderful experience to visit Dr. Perlmutter and he is very welcoming. They are very careful and cautious to address covid19 situation. The rooms are well equipped with television with netflix so that you do not get bored. Updating the review after the visit for my 3 years old daughter. I will highly recommend Dr. Perlmutter for pediatric dental visit as well . We were afraid how our daughter was going to react to the dental appointment as she in general did not like her regular medical checkups. I liked the way Dr. Perlmutter first made her comfortable with toys, gifts, little chichat and then cleaned her teeth. She enjoyed the visit and she became a fan of Dr. Perlmutter.

I had asked to keep me in mind for something earlier and they called me to offer me an earlier appt when one opened. Fantastic experience: Woodcliff Family Dental has been by far one of the best in dental or patient comfort needs. Ever experience has been pleasant where I leave feeling at no point they could have done better. The only work I've had since was basic cleaning, x-rays, and fillings where I have no complaints on any of that. One of my fillings could have used a crown, which the doctor recommended, but he provided alternatives and didn't push or reject my decision. He takes the time to talk to you and explain everything so that you make a choice you feel comfortable with. Overall, I would recommend them to others, because they don't just do dental, but look for ways to may your experience comfortable and as crazy as it sounds enjoyable as well as research new techniques and concepts within the field. They don't strive to ordinary and age out over time.
