Fantastic experience: Dr Gary Markovitz has been my dentist for many years and after neglecting my mouth for too long, he has helped me regain good gum health. He is smart, patient and caring. Today I had my 6 Month cleaning w Alisha. She was excellent as well! All the staff here are wonderful. The joke is I am actually so afraid that I really hate the dentist. But they all help me through it.

Fantastic experience: While “I can’t wait to return” to the Dentist would be an irresistibly glib remark, in this instance, however, it would not be not far from the truth. It’s not an exaggeration to say that Dr. Teich and his team strive to offer their patients a stellar experience. My initial contact with Dr Teich was the result of a cracked molar that was clearly missed by my previous dentist. Using visuals, Dr Teich indicated how a crown application would solve my problem. The process and the cost were explained in a straightforward and relaxed setting. I felt no pressure to get it done. After a couple of visits, the crown was applied. I can honestly say that from the get-go the crown felt as natural as the molar it was applied to. There was no talk of “getting use to it”. Dr Teich clearly takes great pride in his work. In fact, the crown fit so well I’d have to concede that he’s a bit of an artist as well. Members of his team appear to share the same work ethic. As a long standing client, my wait times are consistently minimal, on-site parking is always available, and the office is well organized and spotless. If your looking for a mensch who’s also a well-qualified, experienced dentist, look no further.

Fantastic experience: If I could give Westchester Dental Group more than 5 stars, I absolutely would — and I say that as someone who has visited plenty of dental offices over the years. From the moment I walked in, the front office team made me feel genuinely welcome. It wasn't the usual transactional check-in experience; it was warm, friendly, and immediately set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional visit. I was quickly met by Kim, my dental hygienist, who I can only describe as a true superstar. She did a fantastic job with my cleaning while somehow also making me feel completely relaxed and at ease — which, if you know me, is no small feat at a dentist's office! What really set her apart was how much she genuinely cared. She took the time to give me personalized tips on improving my oral hygiene and even shared some advice on getting whiter teeth. On top of that, we had such a great conversation about life, travels, and everything in between — it made the time fly by and I truly forgot I was even at the dentist! And just when I thought the visit couldn't get any more memorable, she sent me off with a little Post-it note with a golden star on it. I'm not ashamed to admit it's now on my fridge. Kim, you're something else! And of course, a huge shoutout to Dr. Iommazzo, who has made every single visit as comfortable and enjoyable as a dental appointment can possibly be. On my first visit, I remember how often she checked in to make sure I was pain-free throughout, all while educating me through every step of the process. And on my second visit, even after Kim had already done her thorough assessment, Dr. Iommazzo still took the time to double check everything herself. That really says it all about this practice — they genuinely care. She is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and just an all-around wonderful provider, and I always leave feeling informed and truly looked after. Westchester Dental Group has a truly exceptional team, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment — you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: I was welcomed like an old friend on arrival at the office and was taken to the dental hygienist, Jessel, on time. I am an 89 year old male who has had a gagging issue during the X-ray procedure since I was a kid. Jessel treated me with kindness, patience and respect and used some techniques I’ve never seen before. The result was that I got through the process with a minimum of discomfort and, for the first time in 89 years, the dentist did not have to take the X-rays himself. Jessel executed the process herself flawlessly. Dr. Gary Markovits came in to the room when Jessel finished her work and took care of the issues she had professionally defined for him. He was caring, professional and put me even more at ease than Jessel had done. This office is A1 in my book.

Fantastic experience: As usual I had a great experience at Westchester Dental Group. Dr. Teich saw me on an emergency basis after I cracked a crown and he was able to repair it quickly. His receptionists and assistants are both professional and efficient.

Fantastic experience: I have known and been treated by Dr Markovits for decades. I have had many dentists over the years. None holds a candle to his expertise, his care and his medical knowledge. He is surrounded by an exemplary staff...to say nothing of one of his hygienists, Michelle. I have never had my teeth cleaned as well and with as little discomfort as by the talented Michelle.

Fantastic experience: Today I saw Dr. Shannon Abel for the first time and I have to say she was the most personable, down to earth, gentle, caring dentist that I have seen in a long time other than my regular dentist Dr. Gary Markovitz. Dr. Markovitz has been my dentist for 22 years and I absolutely love him but it's great to know that Dr. Abel is equally amazing and now I am comfortable seeing her when Dr. Markovitz is not available. Also, Lori, the assistant is wonderful as are the dental techs and hygienists! I am not a fan of the dentist at all but these guys make it actually comfortable!

In the past, I had some bad dentists who just wanted to keep me coming back for more and more work. My wife found his practice and Dr. Teich quickly corrected my gum and teeth issues and after that it was yearly cleanings and crowns as needed. My gums and teeth are in great shape for my age and have no issues. His office staff are friendly and professional and never had any billing issues. The other dentists that are part of the practice are also the best in Westchester and always feel like I'm in good hands. One important thing is Dr. Teich is very skilled at his job and will never try to push you to do any unnecessary dental work. He's honest. Beautiful office and modern equipment makes for a relaxing environment.
