Finally after some run around with other dentists, I finally found Caring Family Dental! They made me an appointment within two days and called me in a day early when an appointment someone else had canceled. They got the tooth out and were just so amazingly compassionate about my anxiety and situation. I have bad teeth that are honestly embarrassing and everyone in that office made me feel like it wasn’t too late to fix it. They even helped me get on track for proper care AND dental insurance before I left. I 100% plan to make Caring Family Dental my dentist office and put to use everything they shared with me today to finally put my dental hardships at ease this year. Truly, this was an amazing experience end to end 10/10! Beyond grateful.

Fantastic experience: Great first visit with Dr. Emily! Her dental hygienist did a thorough job of cleaning my teeth and Dr. Emily reviewed my x-ray records and asked about any sensitive teeth or areas.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit as the practice transitioned from Dr Martin to Dr Markwood. It was for a six-month checkup and cleaning. Beth, the hygienist, was very thorough in all aspects of the treatment from x-rays to gum check to cleaning. She also had a friendly, caring yet professional demeanor throughout. Highly recommend. Had a good interaction with Dr Markwood as well, but since I didn’t need additional treatment, I didn’t experience her full level of expertise.

Negative experience: Dec 24: Great place and staff. We enjoyed our dental exam and cleaning here today. Hygienist Beth was amazingly detailed with Caveatron and scaler. Dr Markwood seemed sincere and fair in her evaluation. We will definitely return in 6 months. UPDATE, Apr 25: We scheduled 2 cleaning appointments 6 months in advance for this morning, specifically with Beth, an excellent hygienist. Yet, just 20 min prior to the appt, we Tera called us to cancel, citing the hygienist’s unavailability. Learning this while en route was highly inconvenient, especially since the next available appt is in July, 3 mo later. This disrupts our care schedule, which aligns with biannual insurance coverage, and conflicts with our summer plans. This follows a previous visit that involved unexpected charges, further impacting our trust. We suggest the office consider reserving occasional contingency slots to accommodate unforeseen absences—a prudent risk management strategy. As it stands, the experience suggests either poor planning or a potential reallocation of our appt slots to others. While we recognize the situation could have been worse (e.g., cancellation upon arrival), we’ve decided to explore alternative providers. We hope this feedback is helpful and supports improvements to your scheduling and patient communication processes.
