Fantastic experience: Kind and efficient care from the doc, techs, and support staff. I’ve been going there for years!

Negative experience: Experience has always been horrible since the new team. Employees are rude and have no customer support. Misses Mr Gordon and will never go back

Negative experience: Previous owners were great. Now it feels like they're trying to gouge you, and the service is highly unprofessional. Will be going elsewhere.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. I was told I had a cavity and needed further work, including a crown, but a second dentist later examined the tooth, took images, and found no cavity or problem. I also had a filling done here, and afterward my bite was messed up. Too much tooth structure was removed on the right side, and now I feel almost no bite contact on that side at all. Instead of fixing the issue, I was pushed toward getting a crown. After this treatment, I also developed an abscess, which made the whole situation even more distressing. I found the work poor and the communication unprofessional. I do not recommend Dr. Ayad Ahmed.

Negative experience: My family and I had been going here my entire life since I was a child, longtime patients of the Freeds. Never had any issues. Within the past few years of their new ownership I have experienced the worst costumer service of my life. The female receptionist is consistently rude and unprofessional. She is argumentative and ill-mannered, beyond unhelpful. Because of this my entire family has left this practice. Even now at my new practice I am still having to deal with this as she refused to release my records to them and was completely disagreeable to them on the phone. I’ve never been compelled to write a review until now. So sad that this is the person representing Newmarket.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ahmed is the GOAT. Staff up front and dental assistants are so friendly. I'm so glad I found this place.

Negative experience: This place is so different under its new ownership. In our family 3 of us have left the practice because it's impossible to schedule with them. They canceled my cleaning twice and then wanted to reschedule 4 months out! They don't keep any slots open for flexibility including when they are the one canceling. Their office staff is not friendly or apologetic about it either. We miss the Freeds.

Fantastic experience: Clean facility, friendly staff and hygienists. Always efficient; I went two separate times for two different fillings, and was out within 30-45 mins for each one. They’ve healed well and are probably the best fillings I’ve ever had. Ayad also suggested that I try a filling before resorting to something more invasive such as a crown to fix a corroded filling from a previous dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Newmarket Dentistry! This past weekend a veneer fell off of my lower front tooth. Since I spend all my time on Zoom, this was especially problematic. I called on Monday afternoon and spoke with Naomi who immediately understood the difficulty of my situation. She went out of her way to get me in the next day. I saw Gordon Freed who sandblasted my tooth, cleaned up the veneer, and re-cemented it perfectly. He was warm, friendly, welcoming, and professional. I left with my smile restored and my professional appearance intact -- and very grateful for the wonderful treatment I received!
