Negative experience: I had a great in-office experience here with my two young daughters. My issue is that, upon Check-in, I was informed that I needed to pay up-front as I was out-of-network with my Insurance. That wasn’t how it had appeared to me when I scheduled. I double-checked with the sweet employee, and she Assured Me that I would receive a check from Insurance reimbursement check after they filed the claim on my behalf. I received one third of the amount I had paid. They refused to issue a partial refund of the nearly $1,000 I paid, even though they had led me to trust that I would get it all back. Very disappointing. Lesson learned. Don’t go here unless you know it’s in network.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Boren and his team were amazing. Our 7 yr old had only been to the dentist 1 time prior to seeing Dr. Boren. He and his staff took all the apprehension from my son. He actually asked when he could come back. Great job, A+!

Fantastic experience: First appointment here for my son today. He has been dreading his next dentist appointment after his last appointment in May at another dentist office, so we had put it off for a few months. I actually had him an appointment set at another place today and after coming across dentistry for children I called to cancel the other appointment then called here & was able to get him in same day. Honestly just the look on his face when we walked in and he saw how cool it looked was more than worth the drive from Henderson to Tyler. He could not believe it was really the dentist building After the fact of having the coolest waiting room ever, all the staff members from the front desk to everyone in the back even the lady that checked us out were all so kind to myself and my son. He is a little chatter box and they just let him talk away lol He also received two tokens to get a prize on the way out for doing a good job. He already can’t wait for his next appointment. Definitely recommend.

I love that theres a playground for my kids to burn some energy off before their appointment it really helps them to listen better to the dentist! I also love the treasure chest idea, my son thoroughly enjoyed his visit!!

Fantastic experience: I LOVE this place! We have had several visits in the past month as new patients - the staff is very kind and helpful at explaining how to make the most out of the experience. They offered assistance regarding insurance and referrals for specialists. They took great care of my son! Dr. Boren & Dr. Truong are very professional and thorough. I appreciate all of the support and guidance that I’ve received. They have a huge playground area in the waiting room and you get a prize with each visit - my son always looks forward to his visits. They provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. 5/5 stars! I definitely recommend this place 1000000x more than the last 2 dentists offices we have been to.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Boren and all of his associates and staff are outstanding. In addition to our own kids, we have foster children. We have been coming here for around 20 years at this point. The fosters are often afraid, but quickly settle in because of the staff's relaxed and friendly approach. We have had no issues with Medicaid, as they work seamlessly to provide what our kiddos need.

Negative experience: Poor patient care, lack of communication ,Never allow Culbersonson R Boren treat you children very rude. Waited over an hour for Consolation appointment Ask the representative at the front desk is how long would it take for the consult was told I could leave ,she would call to schedule my child’s appointment over the phone. A month later, I emailed them with paperwork to be filled out for my child’s childcare only for Dr. Borden to put some BS on my child’s paperwork

Negative experience: I’ve been bringing my kids to this dental office for over 8 years, and sadly the quality of service—especially from the front office staff—has gone way downhill over the past year. I’m constantly being quoted different prices for the same scheduled services. I’ve had to call my **insurance myself** just to get accurate estimates. Even after paying in full at the time of the visit, they’ve tried to tell me I still owe more money. It’s confusing, frustrating, and completely unprofessional. Appointments are another issue. I’ve watched them take patients with later appointments ahead of others who’ve been waiting. It feels chaotic and disorganized. To top it off, I called the **office manager** last week to get clarification on a charge—never got a call back. For a family that’s been loyal to this practice for nearly a decade, this level of customer service is incredibly disappointing. I’m sad to say we’ll be looking for a new dentist.

Negative experience: The dentist will tell you, your child can only eat grilled meat and veggies. Dessert should only be fruit that ends in berries. Can only drink water. Not even sports drinks unless you want sugar free stuff ( no cavities, but cancer instead). When honestly majority of teeth issues are genetics. Also, don't even make an appointment for 2pm. They tell you to arrive 15 mins early but keep doors locked for lunch until 2pm. Earliest appointment they should be allowed to make is 2:15.

Fantastic experience: Both of my children had a dental appointment yesterday as new patients here. My autistic son seemed a lot more relaxed than I’ve seen him previously. It was a more “kid friendly” dentist so they were very accommodating. The dentist met my child where they were and didn’t push too hard. My other child has anxiety when it comes to the dentist yet, after this visit, they are also excited to return!

Fantastic experience: Just love Denistry for Children. My oldest was a patient for years, and he agreed out. Dr Boren, and Dr Ming are the best. Now my baby is a patient. He started coming since he was 6 months old.

Positive experience: We were scheduled for 9/11 they overbooked and rescheduled us for 9/24 told me my 5 year old couldn't have anything to eat or drink after 11pm, scheduled him for 11:30am and didn't start surgery until 1:30pm. We then found out they scheduled an autistic 5 year old LAST for the day who always has a cup close by. Aside from that they were kind and did take care of our son while he was in surgery.

Fantastic experience: The staff is the absolute best bar none, from the front desk staff to Dentists. Amazing experience each and every time. They always make my daughter feel at ease.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter there when she was 3 years old. She is now 23 and bringing her 3yr. old son to you. What more can I say about your professionalism.

Negative experience: The people in the back are great and work great with the kids, but the people in the front at the front desk do not know what they’re doing. Don’t even have my right number and we’ve been going there since my daughter was six months. Old number hasn’t changed and my daughter is almost 7. Somethings always wrong with the insurance even though my insurance is paid. I don’t know. Just always something. I’ll probably be switching soon.

Positive experience: The front office staff and majority of the back end staff is nice and friendly. There was a dental hygienist that was kind of rude. She didn't smile or engage with the parents. My youngest child’s visit was rescheduled because she skipped over him. He’s 2 so he was out playing but i stayed in the back and they had his paperwork. So if she didn’t see him; she could’ve looked at his paperwork and asked for him. I think working with kids it’s good to have a positive attitude and customer service skills. She may have been having a bad day but that should be left at the door.

Negative experience: Frustrating experience with Dr and office staff. The only thing I thought was good was the hygienist. There is one either young Dr or training to be a doctor that is fantastic and wonderful to work with. I will be sad our son can’t work with him anymore. But the lack of communication, working with me to get my kids teeth fixed and the Dr being condescending to me was enough to make me need to go elsewhere. You would think this office staff would want to get back to me and make sure all was good so we could continue much needed care. However each time I’ve called to try and get things verified so we could move forward I was just told that’s someone else department and they will get back to you. Well don’t bother. We are going elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist called us 2 weeks before our original appointment because a spot opened up. We were able to get in sooner. Amazing! Everyone is awesome. They kept my little calm; from the front to the back as well as explained the process thoroughly. My little was treated as if he was one of there own. You can tell when someone loves there job. They care! By far the best dentistry I've ever seen.
