Fantastic experience: Protodental was a fantastic dental experience. I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but at ProtoDental they make it so easy from the moment you walk through the front door you are greeted with a smile. The dental hygienist and Dentist (I saw Andrew), were friendly and very transparent about everything. Nothing felt rushed, they explained everything to me, so I felt like part of the discussion. After searching for a while for a great dentist office, I finally found one!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Proto and his staff are exceptional. Not only are their professionalism and skill number one in the field, they are hands down, the friendliest and most organized office around. I can say a million positive comments above everyone there. Most important to share though, is my most recent experience with Dr. Proto. For over 6 months I was being treated by another dentist for an issue with a tooth that quickly exacerbated. It escalated to severe facial pain on the whole left side of my face, extreme sensitivity to heat/cold/wind etc,…. I ended up in the ER…..the worst medical experience of my life. This other dentist misdiagnosed me with a chronic pain condition called trigeminal neuralgia. This led to numerous tests, appointments with a neurologist, mounting medical bills (still paying off debt), medications, the need to pull a tooth, etc. My pain ended up being mostly managed by medication, however there was one symptom that was not improving (inflamed roof of my mouth) and I finally decided to seek a second opinion with Dr. Proto. Given the details of my condition, he offered to see me immediately in his office, after hours, to conduct a CT scan, and identified a severe infection in the target tooth that if had gone on any longer would’ve likely perforated my sinus and possibly led to several other medical issues. The scan obviously should’ve been done months ago. Dr. Proto immediately put me on the right track regarding treatment and I’m now pain-free and med-free for months. I will never trust anyone else again with my dental needs. So grateful for him and everyone at the office.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Proto displays academic excellence, professionalism, a great bedside manner and a very caring demeanor. His office staff have always been courteous, pleasant and helpful. I have been a patient of his for many years now and despite the fact that I have moved outside New York, I still travel back for any dental problems. I have Metastatic breast cancer and my teeth have been deteriorating. My daughter found Proto Dental and everyone in Babylon had nothing but good things to say. From the first day went I could not believe the difference in care. New exrays great hygienist and Doctor Andrew is excellent. Everytime I go Dr. Andrew goes over everything with me and explains thing so I can understand exactly what he is doing & together we came up with a plan good for me. I never feel pain. He is so gentle. I use to dred going to a dentist but no more. Every is just so nice and I don't feel like it's a get'em in get'em out assembly line. Marie my hygienist is wonderful and makes my cleanings actually feel delightful. (Like i just lost 5lbs lol) Dr.Proto is SOO gentle that I never even feel the injection!! Most importantly I trust them completely. I have been a faithful patient for 10yrs already. You only get one set of teeth so its VIP you go to see the BEST! I absolutely recommend this practice to everyone I know! You will not be disappointed and always leave satisfied with a smile on your face.

Fantastic experience: I moved and I needed to find a new dentist. I had been going to my previous dentist for 25 years. It was like going from the dark ages to modern times!! The technology being used at ProtoDental is light years ahead of what my dentist was using. Add to that a terrific friendly staff (and dentists!!). If you are looking for a new dentist you have nothing to lose. Likewise, if you have been with the same dentist for years and you have not see an upgrade in the tools and process they use, think about making a change!!
