Fantastic experience: I cracked one of my back molars so I called Cross Street Dentistry to make an appointment, the got me in the next morning. After seeing Dr Hong he told me I would need a crown. Made me an appointment to have it done and it feels great! I would highly recommend Cross Street Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: What started off as an absolutely horrible day was made better by the excellent care and service I received at Cross Street Family Denistry. I am so glad when I did the search for an emergency dentist in Peabody, this practice was first on the list and based on my experience, that's exactly where it should be. Update: I have my permanent new tooth y'all! Dr. Hong and the rest of the team at Cross Street provided superb care. I am extremely pleased with the entire process. My new crown was crafted from scratch in the office. It was such a good experience. So much so I made it a family affair---took my twelve year old daughter and she also gave them a thumbs up (and that's not easy to get from her...TRUST me ;-) ). So if you are looking for an excellent dental experience in the North Shore area with a team who knows their craft and remembers the importance of great customer service, I would highly recommend Cross Street.

Fantastic experience: I’m posting this For my husband, Roger, who had an appointment there today to deal with an emergency… They took him right Away. The office manager was incredibly accommodating and kind asking if there was anything my husband needed and all with kindness and a smile Chantal, the Knowledgeable dental assistant that took x-rays and Made sure my husband was comfortable during the whole ordeal With a smile and fantastic attitude! Dr. Hong Explained How he planned to handle the issues with my husband in great detail With great care telling him what the best option would be for his needs. Fantastic experience: Very nice office personnel, very relaxed atmosphere, got a great cleaning, they listened to me and I will be going back for a crown and scheduled my next cleaning. Last place I tried to get a cleaning, they looked at my X-rays and took me to the office managers office to discuss payment, never got a cleaning, they were more interested in cleaning me out of $$. Would recommend Cross Street gladly. No anxiety.

Negative experience: I am so disappointed with my dental work :( multiple attempts to “fix” the issue with my crown that was placed here and it’s only gotten worse

Once a complex case requires a referral to outside specialists, those subsequent treatments and outcomes are outside of our practice's control. Sorry to hear that you are feeling disappointed. Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience at this dental office. The staff was welcoming, the space was clean, and everything felt very organized and professional from start to finish. I especially want to highlight that Claudia (the dental hygienist) was amazing. She made me feel completely comfortable, explained everything she was doing, and was very gentle throughout the cleaning. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. Fantastic experience: This is Marc Ring! My appt. was excellent, taken on time, professionally treated, and everyone I came into contact with was equally professional and courteous. It is rare to find a group that smiles at you on the way in and the way out, and spends some time speaking with you. Also, just an FYI for anyone needing a a C-PAP or an oral device for snoring. Dr. Hong made one for me about 2 yrs ago, and the device is fantastic, also, the price was far below any other office that I contacted, BY A LOT!! I rarely wake my wife due to snoring, any more. The maintenance of the device is rinse with water, and maybe once a week use Polident for a 3 minute cleaning. The best part is that this office uses computer imaging to make the device, so there is no molds to be made, you only wait a week to 10 days for the device to arrive, and then Dr. Hong explains the way to use it correctly, and how to adjust it, if necessary. All in all, this is a win for everyone involved, and, again, the cost is minimal compared to other offices that deal in this device. I had one quote for $5600.00, and another for $4950.00, and the travel was 45 minutes from home, and I know they use molds, not computers. I would recommend this device to anyone, and for a bonus, you can also bring it in when you see Dr. Hong, and they will professionally clean the device while you are with the dentist or hygienist. I had a different device years ago[7-8], and I was lucky if it worked 30% of the time. This device works 85-90%. Again, a win all around.

Fantastic experience: I have been to this dentist before, my initial dentist could not do a crown. They could only do fillings and extractions. First time experience at Cross st Family Dentistry was in 2023 and they were amazing! Very clean, friendly atmosphere. I decided to switch dentists even though it’s a further drive. It’s worth the drive. It is very hard to find a nice dentist office you are able to trust to have your best interest at heart.

Fantastic experience: I have severe dental anxiety. I have had it for years. I was put at ease immediately by the scheduler, hygienist and then the dentist. I had wanted a new crown for a front tooth for over twenty years, but that experience was horrible so I never had it done until today. The hygienist and dentist work well together and project extreme confidence and that put me at ease. Their practice has the most current equipment too. I would highly recommend this dental office. Very, very happy with the construction of my new tooth.

Fantastic experience: Dr Inhwan Hong is such a wonderful caring and skilled dentist. He does excellent work at all times and you feel so comfortable while he’s working while he’s working on your tooth or teeth. Most of all you feel no pain and he’s always make sure you’re comfortable while sitting in his chair. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Cross St Family Dentistry for almost 2 years now. I am really impressed with the service and care that I've gotten. First, they accept a wide range of insurances -- which many dental offices do not. The office space is neat, nicely designed, and well taken care of. The staff have been super responsive to my phone call and email questions. The customer service has been great - listening and treating questions with respect. Dr. Hong has gone out of his way to help me with an issue with my retainer after an implant. I'm a loyal customer!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Cross St Family Dentistry for a little over 6 months. I have had a nightmare with one of my crowns that needed to be replaced in less than a year (Dr.Hong did not originally place this crown). I have never been to a dentist in my 27 years in which I’ve so cared for and respected. They are very inexpensive and compassionate from the front of the house to the back. I am very proud to say I go here. Dr. Hong is doing everything in his power to ensure I don’t have any further issues with this crown and I truly wish I came here to begin with.

Negative experience: I originally really liked this practice when I was ignorant to the dental world and dental insurance/prior authorizations… that changed after working for a high end dental practice and learning the industry… I was first told they didn’t accept my insurance but would take my sons due to his age… while I was there at one point for my sons appointment maybe a year later, the office manager who is very nice inquired about my dental cleanings and established care and looked beyond puzzled when I told her I was informed they didn’t take my insurance. She set me up with an appointment (by that time I had lost a year’s worth of care by initially being told they wouldn’t accept my insurance) and I established care. The doctor had originally told me he would perform a procedure for me if I was having trouble finding a place that took my insurance, which I was, then apparently changed his mind and told me he had to refer me out bc he “didn’t have the proper tools in the office” when I went there in tears due to the pain I was experiencing. My job performed the same procedure in about 20 mins and had zero explanation of why i would need to be referred out. The main reason for this review is the neglect with my son. I requested his recent X-rays be sent to my email so I could establish care at my job. Since 2020(ish) they’ve claimed he had no cavities and hung his picture for multiple years in the “no cavity club” wall. WELL after examining him, his new doctor found FIVE cavities.. two that were worse than the others, so she requested to see his recent X-ray from this office 05/2024 - they only sent two bitewings over even though I requested FMX (not sure if that was ever even done) and thru the two BWs from cross street dentistry, she could see two visible cavities that they completely either overlooked or neglected to inform me about, not sure which. My son had two fillings done today and still has to go back for three more! That is SO BEYOND unacceptable and disappointing… these are his ADULT TEETH they were neglecting. When I inquired with the practice of why they never informed me about these cavities , they just stopped answering. We will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: I'm a very anxious person with the dentist always has been. Today I got 4 teeth extracted. The doctor was caring made sure I was in no pain told me breath and the assistant was great wiped my tears. Between the both of them I felt cared about with my anxiety it was good visit!

Negative experience: Secretaries and hygienists are great. Dental situation didnt work out well. Novicaine felt like a hot lighting across my face/cheek/jaw. Never had that reaction before. Had trigeminal neuralgia a few months after the procedure. Had to get a 2nd opinion from a specialty facial pain dentist. Dentist here also suggested I had 8 additional cavities suddenly on top of this procedure......but I have no symptoms of cavity and the 2nd opinion dentist says nothing is there. I've actually gotten multiple opinions on these supposed several cavities needing to be filled at this point- they all agreed there isnt anything there to be filled.
