Dentistry of Olde Towne

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sluder and his staff have been absolutely wonderful to a me as a patient who has extreme anxiety about going to the dentist. The front desk and assistants are exceedingly patient, kind and understanding. This is the first dental office I have ever been to that has not only effectively completed dental work but has also helped relieve my anxiety. I'm very happy to have found them.

From the excellent accommodations I received upon calling the office with a dental emergency to the warm welcome and caring staff that is at the front desk. Dr Sluder was both compassionate, professional and very thorough! I trusted his guidance immediately. Heidi who cleaned my teeth also was top notch and did an excellent and thorough cleaning and soft tissue exam! Even though this year I have crap Medicare coverage and I don’t get dental coverage. I pay out of pocket so that I can continue to go to this particular dentist. It is their staff and it’s Dr. Emily that I love so much. They don’t talk down to me and they treat me with respect. At 80 I’m blessed to still have good teeth and because of the good dentistry that I receive at Olde Town I hope to keep them.

Fantastic experience: If it’s possible to say having a crown replacement was a really great experience, that’s what I had. I’m a typically high anxiety dental patient when it comes to the drill but this experience was perfect! Beautiful birds at the window feeder, people enjoying the weather outside, good variety of music playing and a shout out to little Ivy who was an inspiration to me. If she could be brave so could I. Dr. Sluder and Terri read my file perfectly and worked in unison to have me out of there with my temporary crown not only in record time but without pain. Thank you!

The front office staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Dr. Chris is very kind and extremely attentive, great bed side manner. My hygienist Shanda was very patient and diligently cleaned my teeth that’s stained from Chlorhexidine oral rinse. Going above and beyond my expectations. I have my clean teeth back now. Overall I greatly appreciate their professionalism, dedication and commitment to help their patients to have a great oral health and a beautiful smile.

I was worried about not being able to be seen for months, but I had an appointment scheduled three months from now and then the waitlist process was so easy that I was able to get an appointment within a week. From the front office staff to the hygienists, assistants, and dentists, everyone is incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about their patients. I recently had a root canal performed by Dr. Sluder, and it was a surprisingly comfortable experience. The injection was quick and painless, and the entire procedure went smoothly with no discomfort. Recovery afterward was just as easy. Sara did a fantastic job with my cleaning. She was thorough, patient, and took the time to carefully remove stubborn stains, all while being very gentle. My teeth have never felt better!

Fantastic experience: Our former dentist retired, so my husband and I started to look for a local dentist in Woodstock. After reviewing several dentists, we both agreed that we found a great fit with you. I had my second appointment this past Thursday afternoon and the time just flew by. The office staff for billing and appointments are two lovely gals who are efficient and very kind and accommodating. I would like to especially thank Shonda who made getting my teeth cleaned fun and for giving me great dental hygiene tips; and Dr. Rick for his kindness, expertise, honesty and suggestions for very affordable repairs; and both of them for putting up with all of my questions and knowing all of the answers! Fantastic experience: I was 700 miles from home and had a dental issue. They immediately worked me in, fixed me up, and sent the info to my dentist at home. Competent and efficient describe every person at this practice…and they’re friendly too!

Fantastic experience: I would score this a 10 out of 5 if I could. I had an urgent dental need after hours and left a message. I received a call back from the dentist in just a few minutes. He guaranteed that I could be treated first thing in the morning and discussed options to make myself comfortable overnight. The next day it was such a quick fix and I am back to 100%.

Fantastic experience: We are from out of state visiting our daughter. My husband’s tooth broke into pieces and he lost a filling. They got us in right away and put a temporary crown on his tooth. They sent our home dentist X-rays and information. They explained everything! We couldn’t have gotten better care!

Positive experience: Very professional and their quality of work is usually impeccable. As they get busier things might slip through; like being sent home with cotton swabs still stuck under you tongue. Nothing serious but rather annoying as you’re coming off anesthesia. Sadly they are leaving my dental network and my costs will likely increase unless I change insurance or dentist. This outcome is yet to unfold.

Positive experience: Dr. Chris and ‘Larry’ were life savers for me. Not only were they two of the absolutely nicest people I have met in Georgia!! They were leaving the office on Friday when I came in with a crown that had popped off and needed repair for a family party. The two of them reopened the office and brought me in and then proceeded to clean and reglue the crown in place. All of this on their own time!!! I can’t say enough good about Dentistry of Olde Towne itself; with employees like Dr. Chris and ‘Larry’ it has to be the best dental practice in Georgia!!!

The dentist fixed it at my first visit no charge. Said if what he done that day didn’t work come back and he would work on it some more. Fantastic experience: I have been going here for over 20 years and I just now had to have an extraction performed ( it was my fault the tooth cracked and died) to prepare for an implant and to say that Dr. Galloway and her Assistant did a great job would be an understatement. They worked together well and after it all was done, they explained everything I should do after care. I followed their advice and not only did I need no medication but I also had/have no discomfort. The procedure was done on a Fri and as of Monday I feel great with no issues what so ever. I am so grateful that these two ladies are part of the Dentistry of Olde Towne family. Your care and comfort level is outstanding to say the least

From the moment I walked in, the entire team was warm, welcoming, and attentive. This was my first visit, and unfortunately I had misplaced my wallet beforehand. I was honestly a bit panicked, thinking I wouldn’t be seen without an ID, but they were incredibly kind and simply asked that I bring it next time. That immediately put me at ease. I was taken back right on time for my appointment, which I really appreciated. The X-rays—something I usually dread—were completely painless. They even have a panoramic machine that made the process quick and comfortable. Shanda, my hygienist, was wonderful. She was gentle, thorough, and did an exceptional job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Galloway was equally impressive—very friendly, approachable, and took the time to clearly explain everything I needed moving forward. I also appreciated that they did not push fluoride treatment, which I’ve found is often unnecessarily recommended elsewhere. It felt like their focus was truly on patient care rather than upselling. The office itself was spotless, and every team member I interacted with was genuinely kind and professional. Hands down, the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Dentistry of Olde Towne in Woodstock, Ga.

He’s the best; works with you and is sensitive on your dental needs and plan. He has the best numbing technique that I brag about (take it from someone always fearful). The other dentists are just as great; they use the current techniques and the office is impeccable; no mediocrity here. Try them! It’ll be a great decision made.

The front office is super nice. as lot of times the dentist are good or the dentist hygienist and dental assistants are great and the front office ppl are rude. Not here. they have standards all around here. Easy to remember I love my hygienist and the dental assistant they are both named heather and are both great.

Dr. Sluder met me at the office and took care of the problem so I wouldn't have to deal with it over the weekend. Totally reaffirms that I'm making a great choice in this dentist group! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I’ve found a new dentist office! I’ve been going to a dentist in Alpharetta for years that I dearly loved but I no longer work in that area so it was a drive to go for a visit. With the new year I decide to make a change and these folks came highly recommended. My visit was great! They made me feel right at home and it was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. Very happy!

Positive experience: I love the staff here, they’re so awesome! I am NOT pleased however that it’s 2026 and they do NOT have any online payment capabilities at all. They can send text reminders of appointments and of a balance that is due so I know they have some technology enablement. If I receive a paper bill from them it won’t get paid until my next appointment or if I happen to remember and stop in, I won’t call with my credit card info nor write it on payment slip and mail in. I implore the office to implement secure online bill pay to improve on their already stellar services. Tom Leatham

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sluter is the best dentist I have ever gone to. He and his assistant, Terry are so good at everything aspect of dentistry and so nice to top it off! Not every dentist has your best interest, but Dr. Sluter goes above and beyond to guarantee his work. I would 100% recommend him and I have to several of my friends. I had completely new crowns on all front top and front bottom teeth. I should have had braces and have never liked my teeth. He completely changed my smile and confidence, even at 67♥️

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this dental practice located in downtown Woodstock near the traffic circle. Had a crown fall out right before New Year’s; they fit me in the same afternoon and Dr. Chris did a great job taking care of it.

Fantastic experience: I suffered a terrible fall and lost 2 teeth. My mouth required sutures. Dr Jacob Sluder was kind enough to open their office on a Sunday to determine what could be done to restore my mouth and teeth. He then scheduled me for the next morning and he and his lovely assistant Terri were able to create a temporary bridge that day.! My new permanent bridge looks totally natural! I totally recommend Dentistry of Old Towne!
