Fantastic experience: I LOVE THIS OFFICE! My first visit was an emergency after my toddler fell face-first onto concrete while playing. He was understandably upset and in pain, but as soon as we walked into the office, everything changed. He immediately started saying, "Wow!" I was impressed myself and honestly wished I had a dental office like this growing up. They have a fish tank built into the wall, iPads, sensory activity walls, and fun mirrors that keeps kids engaged. During our first visit, my son was having a difficult time because of his pain. By the second visit, he was happy and excited to see the dentist. However, due to his anxiety, he unexpectedly vomited in the chair, on himself, and on me. What stood out most was the professionalism and compassion from the staff. They immediately stepped in to help with the cleanup and treated us with kindness and respect. There were no judgmental looks or awkward comments, just exceptional care, patience, and bedside manner. I am incredibly grateful for the way they cared for my son and I. This made this stressful experience so much easier. I highly recommend this office parents looking for a caring and child-friendly dental team.

Fantastic experience: When I first stepped in, I felt very nervous but Nurse Silvia made me feel real comfortable with the chair and asked if I wanted to watch anything on the TV. Dr. Tariq also made me real comfortable and explained all of the tools and what she was going to do during my visit.

Dr. McCabe is extremely professional, kind, and caring, and he always makes Henry feel comfortable during his visits. Martha was incredibly patient, gentle, and friendly, taking the time to make sure Henry felt calm and safe throughout the appointment. Best experience for kids. My son has special needs, and they treated him with such care, compassion, and understanding. The receptionist team also went above and beyond, taking the time to clearly explain the billing and insurance process, which I truly appreciated. I highly recommend this practice for any child—special needs or not. It was evident that Dr. McCabe, Martha, and the entire team truly care about their patients and families.

I have a peace of mind knowing that she is safe and will not have any teeth pain. I went to 3 dentists before we found Dr. McCabe. No one else could get in her mouth and get the job done. I will be forever grateful for the patience of this dentist office. It’s also clean and the staff is fabulous.

Fantastic experience: Every single visit has been stellar. My daughter's have mostly seen Dr. McCabe and Dr Walk. These pediatric dentists are the kindest, friendliest and the most attentive to every aspect of their dental issues. They do not rush the visit and will answer any questions /concerns I have. My girls are in their early 20s now and have been seeing them since 3 yrs old. They are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! The office staff/receptionists and the dental hygienists are also very thorough and so pleasant. The office itself is BEAUTIFUL and so kid friendly. (TV screens on the ceiling, video games, games, huge fish tank, etc-- really cool!) My daughters' still loving going there and will go as long as they can. (even though we moved further away from them, we still go to see them 2x a year!) They are truly top notch and will take great care of your child.

Fantastic experience: We have excellent experiences with all three of my kids who approach the dentist very differently. We had gone to a different pediatric dentist previously and switched to Dr McCabe and Dr Tariq, both of whom treated our kids with extreme patience. I trust the practice very much.

Fantastic experience: My kids go to Westfield Pediatric and we have absolutely no complaints. They are very friendly, professional and accomodating. For example, when my daughter needed to come a different day than scheduled, they accomodated us by being able to see her on the same day we were there for our son. I highly recommend Westfield Pediatric!

My 4 yr old usually has a hard time getting off bed un the morning, but when I told him we are going to the dentist today, he jumped up yelling "Yay!! I LOVE seeing my dentist!!".

Fantastic experience: My 3 year old son had an excellent visit with Dr. Tariq today. From the minute he was welcomed into the office, I could see how comfortable he felt. Dr. Tariq and Jasmine, the dental assistant, both had such a wonderful bedside manner that he sat through the entire exam and cleaning all by himself! Fantastic experience: We LOVE Westfield Pediatric Dental! Between my 13 year old, 7 year old and 18 month old, each child is treated based on their own individual needs. Fantastic experience: We are incredibly grateful to Dr. McCabe and his team. From the very beginning, he has been knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in the well-being of his patients and their families. Our little boy was just a few days old when we first visited Dr. McCabe. He immediately recommended an excellent lactation consultant and thoroughly explained our baby’s tongue and lip ties and potential treatment options. Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding about what our insurance would cover, we initially chose to have the procedure done at a different oral surgeon’s office. We’ve regretted that decision ever since. It’s truly worth it to have a frenectomy done correctly and with care by a trusted provider like Dr. McCabe. Ultimately, we returned to have the procedure redone with Dr. McCabe — and we couldn’t be more thankful that we did. Dr. McCabe and his team were absolutely wonderful with our now 4-month-old, taking their time and even pausing during the procedure to let our little one rest. Dr. McCabe is, without a doubt, the most up-to-date and thoughtful pediatric dentist we’ve encountered.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Westfield Pediatric Dental from the moment we walked in, the entire staff made both of my children feel comfortable and cared for. My autistic son often has anxiety about medical visits, but they showed incredible patience, understanding, and compassion. They took the time to explain every step to him in a calm, gentle manner, which truly helped him feel safe and at ease. My neurotypical daughter was also treated with the same kindness and professionalism, making the visit enjoyable for her as well. The office is welcoming, kid-friendly, and very well-organized, which made the experience smooth for our whole family. We couldn't ask for a better place!!

They made my son Christophur feel completely at ease while getting two teeth extracted, a situation that could have been scary, but they handled it with such kindness and professionalism. We appreciate them both!

They are so patient and kind with our children (currently 6 and 3 years old) always taking the time to explain what they are doing and why good oral hygiene is important. The office staff has also been helpful with insurance issues and appointment reminders/rescheduling.

Fantastic experience: We were really pleased with our experience from the first phone call (with Nicole) to our appointment with Dr. McCabe. My daughter had been having some tooth pain and when I called to consult, Nicole listened carefully and then looked at prior X-rays to determine possible causes and how we should address it. In the appointment with Dr. McCabe, he also took his time to ask questions and thoroughly examine. He was able to discern the specific cause and how to appropriately treat. We felt very well taken care of!

Fantastic experience: Dr. McCabe and Martha do a great job explaining the treatment plan before they get started. The new technology used made filling my daughter’s cavities pain free with no shots! It was great that she wasn’t numb walking out of the office. This trip to the dentist was stress free!

They spared no expense ensuring the children feel as comfortable as possible when having exams done, whether cleanings or a first time visit. TVs on the ceiling, an open floor plan of dental chairs to put kids at ease and total transparency. I mean, it was my 3 year old's first visit and you'd swear he'd been there before given his comfort level. The energy of the dental assistant with my 5 year old for his X-rays was perfection. Dr. Walk was so warm and amazing with my kids. So happy we chose Westfield Pediatric Dental for my boys!

Fantastic experience: My coworker recommended this place to me and it’s everything I have been looking for since my move to New Jersey from CT in 2020. The Staff are all friendly, they greet you with smiles, they are efficient, did not wait long at all, I was in and out in about 45 min with 3 children. They were thorough as well. The place is clean, kid friendly, and my kids were able to sit side by side and get their exams done as they watched the tv’s in the ceiling ! (A must for me) they were all smiles leaving this place. Lastly, they said “mom, they gave us mechanical toothbrushes!” Lol We will be with Dr. McCabe until they outgrow this place !

Fantastic experience: Dr. Walk is the best. My son has been going to her since he was 3 and he’s 11. We moved to Virginia 3 years ago and we drive up every 6 months for a check up with Dr. Walk, it is worth the drive!! When we get there it’s like going to see family you haven’t seen in a while and catch up. My son loves going to the dentist, that says everything!!

Fantastic experience: This office was referred to me by a friend’s family member. My youngest has ASD and needs speciality care. The hospitality of these office is top tier. Although a dental procedure can be dramatic for children no matter the developmental stage, my husband and I never felt uncomfortable with how our child was being cared for. I am so grateful to have found this office. We are patients of Dr. McCabe and he is excellent! I am certain all the doctors in this practice are just as excellent. Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Jong. She is straight forward without passing judgement or acting condescending toward the parents. She addresses the kids who need the addressing because kids don’t always listen and believe their parents. They think we are overreacting or nagging them. There will come a time when your adolescents will not let you supervise them brushing their teeth. She educates the kids without criticizing. Too bad the office is not in network with BCBS dental, and my husband is retiring so we don’t have Delta Dental anymore. Otherwise, my kids and I would love to stick with Dr. Jong.

Went through two others and not one compares to the quality, cleanliness, patience & informative responses to all my questions without rushing or making me feel anything but confident and educated in the decisions made about children’s well being and care. Fantastic experience: Great services! My daughter was born with tongue tie and causes me huge pain during breast feeding. She also keeps having feeding breaks and suck in extra gas affecting sleeping. The procedure was quick and easy and had immediate results. Easy to feed and no more blisters for me.

Fantastic experience: We can't thank Dr. McCabe and Ms. Martha enough for being so patient and accommodating with my son. My son is autistic and these two have been working with us since he was 2-years old. They give him time to explorer the room and get acquainted with the chair every time. They are never forceful and genuinely understanding. When the time comes for cleaning and examination, we all work as a team and they are gentle, quick and efficient. Dr. McCabe also invited us to come in between routine visits to tour the facility and rooms, just so my son can become more comfortable with the environment rather than coming in every 6 months. The staff in the front desk are great also. They are the "control tower" of the facility balancing calls, in-office guests, etc.. and they all do it with a genuine smile. Thank you all again!..But give Ms. Martha and Dr. McCabe a raise!!! The special needs community are so blessed knowing we have these two to turn to !
