Fantastic experience: Dr. Olesya Telenko is excellent. She spoke with great respect and warmth to her Hygienist, which I particularly noticed. She had a way of listening and responding with real interest to both her helper and to me. I almost forgot I was having a filling put in. She was so professional.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff, from the front to the back was very welcoming. My hygienist, Robin, was understanding and calming. She made me feel comfortable and at ease, especially, since I have a fear of going to the dentist.

Positive experience: I had a cleaning and general checkup done. The cleaning was the roughest, not gentle, cleaning I've ever had and I've had well over a hundred in my life time. The hygienist said I had some very stubborn tartar on one tooth in particular. I tried to tell the hygienist that I had some dental work done the last time I was in the office with some fillings and it was rough feeling where it had been done. She told me that she's been doing this for years and knows what tartar is. When the dentist came in for the exam, the hygienist told the dentist about the stubborn "tartar" and the dentist told her that it was some of the root filling, not tartar. Needless to say I didn't get any kind of apology from the hygienist for not listening to what I was telling her. The dentist, on the other hand, was polite and considerate.

Fantastic experience: I had never had a root canal before and had a ton of anxiety about it because of how they're portrayed in media. They made the process very easy here, I hardly felt a thing. 0 out of 10 on the pain scale. Basically no soreness afterwards either, I didn't even take any Advil or Tylenol or anything. Just completely fine and back to normal by the time I got home from the procedure.

Negative experience: This is a new office for me and my kids I chose based on reviews. Despite the constant push for additional services for additional cost and them overcharging my daughter which they reimbursed her for, I went in for a second visit for a cleaning. After being asked if I want additional services such as fluoride tx. and oral cancer screening and clearly stating I only want a cleaning and nothing extra, I sat and the hygienist began doing her thing. She said you need a couple x-rays but its a bit early(20 days), I said I'll come back but she said it should be fine and went to check with front desk. They said it's covered. After almost an hour of her doing her thing, the dentist came in. The hygienist lets him know that scaling is done and proceeds to tell me that she believes my insurance will cover it. I was so confused, sat up and questioned, scaling and possibly covered by my insurance and stated I came in for a cleaning. I said you don't provide a service not scheduled especially without the patients agreeing to it and especially without making sure it is fully covered by patients insurance. The doctor Dr. Alexander J. McGuiness stated that if anything weren't covered they would not bill or charge me. Then he asked to begin his exam, looked at my tongue and mouth, said everything looked good and started taking his gloves off. I then asked what about my cleaning? He rudely said "we're out of time" putting his hands up like "oh well". So all in all I did not get the service I was scheduled for. Not only will I not go back but neither will my kids. This is literally the worse experience I have had a dentist office in 46 years of my life.

Positive experience: I really like Dr. Jay Martin and his chair side assistant! Always the kindest gentlest care. Life Long Dental , however, sent me a reminder two weeks ago that I was over due for a visit. I was seen at the practice two weeks ago, I was seen today for a completion of a crown and already have a next appointment set for a cleaning in March 2020. The right hand of Life Long Dental obviously does not know what the left is doing. Luckily my dentist does and that is why I put up with Life Long Dental.

Fantastic experience: The whole experience was great. From walking in and being greeted by the front staff to the hygienist who cleaned my teeth and to dealing with the front staff at the end. Even the manager of the office was there when I was checking out who asked me how everything went.

Negative experience: I just experienced a horrible visit. I had to walk out! Dr Minn and Marissa were excellent! Unfortunately they are no longer there and are replaced by others causing me to find a new dental practice

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful first visit at Life Long Dental. I have severe dental anxiety from childhood experiences and it’s caused me to neglect dental care as an adult, resulting in some serious issues. I arrived at the office and was greeted warmly by the lovely staff. I was brought into the exam room and treated kindly and with compassion. The dentist (Dr. Bergenfeld) was very kind and talked me through the many issues I have, explaining each one in detail while helping to create a plan to get my teeth and gums healthy. I appreciate the care I received and will be a life long patient.

Fantastic experience: I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at the Dentist office today. It’s been a roller coaster in the last couple of years since Dr. Martin Retired. My family has been going there since 1996 with Dr. Martin. Wasn’t all that happy in the last few years but I think the staff and new dentists have it together! Sally was a great dental hygienist and very pleased with my first introduction to one of the two new dentists! Keep it together!

He explained what he was doing prior to doing it and the sounds and feelings that I might experience. He made sure that I wouldn't feel anything and that I was comfortable. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for 20 years. I loved the original dentist and hygienists ( Dr Jay Martin) and I was able to see them at least every 6 months. When he sold the practice, I didn’t love the replacements, but kept going. The practice changed hands again and I could not be happier! Dr Minn is a very thorough and thoughtful dentist with a super gentle touch and demeanor. I had to have a tooth pulled and a bone grafted. I’m very pleased with the result 2 months later. I just had a teeth cleaning with Marissa and will never use another hygienist again. She did a great job and I actually had fun because of her personality. My insurance only covers preventive dentistry, but the front office has helped me with payment plans and cost reduction plans that the office uses to help spread payments out over time without interest. I highly recommend Lifelong Dental.

Positive experience: I was a new pt.today. I worked for a large, private, successful healthcare practice for 10 years so I understand how it should work. My hygenist, Sally, was lovely - any practice would be lucky to have her! I was a late and the xray equipment was not working at first. I explained that I would provide recent xrays in short order, had no dental issues and just wanted a cleaning. I could feel Sally's stress on getting those xrays included but knew it wasn't critical since I already had recent xrays and could provide them. Again, this was a cleaning, not a root canal. As a new patient, your practice should have asked me about xrays beforehand, not surprised me with extra work/charges. I felt sorry for Sally who was trying to get everything done maybe under the practice's pressure. No reflection on her, personally. Next, when the dentist arrived to review my cleaned teeth, he asked me about 4 times if I had any dental issues or problems and noted that I had older fillings. Red flag. My fillings are perfect, lasting and have never posed any issues. NOT replacing them. Finally, when I checked out, I was surprised with a $25 charge for an "oral cancer check," something I did not agree to nor recieve. If I hadn't asked about it, I would have been charged. Other than Sally, I am unimpressed with the practice. Overall, I felt like charging me/my insurance company as much as possible was more important than winning a new patient. The 4 stars are all for Sally.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit and I found the office to be a clean environment with a friendly staff. Dr. Martin had a good sense of humor and overall the experience was good.

Negative experience: The doctor forgot to numb an entire section of my mouth before an SRP cleaning, so that felt great. Then after one filling, they tested the gap with floss, decided it wasn't tight enough, numbed my mouth so they could alter the filling, then decided to just use thicker floss and said the gap was tight enough. Stabbed in the gums for no reason. A few weeks after the SRP cleaning (a very painful, deep clean) I went in for a filling, the hygienist sat me down and started scraping away at my teeth. I thought she was inspecting the previous work or preparing in some way for the upcoming filling. That wasn't the case, she just thought I was there for a cleaning. A few minutes in, I asked her if we could schedule a separate appointment for whatever it was she was doing because I was taking off work to get a filling done and didn't have enough time for anything else. She insisted it wouldn't be much longer and kept cleaning, the whole time remarking how clean and healthy my gums/teeth were. That was because I had the SRP a few weeks prior, so the cleaning was completely pointless and redundant. Then the doctor came in and had no idea what was going on. The hygienist still hadn't put it together that I had come for a filling and the cleaning wasn't the point of my visit. They tried to say they could squeeze in the filling but I didn't have enough time at that point. They scheduled the filling for another visit, billed my insurance for the cleaning, and acted like nothing was wrong. I decided I was going to go elsewhere for my dental work, so I called to cancel the appointment and ask them to cancel the insurance claim for that cleaning, since it was their mistake and completely pointless. (I only get two cleanings covered per year). They put me on hold for half an hour and I eventually hung up. I called again and was promised a call back from the office manager. She never called me back. I finally got her on the phone and after arguing for a while, she eventually agreed to cancel the insurance claim, warning me that it would take forever to unwind. That conversation was what made me glad that I had chosen to stop going there. With a name like "Lifelong Dental", you'd think they would recognize their mistakes, own up to them, and try to earn their patients' long term/referral business. Zero of that going on. The insurance claim eventually got unwound but then they just sent me a customer pay bill for it anyway. They've been calling me ever since trying to reschedule that appointment and I've told each representative to stop calling, but they continue. The place is backwards. Read the older negative reviews that they've buried. I wish I had before going there because they were all pretty spot on.

Positive experience: The staff is very good but this visit was not the best due to some technical difficulties with computerized imaging equipment which cause a somewhat lengthy delay in treatment. Once the equipment malfunction was rectified the visit and dental treatment was very good as has been the case with visits thus far this.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best dental experience of my life, which is saying a lot since I've always been nervous about going to the dentist. I had a chipped tooth and ultimately needed to get a crown and a deep clean across three separate visits. Dr. Minn was extremely knowledgeable, skilled, caring, and patient when answering all of my questions / concerns. The hygienist performed an expert and thorough cleaning, while the staff and assistants were both kind and efficient. All in a wonderful experience!
