Fantastic experience: I have been using this dental office for about 4 years now, and am very satisfied with the staff and the care I receive here. While I have minimal dental insurance coverage, they are excellent about discounting any treatments I need so I can continue to take care of my oral health as a senior on a fixed income.

Negative experience: I will never visit again. Came for a simple cleaning and they never even attempted it just told me I needed 2000 dollar cleaning instead. My husband was in the next room and they were doing the same thing to him.

Fantastic experience: I have experienced dental anxiety for about a decade, so I was extremely nervous about getting extensive work done. Historically, it has taken me around 40 minutes to get numb, but Dr. Jackson was able to get me completely numb in just 5 minutes. That alone helped my anxiety start to fade. Dr. Jackson and the dental assistant, Misty, truly took great care of me throughout the entire visit. They were patient, attentive, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. I cannot recommend them enough. This was by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had, I really needed this. Negative experience: This experience was nothing more than a hustle. I contacted McLaughlin dental Care telling them I was in need of an emergency extraction they then set me an appointment that I made it to only to find out that only intended to charge me for x-rays and then refer me somewhere else. I was told by the doctor as well as another employee that they don't do those kind of extractions or rarely any back teeth extractions. Which that's all fine if they would have notified me when I called saying I needed my back tooth extracted. Instead my time was wasted so that a business could do business instead of provide the service that I needed. It seems as if McLaughlin dental cares business model is money over everything. I am still currently in pain a waiting an appointment from whom they referred me to only to be told that I have to undergo a consultation that will cost me upwards of $200 and my x-rays that I pay for from McLaughlin dental Care may not meet their standards and I may have to possibly pay for x-rays all over again. All in all I got hustled out of some money not the first time but the first time from an establishment like this. McLoughlin dental Care do better!

Fantastic experience: I am very fearful of going to the dentist due to past experiences with other dentists. Not only did everyone at McLoughlin Dental Care make me feel safe, they made me feel comfortable with my fear and even took time to listen. From the front desk to the doctor, they were all so kind. The dental hygienist took time before the cleaning to explain everything -- every step of the way. They took such good care of me and were kind in the process. 100% recommend.

Negative experience: I went to this establishment for a check up and cleaning. After 1.5 hours of sitting in the dental chair and getting my teeth measured, the hygienist told me that they could not clean my teeth and gave me a referral to a periodontist. I’m not understanding this. I’ve never been to a dentist and have them tell me that they cannot scrape my teeth ? There is no reason why I was sent away besides the establishment stating that it wouldn’t do any good.

Negative experience: They do not care about you at all. I was just in your office and was refused care if I didn't pay you 108.90. This office has told me over the phone and in person, several times, that I don't owe anything. I don't even care about that anymore. Why was I denied care at the door over 108.90 that you should've disputed when you could've, didn't, and now it falls to me to dispute? Okay, I paid the 108.90 but outright refusing provide care to someone (who's always paid everything else you've asked and is in active pain because the work you did on my tooth didn't fix it cutting my tongue every day) over 108.90 is insane. I know you can't discuss my case in your response because of hippa or whatever but I was in your office discussing my case and you can see above how that went. I was so excited to get this tooth fixed and not have cuts on my tongue and you just had to have your 108.90 before I could have any semblance of peace from the horrid pain. I hope the 108.90 was worth making someone feel small and unimportant and their health and happiness worth less than 108.90.

Positive experience: I had an appt. for a cleaning as I always do every 6 months. When I got there, (5 mins early) I waited in the lobby for 20 mins. As I sat there, I listened to the patients that came out. Every single one of them were given estimates for further work and they weren't happy about the cost. I thought, oh no. When I got to the room, the hygienist did her check up and said she couldn't do a cleaning since I required a deeper cleaning. Mind you, I had an appt for a cleaning and have had them every 6 months for the last 10+ years. She proceeded to tell me that I would need additional appts for the "Deep Cleaning" and would also have to pay part of it beyond my insurance costs. Of course I was hesitant and then said no. The dentist came in per my request and agreed I would just need a general cleaning. So I then received a hurried 15 min cleaning with her poking my gums then scraping. In all I was there 45 mins. I really wish Dr Nimz was still there, I've never felt so rushed and "Prodded." Maybe just a bad day for them but I'm actually left wondering if I should go back.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic job from everyone: staff behind reception was lovely to me and help me out, America did an amazing job working around my extreme dental anxiety as well as providing amazing care, and the dentist was thoughtful and really laid out a great plan for me to get my dental picture back to a healthy one. If you have anxiety but want to be cared for in a nonjudgmental, kind environment, do yourself a favor and go here.

Fantastic experience: So far I have had a great experience but to be fair I have only had my first appointment which is just a bunch of X-rays & coming up with a treatment plan. I will follow up after my next appointment (root canal). I let them know that I have had horrible experiences in the past because I take 2 to 3 times longer than the average person to numb-up. They said they were willing to work around this issue, but I have been told that in the past and either they didn't read the chart notes, didn't believe me, or they forgot which lead to horrible experiences. I'll update this next Wednesday . Best Root Canal ever! It's nice knowing my comfort was a priority!

Fantastic experience: While I live across the street from a different dental office, I chose McLoughlin Dental for their ability to get me an appointment within just a few days and how easy it was to schedule online. Vince helped me determine my insurance coverage (my provider doesn’t send ID cards) and was incredibly kind and well spoken, leading me through the whole process. My hygienist, America, was friendly, without asking me questions when I couldn’t speak. She gave easy directions and did a wonderful job getting my teeth cleaned, going back over problem areas to get the best results. Dr. Makarova asked me about my main concerns and got me the referral I needed to really address those concerns. There was no shaming me for my cavities or how long it had been since my last visit (about 3 years.) They simply empowered me with their offerings for better health ahead. I left my appointment with clean teeth and a solid plan for my ongoing health. I highly recommend their office!

Positive experience: I normally, don’t leave reviews, I always have had great experienced several dental assistants in this facility but only this new young girl that I have encountered whom I have never seen her before. perhaps freshly graduated who assisted me was gosh!!… sorry but she was too rough!, doing shortcuts And also in a hurry!.. Normally, session is very gentle and takes their time. She asked me if I wanted a fluoride for the sensitivity I yes, not even 20 seconds it’s done! And now I could still feel the sensation in my teeth. Sorry but I think she needs more practice and be easy to the client.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy I made my initial appointment with Mcloughlin Dental. I have very very bad anxiety when it comes to dental visits due to horrible experiences in my past. The staff here are so wonderful. Misty was the assistant that I worked with today and she was beyond amazing. She was kind, she listened to me, she treated me like a person that was valued and cared about. She talked to me through everything she did, she made me feel more comfortable than I ever thought possible at a dental office. The dentist was fantastic and we came up with a good start plan to get my dental health on track. I am sooooo thankful to this office after just once visit!

Negative experience: They were nice very friendly but they quoted me a price on the phone but found out that wasn't what we expected so we said goodbye. I was disappointed that the lady who answered the phone didn't quote me the wrong price. I still had to pay the 90 dollar for the office visit. I understand but with the misinformation I thought I should had a discounted on the office visit

Positive experience: The staff was super friendly. I rated a number lower because the restroom was not squeaky clean. Especially the wash basin. I was surprised to see all the built up gunk around the drain. I am a clean freak. This did not leave a good impression on me..a first time patient.

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to a dentist in an embarrassingly long time. No judgement, just kindness from all staff here. Got my teeth all fixed up and the amazing hygienist took extra time to finish my cleaning in one session. I still need to go back for a couple of fillings, but I’m thrilled with everything so far.

Fantastic experience: Went to this dentist for the 1st time yesterday, and I was really impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. They explained everything they were doing step-by-step and patiently answered all my questions. And I got a goodie bag when I left! Great place for dental care!

Negative experience: I reviewed this place months ago, visited after all the staffing changes and Dr. Nimz retirement. It seems the office flagged it for removal. Again, this office sent me to another provider for a reason which was totally unfounded, they recommended because they do "mutual business together" I paid almost $500 out of pocket for an unnecessary consultation and exam by an endodontist with CT x-ray, also wasted some of my yearly benefits with my insurance plan, I was told I have no recourse. Never returned to this office again, found a new one.

Negative experience: If I could give negative Stars I would... I went here once for an exam. The work I needed was costly and I sadly couldn't afford it at the time so I explored my financial options and was prepared to talk to their financial planner at the office and when I call to get this persons information to communicate easier the front woman said just to "send it over and we will see" which I thought was strange because I was told there was one financial planner at that office and so I asked her if everyone there was a financial planner and she disregarded me and just said "send it over and a few of us here will look at it and if we need to escalate it to a manager then we'll escalate it to a manager" right then I knew my privacy had been violated on my first appt. All of the staff was genuinely rude. I immediately found another dentist and paid for another exam out of pocket.

Negative experience: Watch out for these crooks! They have billed me for services that I did not receive and refused to provide me with a bill. Also, they refused to respond to my Better Business Bureau complaint and refused to call me back to discuss the outstanding amount before complaint was filed. With zero notice and no bill (which I requested) they have sent my bill to collections and looks like going to court will now be my only option!

Provide a great service, take the time to explain every detail and thing they are doing throughout the process and do it in a super clean, friendly and easy atmosphere. Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about how wonderful this dental practice is. Dr. Justice was an exceptional practitioner in her thoroughness in looking at the x-rays and repairing my chipped tooth. She explained everything she noticed might need repair and how it should be done. Andy, the hygienist, was also excellent. The only glitch was I was not aware they no longer took Providence Medicare Advantage insurance ahead of time. Check your insurance coverage before you go into their office.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a crown prep. Was having a lot of anxiety when I arrived. Plus having all new dentists and techs I’ve never seen before. Dr Nguyen and the tech immediately put me at ease and were so awesome for the entire visit. Just really made me feel comfortable and well cared for. I’ve been going to this clinic for many years and was feeling anxious about all new people there…but will definitely continue going there!

Positive experience: I’m a long time patient but the practice was bought out and I was not sent a notice of the transfer. Almost entirely a new staff. Everyone courteous of course, but seems a little disorganized at this point. ( longer wait time, longer procedure time, .. I was asked to hold and use the suction wand myself which I’ve never done before, wrong information on my next appointment card which I had to straighten out before I left…) I will return for my next appointment and hopefully the “bugs” will be worked out of system. Happy with the cleaning itself, pleasant interaction with staff.

Positive experience: I was very disappointed to find out about the change of ownership when I went to my appointment. No letter was sent out. No chance to see if my insurance covered the new dentists. My hygienist told me to hold the suction tube and to use as needed. What??? Never been asked to help them before. I am paying them, I am not getting paid to do their work. Loved Dr. Nimz and his staff. I will need to warm up to the new owners and staff.
